402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unique use case. on: June 28, 2020, 05:35:56 PM
I can't wait to be a part of a crypto space where each project is unique on its own. There is nothing so special about 'use case' if it's not unique. It's becoming boring having too many projects trying to solve the same problem with almost the same approach. You don't need to struggle to attract the attention of the community if you really have something unique to offer. Mind you, uniqueness naturally attracts adoption. A piece of advice to developer, be unique.

On This issue of unique use case, it will take a while because it looks like it is becoming a normal thing for a project to copy others idea and start seeking for funds, this issue is becoming so rampant to the extent projects now copy others whitepaper. Also, just like rightly stated, good projects attracts massive attention on their own because those investing knows there is something to benefit from the project hence the reason we see a newly listed project doing wonderfully well on exchanges. Lastly, with this issue of lack of unique use case becoming too much, holding new altcoins now is very risky because once the team succeeds in getting funds a majority of them ends up becoming nonchalant.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I won't bet on this on: June 28, 2020, 05:20:36 PM
PayPal is planning to implement crypto payment, that's not a bad news at all and we already have DeFi projects making Ethereum bullish this days.. that's two major news that can trigger bullrun soon but..... Don't make a bet on this, nothing might probably happen, actions speaks louder than words, maybe if PayPal actually get this done then, just maybe .......

Yes that's true, action speaks louder than words and until we see it coming to fruition then we can bet, even at that, there is still every tendency the market might not react to it. I always have the notion that the crypto market have a mind of its own, which is why predictions don't work. Nevertheless, I won't still fail to point out that with PayPal taking such steps, it will bring more exposure to all that pertains to crypto because it will be proving a lot of platforms wrong. On the other hand, if Defi projects duly remain good without getting saturated with worthless projects, then it will likely set in a new trend in the crypto space.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Active Telegram Groups on: June 28, 2020, 05:14:48 PM
Active telegram groups for ICO investment?, I don't think there will be any left because they have been disbanded as ICO is now forgotten; yes forgotten owing to how investors were treated which of course was terrible. Seriously it would be better to save your strength and energy for more better fundraising options like IEO where you have a higher chance of succeeding than in ICOs where you won't know your fate. Also, even if you find, be careful as scammers are always active looking for who to steal from and ICO affords them the opportunity to do so.

407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICO vs Bad ICO on: June 27, 2020, 07:34:22 AM
For Newbie How check Which bounty program is good or which one is Scammed and i have heard that many good ICO still not launching there coins

Starting with your title, the rate at which bad ICOs were encountered was much when compared to good ICOs hence the reason all ICOs were seen as being fraudulent until proven otherwise. Secondly, about checking good bounty programs, it is more like checking the project itself because if the project is good then the bounty will be good as well. And to do this, you need to visit the project to understand more about the team and their experiences, you need to know if their use case is applicable or not, know their partners if any, activeness of their social media channels and most importantly the community is also good to look into. Also, there is every tendency that a good project might still end up not paying their bounty participants hence the reason why a good bounty manager is needed.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinion about DMG? on: June 27, 2020, 07:17:57 AM
With Defi making waves nowadays, many projects team will now hide under its wings just to get money from investors and that's it. My opinion on this is simple, and that is, I don't see much uniqueness in it, moreover just as stated it has features similar to certian projects that is to say there is every tendency it won't offer anything new. The backing of course is also another way to add hype to it so that it can boom for a while, but after that, what next? It's always good to be careful of most new projects whether Defi or not.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO increasing rapidly on: June 27, 2020, 06:56:19 AM
I think ICO started to increase day after day and people started to trust it,The future will goes to ICO, maybe because the low price or the new features which it provides.

This is an old post but I still wish to air my view. As of early 2019 ICO started dropping badly that is, the level at which people give attention to them dropped badly and the attention was channelled to IEO and ever since then IEO took over. Also, it even got to a point that most projects already preparing for ICO had to drop the idea and move over to IEO. Lastly, the era of ICOs are gone and a lot of lessons learnt too.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Volatility is good but... on: June 26, 2020, 09:02:00 AM
Volatility is part of what defines Bitcoin and some other cryptocurrencies. As the industry matures, the rise of cryptocurrencies that tracks the performance of less volatile traditional assets like real estates and commodities will likely bring a lot of beauty to the cryptocurrency industry. I believe that a mix of more volatile crypto assets and less volatile assets will give traders a lot of options to enjoy while trading.

Yes volatility of the crypto space is something that will likely remain with us however we can only but find ways to limit and play around it. Even most projects which claims to offer less volatile assets ends up getting hit with reality that most of them died off if not all. Also, about non volatile or less volatile assets, they are there to help both traders and otherwise to put a limit on volatility which is the reason stablecoins like USDT keeps growing in their number of users. Therefore I think it's better to invest in good coins which regardless of volatility will still offer something massive in the near future.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ethereum investment for future ?? on: June 26, 2020, 08:42:20 AM
When it come to altcoins, Ethereum has shown to be the best for over a long time now and will probably remain that way which is shown right from its features to its use cases. Many blockchains has come up with the idea of offering a better smart contracts feature but till date Ethereum keeps topping the chart thus proving yet again that the team knows what they are doing. Also, another attribute which will increase the competitive advantage of Ethereum is the forthcoming upgrade. So from my own opinion, Ethereum has everything which makes it a good investment choice for the future and thus one of the best altcoins in my portfolio.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can the token of an ICO be purchased outside the Exchange? on: June 26, 2020, 08:18:03 AM
Can the token of an ICO be purchased outside the Exchange (before its launch), that is, purchased on any website of the cryptocurrency itself or a website made exclusively for the sale of these tokens?

Many things happened during the era of ICOs and I wouldn't be surprised if it actually took place, but to the best of my knowledge, ICO is different from IEO where ICO takes place on the website of the project. Nowadays, since IEO is the order of the day, all buying of tokens takes place on the exchange alone unless they will host a private sell first, then move to exchange to finish up but in all cases, once IEO starts no more token will be sold except on the exchange.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Short suggestion and situation on: June 26, 2020, 08:08:45 AM
From what I see in the current situation, I can understand that it is most convenient to make money online from home !! It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. I thought it would take another month for graduation to end and then I would go out looking for a job but now what I see is that I have to make the house my job! So I'm trying to do something online !! And I think this will be suitable for everyone who does not want to sit !!

Join with altcoin is the best.

Many people have found solace in online method of earning by joining many platforms where they offer one or two services and are paid, some are in the crypto space learning trading, knowing how to invest and about bounties too, all these are ways to earn passive income once the person is serious about it. Also this pandemic really opened up the potentials of many online platforms where people can earn from. About altcoins, I would suggest you make sure you have gotten a good level of understanding about how to research on them to make the best choice so that you don't end up investing in bad altcoins.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of repetitive projects and old ideas on: June 21, 2020, 07:07:10 PM
This is the whole truth and I strongly agree with you. Many new projects are just a repetition of what is already existing and which is the main reason why many of them if not all becomes worthless after listing because they don't have anything unique nor good which will sustain the price. Only the old projects keeps increasing in value and users because their idea is unique while they try as much as possible to keep improving while a good number of newer projects which don't have any thing good ends up dying slowly. The funny thing is, nowadays new projects ends up copying others (existing projects) whitepaper thus showing that indeed we need to be mindful of projects we invest in, as some, their team is just out to fill their pockets.

417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any exchanges/services that support ETH deposits via smart contracts? on: June 19, 2020, 01:26:05 PM
It might look silly but they are trying to protect your funds and that's it. Almost all exchanges does it and I don't think I have come across any which doesn't. To be on the safer side I would suggest you go ahead and create an external wallet, send it to the wallet first and then withdraw back to the exchange, it might look stressful but that's the only way out. In addition to that, with few clicks you can easily create a wallet with trust wallet and then use it, the wallet which you can still keep for other future purposes.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins vs. Stablecoin: which is more suitable for merchant crypto payment? on: June 19, 2020, 01:02:11 PM
One advantage of stablecoins is price stability. Merchants don't have to worry about price volatility when transacting in stablecoins. In the past and present, there have been a handful of projects proposing issuing altcoins (non-stablecoins) that will lead the future of crypto payment. What's the fate of such projects, will there ever be considered viable?

I will start by saying something towards the title; any coin apart from Bitcoin is known as an altcoin that is to say, stablecoins are still altcoins, but a different type of altcoin though. Nevertheless, you are right about stablecoins, by using them for whatsoever venture, there won't be any need to worry about volatility but the only challenges might be the issue of centralization, although it depends on the view of the project aiming to use it. Also, I think every project knows what serves them best, while some will prefer stablecoins others might prefer ETH or Bitcoin, thus the choice of crypto used for payment will depend on the project itself.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have some funds to invest-- How do I make a good decision? on: June 18, 2020, 08:31:04 AM
There are so many coin out there, Please what do I look out for to make a good choice for investment into any of the coin.

Please be sincere.

Thanks

To air my suggestions, buy into any of the top coins on coinmarketcap, they will save you a lot from uncertainties while keeping you on a good position to know more about other coins. Starting with Bitcoin, you wouldn't have to worry if you are going for long term, but if for short term wait to know the right time to buy, others are ETH and so on. My reason for not saying new altcoins is that, a good number of them can't be trusted and even if you want to, let it be for a very short time. In addition, some of the things to look at is, the team, the idea or use case, the working products, the community, the partners, their social media activeness and exchanges.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bankera..3 years after ICO...a money grab ICO??? on: June 18, 2020, 08:18:30 AM
A money grab ICO? I believe all evidence points to it, also it looks more like a scam. For a project generating such amount of money and yet couldn't bring up any good products and/or services after 3 years shows the team carefully planned the exit scam. There are still others like it and they are the reason whenever I come across anything ICO it pains me a lot because it takes me back to memory lane. As of today, I won't have anything doing with any ICO again, if the project is legit and genuine as the team always claim then IEO should be a viable option.
