I love that this guy is trolling in the Youtube comments but no one seems to understand.

I wasnt sure about Ethereum, but you seem bullish on it. I dont have a huge amount to invest, but there is my son's college fund, so I might dip in to that. The way I see it, if this thing is half as good as you say it is, I can afford to send him where ever he likes. Thanks for the tip, very enjoyable video.

I don't think this video convinced anyone to buy Ethereum. Why not you say?! Does she understand anything about Ethereum? Not even slightly. But then why did she buy it? Oh because she was curious  Roll Eyes. What was she curious about? What did she learn about Ethereum? Nothing. Great. That is why it's in such a huge bubble.

When Ethereum crashes these morons are going to be all annoyed at their friend, that friend is going to be annoyed at their other friend and so on. Does anyone even know what it's good for? Oh, you can pump out ICOs like nobody's business on the ETH network. Great. Now that the market is saturated in ICOs people are just trying to make a quick flip and they aren't working out. I won't be buying ETH ever again to invest in an ICO. I never wanted to touch it so I don't know why I did.

Wow last week every single altcoin was red. When Bitcoin and ETH drop it's like the world is ending and everyone sells all of thier alts at the same time.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: July 03, 2017, 01:30:45 PM
NEWS from imToken team: the wallet has been updated, it now displays the upgraded MCO - no more YYY token.

There's MCO and MCO1. MCO1 seems to be the old "YYY" tokens. Is that ever going to be switched or are we stuck with MCO1 as MCO was already taken from the other tokens?
403  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big dump, buy the dip on: July 02, 2017, 01:21:39 PM
Sorry to burst your bubble but there won't be a dip.
There will just be endless decline as bitcoin is being rapidly overtaken by superior technology.

Aw man that's too bad to hear. Source?

Ah I'm too lazy to get my bitcoins out of cold storage. I guess I'll just be a bagholder in 10 years when they're BTC10,000 for a nickle. /s
404  Economy / Reputation / Re: am i a scammer? on: June 27, 2017, 10:58:47 PM
I will never ask fucking vod and favours to remove red trust. They are both stupid idiot. Is there any way to contact with admin?

Pharmacist scammed me. He is not trustworthy. Not recommended. Stay safe from Pharmacist
Timelord2067 scammed me. He is not trustworthy. Not recommended. Stay safe from Timelord2067

So you are lying in your feedback and you think the admin will listen to you?   Roll Eyes

Do not post in my topic. I just hate you asshole. Dog Fucker

When you get older, you'll realize you cannot expect respect unless you offer it yourself.   Undecided
You don't expect respect from other people. What you did with me is totally bullshit.
You are a mother fucker Feedback spammer.
Get a life asshole.

I was only hanging around to see how this would work out. It seems like it's going to take too long for you guys to kiss and make up so I'm out.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Live]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | Multi Wallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: June 27, 2017, 09:51:05 PM
I sent Ripple over 12 hours ago and it still has yet to show up...I'm getting nervous.

Can someone from NVO please address this? Because you seem to be ignoring these concerns  Sad
It looks like a lot of people do not understand how cryptocurrencies work (not that Ripple is one). It does not matter at all what some random number on a website says. If you sent to an escrow address, and it has been confirmed, then your funds have arrived. The Ripple API does not seem to be functioning. Check back tomorrow or so.

It's not your job to GAF about what people do and do not understand. And yeah, sorry but numbers on a screen are kinda, like, super important; if I throw 1k worth of bitcoin in my Poloniex exchange and that "number on a website" says 0, that's cause for concern.

You have my money and I have no proof of receipt. You are asking us to trust you...on a cryptocurrency forum. Oh the irony.

The correct response is "sorry guys, bear with us as we get our sh*t together."

No idea how ripple works. Never used it, never will, but if your TX confirmed then they got them and you're good to go.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Live]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | Multi Wallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: June 27, 2017, 09:05:05 PM
hello, can someone help me, i have sent bitcoin from electrum but i used my public keys not knowing i had to use my private keys as this is the first ico that has needed my private keys, so will i still get my investment? shall i add my private keys now or will that effect it? thanks in advance

You needed to send your bitcoins from your address to the address at the bottom of the OP. If you know your private key that's all you need. You don't ever need to tell someone else your private keys in any instance.

It looks like the ICO is over! I'll do a tally of the results in terms of BTC and USD.

BTC2,894.30425629

$7,140,798.51808

Or $0.476053234667/ BTC0.00019295 per NVOT.

Someone may want to double check my math though.

Hi,
Just decided to join the crowdsale, but there is no time to transfer BTC to other wallet ...i have only mycelium wallet....
Is it a good ideea to send from mycelium ?

That's where I'm sending my BTC from. As long as you have the private key you're good to go. You'd better send that as a priority payment though!
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Live]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | Multi Wallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: June 27, 2017, 07:19:51 PM
What is the value for dash or litecoin in comparison to bitcoin, considering the change in price of the altcoins, in report to BTC, during the ICO ?

Is it the price in ltc/btc or ltc/usd, and also, is it at the time of deposit or at the time when the ICO ends ?

Please enlighten us.

It's been answered multiple times and it's even in the FAQs now. They'll sell everything for bitcoins after the ICO is over. The rate will depend on the price then.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Live]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | Multi Wallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: June 27, 2017, 06:50:59 PM
Well I couldn't quite double my investment but I did do an extra 80% or so.

I'll be a promoter and an investor for NVO. You can count on that.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] Primalbase: Distributed Workspace for Tech Community - June 26 on: June 26, 2017, 08:30:34 PM
I was thinking of investing into primal base just for kicks. I was going to throw in a small amount and see how it does. Then I read this in the ToS:

Quote
9 Cancellation and refund policy

9.1 By participating in the Crowdfund, you acknowledge that Primalbase is not required to provide a refund for any reason, and that you will not receive money or other compensation in lieu of a refund, and you consent to no right of withdrawal from the fund of the Crowfunding.

9.2 All donations to Primalbase are final and nonrefundable

So basically, if they decide that they don't want to go ahead with this business anymore they thank you for the donation! (Not your investment. Did you notice that too? That must have been a Freudian slip).

This is how you distinguish the entrepreneurs who fully believe in their business and the ones who don't. No thanks. I'd rather invest with an entrepreneur that will do whatever it takes to succeed, not one that if they give up they just keep the money and have no legal recourse so to speak.

Plese tell me a single ico that made a refund if they fail.

I will help you: no one will never refund you in this world.

You dont want to take a risk? Go and buy some bank shit with an assurance and take your 1% revenue/year and stop fudding here

I'm not saying if they fail. This does not say if they fail. This says for any reason. It's not FUD, it's right in their ToS. Maybe you should be a little smarter with your money and actually read these things instead of throwing your Satoshis at any ICO that comes along.

Care to explain why investments are considered donations? I'd love to hear that explained to the public.

It would appear that investors are the only ones taking a risk here and primal base is taking absolutely no risk at all on their end. They do not have to pay you back if they don't even try to make a working business. They don't have to pay you back if they decide to go on an all expenses paid vacation to Las Vegas and gamble away your funds. This looks like the Mycelium Crowdsale all over again. No revenue to speak of, no working business model, no promises promise to never pay you back if anything goes wrong, (i.e. if the tokens are never distributed to begin with).

How professional.

ok is clear you dont know what an ico is and is the first time you read a Tos.

Wellcome to cryptoland chris, and goodbye.

Thanks for showing your age and welcome to my ignore list. I've only invested in successful ICOs thus far, and won't be investing in this one without proper answers. It's good to be sceptical. That's how the human race survives.

The nature of an ICO is quite volatile, so there are risks, both known and unknown.
Investors know this going in. It is unregulated in every sense.
Having said that, Primalbase has put its core members forward, and got support from leading players in the blockchain field -- people staking their reputation. So, it wouldn't make sense to throw all of that in the trash for a quick cash grab, now would it? Primalbase is interested with expanding and nurturing the tech community, one full of like-minded people.

TL;DR: Trust us, we have a good reputation. Your team actually has no reputation at all. I've never heard of them. Advisors mean nothing because we all know every single ICO lists these top guns in the cryptocurrency space to make them look better. Their involvement in the projects themselves is basically nothing.

Oh and would it make sense to walk away with millions and have a bad reputation? Absolutely. People scam for $5 on this forum and you want me to think that for some reason these people are different with millions and millions?

ETH is disabled on Poloniex. You know what? I'm going to double up my investment on NVO today. Why not? Hopefully things like this can't happen on altcoin exchanges in the future.

Lol the person that's all upset about the escrows should realise that they all own physical bitcoins so their names/addresses must be known by now. Or at least their P.O. box hahaha.

Blazed has escrowed much more than this with no issues, minerjones is another big escrow and never had an issue (by issue of course I mean no funds were ever stolen). Lauda? Well if it was just Lauda I'd be a little wary. Cats have weird personalities. I can't trust a cat person 100%. That's why my wife doesn't hold my private keys (well that and if she did we would have a new fence, car, bathroom and 0 bitcoins). If Lauda somehow convinces another escrow to go AWOL we'll just track her down and take her to the vet

Just kidding, Lauda is a nice kitty.

I'm still debating doubling my investment. I'll probably wait until the last day (then knowing me I'll forget and regret it forever). Passive income isn't something you come by every day and not being an ERC20 token is great. There are way too many of those right now.

Thanks for the clarification sir. You the real MVP

No problem... happy to help

(And BTW there's too much FUD going on in this thread lately: it makes me think this project is really yanking some people's chains?  That makes me like it even more than I did at first, LOL... i.e. if this project is a "threat" to "certain parties" then it means they're doin' somethin' right, eh? LOL)

I hope no one else invests so that my portion is bigger Wink I probably won't start FUD though as that could be detrimental to the project in the long run. Boy I think highly of myself don't I?
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High school dropout who invested in bitcoin is now a millionaire at 18 on: June 24, 2017, 12:39:08 PM
Well I think I'm a little too late to drop out of high school. I'm also too late to drop out of post secondary but I could always quit my day job if bitcoins would just 100x already! Good for him, he was obviously way ahead of 99.9% of the population and it paid off.

I do agree the $100k then buying bitcoins would have been a smarter move, but what can you expect from someone who dropped out of high school?! He couldn't do the math! In the end it worked out either way whether he had 300 or 500 bitcoins. I couldn't see him regretting that decision while living in his mortgage-free home with a few nice cars parked in the driveway. He's better off than most of us either way!

An article about the ICO:

https://hacked.com/ico-analysis-nvo/

There's one crucial error that I found in this analysis (so far)

Quote
The token will be called NVOT (NVO Token) and will apparently have a fixed price. This doesn’t, of course, make it untradeable via other exchanges, which could give it varying prices and some volatility regardless of any efforts.

NVOT will trade at whatever the market decides, NVOS will be stable at $0.99. Unless I just really didn't grasp the concept properly.

Who is going to guarantee that NVOS will be stable at $0.99?
Do you think that NVO owners/developers would start bying NVOS when the price goes under 0.99 USD?
I`m still confused about a lot of things regarding this project and most of the posts here sound like japanese to me. Grin

I understand the way you view this because in an open market there is no way price can be fixed without intervention of the external party which in this case is the developers. My concern to this is that will there be a particular exchange where this will be done and aside that how long will the support will be for the token in case market forces are swinging in both ways?

You just control the supply of tokens like tether or any other currency that is tethered to USD. Obviously tether has been having some problems lately but no algorithm is perfect so it's do be expected with NVOS as well. Maybe NVOS will be their version of tether that you can buy on their platform.
418  Economy / Reputation / Re: [User Generated] - Known alts of anyone on: June 21, 2017, 01:05:42 AM
Please put default negative trust . Thanks

-snip-
Although it's some fairly obvious alts we can only show that they're actually connected with hard facts like bitcoin addresses, twitter accounts, email addresses etc. Is there anything that actually links the accounts? Please use the format in the OP.

And *that*, xLays, is why the scammers are getting away with it.

*shrugs* idk. It's fairly obvious it's the same person but is there any irrefutable proof? That's all I base my findings on but I'm more of facts guy. The fact is, these are probably alts.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Live]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | Multi Wallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: June 21, 2017, 01:02:57 AM

Hope this was clear enough question LOL

Long story short, if you have the private key that you generated with vanitygen you're good to go. What wallet it's imported to is irrelevant until you want to see your NVOT then it'll need to be imported as a counterparty address to see the tokens.
