401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Future of Gambling on: February 29, 2024, 03:21:11 PM
I was contemplating the sum of all my gambling experience today and thinking how I have had so many fun experiences with gambling despite some negative connotations i've had of it growing up. When I was a young lad I was told that my grandfather took all the money that he had invested in each and every one of his grandchildrens college funds and that he lost it all when he divested it to start betting on horse races. Needless to say that i've never been to or seen a horse race to this day -but heck i'd sure love to go to the Kentucky Derby. One day I will.

Anyways, upon thinking of a method of gambling as old as horse racing and as new as an online crypto casino I can't help but think of all the different types and places you can gamble in and what the future of gambling may hold and what the experience is like for the end user. From Vegas to the middle of the ocean on a cruise ship you can gamble and everywhere in-between even the Metaverse online! But in the end its all about the feeling gambling gives you, and ultimately that has a lot to do with the individual experience and environment that it is held in.

This brings us to the future of gambling and where it looks to be headed. With this new VR technnology from Apple and Meta and other competitors getting in the game it is only a matter of time until everyone offers the "Apple VR experience in retail and online" Or the Meta, take your pick. I just can't wait to see more of that evolution, and I already know its here I just don't know who does it because i'm not the gambler my grandfather was albeit I do like a good gamble here or there  Wink

I am excited to see the comments. Please comment on where you think the future of gambling will be. What kinds of benefits will the gambling experience of the future bring in all walks of gambling? Will it be a good thing or a bad thing? What do you think makes the gambling experience the best in your opinion? Pick and choose any / all questions to be answered- I can't wait to see what everyone says.

Cheers,

TREAD93
I think it would be kinda neat to pop on the Oculus VR headset and be in a virtual casino. It would obviously be more fun if you are betting real money while doing so and enjoying the whole casino experience, but I think people would still have fun even if it was just for virtual currency that holds no value. Maybe that could be a way to get addicted gamblers their fix without betting real money?
402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How your feels? on: February 29, 2024, 12:01:06 PM
If you sit back and worry about the past all the time, you're never going to be happy. I sold a lot of bitcoin at 20k, so now I should be sad that's its 60k+? Makes no sense!!! If you gambled your coins when they were worth a nickel or a dollar, it's the same. You had fun and went on to the next day. Wondering what might have been is just silly.
403  Economy / Reputation / Re: What is happening in SportBet.one topic? on: February 29, 2024, 11:43:07 AM
Companies should pay attention and do some research before engaging in shilling with newbies. Nobody really pays attention to newbie accounts when they bump a services thread with useless spam comments such as great company, excellent service, I deposited blah blah and wd no problem. If you don't have the funds to start a signature campaign, it's ok, there are still ways for you to get some traffic in your thread or a thread about your service. You can host a giveaway or review on a small budget and people will gladly participate. Hiring a shilling service that uses newbie accounts or controlling them yourself makes people want to avoid the service IMO.
404  Other / Meta / Re: [Results 2023] Bitcointalk Community Awards 🏆 on: February 28, 2024, 09:49:47 PM

I'm shocked that yahoo62278 received 1 vote.

I'm ok with not getting many votes as I managed maybe 1 campaign this past year. Most will vote for the managers that hired them in the year.
405  Economy / Gambling / Re: [SOLVED] Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: February 28, 2024, 08:33:39 PM
Nobody frauded or cheated on Betnomi. Betnomi just doesn't want to pay their customers, which I already told from the beginning.
SCAM ALERT
We get it, you hate Betnomi. Maybe take a day off from spamming the thread with your hate. We all wanna see everyone get paid, but you screaming scam every other post doesn't make it happen any faster. If anything, you're giving those guys less of a chance to be paid.
406  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitRoul.com , Roulette without zero ,RTP 100 , earn 100 USD with fun money on: February 28, 2024, 04:31:58 PM

The max bet was raised on

   www.bitroul.com
I think you still have a lot of work to do on the site. You raised the max bet, yet I cannot see what the max bet is without playing around. Then, the max bet should be per number, not per round. I just think you still got some work to do man.
407  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit Abuse / Account farm on: February 28, 2024, 04:25:47 PM
CRAIC receives 40 merit from Unikon for a low quality post.

CRAIC sends 38 merit to kypher for a low quality post.

Kypher then sends all 19 sMerit back to CRAIC

CRAIC sends 10 merit to Kounter for a low quality post

Kounter then sends all 5 sMerit back to CRAIC

CRAIC receives 22 merit from corel for a low quality post.

There is more in their merit histories.

Did you really have to create a new account to post this? Grin
Likely someone associated with both users and didn't want them mad at him. Wonder what they did to piss him off? Regardless of the situation, OP tag them, don't wait for everyone else to do your dirty work. I'm fine with you reporting them, but have some balls to tag them if you think they're in the wrong.
408  Other / Archival / Re: Shout-Outs!!! To Reputable Members in Your Merit History on: February 28, 2024, 07:17:47 AM
Well, this thread is meant to be for fun.
You can make a topic for fun but please don't spam Meta board.

This topic is not about forum discussions, forum problems so it does not belong to Meta board.

Where does it belong to?
Reputation board.

I even believe this topic is not necessary to exist.

spam? how exactly? I wonder if some members even knows the dictionary meaning of the word. spam

I respects people's decision alot, but how is this thread spamming the meta board? please you shouldn't scare away others with your replies. if you feel the thread isn't okay or shouldn't be created then that's for you. you can ignore it and let's others who have interest to reply.

you may not be someone who gets excited when they receive merits but others do. we all have diverse opinion on the forum.

I guess if this thread were created by a reputable legendary member for instance. your reply will be different towards the thread. let's all try to be fair here on the forum.
He's actually correct, your merit history has nothing to do with the forum or any issues about the forum, so it belongs in the Reputation section. Nothing unfair about him letting you know.
409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shocking rate of women interested in gambling. on: February 27, 2024, 09:50:12 AM
Why would it be such a shock that women would be interested in gambling? Everyone likes to have a little adrenaline rush now and then and gambling is a way to achieve that. Man, woman, young, or old can enjoy gambling. It's not limited to only men.
410  Other / Meta / Re: A simpler version of demerits: "dmerits" for every X merits earned on: February 27, 2024, 08:37:12 AM
The suggestion is good, but it won't work, why? because people are scared.

Take a look with the current trust list and feedback, many users are afraid to distrust the big names even though they makes mistakes e.g. leave a negative feedback due to personal conflict, leave a positive feedback because the user kind, has higher position etc. Instead of correct their mistakes, you could be distrusted by them even you have no mistake and most people will silent because they're also scared.

Merit is only for high quality post, right? but there are some people get merit by posting an image without any words. If it's posted by respectable user, will you believe someone will dmerit his post? I bet no.
People shouldn't live in fear on this forum, but unfortunately you are correct. Poking the wrong bear could lead to a person losing their way of earning and some just cannot afford that. I don't really think most of the members I respect would engage in that sort of shit.

@OP adding a demerit system would be great if it could be used properly and not be biased. I think that's impossible here.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Ryan Bourland Cruiserweight 8 Rounds March 2 on: February 26, 2024, 01:25:50 AM
In his quest to become a World champion, Jake Paul will face Ryan Bourland This fight will appear on the undercard of Amanda Serrano's and Nina Meinke's clash.

Ryan is not a patsy because he is a former Golden Gloves champion and National Junior Olympics boxer and he comes from a fresh win off a fifth-round TKO of Santario Martin in September 2022 and is on a three-fight winning streak.

So this is going to be a good challenge for Jake Paul and he will be tested if he got what it takes to step up on the next level in a professional fight

Ryan Bourland made a bold announcement

Quote
"Jake Paul steps into the ring with his social media clout, but let's not mistake followers for experience or skill," Bourland said in a statement. "While he's been busy chasing likes, I've been honing my craft for years, stepping into the ring and beating real boxers. On Saturday, March 2 I will shock the world and put an end to Jake Paul's boxing career."

Jake Paul to face former Golden Gloves champ Ryan Bourland
Let's see if Jake Paul can hurdle Bourlan and lets see if Bourlan can stop Jake Paul's quest to become a World Champion

I really have to agree wholeheartedly with Bourland's statement. I don't feel like the world should have embraced the route Paul has taken to get into the spotlight. Whatever he's done on Youtube is 1 thing, but he hasn't put in the work and climbed up the ranks like other boxers. He's trying to fast track his way to a title. Real boxers train for years as amateurs then work their way up the ranks.

This will def be a tough fight for Paul and I think he loses it. Not sure if he will quit after this, probably not, but this will let him know if he has a chance in boxing to be something other than a side show.
412  Economy / Gambling / Re: CryptoFreebie.io - For The Players on: February 26, 2024, 12:22:58 AM

So what if everybody just gets the best deal in town, straight away? No hooks. Would they still jump around or create alts?
That's what we want to find out.

You don't have to wait and find out all you have to do is go through the scam section and check how casinos traced abuse by having an alt account of players, it's like inviting and enticing gamblers to try to cheat the system by offering them a better perks than what they currently have or don't have from the one that recruit them.
This is common among streamers as well. The streamers aren't telling players that they need to create alt accounts if they already have an account, but they hold contests here and there and only players under their code are eligible to win any prizes. Streamers who offer the best rewards get more sign ups but alot unfortunately are alt accounts and casinos mostly only allow 1 account on their platform.

So the question is

Quote
Our plan is not to influence the players decision to discard their current casino accounts. That decision is entirely up to the individual and it is their free will to do so.
Why would you even advertise its ok to create a new account under you? You likely know the ToS of casinos includes 1 account per person, so why mention it's ok to make a new account?
413  Economy / Reputation / Re: There is an abuse of merit on: February 25, 2024, 11:23:42 PM
Brings up the question of how trustworthy is this bounty manager if they are going to engage in merit abuse? We don't know 100% if an alt sent merits to the account or if he bought them, but it does look fishy.
It looks fishy and most times I reason the part of country some people are and how they reason there. He could also send such amount of merits to the other profile without abusing it. Maybe sending fewer number of merits multiple times untill it gets to a high number.

Apart from sells of merits which I don't know if it exists, other merit related issues should just concern only the merits sources and not smerit earners.
The guy could have just been a recipient, someone could have targeted him to draw attention to him, but why? Why choose a random manager? 1 that I have personally never even heard of.

Maybe you're right, maybe you're wrong. Hard to say at this point, but I would at the very least keep an eye on the guy for a bit of I were a bounty hunter and make sure the projects he is involved with are legit.
414  Economy / Reputation / Re: What Sort of Signature is "FUCK Royse777"? on: February 25, 2024, 10:49:12 PM
I rarely participate actively in the forum because I have other jobs and businesses.
I just want to know why you chose to cheat on the review campaigns if you have other jobs and businesses?

For fun. Trust me.
~

Wait. Are you saying that you cheated in bounty campaigns with multiple alt accounts for fun? Not for the money? Then I assume you have no problem returning the money that you unfairly received?

Why is it that when people create these topics it usually ends up in the OP getting neg trust? Now a self admitted cheater outs himself. When will people learn?

I ended up going with this as a parlay; no guts, no glory:

NCAA basketball houston vs baylor o135.5
NBA Orlando ML or -7.5 if you really wanna gamble. Game vs Detroit who sucks balls

I do not guarantee a win, but these 2 games stick out like sore thumbs IMO. Good luck with whatever bet you make.

I got Orlando Magic @ -333 and Houston vs. Baylor O134 @ -112

This comes out to a combined Total Odds of +146, which puts me way over the minimum withdrawal amount. Don't worry yahoo, I won't blame you if I lose, lol.

Man, what a squeaker. Magic wins by 3 in the last few seconds of the game. So both bets won! Thanks @yahoo62278 you were spot on with these picks.

Good luck man. If it wins no need to tip me. If it loses, least the games will be more exciting if you're watching them.

Thanks again buddy. I tipped you merits instead. If you have a Counterparty wallet I'd like to send you a Bit Bowl team token of your choice.
Congrats on the win, glad you didn't gamble and give the points. I would have been on the edge of my seat watching the last 5 mins as close as it was. I may contact you in the future about a Bit Bowl token, thanks for the offer.

(old post deleted and replaced with this one)

Apparently you have 0.0025 btc blocked. If you want, I can send you this amount, in return you will bet the money that is in your account on the sporting event that I indicate. If the match is victorious, you will be able to withdraw money and transfer the winnings to me.

Thanks for your offer, that's nice/brave of you. I was about to take you up on it but when I clicked on "Deposit" I saw this:

Due to network congestion, BTC deposits must be a minimum of 5 mBTC.

They must have implemented this rule after I made my last deposit, sometime around November of last year. Oh well.

I think I know which sportbook you are referring. It seems to be one of the casinos I have worked with. I have to check if they have tipping feature (on phone, so can't check and I can't remember either). If they have, feel free to DM me. I can get you LTC for BTC.

No, that's not the one, but thank you for your offer.

Thanks everyone else for your suggestions! Will be interesting to see how it goes.
Good luck man. If it wins no need to tip me. If it loses, least the games will be more exciting if you're watching them.

The Bitroul as a very Fairness casino brings emails to avoid that .

     www.bitroul.com

you claim to be fair but did not address what Yahoo says that you can escrow that funds
so players may try that competition without anything in thinking about being paid or not, and yes this
might be a small amount to not pay but remember that you are luring possible regular players here by
joining that event.
@OP you could relieve everyones worries about getting paid if they complete the challenge by escrowing the $100 prize. Or by escrowing more if multiple people can win. People are also confused on how to claim?

I'm getting all sorts of errors when I play and the email after every bet is a bit annoying. The FAQ is a bit empty too, not sure what the max bet is?
Second this  escrowing the prize .
It's a free contest and probably should be ran in games and rounds to avoid the moderators deleting this thread. I would also like to know why the owner chose to only answer 1 person? Why didn't they answer me or Bitinity especially regarding why another thread?
