Also hab's genauso gesehen wie Du, gefühlt hilft's wohl.

Bringen diese "Neu-Trainer-Effekte" was?
403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 18, 2024, 11:12:26 PM
It is very sad to see that Union Berlin has experienced a very deep decline in performance and who knows what caused the decline in performance, we don't yet know the clarity, but what is certain is that this is Fischer's failure as coach of Union Berlin, who has been with this club for about 5 years and managed to achieve a proud achievement last season. and ended this season when Fischer failed to make efforts to improve Union Berlin's performance and finally Fischer was removed from his post after being replaced temporarily by Nenad Bjelica and the result was the same.
This is indeed really bad for Union Berlin this season. The club has really experienced a decline in performance, even to the point where it is almost in the relegation zone. Even though last season the club's performance was not that bad and was even able to compete in the top middle of the standings. Union Berlin definitely needs quite significant reform, especially regarding their coach so that they can get more definite changes and also be stronger. But yes, sometimes the condition of the club, especially regarding finances, is not able to make the downturn better. Yeah, let's just see how they perform against Bayern Munich. Unfortunately they have to face a very strong club in the Bundesliga. So yes, this doesn't give Berlin a high enough chance of winning. So the only way is for Berlin to optimize match results to win in other matches.

Bayern Munich, who has dominated the Bundesliga with a charming style of play, will face Union Berlin who are always ready to surprise. January 25th will be the day to look forward to, where world-class players will compete in tactics and skills on the green field of the Allianz Arena. Both teams have shown outstanding form this season, and their meeting will be a real test to see who deserves to occupy the top spot in the standings.
Both teams have their own challenges in this match, and the performance of their key players will be the main determinant of the final result. All eyes will be on the Allianz Arena as Bayern Munich and Union Berlin prepare for an exciting clash in the Bundesliga and this will be the final Head to Head duel. between Bayern winning and adding points to enter the top standings ahead of Liverpool or Union Berlin who will lose and be eliminated with 14 points in 15th place.

Not really. Union Berlin has at no point shown outstanding performance this season and a look at the table would have granted you sufficient insight into the situation Union Berlin is in. There isn't much to discuss when you see these two teams be up against each other. Bayern will destroy them. Anything else would be a surprise. But they are on a top level and all the players they need are fit, maybe except for Gnabry, but Bayern has enough players to replace shortages without a loss in quality in that moment. This is going to be an easy win.

Cheesy

405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: January 18, 2024, 10:41:11 PM
It is all about not underestimating their opponents in this round. Bayern, Manchester City and Real Madrid are the favorites in all those games, but there have been surprises in the past. I would be no exception if one of them gets under pressure, but since it is two games to go, I doubt that any of these teams would falter. I rather expect a few superior games by those teams and then we will see what the next round brings regarding the drawing.
We expects our favorite team to come our victorious in every match played but it's quite important these clubs doesn't fall out of track. UEFA Champions League is definitely not a competition for mediocre teams, the title race is only among the best clubs. We have watch and observe the outstanding performance exhibited by these teams, none of them holds back because striving for good results have always been the ultimate goal. You're correct, these elite clubs are opportune to be on the lists because they've become one of the very tough clubs, proven themselves.

Uff, maybe it is a competition for teams that seem to be mediocre but have an ace up their sleeves. If you remember how Sevilla did in the Europa League or how once Porto did when Mourinho was the coach, these teams were nowhere on the planet considered the favorites in these competitions, but they won it. Statistically you are right, the Champions League doesn't really give good reasons to think that an outsider would win the competition in the end, but I still think that there is only a vague definition as to who counts as a a non-favorite team and a favorite team. This season there are a couple of teams that I am not sure about what to think of them. But I will find out soon and that's what makes this season exciting once again.
406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: January 17, 2024, 11:22:09 PM
On current form though I will have to say both clubs will definitely be heavy favourite to win it. Other contenders can be Bayern Munich who I think they have improved since the arrival of Harry Kane although there is still an imbalance in that midfield and defense of theirs that against a better opponent they will suffer against if they don’t find a solution to it
Real Madrid and Manchester City and Bayern Munich could qualify for the next round, although in a way that may not be so easy, because the three teams are actually still equally strong when facing opponents who are not quite on par with them. However, after the round of 16 was completed and the round of eight began, that's where many predictions and speculation were born from many people who would say which team had more potential to win the title this season in the Champions League.

Winning the first european trophy for Roma is impressive, but if we consider the funds spent in his time including wages offered to the players Mourinho vetoed; it can be considered a failure at Roma, inability to get top 4 places in the serie a and finishing 6th for consecutive season had its toll; the repeated player power struggle meant it was time for Jose to go

A top manager; a top coach; hopefully he finds a better adventure soon
It's understandable to evaluate Jose Mourinho's tenure at Roma based on financial considerations and league performance. But Mourinho's success in securing Roma's first European trophy is a significant achievement. Winning a continental competition is a testament to the team's capabilities and Mourinho's managerial prowess. This success should not be understated, because it adds historical value to the club's achievements.

Mourinho may have faced budget constraints, and the ability to secure a European trophy amid such challenges is a testament to his managerial skills and ability to maximize resources. The struggle to secure top-four finishes cannot be solely attributed to Mourinho's management. The league's competitiveness makes consistently achieving high positions a formidable challenge for any team. Mourinho may have faced challenges in managing player dynamics. While finishing 6th in consecutive seasons might be seen as a setback, Consistent performance in a competitive league requires a comprehensive analysis beyond the final league position. Building a team and implementing a managerial vision often takes time. Abrupt changes may hinder the development of a cohesive squad capable of consistent top-level performance.

The financial constraints have probably played a big role in the overall decline of Roma's lack of accomplishments in the last few months. Every time they got a little bit closer to a strong level, the decline in their performance was literally inbound and I think these little setbacks every single time made everyone tired and Mourinho's words weren't of the same impact anymore.

For everyone involved I believe getting in a new coach is the right decision and perhaps it is still the right time to do it. Half of the season has been played and there is still something to be done about their final position. If they waited 10 more weeks or something, then all hope would probably be lost by then. Rather give it a shot now.

This is a very interesting approach and I only came to find about this a moment ago. I need to study the whole thread first and see what people had contributed, but I wonder whether you were able to already draw some conclusions for yourself?

When events are independent from each other and purely luck based, why do you think you could add some structure to the "data" by infusing some entropy?

I did some research for myself on the relation of entropy on fundamental analysis and technical analysis in trading. Since we have news incoming everyday and according to the information efficiency hypothesis these news have an influence on the price, I wanted to see how the impact of the news decrease in significance by giving the news an entropy parameter. For instance, "China bans Bitcoin" today is not causing as much entropy as per the information efficiency hypothesis as it did a decade ago. But I am not yet done. My point is that there is probably more likely a reproducible way to include entropy into some formula as it is in a purely luck-based outcome environment.

You said chaos comes in waves for the casino, but are you talking about individual users or the entire user base? Because how would it be possible that all players choose to bet either low or big in a certain period of time?

with a really strong 24!!! points, casperBGD secured the last matchday win of the first half of the season and won a free bet on sportsbet.io
~snip

can't complain about this round, five correct scores from nine games
but overall, best pick was M'Gladbach yesterday, expected Stuttgart to choke without Guirassy, he is obviously too important for them to be left out
they didn't needed that overtime third goal, would make six correct scores this round, but certainly happy about the round

congrats to morvilz7z for a half season winner, did my best to slips late winner, but difference was just too big

Yes indeed, 24 points was also a massive jump in the table for you and I am slowly but surely losing sight of the top players. Could need a few rounds with 24 points as well! Wink Making up for 26 points in the remaining 17 points isn't impossible, but it's tough as the competition isn't sleeping here. Looking a bit better for me in the German pool, but not much.

I saw that casperBGD and efialtis are the only two players with 3 max matchday points. What's crazy is that efialtis didn't play on 6 matchdays! Played 11 and won 3, if he kept that average it would have given him 9 matchday wins, ugh.

Hey liebe Leute,

Oh wow! Me and mv1986 have only two different answers. It's the first one which will settle today (and I hope that Croatia will win as they are leading 5-3 in the first quesrter). The second is the last question so we will have to wait to see who wins it. But whoever wins today is sure not to lose this round.

Hey slackovic, only now did I find the time to really follow up on some of the things, but it was a close fight between Croatia and Spain obviously and ended in my favor. I usually wish my opponents the best of luck, but wasn't around as here as I would have liked to. So I'll make up for it now by wishing you good luck, but

@Harkorede, good luck for this round. An important gameday for both of us. I will either widen the gap between us or we will enter into some tough competition until the very end Wink

There were a few tough questions that needed a bit of research, but let's see where this goes. There are a few important duels at the top as well. This round could really set some at the top apart from the rest.

@vd309 your goal difference is still insane! You don't have to worry about a tie on points I guess.

414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone else know there is an Insured BTC wallet? on: January 06, 2024, 10:56:41 PM
I just found this place, it says it's insured up to $50,000. It's just astonishing that after all this time this is the first place that does that. Called bankofblockchain.us Insured against hacks, why isn't this a standard for pete's sake. I just feel everyone needs to know this.

You are giving out a tiny piece of information that on its own means nothing to be honest. Now I am a bit too lazy to dive into the research, but what do you mean by "insured wallet"? If they get custody of your Bitcoin and make a promise what will happen in case of a hack, you could still end up with empty hands if there is no sufficient way for you to verify whether this company is financially healthy enough to pay out everyone who might have lost something. This insurance thing can only work if they take your Bitcoin and hold it for you. Otherwise they would bear the risk of idiots losing their Bitcoin or getting outright scammed because proving that you did not get hacked when you claim you got hacked is impossible in many cases.

I assume they take a monthly fee then or something. Everyone should really consider whether it is worth a fee or whether they should educate themselves and use Bitcoin the way it is supposed to be used and supposed to serve its users. The point of Bitcoin is that there is NOT a third party involved when your assets are concerned.

If they provide a wallet that is supposed to be insured, there is still the risk of using it in a wrong way or being reckless with backups and passwords. Sounds like a weird service to me.
415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin fees and how we accept its volatility on: January 06, 2024, 10:15:51 PM
from this it can be concluded that changing bitcoin fees should not be an obstacle to bitcoin adoption.  For those who transact Bitcoin with small amounts, it's a good idea to pay attention to the time because you will definitely find the best time to process your Bitcoin transactions.

Yeah, Sending transactions in advance with low fee works well on me. I usually use my Bitcoin on gambling purposes by the time the transaction fee is high. I usually set my transaction fee to lower rate and just wait it to confirm after 2 to 3 days when Bitcoin fee slow down.

The fee is now stable to 50sat/vB in average which is good but I doubt this will continue on weekdays since Bitcoin ordinals hype is still active until now due to the Bitcoin highly speculated ETF approval that makes Bitcoin chain still popular for traders that wants to have a hype profit.

I don't know when and why this ordinals hype gets another push again. It seems to be coming in waves most of the time, but what triggers these waves is what I don't understand. If anyone has a clue, I would like to get a glimpse of what is going on and why so many ordinals are being pushed onto the blockchain or broadcasted.

Setting a limit for the transaction is good if you have the time to wait for the transaction to be confirmed, but it is painful if you have to send something now and it is stuck in your wallet. I think it can make sense these days to have some liquid crypto in a coin different from Bitcoin. Once the fees are high, swapping is also expensive.
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if all Bitcoin is lost? on: January 06, 2024, 09:14:52 PM
It's lost forever and there's no way to recover it. That's it. The Bitcoin has a limited supply and it's not like paper money that they can create unlimitedly. I think there's a lot of lost Bitcoin, as per my simple search on google, it stated that there's at least 13 Million Bitcoin that is lost right now it's worth 565 Billion USD, I'm really surprised when I found out about it. I was hoping that at least I could have 100 Bitcoins from those lost Bitcoins.

13 million Bitcoin is quite a lot though. I am really surprised if it is true. Leaves me thinking what will happen if even half of it is recovered. I think it’ll be a dump because most people will sell it off to solves financial challenges or invest in other things. 100 Bitcoins is too much, 1 Bitcoin is just okay for me.

And OP, it isn’t possible for all Bitcoin to suddenly be lost. Not even gradually, considering that its value is too much to be played with.

It isn't true. I don't remember right now where there is a reasonable number calculated and published about the total lost Bitcoin, but it is far from the 13 million mentioned here. When you search for that number of google, what mostly pops up is something in the middle single-digit millions. Maybe something between 4-6 million although I think it is still not solved to a degree that it could be said with certainty that we are talking about millions here.

Some of the reports of these guys who threw away hard drives suggest that some of them alone supposedly threw away tens of thousands. I would assume this did indeed happen a couple of times.

But not all Bitcoin will ever be lost in the sense that people lost their PKs. I think there would be a highly positively correlated scarcity - security ratio. The less Bitcoin there are, the higher the price if all things are equal and the higher and stronger all the security requirements.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your predictions for the state of Bitcoin in 2024? on: January 06, 2024, 07:30:45 PM
Since 2022, the value of Bitcoin has begun to fall. Following that, 2023 was a much worse year; in late 2003, a new version of Bitcoin was released. Furthermore, the market is gradually improving and stabilising. By 2024, we expect a slow recovery from our Bitcoin downturn. In the near future, it will also bring us good news. Things will get better with time. Do you think Bitcoin will be superior by 2024? Please share your thoughts.

Unless some weird things happen, everything should grow in favor of Bitcoin. The infrastructure, the user base, the number of parties watching Bitcoin closely, the number of people familiarizing themselves with Bitcoin, the number of countries legalizing it, the wallets generated and many other things that would all be supportive of the Bitcoin network. This does not mean the price can't drop, it can as we have seen several times before. Despite overall growth of many of the important metrics, the price can do its own thing, but I think only temporarily. In the long run metrics will align with each other, price included.
418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 06, 2024, 04:58:39 PM
Real Madrid is too structured and too consistent with their results. They are playing a sharp style and they know they need this one goal to take home the victory. Yesterday I was absolutely convinced that they would score this one goal against Mallorca and the thing about Real Madrid is that this time it was Rudiger and not Bellingham or Vinicius Junior. They have all these strengths to score. A corner or a free kick and then a header and game over. Who would have thought that Real Madrid has the best defense after 19 gamedays?

On the probabilities I can still consider Real Madrid to have good luck in some tough games when they can win them. Real Madrid did not perform well in several matches, mainly because they failed to take advantage of their goal opportunities, but as an experienced team, Real Madrid tends to be able to win even if they have to try many methods until the match ends.

I see that Real Madrid always has difficulty winning matches when the opposing players manage to lock the game of Bellingham. Mallorca, Alaves and Atletico Madrid did it this season, but Real Madrid won the match. But I think Real Madrid will soon lose points in the next match considering how difficult it is for them to win in the last few matches. Opposing teams will discover their weaknesses and this will have an impact on Real Madrid's final match results and their title race.

But that is what I mean when I said they are too structures and too consistent with their results and it won't be easy to push them from the throne. I do exactly get what you mean because sometimes it seems to be close and Real Madrid could be dropping points and yet they win all those games. I think it isn't only luck, but it is their understanding of the game. It could go wrong at some point of course, but most of the time they understand how to patiently finish the game and score that one decisive goal in the right moment. For as long as they keep doing this, it is tough for the teams behind them because it feels unfair, but that's what they have to accept and try to keep winning their games.

Yeah this is also a fact about Real Madrid maybe but it is of course still hard to overlook their high effort just because of that. Besides even in VAR's presence now the referees make a lot of mistakes. Especially in the English Premier League I have seen unbelievable mistakes made by VAR referees honestly.  Grin

Manchester City will need De Bruyne and Haaland both on the pitch to increase their chance for a back-to-back title. These are their key players now and without even one of them their job is much more difficult.

Absolutely correct and having both of them back on the pitch would really be like a savior for them when they next round in the Champions League is about to start. Their game isn't as compelling for their opponents. They look as if they have vulnerabilities without Haaland and De Bruyne and opponents feel and see that. Both of these players can create a whole new dynamic and variability for their game, hence they are missing. Both of them are really urgently needed.
420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We dont own enough bitcoin on: January 05, 2024, 10:35:10 PM
The thought and belief of not having enough of something brings forth the constant pursuit of that object. Thus, acting as if we never have enough of a resource will allow us cognitively to always be looking to acquire said resource and then eventually this will lead to a surplus, right? Gosh I hope so! Becuase I sure need to get more BTC and I don't have enough!!!

I was just watching a youtube from KITCO NEWs with Gary Cardone. Thats right, Gary Cardone NOT his asshole brother Grant Cardone LMAO!!!! Gary had a lot of great things to say that were extremely logical and bullish. I'll put the link in here later.

If we have this mindset then we will always be trying to get as much of it as we can. Lets face it, getting BTC is at this point more rewarding for the average person than buying Real Estate, Gold, Silver, Oil stock, etc. Lets keep stacking! I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH, WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH!!! STACK SATS!!

Who would ever have enough of an asset. that is destined to increase in value long term? What does enough even mean?

There are all kinds of opinions and this does not only mean between different people, but one and the same guy might have two opinions depending on whether Bitcoin is currently on the rise or not. I have heard people saying that they missed to sell their bag and now Bitcoin is getting dumped and about to die. A few months later the same people said they regret to not have bought more during the dip. The thing that was said to be dying yesterday is now just having a short bad period and is soon coming back from that dip.

It is quite normal to feel the desire to own more of something that is going up in value, but if you have some Bitcoin, an amount that relative to your living standards could change something about it if you hold onto it for long enough, I think you did not miss the train. But there are others who really missed the train and are still hesitating. That's really bad.
