No Catholic voting option?  I guess my vote is mute.

That would fall under Christian.

This could actually make it possible for even more people to own a smartphone. And if it's good I'd totally consider that to be my next phone (I'd probably install Ubuntu on it though. If there's a stable version available of course)!

You can instal ubuntu on a phone?
They're currently developing it. It's not stable yet though!
http://www.ubuntu.com/phone

When is it being released?

Check this out - http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/technology-science/science/woolly-mammoth-found-frozen-siberia-2041039

"The baby female was found frozen in Russia so well-preserved scientists have even been able to extract blood flowing in the body"

I don't think that this is going to be successful. The DNA, blood and tissue are already tens of thousands of years old. Even if they are extremely well preserved, they might not be good enough to clone a mammoth.

How long does dna actually last?

There are planets with dinosaurs that we are able to visit.  All you must do is believe.

Statistically speaking, it might be possible, but we cannot visit such planet, not even in the next Millennium if we survive our own self destruction

i want to "visit" mars.  for a period of 2 days.  i don't want to STAY there.  is this possible Branson?    Huh

Watch Total Recall instead.

OP, your problem is very common and very obvious; you don't make enough money. Seeing as you live in a socialist country, you can either 1) Kick back and let the nanny state take care of you or 2) Find a way to make more money. There's no "trick" to solve this problem for you.

Where did he say he lived in a socialist country?

Grin Grin He'll make a great CEO someday

He was a CEO. Doubt he'll be one again.
Yeah, I meant the kid. Maybe he'll start a crappy donutcoin exchange.

Is there a donutcoin? lol
410  Other / Off-topic / Re: How, in the end, do you think the world will end? on: April 26, 2014, 12:50:14 PM
What makes you so sure? Thought you said technology moves fast?
It does, indeed, but for these things it is not moving fast enough.
You would need some sort of gun/laser whatever which would pulverize the asteroid completely (else the debris would also do a lot of damage). The governments need to invest more money in R&D for these kinds of things.

Why not land on it or throw nukes at it?

Yeah that's the movie Armageddon lol.

Monday to Friday at all but from Friday to Sunday is the most important thing in the world  Grin

Why's it so important?
412  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible to create a real live Jurassic Park? on: April 26, 2014, 12:35:30 PM
Some of the Russian scientists tried to recreate Mammoths from the frozen corpses found in Siberia. But they failed in their attempt, as the Mammoth DNA was damaged beyond repair. So I believe that while something like this might be theoretically possible, it will be almost impossible practically.

So suspended animation probably wont work then lol.
413  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much of a role does alcohol play in your lives? on: April 26, 2014, 12:27:59 PM
doesn't play any role, I'm free-addiction.. Probably I'm not, but I like to think so  Tongue

Sounds like you're not that sure lol
414  Other / Off-topic / Re: How is your personal debt and savings ratio? on: April 26, 2014, 12:18:06 PM
I also have zero debt. Only a few k in savings though.
415  Other / Off-topic / Re: Religion Poll on: April 26, 2014, 12:10:03 PM
Where I live people get more surprised if you ARE religious. About 65% are members of the church though, but very few actually believe in god. And religious groups are very respected and not looked down on either.

Getting confused here. If they don't believe in god, then why should they maintain their church membership? Is there any advantage of being a church member? Or do the non-members face any discrimination?

Maybe a bit of both.

417  Other / Off-topic / Re: Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. WTF? on: April 26, 2014, 11:54:26 AM
not even any slight clue on what happened to the plane.

Of course we have clues. We dont have much evidence to support our hypotheses, but
we have a 777 disappearing over the 3rd largest body of water on this pale blue dot..

Occam's Razor

(if you want the paranoid version, it was disintegrated in midair,
as it was used as a target for the anti-missile lasers Diego Garcia is equipped with.
None of the passengers were harmed,
they all were transferred to the dark side of the moon,
and will be used as workers in the much-anticipated
Mars Colony - Bitcoin Accepted  Grin )
No we basically don't know anything. We have no evidence nothing.
For all we know, a rift in space and time could have opened and sucked the plane in.  Smiley

Sounds legit. A satanic rift in space and time?

419  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst Movies You Have Ever Watched on: April 26, 2014, 11:29:41 AM
The first movie which comes to my mind is After Earth. Went to watch the movie with such high expectations (and I don't go to movie theaters that frequently, may be once every three months or so). And know what? I fell asleep after almost 30 minutes. Such a big let down!

This movie was created ONLY so son of Will Smith could play in this film. I have seen trailer of this and I really thought it will be some good piece of Sci-fi. Instead it was the greatest disappointment of 2013.

It wasnt terrible but it was pretty boring.
