I try to sell something on a exchange called cat.ex or something and after some time I realised the volume is fully fake and they are using bots. After that I don't h for any small exchange. Cause if somehow my asset got blocked that would be a big problem.

And yes checking for team members is a good option. But that's not enough. Many projects are there where they are giving real information about themselves but still scam after some time. So in my opinion many factors should nbe checked before investment. Like white paper is it copy or not, team members and their link, registration if they don't have any,roadmap, and partners. Always cross check this factors from two sides. That will help.

Most of the people start with them. they are easy to use, and they also have a good tutorial for how to create wallets. And if you have any other choice you can go with it.just go for any wallets which supports all the ethereum standrads and all eth based coins.

Most of them claimed that they have backed their coins by gold or silver. But actually they didn't they just scammed people.
