It seems like the altcoin scene is heavily monopolized by big pools and some exchanges. I wonder if the rest of the community is aware of this.
Will probably make a bigger thread about this if Bittrex doesn't list it in the next few days.
I think what we're seeing here deserves a lot more attention. It's bigger than the coin itself at this point.
Are you talking about the exchange with 0.25% fees on each trade?  Sorry, did not mean to offend you in any way, shape or form. If it's any consolation I did register at Kingcoiny immediately when I saw you guys added MIN to your exchange. Reason I mentioned Bittrex is because they are one of the biggest if not the biggest exchange right now for altcoins and it would be helpful for the coin to be added there, however, it's not mandatory. Also, Bittrex started small like everyone else, and I joined them back then when their trade volume was under 1 BTC and no-one would even look at them, just to support them as Cryptsy was (and still is) a horrible exchange service and quite franky I'm disappointed with Bittrex now. |

Will there be a server for the game of Starcraft on minerals?  How do I buy StarCraft? It doesn't work. Please help!  starcraft 2 or broodwar? there is like a multiplayer demo for sc2(last forever) I was being sarcastic (mega upload link a couple of posts up) I shouldn't be sarcastic, its wrong to mock people, I just think its helpful if you can cut and paste a link before you delve into the world of virtual currencies, mining and online trading. but for multiplayer you need the original anyway, even skydrow can't crack it By multiplayer you mean the matchmaking part. Almost no calculator out there counts the increase in difficulty that comes as more ASIC enter the market.
Personally, I don't see any ASIC miner meeting ROI since you'll be mining LTC most of the time (and IMO this is what you should rely on when deciding if to buy an ASIC miner or not) and LTC has been getting harder to mine, also you should expect only exponential growth in its difficulty.
If you think LTC will increase in price you should just buy it directly.
If you think LTC will fall in price than obviously don't touch it in any way, shape or form.
If you think LTC will not change in price than at least than you could evaluate better how much you'll be making per cycle of difficulty, but IMO you still won't see ROI.
Don't count on random coins popping up and increasing profitability for a day or 2, that's just not reliable enough.

We are still working on it. The implementation of the initial design was too dark and not all features are possible/easy to implement, we are changing it in the process. Hmm my miner after few hours mines but on pools it says like im not subbmiting any shares? Did dev set 100% fee after few hours or is this problem with pools?
Problem with the pool. Look at your miner and you'll see that you aren't actually mining (unless you're using the latest version in which you should check the backup pool to see if it swapped). But anyway, he doesn't mine 100% after a few hours. Been running the miner for days now and it's solid and on the pool all the time. I have 3 backup pools + primary pool, cards are running on 100%, no shares submitted on any of the pools Try restarting the miner than, dunno what to tell ya. But I know that Claymore isn't stealing, at least not by taking over the miners completely Also, depending on how you set up your GPUs they could be just stuck at 100% capacity without actually doing any work, for anyone. |

So is the multipool gonna launch? And if it does will the network hashrate be transferred to it, or we'll just have to point the miners to it? Or we should look for something else to dig after a few hours?
I am a bit confused about the consensus on multipool. Some people are strongly against it and I share their concerns, but if majority wants multipool then we'll have one. Well, the consensus was to open the multipool after the PoW phase ends. |

Anyone managed to withdraw from c-cex? If so, how long did it take?
i made a ticket, i hope they assist because i have pulled outside 88k, in one single volley from there.... Ouch. I tried it first with 100 but haven't got them just yet. Also had to click the confirmation link twice because first time it sent me to the offline site which resulted to me sending 200... Or at least that's what it shows in my balance now (only 100 withdrawn but -200 from the total balance...). |
