401  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC transactions unconfirmed for nearly 2 months. Can't find help. on: January 12, 2024, 06:20:02 AM
Only they can access the memepool's transaction selection section can help you to confirm the transaction. There is no one here. Also, the viaBTC option is not available, so you are left with a paid option, which is https://www.f2pool.com/user/tx-acc, where you need to register an account and pay required fees.

Some scammers will try to send you messages and tell you that they can help you, do not believe them that they are scammers.
402  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the end of excitement on: January 12, 2024, 05:47:30 AM
If you want to trade in the long term, the excitement will begin, as the price before the end of the year may reach the levels of $100,000, but in the short term there may be some correction in a repeat of the price cycle in 2013, and this may not happen, but if you want to take caution, consider that the peak is $58,000 for the next 6 months, and the bottom is $28,000, and the price will move in this direction and may be at the same current levels in April.

The real excitement STARTS once the halving has happened and the mtgox coins have been distributed.
The price does not interact directly with halving and it takes an average of 4-6 months before we see green candles.
403  Economy / Speculation / Re: 0.618 fib retracement @ $48.5K achieved: Is this is the local top? on: January 12, 2024, 05:32:06 AM
I was surprised that we haven't had a correction yet, but couldn't the ETF event have made a correction not possible, meaning we could see $42,000 as a minimum, considering that Bitcoin fees in the previous period were preventing a decline, now the increasing demand for Bitcoin due to ETF expectations leads to balancing the price.
404  Economy / Economics / Re: My little forecast for finances and economy 2024-2026 on: January 11, 2024, 03:41:11 PM
Gold, expecting correction soon 30-45% down.
Assuming the inverse relationship between gold and dollars, by the middle of this year interest rates will be stabilized/reduced, which means that investors will begin to get rid of the dollar, a weak dollar, a stronger gold, so how will this correction occur?
A 40% correction will not happen unless World War III breaks out.

About btc ETF case, well If it does the btc price would go to 100k+ in one day but there is no instututional capital funding inflow into "long and call positions" show's btc january super max price 45k and in very extreme case 50k, strong resitance.

It happened and we only went up a few thousand dollars.
Nothing can move the price from 40k to 100k within 24 hours, this is crazy.
405  Other / Meta / Re: How do I embed pictures or video on my post ? on: January 11, 2024, 03:10:05 PM
You can't embed a video, and for an image, you can upload it here[1] and then use the BBCode given to you. Or if done manually, it should be like this:

or can create a .gif file so that you get some animation and movement. the file size is limited, you can upload the video to YouTube and add the link below the image.

Code:

406  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I'm looking for a group of people who are willing to build for bitcoin on: January 11, 2024, 02:29:49 PM
Messages could be stored on a centralised server first, and then transitioned to via nodes later on, I wonder what this idea is. Images could optionally be stored on filecoin, Internet Computer, arweave.
I think your "but I think that the performance of a social network on the blockchain would be poor and very expensive." is correct.
You will face problems such as the need to modify, delete, overwrite, or update data. You will also face problems with intellectual property rights because your servers will control the data before sending it to blockchain nodes, and here you may be asked to perform an intellectual property verification, remove NFTS. All of these things will make the service slow, expensive, and difficult to modify.

Do you have a better suggestion?
The service would be good if it consisted of documenting contracts or certificates, in which the new certificates are listed on top of the old ones, not the social network.
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) method is a simple way to invest in Bitcoin on: January 11, 2024, 02:24:57 PM
DCA is a direct and simple investment method, but it is not the best, as increasing fees will force you to search for a better way to invest in Bitcoin. Also, the return from DCA does not necessarily mean the highest, but rather it is an acceptable return compared to random investment or using more complex methods. It's the first step for beginners but over time you should learn beyond DCA.
408  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I'm looking for a group of people who are willing to build for bitcoin on: January 11, 2024, 01:00:27 AM
My vision: create a social network based on bitcoin/brc20. Make it ensure user privacy and add fun. Expand the uses of bitcoin and make it easier for more people to learn about bit/cryptocurrency and bring btc into our lives.
If you are a marketing expert or a development expert we look forward to hearing from you.
Let's build a network of people together. Smiley
I did not think that a social network, BRC20 and privacy could come together in a sentence, as a small spam of the BRC20 could lead to an insane increase in fees. Let alone creating a social network that requires thousands of images and megabytes, and these images are visible to everyone and cannot be modified or deleted, which is very bad for privacy.
You can build something on Sidechain, but I think that the performance of a social network on the blockchain would be poor and very expensive.
409  Economy / Economics / Re: People don't understood btc etf exacly on: January 11, 2024, 12:42:39 AM
make your topic useful by adding some charts or some time frames, since after 3 hours the price did not react to the news of the US ETF approved. The price may have calculated the amount since the beginning of the rumors, and the reason may be that they are waiting for the markets to open at lunch and start trading. Whatever the reason, it is Something new, and it is normal for people not to know how such news will affect it.
410  Economy / Exchanges / Re: SouthXchange closing you have less then 30 days to get your funds out. on: January 11, 2024, 12:11:44 AM
It's a bit more then 15 days closer to 23 but yeah, it's WAY to short.

It is still short or insufficient compared to services that have stopped or closed their operations.

Which was why I was thinking it was a combination of low volume and the current financial and political issues going on in the country just made it not worth staying open.

I do not think that anyone will object to stopping the service, as it aims for profit, and inevitably either they did not achieve good profits or they found a better opportunity, but in order to leave the market without there being any problems, they must ensure that everyone withdraws, keeps frozen funds in a safe place and future orders are manually processed.

No, Argentina.
I saw some pictures of people waiting in a long queue to get fuel, but I did not know that the economic situation was badly.
411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally ETF approved on: January 11, 2024, 12:03:31 AM
Gary Gensler's tweet was giving a negative signal or suggesting that the approval would not take place, in addition to denying yesterday's tweet and saying that the account had been hacked. Perhaps all that was happening was that the employee had announced the approval before its date, but why did the price not react positively to such news? I was expecting a continuous rise during the first two hours to break $50,000 but we are still far from $48,000.
412  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the world soon become tired of the US dollar? on: January 10, 2024, 05:08:36 AM
The currencies of these countries are affected by dollar in one way or another, and theهق dependence may different. even if the BRICS coalition tries to change this equation, it will find it difficult due to the difference in markets. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have their currencies linked to a fixed value of dollar, Argentina has hyperinflation, and Iran is being economically besieged. China has exposure to US bonds. India is closer to an alliance with the United States due to exporting products to Europe. All of these countries need the dollar, but their alliance is a way to reduce exposure to the dollar, and perhaps after decades the use of the dollar in international trade and the sale of oil will cost less than 50%.
413  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cointelegraph has the worst price analysis articles on: January 10, 2024, 04:58:42 AM
I created a similar topic several weeks ago Do not rely on articles as resources to learn Bitcoin

For many months, I have warned that Cointelegraph articles contain a lot of false, misleading information and should not be taken into account if you intend to trade or invest. They publish all articles to obtain paid advertisements.

Cointelegraph is not used as a reference or source for technical data, the staff writing these articles often have limited programming background and they only transmit online content which may be wrong or inaccurate.

Cointelegraph is not a source of knowledge, the technical articles on this site are not accurate or not verified so do not rely on it as a source of information.

Shouldn't the social media team who published false articles from Cointelegraph be held accountable? The argument that the X account is a scam and the platform has followers is considered flimsy. Can an article writer not distinguish between Twitter accounts, and can this be considered manipulation?

Every two months, news sites include this news. I don't know if it is FUD, or they cannot find new news, or there is an update to the news.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-mt-gox-repayment-date-looming-is-bitcoin-in-trouble

These are links to four news reports that gave four different timings and all of them were not correct. Google contains hundreds of such articles.
The only constant is that they may get their money, but the question remains when.

414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold than trade. Just don't use leverage, futures. on: January 10, 2024, 03:56:59 AM
When you trade with leverage, you are already aware of the losses that come from it, and if you are not prepared, it is better to trade via spot and place buy and sell orders according to the levels of support and resistance and stay away from trading according to news and leaks, which appear to be of poor quality in cryptocurrencies trading. price did not move very negatively so it is a lesson you should learn and it is not an expensive lesson.

415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC Grants Approval For Bitcoin ETFs, or not. on: January 10, 2024, 03:33:30 AM
It was a hoax people.

According to Gary Gensler:

The @SECGov  twitter account was compromised, and an unauthorized tweet was posted. The SEC has not approved the listing and trading of spot bitcoin exchange-traded products.
Is this considered a rejection, i.e. the final decision, or is it a denial of the tweet? The wording of the tweet denies the entire news, not the text of the tweet.

Can the account of a top US government agency be hacked so easily? And they took them 15 minutes to control and correct the news, what a big joke. We really don't know what's going on, but from what's going on, I have a feeling that even the SEC wants to manipulate this potential market for its own profit. They also want to make money from this market but abuse their power to make profits, what a shameful act.
Not only hacking, but in the time of hacking. If there is a hacker who was able to access the account at a time when he might gain profits from publishing a tweet, this means that he can access the account at any time.

Hacking government Twitter accounts seems like an easy thing.
416  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the difference between crypto trading and traditional stock trading on: January 10, 2024, 03:10:09 AM
What is going on in crypto trading is investors trying to speculate on the price of Bitcoin, meaning the end result is a way to get more Bitcoin, while in stock trading the goal is to create funding and additional financial value for the company or entity with the aim of reaching more liquidity.
The differences are very numerous, the simplest of which is that in stock trading there are protective measures against manipulation or high risks, so that profit or loss is fixed, while in crypto trading, you are trading in high-volatility assets, and there is no fixation of your profit or loss unless you place the appropriate order at the time, if you are not present. The altcoin price may have lost 70% of its value.

Since stocks and Bitcoin are completely underdeveloped, investing in both is good for those who want diversification.
417  Other / Meta / Re: Username and account number change on: January 10, 2024, 02:45:50 AM
If the reasons are related to privacy, you can request that your account be deleted. The username will become anonymous and the account number will disappear. Then you can create a new account with a new username or reuse the old username (I don’t know if that is possible, but I think)

Without deleting the account, there is no way to change the account number a.k.a user ID
418  Economy / Economics / Re: Real Time Data that shows me how many adresses have less/more BTC than I do on: January 10, 2024, 02:37:43 AM
just want to see what is missing to be in top 0.1% / 0.5% among BTC holders, of course it's just a estimate, but nice to know Wink
Do not forget that some of these addresses may belong to one person, so you cannot know the real number at the individual level. The best guesses you can get from CEXs data.

So let me ask you OP if you don't mind, how much Bitcoin do you have on your wallet? I am just curious though it's none of my business but yeah just want to know. I personally have like 0.003+BTC on my wallet and I am planning to save it for future purposes. As long as I am enrolled to a sig campaign Bitcoin will keep on coming. 😁
What does this have to do with the topic? It is not possible to know how much Bitcoin you own because you can create thousands of wallets, and if you manage an entire node using Tor, no one will be able to link all your wallet addresses.
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's 15th Anniversary: Nearing Maturity in a Turbulent World on: January 09, 2024, 09:13:45 AM
There is a misconception in mining. Just because we have mined 90% of Bitcoin, this does not mean that the price will be high because there is only 10% of Bitcoin being traded, but its effect extends to the return from the block, which is affected by halving, but after 20 years the price will be stable and the increase in supply and demand will not. It is affected by the four-year cycle, but we need trillions of dollars to see an insane increase.
420  Economy / Economics / Re: Real Time Data that shows me how many adresses have less/more BTC than I do on: January 09, 2024, 08:53:51 AM
Let's say I have 5.5 BTC and want to know as of today how many adresses have less/more than that. Is there a site where can I check that?
On this site there is like 1-10 BTC but of course that is quite a difference if you hold 1 or 10 BTC Smiley

How many active wallets are there that have bitcoin as of today?
You can find all the details here List of all Bitcoin addresses with a balance and List of all Bitcoin addresses ever used - weekly updates work again!
Through it, you can know the number of Bitcoin addresses that have a balance, whether it is a specific balance or any number you have in mind, and all the details. Unfortunately, it is raw data and therefore requires some knowledge if you want it in the form of charts.

If you plan to pay or do not have technical knowledge, Glassnode - On-chain market intelligence has all the schemes you are looking for, except that it is a paid service.
