mBTC's ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) it's barely in satoshi level. and with all the ASIC's even GPU's are getting outdated. You might some more profit on a CPU only currency like XPM. I tried mining Protoshare for sometime and it wasn't very profitable. GPUs aren't really outdated, they are just moving to scrypt coins. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Pretty obvious scam. But if you want to earn your first bitcoins (or millibitcoins) there are many faucets and "PTC" (Paid To Click) sites out there. Some of them are listed here.

I would also recommend this website for some more links and timers for those links.

Also, Quarkcoin only uses CPU I think. I have never mined those, though, and I don't know anything about their profitability.

Don't expect anyone to actually give it. If you really want those coins, mine it, buy it or get it from faucets (althought the Dogecoin faucets pay really little, except for some that at least give >1 DOGE/day).

So it's a lot more efficient to mine Litecoin or Dogecoin, which are common scrypt coins. If you would like to know more about mining, just let me know.
Scrypt coins? Also I would like to know more about mining, thanks ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Most cryptocoins are either sha256 coins or scrypt coins. Both requires different mining programs. I don't know too much about the technical differences, though. Some famous scrypt coins are Litecoin, Worldcoin, Feathercoin, Dogecoin and Novacoin (most stable coins first, I recommend Litecoin). Easiest way to mine scrypt with GPU is by using GUIMiner Scrypt. If you have an ATI graphics card, you can use the CGMiner. If you are using a graphics card from Nvidia, you have to use CUDAMiner and Stratum proxy. You should also calculate (or just online calculators) to make sure you actually gain more than you pay in electricity costs.

With wait limit, do you mean you have to wait x time or that you need to accumulate 1000 無TC? Because achieving 1000 無TC takes ~20 clicks, so it's easy to achieve in 3-4 days.
I mean the accumulating X coins. Just so I can ensure my brain is working properly how much coin is 1000 uLTC? ie when you write it out 1 mLTC or 0.001 LTC. IS IT SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND IT'S FORBIDDEN TO POST ABOUT ALTCOINS IN THE NEWBIES SUBFORUM? Tbh I've never read it was forbidden. If I knew that, I wouldn't have posted it there. Could you please show me where it says?

It can be advanced at first sight, but it actually ain't that confusing as soon as you understand it. You have to register here, then just write the user name you registered with at Coinbooster. Figured it out after I had already posted....there is a wait limit for cash out on that site as well With wait limit, do you mean you have to wait x time or that you need to accumulate 1000 無TC? I've had payouts from both Litecoiner and LTC4YOU, so those two are both fine. Not tried the others.
The quantities per roll have gone heavily down. Some days ago the smallest possible roll was 30無TC, yesturday it was 20無TC and now it is only 2無TC. Jackpot has also decreased accordingly. I would not recommend LTC4YOU any more unless you have the time to get some referrals. Currently I have 6 referrals, which gives me 15/40/70/370. But having 0 referrals gives you 2/5/10/50 LTC/hour. If you get even more referrals they give really good payouts + the referral money. Tl;dr: Use LTC4YOU if you think you can get referrals there coinbooster.net just confusing

Hello people of the BitCoin forums! I'm new to all of this cryptocurrency (I wish I had known about this 2 years before), and I have a couple of little questions for the people who actually go through my message and read my things. The question is : why is the bitcoin prices so high? And it seems that people use bitcoins like stocks, is it good or bad for the currency?
Thank you, and sorry for the bad grammar : english is not my first language :p
Also, could someone tell me if mining with my GPU card is still profitable? Thanks again!
I'm new to all of this cryptocurrency (I wish I had known about this 2 years before): You should know that there are people like me that knew about it for 2 years ago, but still didn't invest in it. Guess how that feels? Why is the bitcoin prices so high? It's been a lot of hype about it in mainstream media leading to more people buying it as an investment, resulting in driving up the price. Also, more and more places actually accept it as a currency, also helping the price increase. And it seems that people use bitcoins like stocks, is it good or bad for the currency? - While I'd say this is not as good as people using it as a currency, it's still better than people not using it at all IMO. It helps spread Bitcoin and get new people using it, which could lead to it stabilizing more and more and making it a more common currency. Also, could someone tell me if mining with my GPU card is still profitable? - It depends on your GPU and electricity costs. You could start by actually posting your GPU. If you decide to mine with your GPU, I suggest not mining Bitcoin with it since there are many "ASIC Miners" that are much more efficient than GPU mining, making GPUs obsolete. However, there are no ASICs for scrypt coins (scrypt is the hashing method used, Bitcoin uses sha256). So it's a lot more efficient to mine Litecoin or Dogecoin, which are common scrypt coins. If you would like to know more about mining, just let me know.

Hello! Recently, more Litecoin faucets have been created. I'd like you all to know about them. The default link is not a referral link and gives me no kind of income, but if you would like to choose to support me you could also click the referral link provided. However, this is completely optional and using the normal link gives you just as many litecoins. I will also try to update this list if I hear about more Litecoin faucets. - Litecoiner - Avg. payout: 100 無TC/24 hours. Works like Bitcoiner. The longer you use it, the more LTC it gives (up to 2x the original amount).
- LTC 4 You (optional referral link if you wish to support me) - Avg. payout: Starting at ~2.5 無TC/hour, but increases the more referrals you get (for example, after 2 referrals you receive 3x the amount). Works a bit like Freebitco.in. It gives you a random number between 0-10000. The higher number, the more LTC you get. The chance of winning jackpots is a lot higher than at Freebitco.in though, but the jackpots are smaller. Also provides a daily lottery where 30 users are chosen each day and credited with 1-6 mLTC. Requires signup.
- Coinbooster (optional referral link if you wish to support me) - Avg. payout: ~55 無TC/hour. The site works like their Bitcoin faucet, but it requires a VCBiz account. Requires signup.
- All Coin Faucet - Avg. payout: 1 湎TC/hour. Unlike the other sites listed this site actually gives you bitcoins. Why do I list it then? Well, you can choose to withdraw litecoins instead of BTC.
Disclaimer: I don't guarantee that any of these faucets will actually pay. But if any of these sites don't pay you, contact me and I might remove it from the list. These sites are mostly funded by advertising, so they might require you to turn off AdBlock or similar browser extensions. If you don't know what Litecoin is, you can check out Litecoin's official site, Litecoin's offical forum thread and/or Litecoin's official forums. I'm sorry if a similar thread already exists, but I've found none that is updated with all the links I've provided.
