The last month has been a rollecoaster ride for XVG holders. The privacy-focused cryptocurrency made headlines with a mysterious fundraiser and a 51% attack on the Verge Network, and the XVG token benefited greatly by the publicity. XVG started the month at around $0.04 and rallied to $0.091, where it is sitting at the time of writing. The token has been a hot commodity in anticipation of the controversial April 17 announcement. The Verge team is promising to disclose the details of the supposedly major partnership next Tuesday.

Verge has seen more trading activity on Binance than several cryptocurrencies that have a substantially higher market capitalization. In the last 24 hours, the XVG/BTC pair was the ninth most popular trading pair on the world’s busiest cryptocurrency exchange, and produced $87.4 million in trading volume, surpassing the likes of NEO/BTC, ICX/BTC, LTC/BTC, and IOT/BTC.

XVG is currently the 21st cryptocurrency in the market cap rankings, and retains a market capitalization of $1.35 billion. The 20th place is occupied by the surging OmiseGO with a market cap of $1.36 billion, so we could see Verge achieve a higher position very soon.

WEEKLY UPDATE [W.15]

Hi Guys! It is Friday and for the first time in a long while the sun is actually shining. So what has happened this week;

The logo, colours and designs are all done which has resulted in a beautiful website we can proudly showcase to the world. The last phase of this overhaul is the animations and these are being done by an external company. As soon as these are ready the tech team will do the rest. Our realistic time indication is between the end of April (earliest) and Consensus (latest). We’ve shown the Alpha testers the new branding/website/Alpha-design for feedback and they were all very enthusiastic. MyBit is finally getting the presence it deserves and we can't wait to present all our hard work to you.

Some great reads this week! First of all, an interview where Ian and Tom talked to impakter.com about the future of technology and MyBit’s potential. Secondly our Monday blog was a great read too. Those are not even our words but Medium’s as they put our story on a prominent place on their Medium Digest list this week.
