401  Economy / Reputation / Re: Would you tag these users? on: January 13, 2024, 12:27:01 PM
You weren't tagged for changing your staked wallet address. You were tagged for excessive shitposting and spamming the forum with low-quality, AI-generated content.

I guess you have missed what this user offered. He said that his posts are not AI-generated. JollyGood didn't gather any evidence before he tagged that user. We have seen many false positive reports when we check AI content. Everyone should have their investigation before they conclude. The user refuses the allegation. Now, if you have evidence of AI posting, show them. I have checked the post-JollyGood used as a reference and it's a human text.

First things first, I didn't actually tag anyone here.  I was just trying to clear up where the confusion came from.  I agree, it's real important that we don't go accusing people without proof.  And we should definitely look more into things before pointing fingers.  If someone gets wrongly accused, they can always speak up to defend themselves.  At the end of the day, its up to all of us to decide whether or not we trust what someone says.

We talked before about those AI detecting tools and how unreliable they can be sometimes.  They can flag human-generated content as AI-generated.  Or the other way around too.  But just cause someone figured out how to trick the system doesn't prove they aren't using AI or some other techniques to pump out content fast.

The main argument is, can you leave negative feedback for shitposting or AI-generated content? You shouldn't do it. If you see a shitpost, report it to the moderator and they will handle it. Leaving negative for shitposting or AI content isn't the proper use of the feedback system.

Now I could see JollyGood's typical behavior. If he has nothing in his defense, he silently watches the discussion. Seems like he doesn't give it a fuck. It's like, I did what I did. If you can do something, go on. I wasn't expecting that from you, my friend.

It's plain as day that the user in question is a shameless shitposter.  I think we can all agree on that.  Does he deserve a negative tag for all the excessive shitposting?  I suppose that's up to each person to decide for themselves and, personally, I might start a reputation thread first to see what others make of it before going the negative tag route.  But the fact is, he's already received a few neutral warnings, but those obviously didn't work.  The negative did.  So there's that.
402  Economy / Reputation / Re: Would you tag these users? on: January 12, 2024, 12:27:54 PM
I didn't know changing old staked wallet address was a red tag offence, didn't read it anywhere.

We can just abolish any so-called "ban evading" rule because it's useless in any case.

I disagree. I believe that those who commit plagiarism, perhaps unintentionally or unknowingly, deserve a second chance to redeem themselves. It's a mistake that can be corrected.  However, this doesn't mean that every banned account should get the same treatment.
405  Economy / Reputation / Re: What is going on??? on: January 11, 2024, 09:20:36 AM
If the hack happened for using the same password and teleporting the account then only the admin/moderators of that site may know the password.
I read the word "teleporting" several times, and it turns out to be something offered by a shitcoin forum. Are people dumb enough to share their password with them for extra "perks"? If so, that's not even a hack, it's just giving it away.

No, that's not how it works. Not even the shitcointalk admin would be that foolish to put its members at such risk. To "teleport" your account, all you need to do is to use the same username and add a link to your altcoinstalk profile on your bitcointalk forum profile (e.g., under your website link) to verify ownership.

But I guess there might be users who are "dumb" enough to think they have to use the same password too.

As for forum admins (or mods) knowing your forum password, that shouldn't happen either. Generally, passwords are stored in a database in a hashed format, which makes it difficult to reverse back into the original password. However, this doesn't mean that people should blindly trust every online platform to have honest intentions.

It's not a good practice to use the same passwords on different platforms
Don't be subtle: it's stupid Tongue
Get a password manager, don't store your password database in the cloud, and make regular backups. It takes a while to set up and change passwords for everything, but it's worth it.

I agree. Also, use 2FA wherever possible.
406  Other / Meta / Re: Request: Delete my account on: January 11, 2024, 08:36:19 AM
To the disgusting mod, admin whoever you are.

Childish behavior. Grow up!

You have deleted 6 of my posts and 1 thread.

Anyone's post can be deleted if they don't follow the community rules. What makes you feel so special?

By doing this you have successfully harmed the community and it can no longer be trusted. Number one reason: The posts were not breaking any rules.

Your posts were spammy. By posting them you were harming the community. Maybe you should read those forum rules again?

Request: Delete my account 100% or tell me how to do it myself.

Accounts cannot be deleted. You can abandon it, of course.

Wtf happened? Is this some kind of joke? Someone should sue the SEC for market manipulation. Amateurs.
The SEC is going to sue the SEC for market manipulation.

What can someone do if a crypto wallet is compromised but the wallet owner is staking on such wallet still? The APY is coming in but we both curious how possible it can be to get the staked token after the period of staking is over, without ending with the hacker or whatever is fit for the drainer to be called.

If your friend's wallet (or private key) has been compromised and there is a sweeper bot set up that will automatically send all funds to the hacker's wallet, it is best to just abandon the wallet and create a new, clean one.

I don't know if there is actually a way to beat the bot manually, because in order for your transaction to have priority, you have to either be faster than the bot (which is impossible) or put a higher fee, which will probably be too expensive.

Also, check out my response to a member on a similar issue last year:

I've noticed that many members claim there's no solution when dealing with a sweeper bot that automatically executes transactions. However, I came across information stating that it is theoretically possible to create transactions that can perform both functions at the same time - funding the address with ETH to cover gas fees and withdrawing tokens from the address. Such a transaction would be executed in the same block, thereby preventing the sweeper bot from stealing the funds.

I'm not expert enough to provide you with precise instructions, but you can read this comment on the Ethereum Stack Exchange to learn more: https://ethereum.stackexchange.com/a/112099

Quote
You are in the correct path. MEV can do this for you.

You can use MEV to submit two transactions with the following properties:

Either both or none of them go through
They should be executed in the same block, next to each other
The first one adds Ethers to the wallet
The second one transfers the assets out
You pay the miners directly in Eth, disregarding any gas fees
The transactions are not broadcast publicly, but are sent privately to miner(s)
You can use Flashbots to accomplish this. If the total value of the assets is big enough, you can ask their whitehat hackers for assistance. Or you can do it yourself with their tooling, which requires some developer know-how.

Pozdrav ljudi! Evo mene nazad sa bullom Cheesy

Pozdrav! Dobro došao nazad.

Interesira me da li postoje i dalje bountiji?  Huh Huh

411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please have look my crypto properties reit idea on: January 08, 2024, 01:36:25 PM
The idea that you can buy with just 1000$ Investment literally 30 000 000$ apartment it's unique.

The idea is not so unique, but unrealistic. Simple question - if I invest in $1000 worth of tokens and get $30,000,000 worth of apartments in return, where does the rest of the funds come from?
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please have look my crypto properties reit idea on: January 08, 2024, 12:57:04 PM
With my idea you can do same with any coin or token it's like pegg the commodities or assets with cryptocurrency.

Tokenized real estate isn't exactly a revolutionary concept. There are already several established REIT crypto tokens in the market,  and your project is unlikely to stand out or outperform them.  Why do you think your token will be different or give a better investment opportunity than these existing options?
413  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Blockchain vs Platform vs Chain on: January 08, 2024, 12:14:57 PM
If that is the case, why not just log into Binance and trade one token for another?
What's the difference?

JailHouse, I appreciate your curiosity and I understand you're trying to join the conversation about crypto.  But some of your recent questions make me think you aren't really looking to learn and  they seem pretty basic - for example, with just a quick Google search, you can easily find out the key differences between centralized exchanges and DEXs in a matter of seconds.

If you really do want to understand cryptocurrency, I suggest doing your own research first.  That way, when you discuss it with others later you'll have more knowledgeable questions and comments to bring to the table.

I don't mean to assume the worst of your intentions.  But the way you've been engaging so far doesn't totally sit right with me.  I get the sense there's another reason you're posting so much.  Maybe you want to push an agenda? Or just mess with people?  Anyway, I think with some more independent learning, you'd get a lot more out of these forums.
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on: January 07, 2024, 11:09:25 PM
I guess it depends on whether the casino is being fair or not.  If they've got some provably fair algorithm that uses random numbers to decide each game, then nope - no way to beat that.  The whole point of RNGs is that the results are impossible to predict.

But yeah, if the casino is shady and messes with the outcomes, then sure maybe their algorithm or whatever could be analyzed to figure out a winning strategy.  Like if they just re-use certain sequences of random numbers, then you could spot the pattern.  That's why the legit places make a big deal about being provably fair - it proves the games aren't rigged.

As long as its truly random each time, there's no beating it through math or anything.  You might get lucky for a bit, but probability always catches up in the end.  Unless you count card in blackjack - that's using your brain rather than an algorithm!  But they'll kick you out quick if you get too good at it.

I wanted to be sure that this is the right place to propose this.

If it's an altcoin (term generally includes all cryptocurrencies and tokens that are not Bitcoin and not related to the Bitcoin blockchain) you should move this to the Altcoin Discussion or Announcements (Altcoins) board. This board is specifically for discussions about Bitcoin and Bitcoin-related topics.

I didn't mean to imply Miners, I should of just said "Man, Him, They".

Then why don't you change the wording in your post to avoid the impression that you are deliberately spreading misinformation and unconfirmed claims?
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Uniswap reaping people off on: January 07, 2024, 09:44:53 PM
Are DEXs suppose to be more costly normal centralized exchanges?

Yes. DEXs like Uniswap are almost always more expensive to use than centralized exchanges.  That's mostly because DEXs work differently behind the scenes. They use an automated market maker (AMM) system to match orders and let users directly trade with each other using smart contracts instead of a company's servers.  To make those automatic trades happen, the network needs to use more computational power and that costs more in gas fees.  So while DEXs give people more control over their money, that freedom isn't free.  You've gotta pay the price with higher fees.  Whether it's worth it depends on what you value more - privacy and control or cost.
419  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: List of escrow services on the board? on: January 07, 2024, 09:05:13 PM
I wonder if there is a current list of users offering escrow services on the forum?
By searching I could found some posts but they are years old and some users on the lists are no longer active (e.g. Shorena).

I believe you might find this thread helpful. It's maintained by @tranthidung and provides an updated list of forum members who offer various services, including escrow services:

Really, OP?  You're just going to drop this vague job post without any details about it?  No one's gonna hit up a total stranger on Telegram without knowing what the job is.  I mean, would you?  If you're serious about hiring people, then you need to put in some effort and actually provide some information about the position. Otherwise, don't bother.
