I hope that all makes sense. It is a new concept, and I'm sure some things will need tweaking, but over all, once tuned in, this should be a very valuable asset for Seedcoin.
It sounds great, the question is, how do you get the ball rolling? SEED is essentially dead in the water right now in terms of volume/liquidity and general awareness/care about this coin. I agree with this to a certain extent. The volume/liquidity is absent because there is no one selling their coins. This could be due to the 16% staking, and may change when it halves to 8%. I know that 90% of the coins out there are struggling to get the majority of their supply off of the exchange. Seed has less than 10% of the coin supply on the exchange, with the majority of that belonging to only a couple wallets/people. If someone were to come along and start marketing Seedcoin as the long term investment that it is, a lot of things could change. I am confident that most people holding Seedcoin right now, are, and will be holding for a long time. If we all play our cards right, this multipool can be looked at like an incubator for other coins. Rent some Seed wallets, point them to your coin, and enjoy the climb. +1 i hold my coins and not planing to sell them

Looks like the massive dump today may have been the cryptodouble ponzi scheme fraudsters dumping all of their ill gotten gains.
Please explain this cryptodouble in details.

I don't see any progress of DSH development in the past months. Isn't it supposed to just clone bytecoin development? It is a clone but with some features. As i know creator of this coin is 2 independent dev with no any connections to bytecoin.

I have to delete the blockchain and redownload from scratch. I understand the procedure to delete all files except of wallet.dat Nevertheless when I open wallet.dat I receive following message: 'Adobe reader could not open 'wallet dat' because it is either not a supported file etc...' It is also not opening with Word or tekseditor. Same with my wallet backup. When I open it with an alternative, with Word, then all strange symbols appear. I therefore am afraid to lose my keys. What to do? Can anyone advise me? I have my wallet on a recent MacBook. Maybe just don't bother the wallet.dat, just keep it as it is and start redownload? Btw it happens to all my BTC/Alt wallets
Thats because .dat file extension is associated to open with adobe reader. http://www.thewindowsclub.com/change-file-associations-windows Google is your best friend

WTF? Bittrex is closing trade for this coin?
This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on January 2nd unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.2 BTC.
They changed their policy a few months ago to de-list coins faster and more aggressively. Are there any miners in this SEED community? Jumbucks has a multicoin multipool at http://mp.getjumbucks.com. SEED support would need to be added but if there are miners that point there gear at the multipool, that helps to bring daily buy volume to the coin. So that helps to prevent delisting. Let me know your thoughts. Obviously it sucks if a coin is delisted from an exchange. POW is ower for SEED

I have been closely watching block generation and the money supply. I do not see any major issues. I have acknowledged some minor issues that popped up during testing. These bugs will be fixed AFTER I have implemented a portion of the RPC interface in the coming weeks so please do not report them. In approximately five hours I will update the topic appropriately and lock it. If you wish to stay informed or have any questions you MUST use the official forums as I will only be using bitcointalk.org for major releases. Please read this thread, the website and the white paper BEFORE asking questions as most answers are already available to you. Also keep in mind that this is NOT a clone of Bitcoin, Peercoin or any other crypto-currency and as such it will not behave like them or have the full feature's that they do out of the gate. Lastly, this is beta quality software and you should not expect everything to look or behave as you would like. Thank you for your support. NO, thank you for something new on altcoin stage. This coin have bright future

sent 29 coins after 3 retries , still problem with unspecified error I just sent you 900 coins successfully. Thank you for your support. Ok, that was you So release date is final 23.12.2014 ? just wondering how dev could send more than 300 when no one else could? what is causing the error? If you scroll up you can read this: Sending large amounts of coins directly after staking MAY throw an error and is a known bug that I discovered in the Peercoin code, it will be fixed after launch. The good news is that Vanillacoin has auto-wallet recovery that runs 30 seconds after launch and every 24 hours thereafter to recover any coins that failed to send due to a possible "double spend" scenario. There is no need to run manual commands to fix/repair or recover a wallet as with Bitcoin and Peercoin. My intent is to make Vanillacoin "plain simple".
