This coin is no more CPU only.

GPU miner for Cryptonote is not very powerfull. I guess there is no such thing as CPU only coin.
What matters is that with Cryptonote GPU performance is almost same as CPU.

This is only first step: I assume that after setting it stable performance will be increased...
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Aeon coin - CryptoNight - CPU only on: June 19, 2014, 08:53:38 AM
http://minin.gs/acn/ stopped paying. Why?

Can pool owner respond?

My suggestion is to use other pools as well.

Not just he stops paying, but all AEON transaction has been stopped. None new coins are payed, none of new coin appear in wallet, none of transfered coins appear on swaphole.... so it looks like something big is going on.
But still server give new work without no problem, and receive answers from clients...
weird...
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore MRO/QCN/FCN/BCN GPU Miner v2.2 on: June 18, 2014, 11:13:00 PM
And if I may to say: there is nothing so special in Catalyst 13.12. I install latest drivers and didnot loose even one hash/sec... So if someone has problems with 13.12 then tray later version...
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore MRO/QCN/FCN/BCN GPU Miner v2.2 on: June 18, 2014, 08:00:41 PM
Starting both Claymor miners is tricky if you have Kaspersky antivirus.  In both cases if Kaspersky is active aplication starts and computer hangs or even print BSOD.
Work around is to disable Kaspersky, start app then reenable protection. But in version 2.1 of GPU ( and sometimes CPU miner) after re-enabling protection process crash and stops. And sometimes only restart help!
So if you use some kind of software protection: change it... it looks like it is more damage then good thing from that.

Please consider this.
Since your software is in beta phase, and many bugs are ( will be detected) until final stuff is out lower you feed. If we are all here beta testers of YOUR product, and if we all loose because YOUR bugs in program, then lower feed, or made time limited app.
If we not tested your product, no one will use it because will be unstable, and with bugs. What you will get in that case?- Nothing since no one will use your app.
And what worth that your app is faster then Wolf if we dont have any problem with Wolf and have lots of problem with your app?.

Will you compile new version for windows and Linux static?
Thanks!

I reverted the commit - it messed some stuff up. But why would you want a linux static binary?

Why?
Because you dont need to know how to compile binaries if you are on linux, simple reason.
I take static binaries, lost maybe one percent( if at all) and working immediately Smiley
And for somebody who know how to make static it is few minutes of work.. Put it on the cloud and give link Smiley

On GPU, for now on 2.1 everything is looking ok!

But there is no New job recieved. Both on CPU and GPU miner: my rate is about 20 coins per hour; but last night for 8 hours of mining I got only 3 coins Sad
Please fix it
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore MRO/QCN/FCN/BCN GPU Miner v2.0 on: June 14, 2014, 09:42:19 PM
What I've noticed, is that for my 7950 cards best H/s are attained when I set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 80 for all cards (7870,7950,290). Otherwise there is too much video memory allocated for 7950 (some 2.6GB), which results in decreased performance. Optimal value seems to be 1797MB for 7950. Cannot check the values for 7970 as I don't have one.

Yes, it looks like you are right
If I set 92 then I got 324 , setting to 95 got 331, anything below or higher than that gives me below 300 H/s
Also I noticed next: I cannot clock my card even 1 MHz, immediately I got around 280H/s

But still it is below author performance around 370 H/s
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore MRO/QCN/FCN/BCN GPU Miner v2.0 on: June 14, 2014, 07:20:38 PM
This new version is faster, but still I cannot get "your speed" with R9 280X
I only got around 280H/s
Drivers are recommended, Win7 x64 with 8 GB ram, fresh install.
Value is set to 100
Card is set to GPU 1GHz and memory 1200 MHz
Any advice?
When process is started, mouse steps is so jumping
