I would love to be a pig who bought @2$ and was greedy enough not to sell @30$ 120$ and 266$

405  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: December 06, 2013, 06:00:27 PM

Now here is the whole history since Bitcoin' inception.

Forgive my ignorance, but where is wave v in that graph? I absolutely differ to masterluc and have been a fan of his analysis for a while, but could not the 266 bubble have been said wave v making this top be the historic 3 of 5 and we are just entering wave 4?

Thats what I was thinking too. Another big wave up left.

Please forgive my ignorance, but why does it have do go so much down? This chart implies sub $10 prices. I doubt this will happen.

You are forgiven  Cheesy

With TA you can draw nearly anything you want. Whether it is actually correct or relavent to past performance is another thing entirely.

We are in a place analogue to the end of February now Smiley

image didnt load, but yes it somehow feels that way
408  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: December 06, 2013, 09:05:38 AM
What exactly do you mean by 'end'? Value getting halved? double digits? pennies?
End of first historical bullish trend 2010-2013.

I disagree. The recent corrections range from healthy after-hyperbole "normal market" corrections to media-driven overreaction (china central bank). Technically double-top (1250 gox) is bad, but we also have double bottom (850 gox). I think we will enter huge triangle between 850 and 1250 which will take some time to resolve. Maybe around January we will exit to the upside and go for 2-3k in Q1 2014.

This.

I really enjoy Lucif's technical analysis, but most recently I find he is falling back into his old pattern of wanting the market to do what he thinks it is going to do rather than using his considerable skills to read it. As far as I can tell there is absolutely no justification, especially from a fundamental perspective of why we would all of a sudden see a turn around of 4 years of adoption curve/ price increase. I would love to hear however why I am wrong.
409  Economy / Auctions / Re: Bobs (famous!) House in Germany auction, take II ***3 DAYS LEFT*** on: December 05, 2013, 05:14:45 PM
i also canīt see what the current bid is? how should I give up a bid without knowing who is ahead at the moment?

I think my threads became a bit of a mess Sad

Well the house is still for auction. Any takers?

starting bid is $1?

indeed, what is starting bid?

Well done Lucif, calling tops twice is pretty impressive.

Im not so convinced that this is going to be a long term drop, but even so if we go down 50% before heading back up thats great for you.
411  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 01, 2013, 07:12:01 AM
gox and china has nice triangle forming, well see soon enough, but i think this was an healthy correction and lows have been seen, time for new highs soon enough

yep descending volume shows us we will see panicking bears before the afternoon in the US.
412  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 01, 2013, 06:52:52 AM
A+ correction, would scoff again.

I lol'd
413  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: November 28, 2013, 04:23:56 PM

Yeah I've read the posts. But I dont think everyone who is buying a/o is thinking about buying litecoins will have also read them.
414  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: November 28, 2013, 03:49:41 PM
[edit2] even weirder, it looks like the people that dumped btc on btce escaped into litecoin... boy do i regret getting out of LTC...
I think the whole litecoin capitalization will run back into bitcoin soon pumping another price jump =)

I agree, but then again I've been wrong so far about litecoin. I think it has to do with the psychology of paying 4 digits for something. I dont think we will see litecoin fade until people starting using something smaller like bits.
415  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: November 27, 2013, 08:39:25 PM
both, lol, just looking at the silver chart here, if you had asked me a year ago if we would have ever seen 19 again I would have laughed in your face...now I'm holding out for 17

It's tempting to make a connection between bitcoin boom and metal bust, but the market sizes are too different. The $ flowing into XBT is negligible compared to the $ exiting the metals, right? I think it's plain old "manipulation" of gold & silver?

I dont know - somehow 6 billion moving into an asset over the course of a few months makes it hard for me to call that asset negligible in comparison to anything
416  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: November 27, 2013, 10:09:32 AM
After recent events I'm thinking this is not going to play out as it previously has and we could very well just level off for a little while before pushing $1,000+ (more like an inverse head & shoulders type pattern).

 Grin
417  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 22, 2013, 03:46:40 PM
Is this a massive breakout trying to happen? Anyone?

Sure looks like it to me. I thought it would take another few days, if that drop down to 375 was merely a correction... mother of god.

And he has pretty much nailed the structure so far. Kudos to Lucif... Its incredible how he turned from perma-bear to reasonable and mostly spot-on analyst Smiley

He was perma bear when it was a bear market, and was spot on back then too.

It's not his problem some of you didn't want to hear it's bears time at that point.

As mentioned above, he was definitely not spot on during this period. It was during this time that he got so many ignores because he was quite obviously trying to manipulate the market to his own desires rather than using his skills to factually interpret what he saw. He even admitted to this at some point later. Pretty much since the crash in April however (where he basically called the top) he has been doing pretty damn well in my opinion and could quite easily start a subscription service of his own should he so desire.
