401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Microcash a scam? on: May 12, 2012, 09:41:20 PM
I think a better approach for coins redistribution would be to create thresholds for three classes of accounts:
1) spam/dust account x < 0.5 mc
2) low income account  0.5 < x < 10000 mc
3) high income account x > 10000 mc

Then the rules would be the following:
 - spam/dust accounts gravitate to zero over time (decay with fees)
 - low income accounts gravitate towards middle threshold 10000 mc (grow with interest)
 - high income accounts gravitate towards middle threshold 10000 mc (decay with fees)

EDIT: plus add the rule that if any account hasn't been spent from for a period of time,
the interest (if any) drops to zero, the fees start to apply (if haven't before).
This will allow dead accounts no matter of which class to eventually decay to zero.

Just my two cents.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get Ready for "MicroCash" : The most advanced Crypto-based Currency yet! on: May 11, 2012, 11:42:54 AM
If microcash works as currently described in OP, then it's possible that certain accounts will become black holes over time.
If a large account (with interest > than fee) goes out of business (the owner dies or something else) then it will never decay, but instead will keep accumulating coins from the rest of the network getting even bigger.

I think interest should drop to zero If an account hasn't been spent from for a period of time.

But what of the earth WAS flat and then we "thought" it into being round. Lulz

Nice idea Smiley and there is no way to proof otherwise!
I see it as if we collectively vote for the version of reality we believe in with our mental hash-power Smiley
That's why mainstream media tries so hard to make us believe something we don't really like for the benefit of a few.
Not anymore!
404  Other / Politics & Society / Insider claims mass arrests of Globalists, Bankers, Elite on: April 09, 2012, 10:35:40 PM
It seems there is a secret project going on since mid-seventies to prepare a legal foundation to take down a global cabal:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXwTiKQcUtE

Well if quantum consciousness theory is correct, more people think about it, more likely it will happen.
So all you need to do is just think about it, everyday! Smiley

PS: yet another video on the topic:

Keep thinking! Smiley

If you're interested in what's really going on with the planet, here the best explanation I could find:
"Kryon - Changes on Earth"  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4aT7LCfDcg

You'll find a small surprise (a metaphor) if you're patient enough to make it through the first half of the video.
Just my 2 bits.

I think those things happen only if you believe they'll happen.

Exactly!
Here is a video (in three parts) called "12 dimensions of consciousness":

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iiIEyxZFtxw (part 1)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KaBPBzlX2Y (part 2)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cq5KO-uQack (part 3)

It's pretty advanced though, so only watch if you think you're ready to handle the truth.
408  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Major Ed Dames (ex-CIA) talks about The Big Event on: March 12, 2012, 06:30:17 PM
According to Mj. Dames, "Satan is real, a being of light. God is very dispersed."

Interesting, so if we take the bitcoin analogy, God is a distributed system which we're all part of as peers, while Satan is a rogue miner with army of Demons (botnets) trying to hijack the system Smiley

Also the following concepts of God seem to agree in general with that view.

In Hermeticism:
"While All is in The All, it is equally true that The All is in All."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_All

and in Cognitive-Theoretic Model of the Universe
where reality is a process of resolving a paradox of self-inclusion in a "set of all sets"
http://www.megafoundation.org/CTMU/Articles/IntroCTMU.htm
http://www.ctmu.org/

So basically, we are both "the creator" and "the created" at the same time.
Now we need to understand where this rogue miner came from and how to deal with him.

THE PEOPLE ARE GOING TO LOOSE SO BAD IN 2012  Cheesy

fixed it for you.
Funny how you equate Republicans to people.

I equate people to people. I have absolutely no political affiliation. I dislike them all equally.

The people are always the losers in our current political system. The left-right, lib-con, dem-rep paradigm is a farce. An illusion of "choice" given to us so we can be more easily controlled and divided and conquered, mostly so we do not concentrate on them and the system inside of the box... the real problem. They both have identical asperations and policy at the top echilons of the parties and feed us meaningless small issues to fight over to keep us preoccupied. Actually the problem is us... The People... For our apathy and disinterest.

How many of you actually research and investigate candidates, their writings, speeches, and voting records prior to forming an opinion or voting ?

Republicans (as all other politicians) are not people, they are reptilians, but I guess you all know that already Smiley
410  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Major Ed Dames (ex-CIA) talks about The Big Event on: March 07, 2012, 02:58:46 PM
They want you to believe these ridiculous stories in order to distract you from the truth.

Remote viewing = satellite surveillance technology.

Killshot event = energy weapon

It's funny, I've been thinking exactly about this lately.
You can only be so good at predicting stuff if you engineer it Smiley

And yet I believe its not that simple... anyway there is nothing to be afraid of.
This event is probably why we're all here on Earth at this time, we just happen to forget about it after being born.
411  Other / Politics & Society / Major Ed Dames (ex-CIA) talks about The Big Event on: March 04, 2012, 09:24:46 PM
Here is some interesting video that I found:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKMlHzKmCQU

In short Ed was the head of CIA's secret Remote Viewing program focusing primarily on intelligence gathering using psychic abilities. However once they started looking for future events they started picking up on something really big - they called it The Killshot or Sun's superflare. As the information leaked other governments started preparing for it and have been ever since, hence underground bunkers, strategic food reserves, seed vaults etc.

To better identify the time frame of the event they created a list of the events preceding the killshot:
1) The largest in recorded history Sun's flare to date "The Shot Across The Bow" (happened in 2003)
2) Mutated crop fungus originated in Africa and destroying a lot of crops (happened in 2007)
3) Nuclear reactor failure in Japan due to earthquake (happened in 2011)
4) General economic downturn and gold reaching 2000 USD (happened not so long ago)

Things yet to happen according to their list:
1) North Korea explodes nuclear weapon
2) Space shuttle-like craft is downed by meteor shower

In addition, here is nice Q&A session with Ed from early times touching on controversial topics like Aliens, Crop Circles, Angels, etc...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbczumNeedE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQrAG0ZgWe0
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIkUV64m9Vc

What do you think about the possibility of The Killshot event and Remote Viewing in general?
Is it too far fetched or there is something to it?
Is being ex-CIA enough credibility of a source to pay attention to it?

I myself found these videos fascinating!
412  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Defying Mining Probabilities with Willpower on: February 20, 2012, 12:33:44 AM
Double-slit experiment implies that we literally create reality (keep in mind that a lone experiment is not the sole basis for my reasoning).  This experiment shows that at the quantum level, there are observable and detectable changes directly influenced by observation.  But, when you scale up to macro levels, this effect becomes increasingly smaller until it is undetectable at the systemic level.

Believe it or not, this implies that no reality exists independent of an individual's perception of it.  The changes are undetectable at the largest level because you ARE the largest level, and thus you don't notice the changes because you are the change.  In this way, a paradox is formed wherein change at the micro-level implies a static reality, and where no change at the macro-level implies pervasive, Universal change, hence the wave-particle paradox.

TL;DR:  Everyone is essentially a mini-universe, like a holographic or isomorphic image of the entire Universe, or the set of all sets.
You have failed to produce a rebuttal to my argument and you respond by changing the topic? How does this have anything to do with a human changing the outcome of a random process? You're pretty much out of arguments and now you're trying to derail the topic to make yourself look smart. Roll Eyes

On topic: that doesn't change the fact hashing is a mathematical operation that produces the same result every time. Although the output from a hashing function is random, there's nothing you can do to affect it. If you can produce actual results (no theoretical physics theories, please) that a human can change the outcome of a random function, I will believe you.

With your intention you will not change the outcome of the hash function itself, but you will choose a different reality in which your hashing device will process a different set of data resulting in a solved block.

Our science is only getting to the point of understanding these phenomena, and providing any sort of proof will be very subjective. If you see something with your own eyes is it an ultimate proof? Someone might just say it was a hallucination...

If you are interested in what might be possible once we reach the next stage, check out this:

I'm afraid, it will make our current science obsolete.
413  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Population Control and Globalism on: February 19, 2012, 11:59:31 PM
All I know is that according to my experience, shifting my attitude has brought success without even really trying.  I'm a lot like you, "boss," in the sense that I spent the vast majority of high school and my undergrad college years despising authority, loathing the hoops I was seemingly forced to jump through by spending 18+ years in an educational bureaucracy so I could actually get my foot in the door somewhere, watching the news and media with increasing distaste for what I thought was the obvious downfall of societal values and thinking that everyone was ignorant to the things that would make the world a better place.  Rap music?  Fuck rappers, fuck the Kardashians, fuck Jersey Shore, fuck Enron, fuck Bush, and fuck you if you don't see that I'm a critical thinker and that my passion for answering life's most important questions makes me more wise, sophisticated, and just than you will ever be.  Take off the goggles dude, you're all fucking blind.

But, when I started to shift my attitude to see the good in all I had considered bad, to see the just in the unjust, to take sole and utter responsibility for my well-being, and, most importantly, to recognize the ultimate and pervasive freedom of my own mind by understanding the power of interpretation, amazing things started to happen.  I define reality, and through defining it I literally construct it.  I can be the richest man or the poorest man, but the choice is mine and mine alone to decide which I will be.

There is no "out there" independent of what's "in here."  Projection is not only a defense mechanism, it's a truism, and I realized that the only reason I saw authority as trying to manipulate and control everything is because it was the same approach I was taking.  I was trying to control and manipulate by preaching my ideals to anyone I could find, especially late at night when I was left alone to my thoughts and they were bursting to get out.  How could they not agree with me?  How could they not see my ideas are special?  How could they not understand that the depth of my thoughts was an obvious correlation to my unwavering desire to make the world a better place?

As it turns out, I had simply invested too much of myself -- my emotions, my ego, my values, etc. -- in these ideas, and by preaching them I was simply being selfish.  I wanted to change the world in a way that my ego wanted, and I wanted to make the world just according to what my ego considered just.  I was the person I was criticizing.  I was a CEO, Bush, Enron, a rap star, a Kardashian, and a Jersey Shore nut all wrapped into one, and I didn't like myself then.  It took me a long time to figure out why.  In fact, I'm still figuring it out.  I advise you to do the same.

The words of true wisdom!
I back this up, it really works.
414  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Defying Mining Probabilities with Willpower on: February 19, 2012, 11:11:17 PM
Isn't it a mainstream science already that tells us that consciousness defines the reality?
I'm talking about "Double Slit Experiment" in quantum physics.
In this experiment the electron only takes the form of matter when there is a conscious observer,
without which it forms an interference pattern being a superposition of all possible outcomes.

So yes, the willpower is there and it works, there is no doubt about that, it forms the reality around you.

As to the "reliable" or "credible" sources, the only source of knowledge is your own consciousness
and the ability to connect the dots while getting information from as many sources as possible.
If you only limit yourself with "official" sources it's an invitation for abuse.
The real power is decentralization, this is how bitcoin works after all.

I think Matthew is playing with you guys, i.e. expressing the opinion he really doesn't stand for.
I do that sometimes as well just to see where the conversation is going.

Every sane person would understand by now that all the crap that we've been through and have been taught in the school is a delusion.
It felt different when we were younger, but I always had this gut feeling that something was wrong.

418  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The free speech poll on: February 16, 2012, 12:36:56 PM
And it seems the plurality here believes its fine to pay for killing a human being.

What it seems is that you have some serious comprehension limitations - and they are not language related.

If you, [specific person], kill five blue-eyed people right now, I'll give you 200 bitcoins.    - 13 (35.1%)
All of the above should be legal.    - 15 (40.5%)

Combined total of 75% believe it should be legal to pay for a killing.

No... the poll is about being able to make the statements.

75% of people believe you (Hawker) should not receive a violent response since you (Hawker) just made those statements.

I think you messed up with the numbers here a bit.
Only 36% of people suggest that everything of the above should be legal, not 75%.
The rest 64% suggest that certain statements and all below (except the last one) should be banned/punished.
So the second to last statement which offers the payment is OPPOSED by 64% of voters here.

This topic is interesting, what if we consider freedom of speech as the method to spread the information about the intent of an individual.
So basically by allowing a person to communicate freely about offering a payment for killing blue-eyed people we let the society know about his intention and allow it (society) to handle the situation in a non-violent way (I support ribuck here).

So would it be better if that person would secretly made an offer and no one would ever know why blue-eyed people are getting killed?
Also is there difference here between public speech and free speech? If I make an offer to somebody by sending coded messages is it still a free speech?

420  Economy / Economics / Re: 10 Things That Every American Should Know About The Federal Reserve on: February 15, 2012, 12:23:28 AM
I know some people on this thread don't like watching videos,
but here is what Wayne Paul (Ron Paul's brother) has to say about Fed:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAztH_mkGwo

This is way too important to let it just slip under the radar, so I'll quote Wayne Paul here:

Part 1:
In 1913 The Federal Reserve Act was passed through the House, where 3 members of Congress were on the floor, at that time they only needed a majority of votes to pass it.

Part 2:
20 years later in 1933 under Roosevelt the United States was declared bankrupt and in 1933 the Federal Reserve private bank says:
Ok, U S A, what are you gonna pledge as collateral on the debt you owe me?
What happened by 1936? Does anybody know?

Part 3:
In 1936 we instituted Social Security System and You and I and our children and our children's children were pledged as collateral on the debt of our government to the Federal Reserve and that's where we are at today.

Part 4:
Took 20 years to make this country bankrupt and since then our government has operated under EMERGENCY POWERS of our government.
It is NOT THE PRESIDENT that makes the decisions in this country, it's the SECRETARY OF TREASURY who turned around and is put in there by THE FEDERAL RESERVE to manage THE BANKRUPTCY. We have been IN BANKRUPTCY ever since, ..., that's where we are at today.

Wow, that actually explains a lot!
I remember Timothy Geithner current secretary of Treasury went to Europe a few months back to participate in crisis talks, and members of EU parliament asked him if this is also an opinion shared by president Obama, he said: "He is not in charge, I am". I'll try to find a video, but can't promise...

Edit:
