We say to the end of the week ending date of IPO This sounds good! Do you have a rough ETA on the launch of openBETA or launch? I definitely think NXTL is right on track and could end up being H U G E!
I was just pointing out an easy way to at least cut back on some of the bogus sock puppets stakes - just removing people who registered and then proceeded directly to this thread would put a huge dent in the number of multistakers.
Skillroad - since NXTL isn't really a clone of NXT, have you thought of maybe changing the name? I'm sure we could all come up with something awesome (and then nobody would think of this awesome project as just a clone of NXT). I think the fact that it is being built using nodejs is awesome and something that should definitely be advertised!
The First idea of NXT Lite was to cover the issues that NXT originally had, to make a coin that is more optimized in terms of accessibility and fairness! But since they changed the technology, they've thought about a major rebranding! But currently all the resources are focused on the development of the coin itself so appearance comes last. But i personally think that once we finish with the IPO and officially launch as a coin we might get a new Name! Probably will decide in a community vote, to be fair. Next generation cryptocurrency platform built on Node.js Here are some other options for the name: harmony unison interbit hub cast syncd My fav is Node with the tagline mentioning Node.js. If you don't like these, I can certainly come up with more. I encourage everyone to contribute so the community can vote. Nice ones! I do like the idea of "Node" simple and easy to remember, not to mention that it sticks to the core of our system! Not just one! First of all: its written in node.js - a modular framework, absolutely from scratch! The main idea of this cryptocoin is to slowly merge into a PPS Payment Processing System, something like Paypal, Western Union. One of the most highlighted features as a coin, is the ability to put a password to your transactions! Basically it removes the Escrow Need, so you can easily sell your coins to anyone without a need of a third party! This are a few of them the rest you can find at the first page! It's pretty easy to tell the true sock puppets - there are people who just post here and then never post again. If someone has less than 5 posts (their post in this thread plus up to 4 garbage posts) they should be removed.
I don't think account creation date should matter though as that would also exclude some legitimate people who want to be a part of this community.

This doesn't mean that we are not taking in consideration the fact that sockpuppet exist among our members! We are trying to come with a formula that well let us highlight them! A few of those possibilities are: - Manually checking their accounts, post, during the duration of the ipo! - Contacting them for opinions and contribution; - Responsivity and dedication; - Also we intend to raise the member fee, at a point, to make the users that create multiple accounts and try to get more than it applies to our policy reconsider their decision. - Also we have other ideas that will be implemented at the end of the IPO I will keep you updated down the road. @Skillroad. All you need is a post count of at least 10 and have joined before the start of the IPO. Sure there will still be some that are prepared sockpuppets but it would get rid of 90% of them. You delaying this simple action makes me and others im sure wonder if you are happy to just take in sockpuppets. Don't forget the coin was supposed to be against the unfair nature of NXT. If you get one or two guys with 30+ stakes with less than 1000 total you will have some big stakeholders just like NXT.

- Payment with a security code (new function)
How does it work?
When you transfer the money, choose the option "security transfer". After sending the money, the system will "security code". This code you must inform the recipient. Only when the receiver will indicate the code then be able to complete the transaction. If the code is not mentioned the money back to the sender

Yes the language is a little bit buggy! This functions is to prevent uncorrected use of money! Ex. you send 1Btc but to a wrong account... ups! and normally you will loose your precious btc! But in the NXT Lite's way in order to accept a NXTL sum you will have to enter a confirmation code (if the sender requested to code the transaction) that will enable you to get the NXTL! Ca-Ching! This is a great feature in my opinion, its something that you don't normally need if you know whom you're sending to! but very useful when you exchange coins without a third party involved (no more escrow rip-off). |
