401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex exchange just added Monero Markets and removed LTC markets on: July 24, 2014, 02:13:51 PM
XMR devs must of payed a lot for this.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC/BLK) | PoS | Multipool | Coinkite | WSJ | BlackHalo on: July 24, 2014, 12:37:48 PM
I just think the price has to do with people pulling btc out of mintpal, i read somewhere that the era of mintpal is over and most of BC volume/support came from within Mintpal.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | First Coin With Private Encrypted Messaging | No premine on: July 24, 2014, 12:16:05 PM
thx for reply

but swish, do you really think i didnt try to simply restart wallet ?! lol
you re really funny

yea i deleted the blockchain and i redwl it
i have no choice Sad

is there a commande option like-salvagewallet for cinni wallet ?!
because transaction such isn't present. Probably the wallet didn't create it therefore it is necessary to restart a wallet simply.

Transaction Not Found

yea transaction not found    but 3k cinni are gone
that's the problem ...
So i'm a little crazy right now !

I had +-1100 CINNI missing after I had to restart my wallet, I tried restarting a few times and even using the blockchain.dat file provided by cinblo and using the resync command and still nothing has worked.

Since yesterday I started redownloading the blockchain and I am currently 65000 blocks away from a total resync. I will confirm if the total resync worked, if not then I will be selling before I give my final update and write off the loss in price and CINNI coins.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | First Coin With Private Encrypted Messaging | No premine on: July 23, 2014, 07:22:33 AM
I  don't know, I just left it importing and did another work, gone back around 2 hours and it was ok. So no more than 2 hours Smiley

Thanks it worked like a charm. Smiley

For some reason now that it's sync'd I am short +-1100 CINNI.

Try restarting the wallet. One of my wallets yesterday shows it has 99k coins after stake but there was only 89k. After restarting it a few times it self corrected.

Thanks for your feedback!
In any wallet to rescan the block chain for missing wallet transactions you can use -rescan option.
CinniCoin-qt -rescan
Let me know if works for you.
Best regards

Hi Cinblo,

Thanks for the above suggestion but it did not correct the situation, I will now try redo the blockchain from scratch and see what happens.

Hey Guys I am getting a error when opening the CINNI client now.

MinGW
Assertion failed!

File: src\kernel.cpp, Line 389

etc etc

Anyone seen the above?

So it appears my blockchain file got corrupted, so having to re download the blockchain.dat file again. Does anyone have the addnode text I can use to speed up the process?

Try this one:

Why is the trade volume so low?

Unknown exchange.

Even on bittrex the volume is peanuts.

edit: hmm well i guess it is proportional just cus the small market cap.

Don't worry about volume too much, the coins with high volume imo mean people don't care about holding onto them and out to make a quick buck. 95% of the altcoin market is controlled by a few "cartels", these "cartels" are even in bed with the online crypto media and exchanges.

To find a coin like NLG that is not part of the above is hard to find.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: While others were working on anon, NLG brought out Guldenpay with Hardware on: July 17, 2014, 04:48:37 AM
This is the only alt coin I trust right now and you can see why. It's not a scam coin so won't be part of any PnD, just gradual price growth. This team is amazing... for people that are tired of being fucked over by alts with no future and left for dead. This coin is a really good bet.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NLG] Guldencoin — Meet our awesome community! on: July 16, 2014, 12:40:51 PM
I was thinking about making an NLG t-shirt for myself.  Could be a good conversation starter.  Didn't know if something like this was already planned.  If not, and the developers are cool with this, any chance they can make available some high res art?  I ripped the logo from the guldencoin twitter page.  maybe host some high res art at docs.guldencoin.com?  Not sure if I like the colored sleeves and collar.. more retro I guess.  comments welcome.

hopefully this link works: https://i.imgur.com/ZliSVGe.png

guldencoin.com/images

I wanted to recreate the Apple Employee shirt with that logo in the middle of the shirt. But do a blue shirt with a white Guldencoin logo. Or a Superman-type thing, haha. Haven't done this, but have thought about it. It's a great idea. But look at the link for larger images than your freshly Twitter ripped logo Wink

or something like this guldencoinwebshop.com

Dont forget to vote Guldecoin @ Mintpal

Mintpal stops voting system... see post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=554412.msg7816583#msg7816583

how are we going to come on mintpal, if there can not be voted

I think if this rate continues we will slip in before 1st September

Mintpal is introducing a new voting system from 1st September where the coin that has the most votes in a week period gets added or something to that effect... I think it's because you have a lot coins that were popular at one stage that have died out and now they high up on the list but no point adding them.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NLG] Guldencoin — Meet our awesome community! on: July 16, 2014, 03:55:08 AM
lol, what I love about this coin is that by the time everyone else wakes up it will be too late. I feel blessed to be a early adopter and will make a plan to come visit the Netherlands next year, keep the merchants coming !
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | Encrypted Messaging | Privacy | No premine on: July 16, 2014, 03:38:55 AM
ps, my prediction is that we will likely see rynom releasing some totally new coin for the cartel (likely using some psuedo account and the BC cartel will pump it heavily).
It will likely be a ASIC/multipool immune algo-switching coin that likely changes algo every X number of rounds or something, and requires a special miner like the nicehash miner to be able to mine it.
I was pretty sure that Roulettecoin was going to be this coin (it still could be) but I'm not 100% sure.
Whenever it does come out though, know for sure that they will have to figuire out some way to hustle the majority of coins under their control long before they ever decide to pump it, and they will exploit you for every single dollar that you can be exploited for.

This is probably one of the reasons coins like NOBLE got attacked besides the fact Rofo told the story how it is about 90% of the coins being scams.

I know the following coins aren't part of the cartel or should I say the Devs that don't bend to the cartel, Digibyte, Noble, Vert, Pot, Guldencoin.

To me it looks like Cinnicoin was the PR guy and all he can do is establish a coin logo contest while he prays one of the original devs comes back to help out. The truth is if these devs have dumped out
already they not coming back.

However only 1 coin out of the above has a chance because they not getting initial support from whales and that is guldencoin because they are taking it mainstream.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NLG] Guldencoin — Meet our awesome community! on: July 15, 2014, 06:46:21 PM
I am personally done with other alts, I am just sticking to btc and guldencoin now. Lost some btc on CINNI as devs did not deliver.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | Encrypted Messaging | Privacy | No premine on: July 15, 2014, 06:44:03 PM
I am out aswell, lost 25% but better to lose 25% then 50%,75%,95%

Just going to stick to BTC and guldencoin from now on.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mintpal hacked (VeriCoin) on: July 15, 2014, 04:45:46 AM
Quote
1) We lost a considerable amount of VeriCoin in the attack, however we have been working with the VRC developers and all major exchanges to hard fork the coin at a position before the attack. This will allow us to retrieve the stolen coins and facilitate all withdrawals. We are also working with various exchanges to accommodate any losses they may encouter as a result of the required fork.

This is a problem right here. Just because it's stolen does not mean they should be able to arbitrarily reverse the hack. If they're successful at hard forking, this will set precedence that any time there is a theft reported, devs can just hard fork again. This will eventually be abused, and corruption happens.

agreed and this reminds me of the BTER / NXT hack other day and the JPC / Allcrypt hack the other month.

on one hand i think we gotta play by the rules.. bear with me on this lol

Ok so we have a lawless market right ?
Then in all fairness it's to the exchanges to run their business how they see fit period.
BUT
I don't like what these guys are doing..
I myself think if they stole the coins then oh well they are stolen and that is the end of it.
Hard forking a coin or other dumb measures is undermining Crypto bit by bit.

a lot of negative precedents are being set more frequently and unless Regulation is put in place and fast i am getting out of this shit scam pit of bullshit scene.

edit:
This shit is getting out of hand..
It also reminds me of Cryptsy getting hacked for Points couple weeks back..
A guy exploited the exchange and dumped Cryptsy "Points" down to about 4 sat's
The exchange rolled it back but guys got fucked over because they sold other coins to buy up cheap points..
so Cryptsy rolled back the changes on points leaving anyone that dumped their coins earlier kinda fucked over.. as i was told by users who did this.
AND the guy who hacked it popped up after a week and i had a little chat with him and turns out he robbed the place for a bit more than 89k usd after cashing out.
He was laughing his ass off asking me directly what he should spend it on.

Crypsty was not hacked, and no funds were removed from site.  We did have a bug that was exploited in the points market, but it was quickly found and corrected. No funds were removed.

There are 2 new alt coins that are really trying to be real, NOBL and Guldencoin - NLG. It's the only 2 coins besides btc I trust right now.

Exchanges so far bittrex has impressed me a lot, I probably would use Cryptsy if they added a Guldencoin - USD pairing in the future.

The truth is when it comes to exchanges they add the coins who are backed by the richest scammers and coins where price is easily manipulated. AKA PoS coins with 5 million and under supply.

Cryptsy would still need to add Guldencoin to there exchange for NLG/USD pairing. I agree though it's one of the hidden gems amongst the cesspit called the altcoin market. Adding coins like guildencoin gives legitimacy to this environment.

I'm quite new to the whole crypto world. Have other coins recovered before even when the 24 hour volume has become low like Cinni right now?

Apparently Darkcoin was trading at 3-5 btc/24hrs before it ramped up to what it is now.

I suspect BC and Cinni will be due for a pump.

Just sent my first CINNI to the wallet, I am very impressed with the features so far. It's way above many other coins I have looked at and the price seems extremely good too atm.
