If it's like this, Napoli can be categorized as a weak team. I don't think the same as you in seeing the ongoing game between the two. For 20 minutes, Napoli in this match did not
Napoli is a weak team. They didn't play particularly well yesterday. They were that good only because Barcelona too is not a strong team. If Napoli had played like that against an in-form Man City or Inter Milan, they would have lost.
As bad as Barcelona was, they were the better team. They deserved a win more than Napoli yesterday. Barcelona's problem was winning the ball back. Whenever they lose the ball, they find it very difficult to win the ball back and that allows the other team to press them.
Napoli's game yesterday came due to poor defending by Inigo Martinez.

But Napoli have taken 4 shots, while Barcelona have not taken a single shot even though they were off target but they also managed to get 2 on target.

I didn't really pay attention to the starts but there was a point yesterday in the first half where Barcelona was so superior to Napoli in the second half. At that point Barcelona had 11 shots and 4 on target while Napoli had 4 6 with 1 on target.
Barcelona were not a good team yesterday but they were better than Napoli.
In the second leg, Barcelona has the advantage of playing at home and if they can be better than they were in the first leg they would win and go through.

Like you have said, "some people just want to live comfortably and be happy, and everything should not revolve around money." Can you talk about things you can do successfully and efficiently in this world without money? Just give me a little glimps of how you can be happy without money or how you can live comfortably without money? Almost everything we do in this life requires money, bro.

I don't think I said people can survive without money. If I did say that, then I was wrong. Everybody needs money, everybody needs to work for money. All I'm saying is, not everybody wants as much money as you and I want.
When I say some people want a comfortable life, I don't mean a life where they won't work, I mean a life where they go about their normal businesses or jobs and they make enough money to be comfortable.
When I say "everything doesn't revolve around money" I don't mean people don't need money. If everything revolves around money then only the rich would be happy.

Most of us already know it or aware of the economy situation, it is just that most of us don't care about it like what you've said.
Those who are struggling or wants to gain kore would do what they need to achieve it, think of a way how their life would be better, but for those who are already contented with their life living with a minimum then they would just continue to do what they are already doing, the problem with it is that they would only see how bad it is when they face a certain situation that requires them more than what they have or some emergency cases that they need a big cash.

You can also work hard and make more money yet be faced with a situation where the money you have can't solve that issue or an issue that would drain all the money you've worked for.
It's just how life is. It ain't scripted.
I don't know about you people but the ultimate thing in life is happiness. As long as a person is happy with what he makes, he doesn't complain, he pays his bills, and doesn't have any pressing issues that need money to solve, I believe he's fine.
403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Rated 6th Among the Top Global Currencies on: February 22, 2024, 02:32:08 PM
I have a few questions.
How is it measured? Is it by market cap? If it's by market cap, how are the fiat currencies calculated? Because the market cap is the current price of the coin multiplied by the total circulating supply.
So now, what is the price of the dollar?
For example, we know that 1BTC = $51k. If we multiply $51k by the number of Bitcoins in circulation, we'll get Bitcoin's market cap.
Hench my question is, how is the price of a dollar calculated?
I know the circulating supply of a fiat currency may be known but how accurate is it?

Also, if this is ranked using market capitalization, how do we know if Bitcoin adoption is improving? For all we know the same people number of people that have been using Bitcoin may just be demanding more Bitcoin causing the price to increase.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could clear me on this.

The impact of injuries to several of Barcelona's core players was quite large on their performance in the Domestic League competition, which ultimately resulted in Barcelona losing many points in their competition in La Liga. but in this match, Barcelona inevitably had to take advantage of the momentum when they visited Napoli's headquarters. the reason is, Napoli's performance is much messier than Barcelona.

I think Barcelona will win this game, except this new manager Napoli hired will have an immediate impact.
Barcelona seem to be getting better and they play better recently, if they don't concede cheap goals they might win this game.
Napoli is not a team that plays defensive football and that's an advantage for Barcelona, even if it can be a disadvantage.

It's an advantage in the sense that, Barcelona struggle to score against teams that defend well. They prefer teams that leave spaces behind. But if the team is compact in defense they struggle.
The disadvantage is that, Barcelona doesn't have a solid defense this season so if you press them, they will make silly mistakes and concedes.

Is it already decided that De Zerbi is going to be the new coach of Barcelona?
Man, I don't know about this one. I mean he is doing a decent job with Brighton.
But I'm not sure he will be able to have the achievement that is expected with Barcelona.

Nothing has been decided yet. He's among the managers Barcelona is interested in but I doubt they will hire him. To me, hiring De Zerbi won't be able to a good decision for Barcelona.
Don't get it wrong, De Zerbi is good, but that does mean he can handle Barcelona.
Barcelona needs a very experienced coach, somebody who commands respect in the dressing room.

Also, we have to understand that just because a manager was successful in his previous clubs doesn't mean he'll be successful in Barcelona. Barcelona is a very big club, one of the biggest in the world, so that comes with a lot of pressure and expectations. In many other clubs in Europe, Xavi would be applauded for the work he has done in Barcelona. He took them from 9th to 2nd in his first season and won the league in his second season. That is an achievement for most teams, but not Barcelona.

So I'd advise De Zerbi to remain at Brighton or go to another club where there will be not much pressure and expectations like Barcelona. He should keep building himself and win trophies first.
Flick is a manager I feel would be able to handle Barcelona, but I'm still skeptical about him too.
406  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Start preparing for the next bear run. on: February 21, 2024, 07:32:52 PM
From my little experience with the Bitcoin Investment system, the best time to buy the coin if you are targeting to make a profit in the bull run is during the bear run. The price is cheaper and you can make a good profit within the four-year circle. At this period you don't need to rush to buy because of FOMO but you can comfortably buy at your own pace using the DCA or other strategy that suits you.

I think it's people that don't understand Bitcoin that buy only during the bull run. It's so obvious to see that the best time to buy a thing is when the price is low, so you can sell it off at a profit when the price appreciates. They don't believe in Bitcoin, they just want the profit and this makes them lose more profit.

I remember telling someone who was complaining about how altcoins have made her lose so much money to just stick with Bitcoin and she said Bitcoin won't give her much profit in the short term.
That can be true, but from November last year to today, Bitcoin has gone up about 44%. Now imagine having your investment go up 44% in about 4 months.
Whenever we see the price of Bitcoin dip, we should see it as an opportunity to accumulate more Bitcoin at a lower price, because what is certain is that the price will always go back up.
407  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If there was no government to govern us (humans) on: February 21, 2024, 05:00:10 AM
With a government and laws, there will be crimes and when there are no crimes everything is allowed. A world like that will see humans be worse than savages. The world would still be in a stone age because nobody would be thinking about inventing anything when they can be killed the next minute and their wives or children be taken as slaves or whatever.

Murder wouldn't be a crime, rape won't be a crime. The whole world would be in chaos because it would be a literal kill-or-be-killed situation. Anarchy never works anywhere.
See how fucked up the world is, so much killing and crimes being committed, now imagine there were no laws and government to fight these criminals, there would be no point giving birth to children in a world like that. So it's just not possible.
408  Economy / Speculation / Re: 60k possible before end of this month? on: February 21, 2024, 04:45:08 AM
Also does this proves the idea of most people saying that bitcoin could hit half a million dollars after the halving by 2025, does this sign proves it right?

It doesn't prove anything. $500k is still a very distant price from where Bitcoin is right now. It hasn't even made it to $100k yet. I don't like to be over-expectant when it comes to Bitcoin price. If it gets to half a million by next year then good for us, but I still see that speculation as ridiculous. From what I know about Bitcoin such an increase in such a relatively short time will only correct itself soon after and that will make people lose a lot of money, faith, and trust in Bitcoin. Bitcoin at this point grows gradually. The highest I can predict for a new ATH is at around $200k and that should be at the peak of the bull run.

We have 10 days to go until the end of February, and it remaining $8k from this price of $52k -$60k

It's difficult for me to see Bitcoin price increase by $8k in 8 days as it stands. That's an average of 1k per day. I don't see that happening. I agree Bitcoin will hit 60k soon but I believe it will be on 50k -52k for a while before breaking off and getting to $60k.
409  Economy / Economics / Re: Is increase in minimum wage a good method to fight inflation? on: February 20, 2024, 09:32:02 PM
Increase in minimum wage can be used to ease the pressure of inflation that increase in price of goods and services have on government workers. If the minimum wage has been increased, this will help the government workers to be able to be able to have more money to pay for goods and services after there have been rise in the cost of goods and services. But this is not the way to fight inflation, it is just a way to reduce the effect of inflation on government workers.

An increase in minimum wage doesn't favor government workers that much in the long run. Inflation is simply the skyrocketing of prices in an economy.
One thing that causes inflation is "too much money" in the economy. When too much money is chasing few goods, the prices of those goods go up.
Now, let's imagine the government increases the minimum wage of the country, that means the purchasing power of the people has increased, which means demand for goods and services will increase and we all know that "the higher the demand of a commodity, the higher the price of that commodity". So that means inflation will just increase, thereby defeating the purpose of increasing the minimum wage. And the higher the inflation rate, the more the currency loses value. In no distant time, the value of the previous minimum wage would be the same as the value of the new.

The government should look for the factors that are causing inflation in the country and tackle those factors. Increasing the minimum wage without fighting the reason for the inflation is a waste of time.
Increasing the minimum wage is just a thing a bad government does to keep its party in power. They use that to buy the hearts of the masses when in reality, they've done nothing.
410  Economy / Economics / Re: Step up your game before the game steps you down. on: February 20, 2024, 09:13:16 PM
some people will definitely be lazy, no matter the amount of motivation you give them.

The belief that everyone who doesn't "hustle" as hard as you is lazy is wrong. I want the best out of life and I have to work extremely hard for that to happen, but some people are okay with where they are even though they don't have up to what I have. They're happy.
To me, life is not about how much money you make, it's about how happy you are.
Making money makes me happy, so I try my best to make money. For someone else, it may be something else, so I'll have no issues with him if he doesn't go after what makes him happy.
As far as the person is not struggling just to eat, I think we should allow people to do what they want.

Not everybody dreams of being a millionaire, some people just want to live a quiet life and make just enough to take care of the people they love and they're very happy and comfortable with that. I can't live like that, but I respect it. Everything shouldn't revolve around money.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ? Lega Serie A ?? (Italian League) Prediction Thread 2023/2024? on: February 20, 2024, 05:50:54 PM
Recovering is still possible for Juventus but still things like this are not as easy as turning the palm when looking at the condition of Juventus from the start of the season until now it is very visible that their shortcomings are not from a bad midfield or defence but indeed their attack line sometimes does not have good goal productivity because some of the strikers they currently have are less able to maximise the opportunities they have.

Juventus is 9 points behind Inter Milan, I don't see how they can recover to top that. Even if they hit top form now, Inter would be required to drop 9 points before they can take over. We all know that's not going to happen because Inter is currently one of the most in-form teams in Europe as it stands.

The recovery Juventus can make now is to make sure they don't drop further below because they're just 2 points ahead of Milan.
The attack doesn't work well, but that's not the only problem of the team. The midfield too doesn't work well. In some games, they struggle to keep the ball.
I applaud Juventus for how far they've come from last season though.
412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: February 20, 2024, 05:29:02 PM
Bilbao victory over Girona had an impact on several things, Madrid became the luckiest team because the point difference was wider, and opened up opportunities for Barcelona to move up to second place in the standings.

I knew Girona was not going to be able to hold on for the whole season. Barcelona's inconsistency is the only reason why Girona is still second on the table. The problem with Girona is their defense. They have a poor defense that concedes too many goals.

The season is still very open and even out of form, Barcelona has a chance to win the league too. Barcelona is 8 points behind Madrid and with how Madrid is also inconsistent, Barcelona has a chance if they can sit up, but it doesn't look like Barcelona would sit up.
What I'm sure of is that Barcelona will overtake Girona in second place because there's only 2 points difference between them.
413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 20, 2024, 05:15:16 PM
PSV vs Dortmund is not sure of a draw but that's my prediction so the possibility of both teams scoring each other is still very possible but you still have the right to which odds are best but obviously it's a high chance if it's a draw.

I'm not sure about the winner of the match, but these are two teams that know how to score. They both play free-flowing attacking football and don't pay too much attention to their defense. I know the Champions League is a different ball game but I think neither team would want to sit back and allow the other to press them, that's why I believe both teams are going to score.
I will go with a PSG win and both teams to score.

Inter Milan vs Atletico Madrid is probably a draw on the other hand we believe Inter Milan will play dominant because Inter has a great game at home, even we know it is difficult to beat, sometimes Atletico can change in any condition.

This is one game I doubt will be a draw. Games like this where everybody feels is a draw don't normally end in a draw. Both teams don't concede too many goals and they score too. Atletico Madrid score lots of goals this season. I'm still sticking with both teams to score here.

Why Napoli seems to hurry firing Walter Mazzarri? I think Napoli management must wait for the match against Barcelona first. Although they are no longer patient with the bad results got by Walter Mazzarri. But let him to manage Napoli for the match against Barcelona.

When a manager has been having a series of bad results from the beginning of the season, I never question the decision of the club if they want to fire the coach. Napoli have been bad and firing the coach before the Barcelona game may work in their favor.
Barcelona may prepare to face a different Napoli but they might play a different Napoli because it's a different manager. We've seen how a new manager makes teams get better. Take Roma for example, they changed manager and got better.
Napoli should be playing better than they're playing now that's why I believe they should get a new manager. They have a chance to win Barcelona because Barcelona is also not consistent with their performance.

I think Tuchel still has a chance to continue playing in the Champions League we don't yet know how far he will take Bayern Munich, what is clear is that in the second leg they have to win, if they fail then Tuchel will really be finished.

IMO, except Tuchel wins the league and champions league, this is the last season at Bayern Munich. We can all agree that will not happen. He's 8 points behind a very in-form Bayer Leverkusen and not consistent enough to even draw Lazio in the UCL. It's looking more likely that Bayern will finish the season without a trophy for the first time in forever. It's funny because we knew a season would come when a a team that's not Bayern Munich would win the trophy, but we just did not think about how it would affect the coach who would be here by this time.

I doubt Bayern would sack Tuchel before the end of the season. Things are not going to be that bad. They would not want to make the mistake they did last season where they fired Nagelsmann mid-season and hired Tuchel. Now they would want to take their time to look for a quality coach to handle the team. I have a feeling they'll go after Klopp.
416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: February 19, 2024, 03:22:16 PM
When compared to Real Madrid, Sevilla is indeed much weaker. However, what makes me a little doubtful about Real Madrid is because when facing Rayo, Real Madrid was only able to achieve a draw. That's why I'm a little doubtful about the upcoming match between Sevilla and Real Madrid. The reason is that in the previous match, Sevilla was able to beat Rayo.

For me, Madrid's previous result is not an issue, neither is Sevilla's previous result. What I see as an issue for Madrid is the number of injuries they have and the kind of players that are injured.
Madrid currently has most of their defenders out injured and that's a problem. Even if they have managed to win games without those players, they might not always get lucky.

Sevilla is not a team that usually causes problems for Real Madrid. Sevilla's last win against Real Madrid came in 2018. It was actually a back-to-back win. Since then, Sevilla has only managed to get 2 draws against Madrid in the last 10 matches, meaning they've lost 8.
Although in the first leg of this fixture this season, both teams shared the point, I think Madrid will win this one.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No essence in convincing anyone into Bitcoin ind. nor the Bitcointalk platform on: February 19, 2024, 08:11:33 AM
I don't think introducing this forum to someone interested in Bitcoin is a bad thing. I feel it's a good step. If the person is interested in learning Bitcoin and you don't have the time and patience to teach that person, just refer the person here. It doesn't matter if the person doesn't know anything at all about Bitcoin, if he/she is ready to learn and patient enough, they'll learn everything they need to know. If they're not patient enough then they can leave the forum. Dormant accounts don't hurt the forum, do they?

Convincing people about Bitcoin is wrong for me. I don't even tell people about Bitcoin (I have my reasons), but if you see someone who wants to know about Bitcoin so they can invest, why not educate them on what Bitcoin is?
418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: February 18, 2024, 05:37:52 PM
But Mourinho has set pretty high standards for Roma, don't you think? Mourinho finished 6th in Serie A twice while winning the Conference League and reaching the Europa League final. Now Roma is in the same 6th place, but judging by the gap from 5th (7 points), they are unlikely to be able to rise higher, but they can easily fall lower. And it will be difficult to reach the Europa League final with such strong competitors.

Mourinho did a good job with Roma by winning the conference league for them and getting to the final of the Europa League, but that doesn't mean they should keep him in the team even though they're performing badly.
Roma was very bad this season. They struggled in almost every game.

Sacking is one thing, hiring a better coach as a replacement is another thing. When I saw that Roma hired De Rossi to handle Roma for the time being I was skeptical about the decision because I didn't know how good he was, but now I think he's beginning to win me over. I guess we'll leave time to tell but right now, De Rossi has turned Roma's performance around. They might not go all the way in the league, but I believe they can go all the way in the Europa League.
419  Economy / Economics / Re: Not easy times in the world but how the goverment will improve? on: February 17, 2024, 06:20:09 PM
The officials are also looking after themselves. They are busy making wealth while they are still in office. Their power is temporary, after all.

This right here is part of the major problems. Officials just go for office to acquire wealth for themselves. They're not really there to improve the country and that's why things keep getting worse.
In my country, the government has been complaining about how they can't keep paying for specific things, how they can't keep subsidizing some things because there is no money, but they keep increasing the salaries of politicians and buying the most expensive secured vehicles for them with public funds. They just do not care.

A country that has a working system and officials that truly put the needs of the country before their own will succeed. Such a country may indeed go through so challenging times, but they'll always come out better in the end.
420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does even freezing a customer's account curb irresponsible gambling? on: February 16, 2024, 10:33:02 PM
Casinos don't have the right to do that. Just because they perceive that the person is not gambling responsibly doesn't give them the right to lock the person's account. If he has defaulted on a rule or it was stated in the "terms of service" that they would lock his account if he gambles irresponsibly then they might have the right to do so, but if it's not started the account owner has the right to get angry.

I also do not think freezing or locking a casino account can curb irresponsible gambling. The gambler can easily open another account with a different casino.
