wait, wait, wait! I don`t think it is the right way to look for new devs... Our devs did so well till now! And they will do their best to build up vertcoin in the future.
So I think we should look for a dev who makes the change for some verts and when our god-dev is back he takes control again over everything.
I like the idea that bushido advices the dev and works with him on the algo.
Also want to donate BTC or/and VTC

Well.. I thought Bushido's statement is definitive enough. He stated that he has to prioritise the issues affecting his life and can only work on the algo change on his spare time. If we, the community members want the change to develop faster then it is UP TO US to find a solution - finding developers and funding them to make things happen. It is now up to the Vertcoin community. So right now the community have 2 options: wait for bushido or replace him. People wanted an update and they got it, i hope they'll stop talking and start acting for the good of VTC. KnC Titan can actually mine scrypt-n! we need to be fast |

calm down. It`s not confirmed from KnC that they can mine n scrypt. But probably he got a updated version because he bought a lot I actually know these guys and will contact them. They are from Hamburg. Probably thats the reason our prices are declining |

With the appearance of the lead dev, the recent 'doom-days' posts by the trolls, FUDs and the fearful ones can finally be put to rest. I have faith they will find something else to complain about. On the flip side it's nice to hear from them. Looks like they have their hands full with the upcoming changes. great! if we keep up the traffic in here and do some advertisement vert will turn the corner sooner or later |

next project is noblecoin transformation towards POS (with a small groestl algo POW part)
i guess when u have input for jason to consider
before final pos specs are designed its now the time to write it
u could start ur thinking with 2 numbers
whats the max amount of noble that should be rolled out
and how long the timeframe of rollout should be
consider big amount of coins could lead to lose BTC/Noble tradepairs
and a to fast coin rollout is to high inflation
so i would like u to think about that numbers and give feedback
a true 175% POS in my opinion is out of scope or only very short term as reward for loyal longterm stakeholder

Is there a logical explanation for the downward pressure, which started long before devs announced new algo?
I think the downward pressure started when a lot of other coins, bitcoin included, started trending down. Then we had a period of stabilization, similar to doge and ltc, and now while those coins are bouncing back, doge more than ltc, vert has turned down again, presumably due to lack of information/communication about upcoming (possible) changes/hardfork. so to keep people in VTC we need to contact devs to give updates. It`s fine to buy some cheap VTC but people who sell their coins out of fear can ruin the coin too much. The concurrence is pretty big out there, so we need to keep the community together. I for myself can life with no updates that`s quite normal in the altcoin scene but when price gets under a certain level also the big whales might jump off the train. Bittrex is in business to make money, if there is nothing going on with a coin (no volume) they de-list it.
most people want to make money with crypto. So that`s just normal. All exchanges delist coins. |
