Manchester City has successfully to gets Rennes player Jeremy Doku it say they have to spend approximately 64 millions to gets this player and why Guardiola want to bought more players at forward position because after Riyad Mahrez leave then there was a vacant position so he want to buy at least 1 new player on that position and in the near future Doku will do medical check at Manchester and Jeremy Doku is a De Bruyne recommendation because both teams has been playing at Belgian national team but besides that Guardiola looks very impress to his performance during playing at Rennes so Guardiola feel Doku will be suitable for team needs
I am aware that Manchester City have agreed and sealed in a €60 million deal with Rennes for Jeremy Doku this week, medicals now scheduled and booked for Wednesday. The supporters of Manchester City are thrilled about this news. Manchester City have been involved in several deals this summer and many did not pull through, this is a good one and one to be excited about.

The Saudi league is becoming even more competitive by the day. Is it just me or have the Saudi clubs are even getting better and better. I have been following their games and I’m very impressed at the quality of football there. They only really needed a big signing like Ronaldo to bring them to the limelight. I heard about the bid from Saudi football federation to be included in the UEFA champions league competition. I would love to see this merging of two great continents. It will bring about more fair play rule to regulate transfer businesses but I am not sure these Saudi clubs are ready for that.

A good way to kick off the season for Juventus, this win should be a morale booster for the team for the coming games. I have a feeling that Juventus will perform better from last season. They look prepared and ready to go head to head against other top teams for titles this season. Allegri is an experienced coach, the club have faith in him to deliver them this season and comoete for trophies.

Tottenham are really doing well even without Harry Kane present in the team. I feared that Tottenham will struggle so much after Kane’s departure but so far this season they have showed improvement from the first game of the season. Keeping a clean sheet against Manchester United and winning the game is a resounding display of how solid the team is. Pape Sarr was also impressive in that game as he made attempts and scored the first goal of the season.

I think if Chelsea can't win against Luton Town this weekend, then Pochettino is really under pressure.
Pochettino and Chelsea are under more pressure than they would have loved to be so early on in the season, two matches played and they have scored just two goals, conceded 4, and have only 1 point; that is not the sort of start that the fans would have hoped for. Having said that, Chelsea know that the only option in their next game is a win, and i think the fixture somewhat favors them, they should easily get a win against newly promoted Luton Town on Friday, the game is also in Stamford Bridge, which gives Chelsea more advantage.
The EPL is a very competitive and difficult league but many manages have come and succeeded in the league, Pochettino is no new comer and has much experience from his time coaching Tottenham before moving away to PSG. He is a good coach, he should be given time at Chelsea to put his team together to compete in the league. I believe he has the zeal and ideas to succeed at Chelsea.

𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Mason Greenwood will leave Manchester United with immediate effect 🔴⛔️

Few minutes ago,  Fabriso posted that Manchester United have decided not re accept Greenwood into the squad.  We are all aware of thr difficult time the young Manchester United player have been facing. Despite that all charges against him was dropped, Manchester United was able to welcome him. Though they said it is a mutual understanding but I feel that Greenwood deserved a better treatment. But then I know that Greenwood will give his best to any club that hires him in this trying time. What he needs is to be signed and be provided with some psychological help and he will deliver.

It is really sad learning that Mason Greenwood will be leaving Manchester United this soon because even as I am not a United fan I was a fan of Mason and enjoyed watching him play in United shirts. I really anticipated his return to the team to fight for his place, it’s so unfortunate that he will be parting ways with his boyhood club after United issued a statement today about his departure, I wish him all the best.

Yesterday’s match was interesting as both teams were trying hard to outdo each other on the pitch. I followed the game until the 76th minute and I must say that Arsenal look better this season. Mikel Arteta has stepped up his game this season with new strategies to pursue the league and new additions who are making impact already. The boys should good composure last night especially after getting a red card, they didn’t panic or lose focus rather they stayed together and defended their one goal lead until full time.

Verratti isn't wanted by PSG in the squad anymore. There is a small time period left for European teams to sign him though. However PSG should still be comfortable that they can find a team for him from Saudi Arabia. You know that Saudi Arabian teams are signing everyone these days. Why wouldn't Verratti be one of them?

I don't think the player will turn them down either while he can't find a European team for himself and he can earn much more money in Saudi Arabia. I think he will also join the players going there soon.

I think it is about time that we see players like Veratti leaving PSG because looking at the age group of players PSG have been signing it is obvious the club is building for the future and is interested in only young players. After the departure of Messi, Neymar, Sergio Ramos, it is expected to also hear names like Veratti leaving in same fashion this summer but Veratti’s departure will depend on the club’s willingness to strike a deal.

In addition to Al-Ahli, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are also speculated to be interested in signing Verratti. If this is true then I wonder what he is thinking about his future. I'm pretty sure that none of those European teams can offer the same contract conditions to him with Al-Ahli.

While there is a situation to make much more money Verratti might take that path I think. I mean that he just needs to be very competitive for European football to reject a much bigger offer. Especially Bayern Munich's offer might be more attracting to him than Manchester United but I feel like he will choose money just as many more players have done so far.
Everyone is moving to Saudi Arabia for the money, Saudi clubs offer very good deals that can force a player reconsider his options if initially he wasn’t thinking of moving to Saudi Arabia. I expect veratti to move in that direction, he is a very experienced player and I believe Saudi clubs will want to offer something huge for his service.

After the poor performance of Harry Maguire in Manchester United and many personal mistakes from his player in many games in the last season, Manchester United tried to put Harry Maguire for sale and finally, they tried to sell this player after years. West Ham sent the offer and wanted to hire Harry Maguire but he asked for too much money from Manchester United for leaving this team and now the case is closed temporarily because of that.
Harry Maguire made another problem for Manchester United and now after him not leaving Manchester United they can't hire Konstantinos Mavropanos.

Harry Maguire has grown to be a problem for Manchester United, they have been trying since last season to dispose off the 80million worth defender. After being close to making a switch to West Ham days ago, the whole world expected Maguire would be in a new club by now but it seems that Harry Maguire is bent on remaining with Manchester United and fight for his place in the team..

Manchester City have achieved several milestone this year, they have achieved winning the EPL trophy three times in a row, won the champions league for the first time in their history and now won the Super Cup for the first time in their history. They deserve it because they have worked really hard to come this far. Congratulations to the Citizens.

Isnt it better to invest early? Most tokens or coins grows in the end. At least for the better projects. If you are gonna invest a bit later you cant maximize the potential profits youll get when that token price soars very high. Not all projects can bloom like bitcoin ethereum and other tokens but we all knew that investing early could be a game changer when the project explode.
I think what OP is trying to say when he said "Do not invest early", is to not invest when you barely know anything about cryptocurrency and only proceed when you have done your own research and know what you are doing. I mean, it would explain the second part of his post.
He should have added more context so we don’t misunderstand him, adding a few more lines to the OP would have cleared the air. IMO investing late has its own disadvantages because you may find yourself following the bandwagon and often times this is when the price is at a high point causing you to invest out of fear of missing out.

Ive stayed away for the last few years, but im back.. I see a lot of old but wow, so many new faces...Bitcoin sure has come along way since I opened my first account here in early 2011..
I would say it’s been more than a few years. Welcome back to the forum, your account is an old one. It’s nice to see an old member being active here. Though I don’t think this is the right board for this kind of message. Reputation board would be a better fit for this sort of topic. I’m curious, why now? It’s bearish season, it’s quite odd that you would remember your old bitcointalk account in such times.

This prompted me to ask these questions;
1. What is shitposting?
2. What should we check out for in a post, such that when we see it we can confidently call the post a shit post
3. Is there any difference between shitposting and spamming?
Shitposts are posts that make no sense and usually have no relevance to the topic being discussed. That’s why they are regarded as low value posts. There is a thin line between shitposting and spamming. You will find this thread very interesting;
Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny

May there never come a time in bitcointalk where spammers and shitposters get paid to post, it will be a hell of work for the moderators.

Don't invest early
Terrible advice, would you rather invest late? Those who buy a coin late usually end up getting rekt. It’s more profitable to invest early and hodl to see a bull run. We saw how successful early investors in bitcoin are, it can be said that investing early is the best strategy after doing your research on the project.

Do not trade to soon

This is because you are new to the crypto market so you may have an idea of getting rich quick but that is absolutely zero quota.
I would like to encourage people to come here and then research crypto. Then you can get an idea of when and how you should proceed.
Agreed. It’s not advisable for newbies to venture into day trading without having sufficient knowledge of the fundamentals of trading. Crypto trading is so complex that watching YouTube videos and reading books online do not do enough justice to the subject. I always recommend the easy and safe strategy, which is buy and hodl bitcoin until the market rises above your buying price.

Leandro Paredes has been introduced by Roma as their latest signing and he was signed from PSG for a very small fee of around 4 million euros. Previously, Leandro Paredes was loaned to Juventus since last season, but when this season started, it seemed that he was not included in the plans of the new PSG coach, namely Luis Enrique. So the opportunity to leave PSG was wide open and that's where Rome started moving to bring him in. However I think Leandro Paredes is a good defensive midfielder and as long as the team manages him right he will continue to show consistency in his performances. Next, we will wait for the announcement of another player from Roma, namely Renato Sanchez, who also came from PSG with Leandro Paredes.
Congratulations to Roma for finally sealing  a deal with PSG for their player. Paredes has been admired by Mourinho and it a good thing that the club is backing him up to get his preferred player choice. Renato Sanchez has also successfully joined the club this summer, Mourinho is grouping a set of strong midfield players to strengthen his midfield options for the season, this is really good for the club to help them grow to the next level.

Mohammed Kudus is in demand from Brighton, West Ham and Chelsea. He is a 23-year-old Ajax player. Position as a forward with 18 goals from 42 matches. Not too bad, but he deserves to go to the EPL because he's still quite young. He can still improve, although he is a player who can be in several positions.

Source: https://www.transfermarkt.com/wanted-by-brighton-west-ham-and-chelsea-how-good-is-ajax-star-mohammed-kudus-/view/news/426489
Mohammed Kudus has been linked with several clubs, first he was mentioned to be linked with Arsenal, then after some days he was linked with West Ham and then Brighton and yet no deal has been said to reach advanced stage until now. When deals stall like this, there is a tendency that the player will remain with his current club, could this finally be Kudus fate after much rumors and speculation going round this summer? The next weeks before the window closes will decide what the outcome will be.

This weekend Manchester City will fight against tough team Newcastle and it is very interesting to see the results of this match because we all know both teams had positive results at their first match in Premier League and i know based on meetings statistic Manchester City is more good than Newcastle but i think currently Newcastle is different that they looks very solid and since last season Newcastle has been change became an strong team and they can able reach to top 4 and last week they had just humiliated Aston Villa with huge scores 5-1 so obviously Newcastle is in the good shape especially since last month Newcastle status is still unbeatable so i think Newcastle have a potention to make Manchester City to slipped
This will certainly be the match of the weekend when Manchester City go head to head against a Newcastle side who demolished Emery’s men last weekend in a 5-1 showdown. This is a really tough one for Guardiola in the weekend that will require every player to be at their best to at-least get a point out of this fixture. I will be rooting for Newcastle United to finish victorious against the league’s defending champions.

It's suprising that Ronaldo and Messi at their age are still trying to break more records with there present teams Messi has score 7 goals for Inter Miami and would need about 27 goals to become the all time score of the club thereby toping Higuaín, while Ronaldo at Al-Nassr has scored 17 goals and would need about a 109 goals to top Mohammad Al- Alshalawi and become tge all time scorer for Al-Nassr.
I think it would be very easier for Messi than Ronaldo because he's much younger and could still play for 2 or 3 more seasons for Inter Miami making it very possible and easy to score about 27 or more before he finally retires for playing, but Ronaldo is older and getting 109 goals he has to score about 40 goals or more in a season and due to his age i don't think he could get up  to such amount of goals or play for 3 more seasons at Al-Nassr, however despite his age he still looks very fit and his feet still delivers strong shot even though he doesn't get up to 100 goals i believe he could attempt getting about 50 goals or more for Al-Nassr before he resigns from football.
It will be easier for Messi not because he is younger than Ronaldo but because it is a much more easier task to beat 27 goals than to beat 107 goals, this is something both players can achieve in a season even in their current age but it will take Ronaldo three or more seasons to get that at his current age so Ronaldo has a more difficult task ahead if he plans on breaking the club’s goal scoring record. Still I wouldn’t put it past him, any thing Ronaldo sets his mind to achieve individually he does it as long as he is fit enough to play.
419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: August 16, 2023, 08:08:25 PM
The first week at the top of the La Liga table did not belong to Real Madrid or Barcelona, but it belonged to Atletico who beat Granada 3-1 at home. Since the early minutes of the match, it was very hot and we often saw the two teams commit fouls against each other which ended up getting a yellow card. However, at the end of the first half, Atletico were only able to score a goal through Alvaro Morata.

In the second half, Granada equalized the advantage through a goal scored by Omorodion, but this did not last long and that made Atletico continue to attack, resulting in two additional goals scored by Memphis Depay and Llorente. It seems that Diego Simione is very pleased with the performance of his players and this result has established them on a positive path in the next matches.
The league is just at the early stages of the session and there are so much drama still yet to unfold, in the next 6 weeks the league table would have taken a mew shape and we will see which team has stayed consistent for the 7 weeks of the season. Now every team is geared up but for how long can they maintain ghjs momentum is the key factor to consider lol and I am not in a rush to start pointing fingers and making predictions but I give credit to Atletico Madrid for a good performance and being able to get the result in the game and hope they can maintain the standard in the next fixture.

Before the game, a lot of comments here were about how easily Manchester United were going to beat Wolves but that wasn’t the case because Wolves had the entire game in their hands, but their failure to convert their chances made them lose the game. Manchester United were lucky to convert one of their chances through Varane’s header to get the winning goal. With the way they played yesterday, if United had played against a stronger team, they would have definitely lost 5 nil.
