So I was aware that my account was stolen for a while, I didn't bother trying to get it back at first until I realized how profitable these bounty campaigns are. I found out that I had to have a privatekey of a bitcoin wallet posted on the account before. I couldn't find any bitcoin wallets on my account however I found some shitcoins, Kittehcoin for example. However the privatekey of that is on my old computer that I haven't used since 2015/2016 and it broke and I kept procrastinating to repair it.  

So I thought of an easier way, I'm just gonna ask my account back. I made a new account and messaged Msile (this account) literally this:

Dear hacker/buyer of account

I'm the creator of this account(Msile) and still have the private keys to get this account back, however you're lucky that I've been too lazy to repair my computer.  I'm going to assume that you are a buyer of this account and not the hacker itself.  My account had a shitty password that was easily cracked after the 2015 database hack. I'd like to have my account back. I talked to a DT member/Moderator and they told me I could get it negative trust by making a post about it and I could get my account back as long as I have the privatekeys connected to my account, which I have on my old HDD.

Now since you're probably a buyer, I have no intention to fuck you over. I see you're doing a signature campaign and if you're willing to give my account back, you can still get the rewards for that one. If this gets ignored/rejected, I will be motivated to create a post to get Msile negative trust, most likely causing you to not get the reward. After that, I'd have to connect my HDD to get my wallets to get ownership back, which would revert the negative trust.

I hope you do not take this personal, I'd just gladly have my account back.

And surprisingly he actually gave it back, changed the email back and gave me a new weird password. If he didn't I'd have  probably gotten the motivation to get my HDD working though. The thief was just done with a bounty campaign and probably cared more about receiving the reward than about keeping the account with the chance of it getting negative trust. Before he gave it back though, he deleted all the posts HE had made, resulting in me not being a hero member anymore, then again, when I was hacked I was a senior member too.

I lost access somewhere in 2016 and gained it back last month, how I got it back is a strange story that no one would believe.

And yes I am Dutch.

Can someone help me get justice? Can someone do a comment analysis to show that my comments are completely different from theirs or help me think of a way to prove myself?

Does anyone know if other DT members can remove negative trust given by someone else? I think The Pharmacist blocked me without giving me a chance.

I do think it's good though that he negative trusts these people, they ruin bounty campaigns for everyone, but I swear I wasn't part of it.

If you look in my post history you see literally no posts in 2017,  it goes from 2016 to 2018, meanwhile this campaign was in 2017. The account thief removed around 200 comments from that period, causing me not to be a hero member anymore.

Exactly. When he can short something with so much regulation and government oversight and still bring it almost down than think what he can do with Bitcoin with not much regulation and the community buying into the FUDs easily. He can create havoc in the Bitcoin world and drop the prices like crazy while the losses people suffer will be huge.

Bitcoin and the crypto market in general has reached a point where it wont be easy for the governments to ban them straight up. As there is billions of dollars of institutional and public money on the line and I don't think governments will take the risk of causing such mass losses to its people.

Until it doesn't, there is no guarantee of anything in this world and with something so risky and volatile like Bitcoin you shouldn't be betting so surely that the price will always recover beyond its previous peak. Yes historically bitcoin has broken all its ATH but there is no surety that it will do so in the future too as that just means that bitcoin's price will just keep on going up forever.

I don't think $250 will be much helpful for you in real life but if you invest this amount right in the correct coin than you can make a nice return that would be useful for you. Also you bought 8 ETH which isn't a small amount and many people would die to just be able to own a single ETH. Investing is better as just keeping it in fiat wont do any good to you.

Another slighty evidence that my account was stolen.

My password was literally 6 characters, tien12, it's in the bitcointalk account database, how could it not have been stolen with such an easy password.

I don't understand why you don't believe me if I copy pasted two things. How about this, this account once participated in the campaign that the multi accounts were partcipating in. Back then it was a senior member and in that period it made plenty of posts and became hero member (that's why I have 500 merit exactly). All those posts back then were deleted from my account. I know that's not proof that I didn't do it myself, but why would I delete my own posts from almost all of 2017 so that I'm not a hero member anymore?

What about the email, I recall there is a database that shows email changes.  Not much after I sent that message to this account, the email changed to the original, ************, before that it was something I wouldn't know.

Hello, I'm one of the listed users. I'd like to say that my account was stolen back then and since then I've got it back. I never partcipated in that campaign myself. My account used to be a Hero member, look at the merit, but the account thief tried to delete all evidence by removing all my posts since somewhere in 2017, becoming a senior member again, I've been participating in a bounty campaign myself though and hope to be soon a hero member again, however now with the negative merit I feel like I've been duped double.

No one controls the Bitcoin system but the community and the miners. The word decentralized is used with Bitcoin for this reason only. If the miners ever go rogue than the community can just fork the coin and start using that chain instead of the older chain. This is a benefit of decentralization that you wont get any where.

There are always going to be new users who don't know about the shilling and FUD that goes around in the crypto community to shake weak hands out of their hodlings and make them sell their coins so that whales can accumulate more of their coins. They will learn it automatically once they get burned by it.

The beauty of cryptos is that regulation cant kill them. Even if the governments bring in extreme regulations and make it too hard to own a crypto currency, the decentralized nature of it will come handy and there will be no way the governments will be able to control the flow of the coins.

Because ICO gives you the best chance at making huge profits in a project, The project is rather new and therefore the tokens are rather cheap, Buy them Early and when the project succeeds, you will get amazing returns

Nothing is impossible in the crypto world, but i dont see BTC ever dying. It keeps getting stronger after each and every challange it faces, and recovers after dips, BTC will continue to develop and become stronger, and wont fade away as easy

This is a good development by KFC, seems they realize that BTC is the future form of payment and how reliable it can be. This shows just how important BTC is, How much it has evolved, hope this eliminated BTC doubters

I dont think if regulations will kill cryptos. come to think of it if crypto is regulated, it means its legalized, when its legal , that means everyone wll be free to use it, thereby attracting more users and more value, regulation cannot be totally bad

Its unfortunate that wallets dont have recovery systems for private keys, so incase the private key is lost, so is your coins, Thats why its encouraged that you have backup storages lake paper wallet, or write it in places where you always find it
