401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dangerous insights on bitcoin Investor on: March 24, 2024, 10:53:22 AM
Let’s be honest: no parent will call on the police for their child.

Especially if they have a poor background, why would they
endanger their child’s welfare? Op, are you just inventing stories?
Or perhaps exaggerating some details?

No poor family will be against their kid’s earnings. Even if they
disapproved their kid’s methods of income, they would never tell it to
the police. The only type of people I can think that will do this kind of thing
are the middle to upper class white parents.

I don't think it's a made up story i have seen parent doing this when their son is involved in illegal activities or something which will b bad for them on longer run and here what I understood the parents had no idea about Bitcoin they thought it's a scam and since the earnings increased rapidly they thought their son is involved in something illegal and hence to secure his future they called upon police assuming this will lead to more illegal work.
Note: As per parents they though he is involved into something illegal or fishy.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So Solana is 20x up but Ethereum is dying, yet for years ppl shill Eth why? on: March 24, 2024, 10:14:31 AM
You got it all wrong mate and to be honest I don't even feel like explaining you the difference between SOLand ETH ecosystem, ETH ecosystem is much bigger than SOL and as far as i remember my first entry into ETC was when it was trending at $2 and now look how far it has come? I don't think SOL can ever be as large as ETH and hey ETH has managed so many bear market and during 2018 when there was bloodbath in market including the Bitcoin it was ETH which managed to sustain three more month before getting bearish. ETH is not dying rather it's in accumulation zone.
403  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Politicians playing politics on a polluted democracy on: March 24, 2024, 09:58:54 AM
Hey this problem is not only limited to Africa but this applies to all the underdeveloped and struggling nations wherein the corrupt politicians just loots the nation and amass wealth for their next ten generation. Africa is supposed to be one of the richest continent considering the natural resources and minerals it sits on top of but it has been colonized and now the slavery and corrupt mindset has stayed forever in their hearth and mins. It's difficult to change their mindset except their own death these corrupt politicians needs to be eradicated but the problem is there are 1000s of such politicians hence need a strong framework which should be transparent of every single transactions and there should be accountability in order to end corruption.
404  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: getting past break even on: March 24, 2024, 09:41:05 AM
I have tried some indicators and also combination of indicators and well as strategies but could find an accurate or atleast winning one hence I have been suggested to work on basics like RSI, Bollinger bands and MACD as these might help us if we go indepth. Sometimes we get lost by experimenting the combination of multiple indicators as my A/B testing failed but the market conditions play major role we need to experiment with different market conditions to see which indicators or strategy works on which market conditions.
405  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC dip again? on: March 24, 2024, 09:29:15 AM
I can partially answer this if you ask me whether there would be any further dips yes there will be dips but nobody can predict the extend of dip to any absolute figure, just ensure you don't miss out the rally awaiting for prices to go below $50k which looks difficult at the moment. I would suggest you to get into the market in the next dip instead of waiting for it to go below $50k and stay vigilant on the market trend to ensure you cash out if it dips and buy at lower level instead of just waiting for the market to hit $50k.
406  Economy / Economics / Re: Unveiling Potential: My Journey into Crypto Investment on: March 24, 2024, 09:02:54 AM
Man this is something mutual for all the new investors into Bitcoin and even I had similar feeling when I joined but unfortunately many give up during the bear market as they end up selling it all at loses due to the fear of losing it all, good you didn't buy most of newbie do this mistake. I think this forum is the best place to share and discuss anything if you have doubt or skeptical because there are lot of experts in this forum who have been into crypto for a long time and don't go with prediction made by the social media influencers as they just mean business and money.
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: End Goal or Keep HODLing? on: March 24, 2024, 07:55:49 AM
Seems like you missed out to build a strategy I mean we cannot hodl Bitcoin forever and I will tell you what I usually do i have started DCA and now accumulated decent amount of Bitcoin and though I have been holding for long term but I would sell it off at the peak of Bull run else I would Ave my funds in bearish market and wait for few years which would be waste of time. We need to learn on taking profits. You may take profit at peak and then reinvest during bear market but let the DCA continue.
408  Local / India / Re: KuCoin becomes first FIU compliant global crypto exchange on: March 24, 2024, 07:17:44 AM
This will be good until and unless you are trading in smaller funds and once you start using huge funds then you will be in trouble because now the government can ask the exchanges to furnish details like the source of fund and all. Bitcoin was created to avoid all these government and third party intervention but we are going back against the logic and I think people need to understand it's the government which has won not us. Be ready for more troubles and letters by the IT department and get ready to justify your source of income which you have invested or traded.
409  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 10x vs 15x Margin Trade Question on: March 23, 2024, 08:01:10 PM
It's with 15x you would get more profit compared to 10x but there is only one factor which may have confused you and that's the trigger price and your position I mean limit orders because let's say we have set TP if the value drop below certain limit and by the time the order is executed if the price rapidly drops then you will get less than your expected 5% TP unless you have set proper conditions limit what should be limit for order execution as this plays a major role.
410  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 2030 Assumptions on: March 23, 2024, 07:30:41 PM
There are couple of things like Bitcoin will become more scarce and also its value would have increased by multiple folds and the adoption rates would have increased.

Now let's come to the challenges which has to be fixed like the high transaction fees become as the value of Bitcoin increases the value of transaction fees will be increased as well not in terms of BYC but people will be calculating it as per fiat and it would be very high, this has to be fixed along with the speed of transaction.

Regardless of whatever happens we will always have bunch of users who missed out to invest into Bitcoin and would be regretting just like we see today.
411  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin vs election? on: March 23, 2024, 06:41:06 PM
There isn't much correlation as per my understanding because there are lot of other factors which define the Bitcoin market trend but we need to understand one thing that Trump is a businessman and he can easily take some steps to manipulate the market to steer it towards his own benefit and we cannot trust him as a leader it's all about business and he has sold NFTs as well. The change of tone just means that he see more potential into Bitcoin and crypto currency in general and wants to get benefitted by it.

This is just my opinion and doesn't mean everyone has to agree as you mean choose to disagree with reasonable points.
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dangerous insights on bitcoin Investor on: March 23, 2024, 06:26:31 PM
Some may say parents were bad or they just made it difficult for their son by calling the cops in haste but trust me they cared about their son and since they were not aware about the concept of bitcoin they don't want their son to get into trouble or associated in fraudulent activities and that's what any good parents would be.

The problem here was their lack of knowledge about the bitcoin and their son could have clearly elaborated them how bitcoin works and how does he earn through it because there would have been a sure shot lack of transparency leading to this whole episode and still so many people consider it as ponzi or scam so no fault of the parents.
413  Local / India / Re: Another Exchange exits Indian Cryptospace - OKX on: March 23, 2024, 06:08:11 PM
Looks like government is hellbent to ensure people remain poor and they want to restrict every single option which people have to earn some decent amount and trust me trading was more easier than any other business as there is no set up cost or rental and other external expenses one can learn the trading and earn decent but they wanted a share of our hardwork by enforcing the cruel tax and now when people had other option they have started either blocking or pressurizing and exchanges instead of giving into the demands have decided to exit Indian market.

This is indeed a very bad development but that's what we have voted for and will be voting for even in the upcoming elections. We have ruined out own fate and opportunity.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Making people more profitable than Alts on: March 23, 2024, 05:42:13 PM
Meme coins are altcoins too and most altcoins are still a complete waste of money, now it is clear that with so many people being interested in them, that some success stories will appear, which will inspire other investors to follow on their footsteps.

But those profits do not come from nowhere, in order for those monster gains to appear, others have to suffer monster losses as well, and when you add that it is almost impossible to predict which meme coin will succeed, it is not surprising that a great deal of the community still has huge misgivings about investing in meme coins.
In every Altcoin market their must be some bad ones and the good ones all together, it would not matter as we often generalize Altcoins and Memecoins as being risky despite having the ones that are capable of giving good returns of profit. Some Memecoins is to be avoided but not totally avoided, their are few which is worth for we investing in them, I know some which deserves such, so we best take our time and dog watch which of the memecoins is suitable and profitable to invest in.
If that is your stance I can understand it, but I have the opposite view, the majority of meme coins are not worth your investment, and when I say the majority I am talking about 95% to 99% of all the meme coins that exist.

So when the percentage of meme coins that are not worth our money is so low, I am not going to use my limited time trying to find a needle in a haystack, to me it is better to look for projects with much higher chances of giving you a positive return, even if that means that return is smaller.
Let's not be too sentimal, you actually judging from a deductive aspect, memecoins are known to be hirely misleading but out of them all, few have been proven to be successful, many investors has gotten enough profits risking it in these memecoins and earned a lot more than they have in any Altcoin. It is advisable when dealing with memecoins, one should invest little, something we can do without even if the price drops to zero, it wouldn't affect our standards of living, we only need to apply caution when dealing with them and not totally avoiding them, it's a personal decision aswell.

I think this applies to me as well because I have been judging memecoins from deducting aspect only wherein the amount of people lost money in memecoin had overshadowed the profits and amount of people benefitted by memecoins. It's a fair point which you have mentioned as it's a very sensible advice to invest only what you can afford to lose without having impact on your standard of living because the problem arises only when we go all in and invest every last dime we have.
415  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Patience is power on: March 23, 2024, 05:01:08 PM
People seek their success in any action. Of course success requires the ability to adapt and learn from challenges. That's why you need to set goals, be active and constantly strive to improve yourself. Success doesn't just happen overnight;  It is the result of consistent efforts and persistence. I think strategy is more important than patience in trading. If you don't know the right strategy in trading, you will not be able to hold your money with patience. When it comes to investment, there must be a test of patience, otherwise you will not reap the rewards of patience. As Bitcoin is a long-term investment where you can't expect much from it unless you patiently hold it for more than two to three years.

100% aligned and couldn't agree more as you have made such a sensible response because people need to understand that patience alone cannot win you anything because people either just thing patience is the key or some think that we don't have to wait and stay active and make instant moves wherein both of them are wrong as patience with proper strategy will win.

I know Bitcoin is a long term stuff but you need to have proper strategy because let's say you have bough Bitcoin in 2017 at $19000 and waiting whole bull run of 2021 and eventually sold at bear run during 2021/2022 for $16k doesn't make sense, eventhough a long term investment but need to plan strategy based on our requirement and we should know when to TP.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to adjust your digital currency plan with new crypto tax proposal on: March 23, 2024, 02:55:52 PM
One more proposal which goes against the traders see this month affect long term investors but the problem here is I would just tell the profit earned by traders and or short term investment with little profit. There would be a way to figure out how we can bypass these taxes as it doesn't make sense why do they tax for something which they cannot control or legalize? This is just to try and control which they had been trying to do for a long time but traders are not fools to pay this tax there would be some way around. Because not everyone can become long term investors.
417  Economy / Economics / Re: China India tensions on impact to Global economy possible china India war on: March 23, 2024, 02:20:08 PM
The relationship between two large countries is very, very complicated, where there are times when they are of the same direction and cooperating, but on certain issues there are times when they have different paths and sometimes cause conflict at the border. And even though there is the US behind India, when we talk about the Asian region, we all know which country has a big influence in that region. And the feud between India and China has not yet found common ground, so there is a possibility that in the future there will be a quite fierce trade war between India and China, and the bad thing is that this feud could end in a prolonged conflict on the Himalayan border.

And if this happens, global food security will again be threatened, countries that are dependent on India for food will experience difficulties. This could happen, because China could behave selfishly in cutting off the flow of its river in Tibet which is connected to the Brahmaputra river and the Ganges river in India, which could cause India's agricultural activities to be hampered due to lack of water. Agricultural activities are hampered, food productivity is reduced and hunger is rampant

That would prove to be terrible not only to India but also to those countries which are dependent on India and also this will impact the export market of China because we have to accept the fact that world needs byh India and China for different resources and without them it would cause hardship throughout the world or atleast to major countries. India cannot escalate this further assuming USA would back then as India has learned a lot from in previous war with China and this time Inda will take calculated steps and China needs to be stopped it's getting ambitious day by day.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme and Alt Coins investors, how do you treat with your conscience? on: March 23, 2024, 12:51:58 PM
Why are we mixing of conscience with crypt market? It's more of one person's gain and other person's loss because it's the users like you and me who are buying and selling it. Rather it's more of how peaceful you can sleep when you have invested into highly volatile Altcoins and the answer is we cannot sleep peacefully atleast I cannot sleep peacefully if I invest into highly volatile Altcoins as I will be wondering what will happen to my fund and end up panic selling or not selling at the peak. I have made these mistake in the past and stopped leaning towards volatile coins.
419  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC go back to $40K - $30K range before a bigger rally? on: March 23, 2024, 11:52:47 AM
Based on the pattern on the chart, it seems like Bitcoin is going to correct itself but to what extent, no one knows.

We can clearly see that BTC hasn't been able to cross its previous highs after each dip recently which indicates that there is a bearish momentum going on.

So can we expect a major correction or it's going to go up again and reach $80K before halving?

Let's discuss.

Regards
SK

There is always a correction and accumulation before another push. The correction could be slight making current resistance above 62K to the the final one as prices have bounced back from that range for multiple of times now and in worst case scenario, it could go as low as 50K but no further. The price going below 50K would start another bear which is highly unlikely as there is high confidence in the market. People are accumulating at a higher price and a bull reaching 85K+ is on the horizon. There are predictions of bitcoin reaching 140K as well.

Yes indeed, we have seen this in the past as well hence it's better not to panic and make use of the dip which we should consider as accumulation period. This just resembles to every other bull run we have always seen such dips before the pump. I personally feel Bitcoin would cross $100k but I don't go with prediction because that was the case then Bitcoin should have breached $100k in 2018 itself but rather it would be wise to consider the targets based on how market trends.
420  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A new Russian-Finnish war is coming on: March 23, 2024, 11:18:51 AM
No doubt Russia is mightier and capable of repeating the same thing but not at the moment and be it any country regardless of it's millitary power can afford to indulge in war or conflicts at multiple fronts hence I don't think Russia will be indulging into any further conflicts and already they are involved in Syrian conflicts hence it would be a red flag.

Russia should stay away from any further conflicts else we would see repeat of USSR collapse wherein they may lose territory regions like Dagestan and Chechnya.
