PSG has more goals than Lens, so if for example Lens wins and PSG loses the next match then they have the same points but PSG are still on top. Unless PSG loses big and Lens can win big, then it's possible that Lens will take over at the top of the Ligue 1 standings.
But even so, it will not be easy to maintain a position at the top of the standings because of course there will be greater pressure. But besides that, at this moment the top three teams are very close in points gap, so the slightest mistake will result in their position being taken over.
First of all, I do not think that PSG is going to lose the next match. It will actually be something interesting to see PSG lose consistently. But I highly doubt that is going to happen. And another thing is at the same time it is going to be hard for Lens to be consistent enough and give PSG a hard fight throughout the season. Because they simply do not have the squad that PSG has right now. I am not saying that Lens are a bad team. But if we compare the strength of both teams we have to say that PSG is going to be the stronger team. But right now Valencia is playing badly so I am actually going to give this match equal priority to both teams.

Manchester United would look for a new striker in the summer anyway. Because Weghorst is a temporary player in the team now as he has been loaned until the end of the season. Of course Manchester United can change their mind and decide to keep him for longer. But it depends on his performance in the end. Manchester city is in no way a successful team as far as the champion league is consent. Manchester city as always qualified for the champion league and also partakes in it every year but has never for once been a champion. CIty has won none in this competition. The performance from city is really weak. Being qualified for the next round didn't mean city will be winning the trophy. City was participating in champion league so many times but yeah chelsea is even better in this competition rather than manchester city. City was just a team that specialized on the domestic league. It can't compete in the UCL. City is still far from good in UCL. A bunch of money didn't make city can win UCL instantly. City was almost making it but Chelsea was far better compared with city. Too many problems in Juventus recently especially related to the -15 points to them. This is a big points to lose because of the management's mistake and I'm sure it affects player's spirit. The other possible effect is that they may lose some of their main players because it is now harder for them to be in top 4 at the end of the league. Some players who want to play in UCL may leave them at the end of the season and it may also affect their current performance. Juventus have been having even before now, their results in games have not been too impressive. Juventus is not stable, sometimes they play better and at times games seems to be very difficult for them. Dortmund are the ones that benefited most from today results they managed to beat augsburg in a home game to claim the sixth position but the fact that they conceided three goals make us wonder if they will be able to get a european spot, alot of teams seem in a good shape so if they make any more mistakes and lose easy home points they will regret it in the end of the season.
Dortmund was almost losing against augsburg. I meant the second half is having a very high tension. How lucky dortmund caused by its players who have been able to making another goal that was making the scores become 4-3. The second half was unbelievable. I meant augsburg and Dortmund become offensive and both were doing all in to make the goals. Glad to see that dortmund has managed to create another goal to get full points. Dortmund must try to learn how to make its defense become even more stronger. How difficult for Dortmund to beat Augsburg in the last match. The second half was a heard breaking. Dortmund just escaped defeat from augsburg because it wasn't easy for them. The both teams were so difficult to each others in making goals. Crystal Palace vs Newcastle United Full time Newcastle United tried all their best to make sure that they won the game but Crystal Palace was not a team to just shy away so the both side struggle ended in draw. I also don't want to be fascinated by Manchester City's squad too much. I believe they have the best squad among the Champions League teams now.
But this doesn't guarantee anything for them about winning the title anyway. Haaland is of course an incredible addition as we have witnessed his performance so far. However there are still matches that they lose very unexpectedly in the end. Maybe they will get stuck in one of the stages in the Champions League like the previous season. Who knows maybe Real Madrid would be their opponent again and we would see a similar scenario. Guardiola has a really difficult task to perform for reaching the title.

Barcelona look like they are in search of another striker to increase the alternatives. At least the speculations say that. I have seen Enner Valencia's name in the rumours. Maybe this is related to the possibility of Depay's departure. I still think they shouldn't let him go yet but it looks like he can leave anytime. Depay is still a good backup option for Lewandowski actually.
Barcelona had better make their decision carefully not to have only Lewandowski as a striker in the squad. Otherwise the rest of the season might be in danger for them in case of Lewandowski's possible absence. The Europa League goal of them would also be affected badly.
With or without Lewandoski Barcelona will so so many stars But believe you know that one and what you want. Barcelona will improve before Europa league competition. Barcelona can do without Lewandowski, let it not be as if Lewandowski is the only reason why Barcelona can win. This season Barcelona has done very well in some games that Lewandowski was absent. |
