401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICO rating site on: April 05, 2018, 01:13:31 AM
Hello, i am searching for best ICO rating site, can someone share it please?
I like ico bench the most because of the wide variety of ico that they review and the interface is nice, I also often check coin gecko to see the hype surrounding the project for flipping purpose. I used to watch crypto crush review for upcoming ico but they only review a few icos with most demand so there's a lot that aren't covered by them.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: hold or sell? help me on: April 04, 2018, 02:57:08 AM
Currently I own a lot of altcoin, I bought them at ico. My account is being downgraded several times. There are many people who say bitcoin will continue to decrease, so altcoin prices also decreased compared to USDT. So now, should I sell them and wait for the price to buy back? Give me advice  Sad Sad
If the price already decreased so much than the ico price then you should just hold it through the bear market and wait until the next bull run. If you still want to sell then pick some with great potential both in team and idea and hold it, you can sell the rest. You invest in ico for the long run, don't forget about that so don't let short term price movements affect your decision.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I give up earning money from ICO on: April 03, 2018, 03:18:30 AM
What happens to you? Can you tell me more? I can give you some solutions?
I invest in an ICO introduced in my country. So I pour my money in this. The leader of this team run away
ICO from the same country doesn't guarantee you that the project is legit. You don't need to be nationalist and always support projects from your country. As long as there's money involved then you should always do research before investing in icos to prevent something like this from happening.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Does participating from an airdrop got you big rewards? on: April 03, 2018, 03:00:55 AM
No,until now the only airdrop where I participated and got quite a lot of money is the etc airdrop last year when airdrop is booming. After that there's several eToken airdrops that are quite valuable but after some time the token from airdrop become useless and has no value so it is definitely not worth your time.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be accepted in shops by 2025? on: April 02, 2018, 05:36:46 AM
I want it to happen earlier but 2025 is a fine because there's still a lot of time to stabilize and inform people about crypto. By 2025 most people already know crypto so adoption won't be hard anymore and I guess the government already make regulations to support crypto.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can ico projects overtake current popular crypto ? on: April 02, 2018, 03:28:47 AM
Of course they can as long as the idea is great and they execute it perfectly. There's a lot of icos that have a great idea but failed to deliver. The popular coin right now also comes from ico like ethereum, nem etc so it's definitely possible to do that. So be patient with your investment because everything takes time especially in crypto.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We do not need government and bank any more on: April 02, 2018, 12:35:37 AM
That won't happen, I agree that blockchain can change a lot of things for good but government still important for daily life because they create law etc, if there's no law then there will be chaos. Bank also still an important part of our  life and it need a lot of time until blockchain will take over because right now the adoption is still slow.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you find interesting ICO ? on: April 01, 2018, 02:33:08 PM
Where do you find interesting ICO or crypto projects to invest ? Here on bitcointalk announcements or on other websites related to new ICO  announcements !
Sometimes I found them on this forum by browsing the ann section and I also often look at coin gecko because they have a good list of ongoing, upcoming ico and the hype around them including the number of people in telegram group, view, Twitter etc so it's a good website to monitor hype around the ico.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it better to buy during ICO or Market? on: April 01, 2018, 01:44:12 PM
I prefer to buy at presale/ico because the bonus that you get is bigger and you won't worry much about the price at exchange because your base price is way lower. But keep in mind that you also has to consider other thing like the quality of the project and the demand for the token otherwise the price at exchange will down a lot.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can something free be a scam? on: April 01, 2018, 08:59:34 AM
What is free ico because I've never heard that before. For airdropa, it can be scam if they don,'t send the token to the participant as they already filled the form with their private information. It is also dangerous because the project can sell people' s information in bulk.
411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one you like to invest bitcoin or Altcoin ? on: April 01, 2018, 03:56:06 AM
I invest in both of them but i put more in alts because it has bigger gains compared to bitcoin. Both are great investment for long term as long as you choose great alts as there's a lot of project with potential that failed to deliver their promises. Also hold some bitcoin because it's still the main crypto and almost everything depends on bitcoin price movement.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token distribution using KYC verification on: March 31, 2018, 07:18:03 AM
several bounty projects, are now beginning to implement KYC on the distribution of their tokens
when I send my identity card is this safe? could it be misused?
Is this for bounty or the one who participated in their ico? If it's for ico then i think it's fine because they want to avoid getting into trouble with the government. For bounty it's also fine to do it because there's people who join with multiple accounts and with kyc the number will be reduced. Kyc is fine as long as they only use your data to verify the distribution and not selling it to other people.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you learn about other cryptos? on: March 30, 2018, 04:12:14 PM
There's too many coins on cmc so picking up a random coin may not be the best way to learn. I always search for what kind of coin that i am curious about like privacy, dividen, logistic or the one about banking. After that i read through their website and i will read the whitepaper if i find something interesting. Telegram chat is a great place especially if you have a good crypto discussion channel.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptos will die without new participants! on: March 30, 2018, 01:58:11 PM
Let's also face it that to the end of last year people were really crazy about icos and it caused a great ico season that's not healthy as everyone is flipping through each ico to earn profit. Heck last year at march there's only less than 10 icos going on at the same time so right now i think the participant is still a lot.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you surprised at the price of ETH? on: March 29, 2018, 02:15:25 PM
I am not surprised since the last bull run took it so high so i expect the price will go down hard once we enter bear market. Also almost every ico use eth for their funding and i believe they will convert the eth to usd to protect their project's development fund and it will drive the price further down. The ico craze also seems like it started to quiet down so the demand for eth starting to go down.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hitbtc unrealistic deposit and withdrawal fees on: March 29, 2018, 02:01:27 PM
That's not even the bigger problem, what annoys me the most is that sometimes you can't trade all the coin that you've deposited because they only allow trading with x number of token per transaction, usually 5 10 or 100 so that means if i deposit a odd number of coin then i'm screwed. The volume also small so it's a bit hard to sell a large number of coins.
417  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this basically just another way to make money? on: March 28, 2018, 02:26:41 PM
I also think crypto is just another way to make money, at least until the goverment support the tech behind it. It's a normal situation because theres's not much adoption from the technology especially in developing country so a lot of people is in for the money, not the tech and what it's going to bring into our life. Maybe in a few years this few will change after we see the uses of blockchain in real life.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ERC20 token Coinbase will list first? on: March 28, 2018, 02:08:46 PM
I think 0x (ZRX) will hit the Coinbase platform at first. The reason is that 0x project founder is also a team member of Coinbase.

What do you guys think or have any other strong project with a valid reason why they'll list it first?

P.S. Coinbase has recently announced of listing ERC20 tokens in the upcoming months.

I think they will list one of this three, EOS, 0x or Omisego, the reason is EOS has huge trading volume and can bring a lot of profit if they list it, the same can be said about the other 2 although their trading volume aren't as big as EOS. The one that get listed will definitely get a huge benefit and possibly an immediate price bump.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: March 10, 2018, 06:54:45 AM
Because you are holding crap coin and you trust that hodl meme a lot. If you sell your coins at the last bull run then you should've earned a lot. Not to mention that you are probably holding esp, not esp2 (the new fork) so you should follow news while holding. Hold is good but you should also know when to take profit and after that you can buy back lower.
420  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Airdrop Jaman Now!!Bagaimana pendapat kalian? on: February 28, 2018, 08:36:45 AM
