The real issue with people here is this. "Why did anyone even bother funding this project if you can now buy waves tokens for almost half of its ICO price?" There is NO logical reason for anyone to be content with what way the investors who funded this project and gave it its ability to develop have been treated.They have been shit on due to this very fact "Anyone who did not contribute is now rewarded while those who sacrificed their liquidity(mainly smaller investors who put their last cent in)have had their investment decimated"
These are the facts and this is the reality.
Can't disagree with that bud.If I hadnt bothered contributing to the fundraiser for this project myself I would have almost twice the amount of waves I have now.Its a kick in the nuts alright.We have truly been pooped on so far. |

So how about we get a killer app and mobile wallet and get going with this. XBC seriously needs its foot on the gas. I don't mean to sound like a prick but the time is now...not 10 years from now. Every single day there should be movement forward. I spend 16 hours a day growing what I have planted...that same amount of effort should be spent on XBC on a daily basis. Let's get going with this.
Here is the thing, and I don't mean to sound like a prick... no dev is going to put 100% of his heart and soul into this without funding... and I'm not talking a few hundred dollars, Im talking about a few hundred btc... Also, I'm afraid that even IF you were to get the funding to be able to pay the annual salary of just one full time dev, it would take a LONG time to develop something from the ground up. That's just the development, not testing, r&d, pr, sites, or post production needs... My 2 cents... try to look at humanitarian options. I think that the masses would be more willing to donate their time and money to such a project... Y am I still here?  ehehe ..good to see you dood |

There are good developers out there but not interested in working with a coin with bad distribution on the blockchain.Yes if the funds are available for team anything can be done by them as money talks in the end.The humanitarian stuff may be a good cause and maybe journalists in despotic countries could be a niche user base or something like this.XBC needs to have a niche market in order to compete.If you cannot mass produce a product like large industry you must concentrate on quality high end. I forgot to thank you for that referral to landomata about his nxtty app and if there was some way we could work on something with him but he is busy with some projects at the moment but I will hit him up at a later stage again.I am not sure it is exacly like what xbc was looking for but it seems innovative. |

This is easier said than done TBH.We have been back and forth with over a dozen developers and countless pm's sent with conflicting points of view regarding the application of what was proposed.Issues range from compatability and scalability over time where we would need to add parts to make a whole package. We just dont have the budget right now to start work on something that may be overkill even though it would be a very impressive piece of work if it was doable. We were looking at just doing a basic version that bits can be added to later but finding the right platform to build on is also and issue.Many hours have been spent on research and discussions on xbc behalf so its not like nobody is doing anything but we have real lives too to deal with. |

Stellar is a coin that does not seem to care about all the greedy investors. They put their efforts in delivering fundamentals. These fundamentals are as good as ETH or XRP. That's why I bought.
And please give away more Lumens, if it helps to increase the adoption.
And without investors how does it raise development funds exactly?Without traders how does it have liquidity?etc etc... |

Is XBC the real Bitcoin? That's the question.
The greatest problem for many is the dispersal where there seems to be not enough wallets online showing a not large community presence.Of course a full time developer is needed one who has great ideas that can be rewarded from the staking wallet as the price increrases to incentivise his/their work but with some good mobile version that can have the messaging and all other gadgets that geeks and mainstream people can practically use and a more decentralised vision xbc can become very valuable but without the sufficient volume and support on exchange it will not be on coinpayments etc.Shapeshift is vital or other useful services to attract people to use it practically. XBC can be overhauled anytime in anyway that the community wants budget allowing of course.Any developer is welcome make a pull request or propose any idea they want here or on the forum etc. |

Is anyone having issues with their waves client?I withdrew mine from bittrex a few days ago and opened the client today only to find balance zero where it returns momentarily only to disappear again.When it reappears I try to send it back to bittrex but it says insufficient finds and error2?

Has it been forked or what the fuck is going on?One of my wallets show zero balance also and some of the recent deposits dont show up on the blockchain either.

AFAIK we are still looking at getting a mobile wallet developed but there needs to be some research done on electrum server regarding compatability with our set up.
