Is PoS coming with homestead?? No. Homestead is march. Pos is coming much much later probably 6 months or more. I hope the PoS will start later next year so that my graphics card will have more use. There are not many profitable coins. |

Long term is predictable we all know.
It is not so stable now. But I think it is now rising slowly and that will be good. The people that had invest last week they can make some a lot of profit. But you never know what can happen in the future. It is hard to predict. I like the price to rise slowly. Even if it rises 1% a week, it will rise 67% a year. That is a lot of increase. |

i have bought ethereum coin but just 5,8 ETH only. it is only for collections. i don't know about progress of ETH in the future no one knowing.  I think 5.8 Ether is a safe investment. If it drops to zero, you will only lose $30. If the price rises to 50$, you will make $150. |

pnd, don't get burned. if you haven't sold any buy now you're just being greedy as hell. i sold a bunch, loaded up on bitswift and a couple other coins.  I think Ethereum price has not reached its potential. It will be much higher in the future. However, it might drop in the short term. We might see troubled time ahead, but I'm convinced that before 1 year from now, we'll be at at least 0,03 BTC  ! Everything is favorable for Ethereum : Homestead which is coming, the end of the PoW... That is my hope as well. But it is quite difficult to achieve. I just wish the Foundation has enough money to develop. |

There is a news that the Bitcoin Core team is going to release the SegWit, and hard fork to 2MB by July.

In other news the wall has stood all day today and has now moved down to 190k. I know we all love the "whale manipulation"/"whale wants to buy lower" etc angles but this is just a whale exit IMO (too bad!)
I reasonably doubt that he is trying to exit. Every time a small part of his wall gets eaten it moves back up. I am far more certain he is just playing around with it currently. he moves it back up to 'hope' to get a better price for his stack.. the guy probably got burned alot. If he genuinely wanted to sell, he would use smaller increments. Do we know who the whales are? It seems the Ethereum market price is manipulated by those people effectively. |

Bitcoin will not, and bitcoin is instantaneous.
It depends which side you are on. If you are a buyer, you like Paypal. If you are a seller, you will like Bitcoin. paypal is definitely good for buyers. they are well protected against scams and such. that's why a lot scammers love to use paypal. they buy stuff and get the product, and they also charge back on the sellers. that's why paypal is horrible. with bitcoin there are no charge backs If Paypal integrates the bitcoin, will this situation change? Will the scammers use the Paypal as well? |

For the altcoin, I would select Ethereum and Monero. Etherem is a platform for smart contract. Monero is the anonymous coin.

I think the price will rise quite a lot in the next few months. The bitcoin price has consolidated for about month.

Like I said yesterday or the day before yesterday, the price is now back in the +0,01 BTC range ! So the whales have not deserted the Ethereum. Or the last drop was just a bear trap? It is quite strong now. |

Woow. Monero, just like eth and maid got hammered today. Though to be honest, xmr support seems to be the strongest of the the three main coins today. Yet, I'm not sure if xmr dump was the only one today. Others may follow. Will see soon I guess.
It has very strong support in the 130-150 area. You must be stupid to sell below 170k. What for? Unless you wanna break 170 to buy at the above range. Maybe that was the plan (hence the 65K wall). Good luck trying to send it back in the 100k area though... In short term, it could drop further. One reason is that the bitcoin price is rising. Most altcoin will drop. I would not bet on this for various reasons. I think Monero is the best anonymous coin. So I will hold some. But it will not be big part of my wealth. |

Pre-2016 top two daily volume highs were both 1012 BTC/day. 2016 has already seen 2500 BTC in volume in a single day.   I do not understand why there are so many bitcoins around. The volume in Ethereum was over 40,000 a few days ago. |
