401  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is cryptocurrency bullish in the long-term on: July 26, 2021, 11:12:15 PM
Buffett said, never depend on single income, make investment to create a second source.
Investment is very important, and now more and more young people like to invest in cryptocurrency. Why are they so optimistic about the crypto market and how do they analyze and profit from it?

Many millionaires and Billionaires today didn't make it to that top list because they focused on a single income, they combined one or two, made money from them and invested in more to amass more wealth, that's how it works in real life.
Hold much and more bitcoin if you have the source and power. Buffet though, has never been a fan of bitcoin and doesn't have plans to hold it in the future but why is everyone still want him aboard still surprised me because he isn't even the richest, we need people like Bezoz online.
402  Economy / Economics / Re: Why don't banks work with cryptocurrency? on: July 26, 2021, 11:04:35 PM
Banks have the means of injecting large liquidity to market slowly without anyone just like the way SpaceX was silently buying and accumulating bitcoin until they later made announcements and then everyone jumped in for quick gains.
However, central frown at banks activities in bitcoin because they believe they are very important to the society and doesn't want them to risk customers saving into bitcoin or Cryptocurrency since there is high chance of loosing the money and the bank may be liquidated the moment they can provide cash to customers.
403  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do most cryptocurrencies rise and fall together? on: July 26, 2021, 10:57:10 PM
Op, you forgot Newton law of motion. Its applicable to anyone or situation which says "for every action there is equal and opposite reaction".
When everyone is buying, the price tends to go up but as soon as everyone start selling, it will surely fall back and if that is done aggressively with fear, it might even be worse than buying because the whole thing might take uturn as in this case of rugged pull of hack.

Never trade with Cryptocurrencies, I would be learning to trade Forex and I am still on the verge of leaning the Forex.

Why are you now in crypto, are you here for the knowledge or you have another agenda purposely for bitcoin?
404  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: July 26, 2021, 10:51:18 PM
In my opinion everything has its pros and cons as well as the covid-19 pandemic has made the economy or life of many countries worse, even spread and killed a lot of people, but If after the pandemic will make people grow stronger, like closing one door, another door will open and after the rain the sky will be bright, our future will definitely develop. develop. stronger and constantly growing.

When you weigh the merit and Demerit of covid-19, the latter surpassed the first. There is no way someone will just wake up one day and start writing the added advantage of corona virus to economy.
Since I was born into earth, I never for once think we will come to something like that's similar to world ending.
Some economy are still struggling to recover from corona break and finding it difficult to increase production.
There are still country who are face with challenges of having free movement till now because they fear the spread might trigger the communication.
405  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easier to HODL if you are already rich? on: July 26, 2021, 10:44:56 PM
The amount you are using as an example are even high for an average person.
One of the reasons why I didn't made much in the just last ended bull run was because I was inpatient. I was doing that not because I didn't knows that there may be higher chances of going upper but due to the fact that I was broke and I needed money to fund my self. So, I sell at every small I see in the market but on doing them, I get to realise that to enjoy Cryptocurrency, you gave to hold continuously until when it's so pump before one can think of selling them.
I'm into that journey right now. I have some coins I'm willing to sacrifice for long term.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Beginners Guide to Bounty Campaigns on: July 25, 2021, 11:00:14 PM
this is a very good hint. because the explanation is very complete. bounty hunters desperately need this clue as many bounty hunters, especially newbies, do not understand the actual rules to follow. especially in communicating with campaign managers in group telegrams. I hope many bounty hunters read this thread. because surely there are many bounty hunters who will continue to provide advice in this thread.

The forum was never created to accommodate anyone to make money. It was purely to encourage people and just a privilege to make some cash from doing little task.

Some users will just create an account and their first post is either spamming or living some line of proof Authentication for some hunting which is really bad.
I have learned that the forum is more than what we all think, very inviting and not tiring at all
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thorchain why was it hacked? Review. on: July 25, 2021, 10:50:32 PM
It is a very unfortunate event, Imagine a platform that was hacked 2 times in two weeks? I see some red flags about it, I'm also not an expert but it has some motives that continuously playing in my mind, I don't understand why the developer took the risk when they already know that the platform was already compromised that's suspicious to me, although they already clarify it. But still many people are not contented with the reason including me. Just an opinion!

But despite the hack and attack by hacker, people are still buying and I wonder the kind of mind some traders and investors possess. That's kind of stupid risk, not calculated one.
I didn't see this attempt coming towards Thor chain but I think the developers should have put a stop at disabling everything during the first attempt but they resume immediately as if nothing happens.
The hacker even made a gest of them saying line of codes doesn't need to be rush, they need to be reviewed, verified and carefully audited. It's painful to loose money this days and I felt bad for those affected.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income on: July 25, 2021, 10:41:25 PM
For me staking ETH for ETH 2.0 is much more promising since this coin has very strong fundamental since more than 5 years ago. $CAKE is quite new and could be just another hype coin in bullish market back then. So i think for long time passive income, staking ETH is more profitable

Cake are just a price high coin that's probably pump by early investors and traders. Must of this coin that are hype and overpriced are perhaps due to the people behind it.
There are some situation where one of project team may decide to create his own token. The thing is, once users knew it earlier, they will all jumped because of his previous performance from the project.
Now this guy's are so patient and believe and before you know it, the project might start pumping.
One must be careful with all this crypto when it come to alternative way.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What goes up must come down on: July 25, 2021, 10:30:07 PM
The price of cryptocurrency is down accross board and I believe this trend will continue until market correct itself! This is going to be a long journey and cryptocurrency traders and investors should prepare for this long winter! It will be easier for those that took profit from the market ath! Those who do not take profit will have to wait it out or find a job to sustain themselves!
Sorry but I think it depends on how the influence drives it price. When you think that market sentiment is dieing, some influencers would just ignite the market and then it will start pumping. Though I have observed that despite the external influences, the market still look bearish but that doesn't make it bullish. The institution wouldn't want there investment burn and be at a loss.
There is high hance that the market may rebound to the upside if the news momentum news keep coming. Traders and investors are now move by Elon and others.
410  Economy / Economics / Re: What role will Bitcoin play in the face of superpowers in the future? on: July 24, 2021, 04:53:17 PM
If the time comes that it will become a legal currency then how about the fiat currency of each country? Will it be replaced then?

Or they may say bitcoin will become an "alternative and legal currency", and it will be the other choice for payment system aside from fiat. Government still doesnt want decentralized system and that makes it more complicated because as we all know, government wanted centralized system that can be controlled by them.

Let's try to stretch out some points.
Decentralization, of course no government of any nation would want to adopt anything that they cannot have sovereign authority over. It will be fastly rejected upon submission except if it might help generate huge tax to their pockets  Grin Grin
Perhaps, it might become a store of value, as a means of exchange might comes with terms and conditions and I.e if the receiver might want to accept but I don't think it will be compulsory rather an option.
Fiat replacement? Perhaps if every country has a possession of in equality I their treasures otherwise that dream will never be actualize and accomplish.
411  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin for everyone on: July 24, 2021, 04:45:29 PM
Bitcoin is really for everyone in which means that even the poorest can have a single amount of bitcoin in which they can buy over the wallets or exchangers and etc. This means that bitcoin is really for everyone and not only for rich people. Bitcoin stands for the people so they can acquire it anytime and anywhere in which it is very accessible.

It's seems you are only considering your own jurisdiction. You are not viewing the whole thing out of your environment.
Someone can be rich and be an illiterate and may be poor and still be. Literate. Its not everyone one that has no knowledge about bitcoin and to implement it, the nation need to know what they are using.
Now, what about those that didn't go to school and cannot read and write?
Have you considered places where there is no internet?
One of the qualities of money is to be simple, bitcoin might simple for an average literate but illiterate mind find it been complex.
We shouldn't compare bitcoin and fiat, they may possess some similarities but they aren't the same.
412  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor and middle class as a mentality on: July 24, 2021, 04:38:18 PM
being poor or rich is one of the cycles of life but how we get results and can be happy with what we get is not measured by how poor or rich we are, but what is clear is trying to make money honestly is a behavior that many middle class people do while rich people tend to deny this

There are rich people I believe are honest and pure in their husle. It's not every successful person who indulge in dishonest ways. Though, it's really tasking to maintain the level of success especially when you have attained it peak.
Some people are equipped with knowledge, they even have the resources to project their self into that level but the stress of maintaining such status comes with challenge.
I believe no one want to be rich today and call broke tomorrow that's why some maintain their comfort zone and don't explore further.
413  Economy / Economics / Re: EU wants to ban crypto anonymous transactions and wallets on: July 24, 2021, 04:31:35 PM
I think this has to do with platforms who deals directly with verified users and they want to know their every move.
I like my country here where the financial institutions are forbidden to run Cryptocurrency payments and transfer between clients through banks. They have close down deposits and withdrawals through many exchanges we have been using as means of making swift deposit and withdrawal.
The only option we have been given is p2p, where even the banks wouldn't know the particular transactions are for crypto settlement.
I think EU citizens should go fully on p2p and shun the silly Government.
414  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is key to the future of Twitter, Jack Dorsey says on: July 24, 2021, 04:26:55 PM
An average person knows that bitcoin can be integrated into any company especially the IT industries, but what if bitcoin doesn't really move like it does? Perhaps it's fundamentally decentralized but functionality as stock market where you hardly see moves.
In crypto market, bitcoin can do +20% within a day and there is absolutely no one that will question that and may like not make big news headlines.
However, if Dow or S&P500 makes 10% in 24hours, it will sound like the world has seen a big fortune.
I'm curious if they will adopt bitcoin with stock functionality but the gain has welcomed everyone on board with Cryptocurrency.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking on: July 23, 2021, 06:42:24 PM
My friend, it seems you don't know how the market work but my little advice, never borrow to invest in crypto, you may end up in jail because things may likely not go the way you want or predicted.
What happens when the project fail?
What happens if the price plummet?
What happens if cake get cake/hacked. Thundercore has been example the past few weeks.
Crypto investment comes with high risk, you should invest something that will not cost you much incase the opposite happens.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where Are You Next 5 Years? on: July 23, 2021, 06:35:13 PM
In the next 5 years, I hope to hold more cryptocurrencies besides Bitcoin. These are the majority of my investment. Also I will  continue to make my own career planning,to buy more houses and land.

My kinda of plan. I want to hold more coins if things become worse with the market. The whole market is like a building with cracks that's about to collapse and it seems we are only hold down by sensational Tweets by our darling Elon.
I also plan to porsue my career as an engineer to offshore and if it eventually works out, my salary will go along whale to provide liquidity to crypto market.  Kiss Kiss
5 years is really long enough to change to bring the adoption everyone has been wanting all this while.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much of your total capital is in crypto? on: July 23, 2021, 04:26:45 PM
Have you ever calculated how much of your total capital is in cryptocurrency?

In my case, i have 60% of my money in bank accounts, 20% in stock market, 5% in cash and only 15% in crypto.

I have just 2% hanging in my savings because I don't want to risk it been close. My fear is that, I have used it to conduct many Cryptocurrency transactions and presently, bank transactions that involve crypto are been suspended.
My entire fund is in crypto, BUSD particularly. My prayer, I pray and hope nothing happens to Binance in future otherwise I will be doom and have to start a fresh.
It's been a smooth ride giving all to crypto though.
418  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Bank of Nigeria to launch digital currency Oct 1, 2021. on: July 23, 2021, 04:23:01 PM
Jokes and jokes. Another format to lunder money. They want to go digital and government operations are still manual simply because they are find of mismanagement of funds meant for this things. Give it sometimes, the news will soon fade away like other great headlines.
Anything fintech about Nigeria that's not private, don't take it serious. Look at NIN, till date they couldn't print out national identity for people and there is yearly allocation meant for those things and budgets annually.
They are only concerned about election, power, and corruption.
419  Other / Archival / Re: El Salvadorans are not happy about accepting bitcoin as a means of payment on: July 23, 2021, 09:26:05 AM
Bitcoin might be a good hedge fund against inflation or as a store of value but good to handle the economy.
Let all be honest for once and tell each other the truth, it will not work as money perhaps stable coins might even be close just the way Chinese digital yuan is been regulated.
Just imagine, bitcoin fell by - 50%, how do you handle that within a short period of time and long bear period.
Perhaps, if they have accepted bitcoin when it was around $10, they would be happy now not now that it has overpriced.
Microstrategy isn't a country.
420  Economy / Economics / Re: What event could trigger new bull run and ATHs? on: July 22, 2021, 04:22:59 PM
Most of the price drop is also due to whales buying and many people selling at low prices, once the target is reached I think the price increase will start, because the good news about BTC is also weak. decide on that.

You mean whales are buying and Btc price is sinking. What kind of analogy is this?
The whales or should I say market movers are out already and they all waiting for the weak hand to dump their Sat so they can buy back at very low price. Who knows if they are responsible for the media manipulating bitcoin holders.
The thing is, if bitcoin dump today, it will be pumped back by the same people, that's how market works.
