401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Donald Trump sells $2.4 million worth of ETH on: January 29, 2024, 06:50:09 AM
Presidential candidate and the most popular leader of the United States, Donald Trump is unsurprisingly not a huge fan of crypto but it's found that he has been profiting from the crypto riches.
The Ethereum came from a NFT on Trump theme. Though trump was not associated with the project, he got royalties from it in the form of Ethereum. The project is licensed from the Trump's company to use Trumps name and features. The royalties were over 1075 which the trump team recently sold for $2.4 million.
The use of crypto by presidential candidate is a sign of easing up with crypto and we could further see candidates accepting donations via crypto.

He might be not a huge fan of crypto but he's interested with any possibilities that his investment will grow at since he look up those other influential people try to invest their money on crypto. We have Elon Musk first on the list so maybe he just try to figure out if this is good investment and I think the money he use is the one he can afford to lose then now he tries to liquidate his crypto asset since maybe he's still not satisfied with the result of acquiring it.

But we don't know the exact thing happening and where he really get that volume so there would be a lot of speculation to come with that. But I guess since he sold his asset I then maybe he's done with crypto for now but let see if this guys will comeback and try to participate again on any crypto investment activities.
402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for fun vs gambling for the financial benefit. on: January 27, 2024, 02:04:09 PM
People from different cultures gamble for different reasons. While some bet for fun, others do it to win money.

Lots of people like to gamble because they can win. Being motivated by money can make gaming less fun and more like work.

Individuals differ in how much gaming they can handle before it becomes dull. It's more fun for some to watch or play gambling games with small bets. When game causes problems with money or makes you do things over and over again, profit may have won over fun.

Good gaming combines risk and fun with limits on time and money. To keep gaming as a fun activity and not a problem with money or addiction, you need to know when it becomes unhealthy.

Maybe culture has play some rule but what I think have big contribution there is what they expect about gambling since for that there's so many people fall in different category. There are people especially those newbies find those information about gambling from famous personality then been told about exaggerated result that they can earn easily that's why they gamble and expect a lot that they can earn a lot of money on short period of time. But result came out not in favor to them since they experience some worst situation that they didn't expect and lose the money they deposit on those gambling sites.

Also there are people gamble because they just don't care about other things and want to have fun playing their favorite games since they want to get entertained.

Individuals really have difference since we can see them have different aims towards their gambling activities.

To ensure that they would really have fun while gambling they should assure that they will never experience what you have written their and they should always manage their expectations.
403  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💸Join BetFury Crypto Staking |🔥Get the highest APRs – up to 60% on: January 27, 2024, 09:42:24 AM

In the case of BFG, a stable exchange rate says nothing and doesn't indicate any prospects. The BFG price is not particularly volatile because almost all the circulating BFG supply is staked on the Betfury site. In other words, BFG holders don't want to sell BFG tokens and prefer to hold them for interest. This is not bad until some whale with a huge amount of BFG tokens decides to sell them.

It doesn’t have any trading volume either so this kind of holding is not helpful because they earn new BFG tokens added on circulating supply. This holding is really good if the reward they are getting is not BFG token itself that will not flood the supply.

Having no new demand while the supply is growing with same people holding will just make the value of the token decrease in long term. This is same principle with fiat losing its value to inflation. Supply is growing because of the increasing supply without any new liquidity entering in the market.

For long time BFG token discussion never ends since the dev didn't listen to the sentiment of people that's why it doesn't get any decent volume and no new people willing to hold their token since they know that devs ignoring their people asking some good developments on their token created. And as long as they are giving BFG token as you said as reward then expect people to dump it once they receive it, so they must think other way if they are serious also if they want people to be serious accumulating their tokens.

No demand is the result of their negligence for not taking care or satisfying those people thinking about acquiring their tokens and they can feel the result now since BFG doesn't get any hype since its like traders is avoiding their token and we don't see any people talk about this as one of the good option to have. Also I think whatever comments said by people even if this is good for them I think they won't listen since maybe they can't support the growth of their token anymore.
404  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: January 27, 2024, 08:07:49 AM
I would think that 3 months of an emergency fund would be about the bare minimum to have if you are going to start to act boldly.. and even with ONLY 3 months of an emergency fund, you gotta be careful about ever dipping into such emergency fund except for strict emergencies.

If you have 6 months of an emergency fund and you know that you are never going to let your emergency fund dip below 3 months unless you are int he midst of a true emergency, then you can be a lot more bold because you might even float one of the months so that you are mostly between 4-6 months in your emergency fund.

I guess my point, is to be careful if you are starting to get a lot of BTC investment and if you are starting to use more adventurous times of investing, including getting  a 30% advance of your pay for 3 months or any of those kinds of things, even though it might work out, you seem to be playing with fire if you only have 3 months emergency and you also get a 3 month advance for 30% of your income... it may well end up working out, but it does not seem like a good balance especially if you might be in a position that you don't want to end up getting forced into selling any of your BTC at some inconvenient time, for example when it might be dipping extensively.
I think the 3-month emergency fund is enough as long as we can maintain our cash flow so that your expenses and other sudden needs can be covered from the main cash flow, but when things are out of control in a tight sense then use the emergency fund as long as it can save you.

If the emergency fund is sufficient for 6 months then it is enough for them to be free in targeting aggressive investment levels and even if the emergency fund drops but it is still at the minimum limit, when the cash flow has stabilized, it may be possible to refill it again slowly so that the emergency fund returns all to hold for 6 months.

With those who use challenging investments, I think it needs to be felt because it will adjust in the future how the balance is more sensible including 30% of their total salary, I can only do it when the emergency fund is safe, say 6 months in the bag, then the level of aggression towards BTC must be done if it is not appropriate, the percentage will be lowered, if I am still able to continue because this depends on managing expenses and the percentage determined, the cash flow will be easy to manage.

For that we need to be careful and if we think about using our emergency funds just to buy bitcoin we should assure for ourselves that we are ready for the consequences of the action we made and we have huge understanding about the market also how bitcoin move. Since if we risk all of that and think about its fine since we expect bitcoin will go up then we possible be fucked up with that and might everything we have might blow up.

That's why aside for long preparation and having a emergency fund set much really better if we are also aggressive learning a lot of information needed before investing on bitcoin so that we can save up ourselves to any negative possibilities and we would not easily get affected if there's fud scattering then here we are having a lot of bitcoin holdings since we provably lose with that if caught up by fuds spreaded by some people who want to destroy the patience of people trying to hold their coins for long time.

With those challenges its better if we could balance all important things needed to do so that we would not came to the point touching our emergency fund just to have money to invest on bitcoin again. We also know how to manage on our finances so our bitcoin investment will be smooth.
405  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: January 26, 2024, 11:13:36 PM
I don't think is nice encouraging someone to invest on Bitcoin using his 30% of salary to invest on Bitcoin because there is every possibility that the investor could ran into trouble if the reserve fund is not enough to sustain him till he receives his next salary, so perhaps in as much as is advisable to take advantage of the Bitcoin price right now but shouldn't get overwhelmed by investing aggressively because is better to invest with the money we can easily afford without being tampered than investing with all the money we have and within a short while you end up selling it do to the lact of money to take care of other needs, however is only those that have structured one of there portfolio for Lump suming  I could easily advise to take advantage of the market because they have already taken all the measures before now.
There is no fixed percentage that is universal as regarding what to invest in Bitcoin. It is always to each his own; you are expected to work out what you will be comfortable to leave in Bitcoin, an amount that will not stop you from living your normal life. There are some people people whose 10% of their income is enough for their needs and they will still have surplus from it. Those are the people at the upper echelon of society that are making decent amount of money that are way above what they can possibly spend. This set of people can even afford to invest 50% of their income into Bitcoin.

If I fall into this category of people, I will definitely put at least 50% of my income into Bitcoin because I don't know of any better asset class to invest in and save for retirement.

It will depend on what you can afford to put on your bitcoin investment and any amount is fine as long as you have BTC bought which can increase your holdings. They should not get ashamed if they can afford small percentage since this is how greatness starts since as long as we are consistent on the investment choices we do for sure it will grow continuously in future.

People need to remember that its not all about the sizes of their investment since it all matter on their will to invest on crypto plus how eager they up getting a lot of knowledge to use for their investment. Those strategies mentioned will surely help them to increase their investment sizes so now its all matter on how people gonna take effort since they are the one who can make their selves profitable. Also right now I'm into 35% - 50% of my funds goes to bitcoin investment and so far doing great and yet still bullish  and yet plan to add more in my portfolio to save up for long term purposes since we know that bitcoin always got good potential that's why I make sure that I'm not left behind on its future growth.
406  Economy / Gambling / Re: NAKAMOTO ROULETTE - open and live! on: January 26, 2024, 12:05:53 PM
Maybe he is not already playing in this site instead he is just checking the site activity and informing people here to prevent from engaging for the possible scam ending because OP's last post here happens many months ago and up to now there are no even  post from this site

Well, if the OP is not active on the ANN thread then that does not mean that the site is a scam. So it is not right to declare any site a scam site unless there are valid proofs of the site scamming people. By the way, this site is down and therefore it cannot scam while being offline  Wink

But seeing this site doing now , I may support what he  said that it may not scam but will ends as scamming also  sooner or later.

Again for any other site, if it is down, that again does not mean that it will come up to scam. There can be several reasons of being the site is down. However, since I see the OP was willing to sell his gambling site, that why give a red flag as even if the site comes up with a new owner, we never know if the new party/owners are trusted or not.
you are right mate and since OP is willing to sell the site then better to close it for a while or address this here so possible players may know that the site is under open sale and may try preventing playing for a while  until the update comes about new owner .
and you are also correct that we cannot call a site scam  when there are no much proof provided .though seeing issues here now I may not consider dealing with this site for now .

As long as they are transparent for telling their casino is for sell and they didn't do anything to hype other people then I think its fine since for sure people could still see the real situation happening in their casino. Also provably they new people would know that the casino is not operating the same as before since they can see it base on the discussion happening in this thread.

If someone successfully acquire like new management will handle this casino I guess much better if we give them a chance to operate a good business here and its up to them how they perform since if the new management will do any suspicious action or do scamming just like other people afraid of then provably they would not last long and they will be criticized everyday by a lot of people so they should do more better so we can get impressed since for sure with this they can slowly get some people to play on their casino.
407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your state on mind if your son stole your money to gamble? on: January 26, 2024, 09:06:14 AM
Question: would she be so disheartened and mad as this if the son had won the bet on a multi million price?
Dear fellows, let's assume you are the mom, what would be your state of mind on this context?
I don't think so unless his son confess that he won such kind of prize. I think win or lose that needs some parenting discipline for him to realize that it was wrong and doing it again may lead to some consequences. Giving them some punishment is enough for them to know what's wrong and right, that's the bittersweet of parenting.

If you have a good relationship and transparent communication with your child, This kind of stealing and lying can be avoided. Sometimes when children are curious about something, they tend to try it, they will find a way to know something, and because they are aware that it is bad to gamble especially at their age, they hide it from their parents. However, if the child grows up to be able to communicate with his parents and have a good relationship, then this can be avoided. The best thing to do if this happens to your children is to give them a proper discipline and put them in a good conversation.

Sometimes they became secretive its because they don't want us to know what they are currently dealing with that's why aside to have a good open relationship with them we also follow what they are doing outside our watch so that we can avoid those unwanted things and they will be guided on right path towards taking good decisions especially on their gambling activities. Stealing is one sign of addiction so if we can't stop them for doing this for sure there will be more worst thing to happen.

Proper discipline is really important also its really better if we are open for certain discussion especially on gambling so that they would realize and learn from us so that they would not think about doing such nasty things that will put them on more risky condition.
408  Economy / Economics / Re: #HODLing is not a smooth journey on: January 26, 2024, 07:37:21 AM
snip

It has been a bumpy journey. I greatly admire those who possess the discipline to hold onto their cryptocurrency even when the price is at its peak. Personally, I find it challenging to resist the urge to convert all my coins to stablecoins as soon as I see a small profit. However, this year, I aim to have the patience to hold onto some promising project coins, such as BTC, ETH, and SOL, and resist the temptation to convert them at a small profit. My goal is to wait until a coin reaches a new all-time high before selling it.
To hold is not easy that is the same way to make money is never easy. We need to be prepared and understand the market before we make any investment decision. Anything we are doing in the market, we need to make proper plans so that we don't finally miss out of everything we are doing. Crypto investment is risky and for us to go in with full confidence, then we must be ready to hold as long as possible. Everything bool down to the nature of the market is the market is volatile enough to give us profits.

To hold is never really easy since you need to deal with those huge mental challenges what market brings especially the market is so volatile and unpredictable then we don't know what will be the outcome of it in coming years. What we just need to have here is long experience on trading in the market since once we see already those high and lows for longest time for sure we can defy those negative incidents happening in the market.

Also once we became good on dealing our emotions towards our investment decision especially upon holding our bitcoins for sure we can see something good coming especially that bitcoin still has a lot of potential. I know some people struggle to hold since they want short term profit but if they could just see the historical record of bitcoin for sure they will be decided to hold their bitcoins rather than immediately trade it.

Yeah and nothing can blame us for what we are doing here because I believe that we are
contributing to make this community safer from scam sites like this and I believe that what we are doing
here as constant posting to remind others gives everything for the sake of safe betting and gambling.
and I know that we are saving others at least one each week to read this thread on the top.
Anyone with a half-decent brain can see how we are actually helping so many gamblers from becoming victims by bumping this particular thread regularly due to which it usually ranks high in google search results.

This sort of stuff provides more positive exposure to Bitcointalk which is obviously a good thing for all forum members.
Very true. Bumping this thread is increasing visibility and they are succeeding in their goal for free. But on the other hand bumping this thread is also helping crypto gamblers and warning them about these scam gambling sites so that they can stay away from this site.

New members of this community know how bad 1xbit's reputation is, so even if 1xbit wanted to, they couldn't hide their bad reputation from the community, due to the huge amount of complaints in this thread.

This is community sentiments regarding on how they perform and aside from helping other to be the next victim of their scam this will be the reminder to other casino owners that they should never do the same action since there is a lot of people here will always talk about their scam happened and this could totally wreck their reputation especially when there's still a lot of people talk about their scam made.

New member in this forum could easily figure out how bad the reputation of this casino and other one in future especially if they visit their thread since there would be a lot of feedback posted then this could be their basis to think about doing some good decision to stop thinking about playing on their casino.
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Rebound This Week on: January 25, 2024, 12:26:01 PM
According to data from the Coinglass platform, the current open positions in Bitcoin futures contracts have reached $17.582 billion.  CME holds the largest share at $4.769 billion, followed by Binance at $4.151 billion, and Bybit at $3.199 billion.  The substantial open interest across these platforms suggests significant market activity. So will Bitcoin rebound this week?

For now the issue of rebound is left for the market force to decide, anything more than that is either mere prediction or market speculation which is not healthy for a bitcoiner, people were expecting the price to go up when the news of ETF approval break out but it was a different case, after the approval a week later the price went down for a reason I don't know, but may be some investors has started thinking that Bitcoin might reach the level of being controlled by government which no one can tell for now, but I know for certain that there is something fishy which might unfold itself very soon, we keep watching to see.

That indicate that we can't expect any good reaction for the price of bitcoin if there's certain big news happened to it and that ETF approval but result is not we expect to happen tells that all. So maybe we should not expect any more than that since provably there are just entity trying to hype up the situation and they want be the first to sell bitcoin at the top. We can also add some controversy which contribute its dump so we can't really easily feed up and always look at the current event so we can secure a profit if we want to sell.

For now still monitoring how far it can go since eventhough we experience this I would like to accumulate if I see enough dump occurs in the market.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 25, 2024, 10:03:31 AM
That is crappy reasoning from the Bucks management and they hired a coach who specialized in offense so it's not like they did the right thing here.
Anyway, Coach Rivers is known as a veteran so I guess they will rely on his experience to do better than Coach Griffin. Still, I preferred Griffin more because he is young, which might have been a factor in the blooming Giannis.

Firing a head coach in the middle of the regular season seems like a questionable idea. Personally, I get the impression that the Bucks management is making hasty moves that could potentially worsen the team's results. Don't get me wrong, Doc Rivers is a great coach with championship experience, but I don't think Griffin deserves to be treated like this. The Bucks management should have given him a chance to stay with the team, at least through the end of this regular season.
If they didn't get much good result for what system currently have then its better decision to change their coach since they don't get satisfying result for their campaign. And might they can get more better if they got a experienced coach that can handle well their current talent studded roster.

I'm not saying the coach is bad since he's still great for bringing Bucks on top 2 on the east but maybe their management is expecting a lot on their current roster especially Lillard has been added on their team that's why they decide to do big decision on their team. Rivers is great coach to have so if they really make him sign to coach their team let see if he can bring some good changes to their team.

This is what Lakers should do to since their coach is really inconsistent and don't have any adjustment made that's why Lakers keep losing this season.
412  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are newbies afraid to comment on threads of highly ranked members? on: January 25, 2024, 09:10:20 AM
I've been confused for several days about something that led to this thread. Many may find my subject ridiculous, fanciful, or incoherent, or I may be critical, but I still need to clear my doubts.

I want to give my opinion on some threads when I read threads of senior, legendary, or ranked , but being a newbie, I am afraid to join discussions with seniors, (legendary) members. The scary thing is (though it may be completely wrong to think), I think, can tell me, how a newbie engages in discussions with seniors, wants to give advice, what I know and how little I know. Also, I have a small number of threads that have no merit (that's my main fear). I even stopped commenting on some posts, thinking I might be wrong in my knowledge, even though I was right.

I know this thread will seem like nonsense to many but I took a lot of courage, and now I want to know if it's just my mistake or if it happens to many freshmen. But I have seen many newbies join the threads of senior, legendary or ranked members, but I hold back for fear of lack of courage. I can't move it at all.

If this is not the case for many in new situations, and if this fear applies to me, how do I overcome it?

All your valuable suggestions will be appreciated.

No don't get afraid to join on the discussion here since not all high ranking members is knowledgeable on all topics discuss so expect that maybe there are some people will criticize you base on your opinion given but if you know you are right and you have proof to point out your good opinion then show it. Don't get intimated on ranks since that don't tell everything just make yourself knowledgeable on the topics you are interested since your expertise will value more rather those rankings of some members of this forum.

This thread have sense since somehow you can express your doubts here and its better to discuss this matter since for sure same as you there are some newbies got the same feeling. Also so that they could learn something base on the opinion given by our fellow forum member here.
413  Economy / Gambling / Re: Joya.Casino| Rewarding Casino| Huge Welcome and VIP Bonus| 20% Weekly CashBack on: January 24, 2024, 01:29:18 PM
Good news for all Bitcoin forum members related to Joya Casino. KYC verification will not be necessary for crypto currencies. We discussed about this matter and came to conclusion that we want to make the life easier if you decide to be part of Joya's family.
That's rare to happen for a licensed casino not asking KYC especially for cryptocurrency payments, is this both deposit and withdrawal right? How long this will last though?

But you will still asking KYC to other kind payments, with same requirements mentioned by you earlier? IMO KYC should be still required at least only for ID not the utility bills.
You have a point but if you notice you'll see that ever since this casino created its ANN on this forum they have been adjusting and changing its website UI/UX just to provide the best service for the crypto gambler of this forum which I believe is one of the things that show the seriousness of casino.
Nevertheless, they can't operate outside the master license holder rules and regulations but they can only bend the possible rules.

They need to do that so they can attract their user since so far they don't have any marketing running in this forum so maybe the least they can do for now is to present a site with good UI/UX since by this maybe they can attract those people who look for a casino that can attract them base on their first impression when they visit it. But I doubt they can attract a lot of user without running any marketing stints so they should think about launching some so they could able to compete with other casino which do a lot of marketing strategy just to attract bettor to come or stay on their casino.

For now its early so maybe players can't expect something big, but if Joya casino really want to gain something especially to make their user base grow then they should think about planning a good marketing to run here.

Maybe for now they can risk to do those no KYC rule since they are new but I also expect KYC will be mandatory if their earn success since for sure they will be call out by authorities for that reason.
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you preffer your dealer talkative or not? on: January 24, 2024, 11:42:03 AM
What do you think about this all? Do you like your dealer talkative or not?
And if you prefer the dealer being talkative, would you mind if they made up some story just to keep talking? Or would you prefer even that over silence?
To be completely honest i do not really care, as long as they do their job and make the necessary announcements at the table. There would be customers who prefer when the dealer talks a lot about unnecessary things and even makes up stories to keep conversing, it is down to individual preferences, but in my opinion it is great if the dealer simply does things moderately and without an excess in anything.

A dealer can talk because most times silence can be boring in tables, so any light conversations can help relieve tenseness and make the mood to be on lighter notes. Although dealers should be professional in their conversations and should be respectful with utterances and have some reasonable sense of humor, if they're able to strike a meaningful conversation that can flow with the game, then it's all part of the fun and everybody will feel relaxed.

Despite that small talks are good to lighten tensed moods and relax everybody, silence can be golden if a dealer doesn't have anything meaningful to say, it's better not to say anything than talking and being more boring.

I rather prefer that since I gamble to have fun so having a dealer like this which can talk and entertain us for sure this add good factor so I can stay longer in the game.

If the dealer is so silent for sure we get feel bored about it and might feel sleepy in the long run since we know how the game flow and if there's no ice breaker in the game for sure we can think about leaving and find another game since we don't get what we want there. It can really ease up some tension while the dealer is talkative and entertaining that's why I really prefer to have them.

I know there are other gambler want a silent since they want to focus to the game as they really like to win and not get distracted distracted on the games they are currently playing on.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF approved, next Ethereum ETF? on: January 24, 2024, 07:52:48 AM
As we all know, the Bitcoin ETF is already approved. So, do you think the next ETF for Ethereum will be approved as well? Many companies, including BlackRock, have filled the Ethereum ETF as well. I believe the line is already clear to approve the Ethereum ETF since the SEC gave green light to the Bitcoin ETF. We have noticed significant price movements on Ethereum since Bitcoin EFT was approved. I don't see any reason not to approve the Ethereum ETF as well. The deadline is May for the Ethereum ETF. We have to wait for that. What's your thoughts about Ethereum ETF?

If the Ethereum ETF is approved, it will have a very positive impact for Ethereum holders or aspirants because if this happens, I think the ETF will pump like crazy and lots of new investors will come in to buy ETH. Hopefully, the ETH ETF will have the same fate as the BTC ETF that is approved. I pray. for that to happen because it will make new history once the bitcoin ETF is approved

The approval of the ETH ETF is good for the long term but in the short term it won't have much effect. People will keep speculating about the ETH price until the approval of the ETH ETF like they did until the bitcoin ETF approval. The rumors made most of the impact and the speculator drove the price. If something like a bitcoin rally happens with ETH due to its ETF approval potential then it can take the price of ETH around 4k and even higher. Let's see how people cash in on these rumors.

It doesn't give much effect since its like trading approval but still that's a good development since imagine aside from bitcoin ETH is also been approved by the. For that it create some huge potential for other alts to get recognize and maybe this is one of good step that those skeptical government which ban bitcoin can realize that they made a mistake for deciding that on their country and maybe it can open another level of adoption for both top coins.

Although for now its hard to speculate since all we can do is to speculate so maybe lets just see the update will happen if there's someone will push this plan to happen. If ETF approval will really happen it could possibly stretch up the price of bitcoin to $4k or maybe even we can see it surpass at $5k which is historical record for its amazing growth.
416  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any recommendations for another casino like this one? on: January 24, 2024, 06:44:02 AM
Well, they cannot be very good if they resort to "cheap" marketing tactics like this. You are not one of their marketing guys with a small marketing budget... are you?

I also see that the withdrawal limit is very low, so that points to a new casino with a small bankroll, which is always risky for highrollers.

I don't know why those people would ever think that simple post like this would attract people to try their casino. For so many reputable casino reputable around for sure this type of cheap marketing they made will surely get ignored by people since they might don't find any relevant on the words posted especially that they don't have any credibility giving their own feedbacks towards that casino they have mentioned.

Also if they want to attract more people especially those high rollers they should set the withdrawal limit high and also they should do more better marketing than this since doing this will just make people think that they have low budget and maybe they can payout them if certain big win hit by a player.

It's not a thing of surprise anymore to see bitcoin dip about 10 to 20% from its previous price of $48k on it's price within the late December to earlier January after hitting a good price, after which price started declining without control to the level of $38k as current price. Who knows what could be the next dip and this may lead to 35k to 30k causing serious panic to the market and holders, please any thing the cause of the dip as we know it's based on news.

To much hype happened on ETF and after the approval happen maybe there's a lot of people cashing out their profits and that maybe the result.

But also come to read this article since this also have relevance regarding on your question and maybe you can learn something from this https://u.today/key-reason-behind-bitcoin-btc-price-crash also this https://u.today/massive-200000-bitcoin-btc-dump-expected-in-60-days-mt-gox-update

It is good for us to know how rlwe do things to we are plan ahead and not end up regretting of some certain decisions we have made so far. There are so many things that needed to be put in place for us so that we don't compromise and keep making the mistake of using the wrong casino or betting platforms. Precautions are necessary for us to check for reliable and trusted casinos that would be fair enough for us to make profits from them and not deprive us from the actual things that needed to be done.
It’s impossible to know everything in advance. This is impossible by definition. For example, you have everything planned, but force majeure circumstances that you can never foresee can throw you off track. This happens all the time. We cannot cope with this. If we had a time machine, it would be a completely different conversation. There is no need to deceive yourself. Sometimes fate plays a cruel joke on us.

There are casinos perform really good then get a good reputation on the community but at the end they don't manage their operations well and turn as scam. For so many times it happen here that's the reason its hard to predict or know everything in advance regarding on real situation since we can only find out that those casino is a scam once they do a glorious exit and leave their players behind.

But if they could still able to manage such risk I guess what recommended to everyone is to check every users casino promoting then see if they are reputable enough or it meet on the criteria they are seeking for. Since there's a lot of casino here and its up for those people to do background checking of these casino then try if this is really fit for them.

It may be the case that Dlo worked more in the wake of hearing his name on the trading list. But Lakers is unpersuaded and is committed to trade him. In this case, this could be an ideal time for Lakers to trade Dlo while he is improving because that implies it is selling a much more developed player. The team is reported talking to Warriors to exchange Dlo and Wiggins. However, it is unclear if Warriors officials are interested in receiving Dlo again. Wiggins is not consistent this season but there is no assurance of how long Dlo playing at this level will last because he is likewise not consistent all through his entire NBA career.
I believe this is a possibility. I confess that D'Angelo Russell has been performing so good in the last few games, that's a significant improvement, but will he be consistent with that performance? I think it's unlikely to happen.

Is there a possibility of this trade happening? Can Dlo make a significant change to the Warriors? And Wiggins on the Lakers? Well, I don't know, but I don't see this trade being viable. Anyway, i imagine Murray is more solid and consistent than Wiggins.

I guess he already know that he will be traded that's why he perform so good as he can so that he can leave an impression to lakers that he is a great loss for them since imagine how big the numbers he contribute lately. He should learn something and never be so relax on his current team then he should perform more better and became more consistent so that he will not get traded again.

Dlo can provably give significant changes to Warriors especially that he can contribute and for sure he can fill the inconsistency of Wiggins on the team and might he can be one of the option of Warriors to provide them points especially if Steph and Klay struggles. Let see how both perform on their new team if this trade plan would proceed. Or Lakers have more bigger plans and target other player on this planned trade.
420  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: January 23, 2024, 07:23:17 AM
Now that the Bitcoin price is moving downward, it is currently at 39k+, and it will surely bounce back in no time.

I just want to let everyone of us here to know that it's another opportunity to buy the dip and hodl, even if the price dips more than this, keep buying (buy more) as it will serve as a discount for you in you act of DCAing. What you would have acquired at $40k with $100 is now cheaper, so you could increase your Bitcoin stash.
indeed this is an opportunity to start accumulating more quantity of bitcoin with DCA strategies and all. When I was actually new in crypto space I don't have much Idea or knowledge about it. Time like this I would be dwelling in fear when bitcoin is experiencing any dip without knowing that am being given more opportunities to grab by buying the dip sometimes I even go further selling in losses. But now I have began to see the in and out about it all thanks to the knowledgeable individuals in this forum. I'm not feeling any fear any more all am just doing is accumulating more BTC  Grin

Starting to accumulate a little bit now since I think this is bit far for its last price last couple of days so maybe there's a chance that we could see some good pumps after this one. But I'm not closing some thoughts that we could possibly see more pullbacks up to $38k or even at $35k since it could possible to happen that's why I prepare some extra cash here to buy once it reach to that price dump target.

Also planning to load some balances on my futures account to take a good long position for bitcoin since I think this is one of best time to do it since we already see some good correction happen these past few days.

Even if bitcoin price is dumping I don't see any fear posted since maybe people still believe that there's still good things to happen this year so I guess its better to take advantage on current condition since maybe we cannot see this to happen again as I still believe the bullish season is about to happen soon.
