I'll do that (after all the backups are done, dont want to loose anything).  Fired up my Mac OS X daemon, same result, error, so seems to be OS independent (at least for Ubuntu and OS X)

The version 32509 is throwing me an error here:

When typing i0coind getinfo it shows:

I guess thats the reason the download isnt working anymore. Any ideas (I have enought memory, some 4GB free)?

Same here, several larger transactions are not getting any confirmations, have been sitting around for hours still showing 0 confirmations but subsequent smaller transactions are being process correctly. So what happens to those "old" transactions with 0 confirmations?

I use Ruby On Rails.  Web development up and running in no-time with lots of build in security features (SQL injection, etc.), tons of tools (so called GEMS) around that cover almost any topic you can think of. But if you do, I strongly recommend to do the development on OS X or Linux, too many limitations on Windows.
For database, MySQL is the most cost effective solution.

I am running on Ubuntu (11.04) 64Bit, I got all in all 8GB memory, usually around 3GB is free and the daemon uses roughly 685 MB (VIRT) or 497 MB (RES).

My I0coin deamon dies typically once a week, anyone else facing the same problem?

I0coin is merge mined at mmpool.bitparking.com (as well as ixcoin, namecoin and devcoin).

In just a few days the GG wallet's memory consumption went up from 1.5GB to 2GB. Something is happening in the chain, no way of being able to support it under these circumstances.

The GG wallet is currently using 1.5GB memory on my Linux machine. Can someone adjust the code to reduce the memory consumption drastically otherwise it becomes unfeasable to run it in the near future.
