401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New nvidia gpus - wait or buy 1080tis? on: April 21, 2018, 04:14:28 AM
apart from NVIDIA itself usually distributors and sellers will manipulation stocks and prices if they see in the market demand is very high but not all distributors or sellers do it there still have the seller with a normal price or sell the GPU isn't too expensive.

are all those cards shown in device manager? but 4 cards only that can use for mining?

or 4 cards only that has detected by the system?

404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: mining in vps for beginner on: April 20, 2018, 01:04:44 PM
Mining on vps will only spend your money to rent vps bro, because the result will not be much. my advice, than you are mining with vps, you better build RIG. Start with a little money
wait..atm isn't the right time to build a mining rig unless it doesn't care about ROI better keep holding the money and keep watching the market.

~snip

WOW, that's a lot of words to say absolutely nothing Smiley

his (@blacksnapper94) words copy/paste, I do not know why the answer does not have a basic knowledge of OP questions except if taking articles from others you (@blacksnapper94) must put a reference from the original article

Copy/Paste

The CPU is the Central Processing Unit of your computer. Intel and AMD produce the vast majority of them. CPUs are essentially the brains of the computer. “It performs all the tasks that we would typically associate with computing,” such as saving a document by writing it to your hard disk. “Most of the other computer components are really there to support the operation of the CPU.”
When Bitcoin was first released, you could mine 100 coins a day using just your CPU. Unfortunately, today it’s impossible to mine Bitcoin with your CPU because cpu mining has been defeated with more reliable asic mining.
CPU design optimizes for quickly switching between different tasks. In addition to the CPU’s agility, it also has the advantage of ubiquity. If you have a computer, you have a CPU. Thus, if a coin allows CPU mining, there’s less power in the hands of large mining farms.
However, the hashing required for Proof of Work is a repetitive mathematical calculation. CPUs have fewer arithmetic logic units, circuits that perform arithmetic operations, and thus are relatively slow when it comes to performing large amounts of calculations.

Like what others have already said, it is a false alarm. All miners are seen as "malware" because they use your CPU resources. But you have nothing to worry about as long as you download well-known miners from the official source.
Most well-known is Claymore's miner or EWBF/DSTM miners which can be downloaded from these forums directly.

yeah, that's a false alarm, do not worry if you download on the official web because when I first mine I have same a problem (if a case of Claymore) and I have a suggestion for miner better mining rig don't use for anything except only mining software such Claymore, atikmdag, GPU-Z.

for @remauto1187ma

No offense, I am correcting your quote because there is missing code

Code:
[quote author=whitrzac link=topic=3329560.msg35082370#msg35082370 date=1524139426]

if you want to quote there a few codes that you need to pay attention:

Code:
[quote author= #value link=topic=#value #msg date=#value]

And

Code:
[/quote]

408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Miner virus detect on: April 20, 2018, 06:24:04 AM
2 months ago I found on my computer usually for mining software using browser then I uninstall a browser or you can check in service if you see any unusual program you have to kill it if downloading any mining software must be downloaded on the official web or viewed in this forum.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best CPU to mine with on: April 19, 2018, 05:56:06 AM
I think mining with cpu not worth. Better you mining with gpu or asic. Because if you mining use cpu there is a lot problems, such as the cpu will work hard and make it to short live (will die soon). But if you want to mining with small capital, i can suggest go to use mining cloud. Smiley

be careful with mining cloud because of many scams, if you want giving suggestions about that, you must be giving an example legit of mining cloud because I saw a lot newbie have been investing for that without knowing whether scams or no.

be careful mate if investing in cloud mining
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best CPU to mine with on: April 19, 2018, 04:35:50 AM
Monero V7 probably the most profitable at the moment?
Not the most profitable but a bit profit compared to ETH 4 days ago trying to mine xmr using GPU and the result doesn't make happy let alone using CPU without GPU, I don't have time to think about what will to get.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best CPU to mine with on: April 18, 2018, 07:48:14 AM
if it means to mine without GPU I think it's not the best but if it means not to mine yes it's the best.

atm, mine with GPU doesn't sound good let alone use CPU without GPU but technically CPU can use mining like ETN, XMR coin

but if in context of profit personally I still doubt whether profit or not.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Being careful about how much power you run through power meters on: April 18, 2018, 06:20:59 AM
Many people in pursuit of profit forget about safety rules when connecting electrical appliances. I don't understand why you need to measure power 24/7. your equipment consumes about the same power and you can't change that. A melted socket can cause a fire. Why do you measure power if you are not using this data?

for me, the case isn't a coincidence it doesn't mean having to measure power 24/7 and still plug in the power socket but sometimes get lazy (human factor) to unplug the device. -this statment for me not for OP-
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Buying GPU.. need suggestions on: April 17, 2018, 04:12:37 AM
Hey guys
actually i am preparing my first small mining rig but my budget is kinda low..
soo i need suggestion on which gpu i should buy. i am from india so online prices are ridiculously high
the best prices i can get from local market is

nvidia gtx 1080ti 11gb - $1191
nvidia gtx 1070 8gb - $641
nvidia gtx 1060 3gb - $290
nvidia gtx 1050ti - $213
nvidia gtx 1050 2gb - $152

amd rx 580 8gb - $412
amd rx 570 4gb - $400

My max budget is $2100 for gpu

what will be your pick in this budget with these prices for maximum profit and future proof ?
Well electricity cost here is $0.07 kWh

this topic is in the wrong section, you should write this topic in Mining (Altcoins). if you don't know how to move a topic you can see this a picture:

then click the drop-down and select the Mining (Altcoins)
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Being careful about how much power you run through power meters on: April 16, 2018, 11:48:53 AM
Well, man, you are really lucky one, imagine what could happen if that thing not just melt itself and your socket, but start a fire?! that would be a total nightmare.  I hope everything would be ok with your rig as well.
and lesson learned,  no power meter 24/7  )

same with you and I hope his Rig is fine

yeah, it's @OP content that is very simple but has many notices and resuscitates members including me about the risks which we initially considered trivial.

415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Being careful about how much power you run through power meters on: April 16, 2018, 05:28:56 AM
I passively left my power meter plugged in 24/7 while mining because i thought it would be more fun to be able to check it 24/7. Turns out it was a bad idea as this morning i woke up to a blown/melted socket and powermeter. Hopefully my rig isn't damaged.

Another reason to not keep it on 24/7 is for savings. The power meter probably consumes a negligible amount but even at 1 watt per day, that is still money saved looking at the big picture (365 days a year).

thanks for waking me up in fact, the power meter could be melt and require a power consumption so far I never unplug the power meter and not aware even that device need a power.  Grin
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can I mining using mobile phone? on: April 15, 2018, 01:01:14 PM
No offense, I just suggest adjusting the image (using the width and height properties) to make it not too large, like this:

Code:
[img width=500 height=700]https://sv1.uphinhnhanh.com/images/2018/04/14/Screenshot_2018-04-14-16-50-19.png[/img]

and when using "quote" if there is a large picture it's better to use  "snip" or "..".

Yes. Now you can mine ETN with android phone. Go to Google store to download Electroneum app. Register account on website, then login app and mining.

- I have old phone samsung A5 2015 mined 3.3 ETN after 6h.

using "snip" or "..."

P/S: use my refferal code: 8A8EF6 to earn extra ETN. Tks  Cheesy

417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Melted the PSU cable and riser adaptor... on: April 15, 2018, 10:48:44 AM
I experienced the same problem 7 months ago, every single month I bought a PSU to replace it up to 3 months 3 PSU. I've been frustrated with that the problems, all the ways I have been done for the fix including advice members like above.

finally, I have found a problem is an electrical voltage in my home not stable (after using a watt meter like Kill A Watt Meter in the USA) because of a cable used not corresponding a procedure or standard for electricity voltage used after the electrician replaced the cable, Mining Rig back to normal and the PSU or USB Riser cable never melt again.
Which cable did electrician replaced ? I want to know this as voltage is not stable in my house too.

Maybe every country is different in electrical voltage and cable criteria in used but this is the power voltage and cable criteria in my country.

In a nutshell, my mining room has 4400W electrical current and uses a cable of 2x10 mm2 0.6 / 1 kv then replaced with a cable of 4x6mm2 0.6 / 1 (1,2) kv..

These the pictures:

Before
After

the point is better use a cable exceeds the load passed to be more secure and anticipate if there is additional power to the front.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can I mining using mobile phone? on: April 14, 2018, 06:32:50 AM
Minergate is a decent, easy to use app that lets you choose from many different altcoins. Your phone will be unusable when it's mining however.

for this software is very easy to use, yes I agree but for the problem, Minergate has issued a scam when Payment I still hesitate.

Monero has relatively the biggest profits right now for mobile mining. If it is not too much of a hassle for you it is certainly profitable.
Phones draw between 3-5 watts FYI.

to my knowledge, XMR isn't the biggest profit but a bit profit when compared to mine in ETH I also use GPU for one week ago and this time switch to ETC. so I don't believe XMR is the biggest profit if mined using a mobile phone.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can I mining using mobile phone? on: April 14, 2018, 06:11:10 AM
actually, you can do it mined using a mobile phone like ETN coin mining but personally, I don't recommend any coin mining using a mobile
phone for the reason don't use mobile to mine, you can see this thread section has already many topics similar to your question.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: rx 550 hashrate ETH on: April 14, 2018, 05:57:05 AM
Come on dude,

see:

why are you still answering this thread has long been created and @OP can't confirm whether the problem has been solved or not?

let's assume that the problem is solved and suggest to @OP lock the topic.
