Like I told you guys most in my posts about the Dallas Mavericks, Kyrie Irving will be the key player of the game. If he starts aggressive early in the game, the Mavs will survive anything and it will boost the offensive energy of his teammates which happened today.
A very close game and it was so damn entertaining, teeth-clenching, heart-stopping, and exciting. I cannot even count how many times I stopped breathing for a while because of how close the game was. This is the playoffs that we had been waiting for.
The Mavs stopped AntMan at 19 points, Gobert at 7 rebounds only (not normal), and Towns at 16 points. That's the recipe to win a game. Don't let Ant get his rhythm and get offensive rebounds as much as possible which I believe is credited to their Twin Towers Lively (4/11 off. rebounds) and Gafford (4/9 off. rebounds). All of that could've been for Gobert but those two did a great job giving their team a second chance opportunity.
Yea, as what we have been seeing, Kyrie doesn't have a good series OKC, but here he did step up and that is scary for the Wolves in game 1. He looks like he is looking for this kind of game to show his talent again, whether he goes left or right of even if it is the DPOY in front of him, he will take his shot. I thought it will be a good match up down with Gafford and Lively against Gobert and Towns, but it was the Mavs who are more dominant and Gobert didn't get his usual rebounds. Although Towns scores, he has difficulty against Lively as he was blocked twice in one possession. He need to teach ANT a lesson that he is no easy opponent for him and its good to see him that he step up since that leave some statement that he need to respect the veteran like him. But this is a intense match and Wolves also show some quality performance. I really think earlier that they could take the win on game one since they are dictating the phase of the game and they shoot a lot of three pointers while Mavs struggling in rainbow area. But what make Mavs alive is their inside offense and second chance opportunity that's why Wolves didn't get a far lead from Mavs. Also its really amazing to see the young big man of Mavs perform so well since they really bring a big help to get the win on game 1. Yeah he needs to show some respect though it's his gesture of being competitive and it might inspire him to play hard just like how Kyrie play being inspire by that kind of challenge, proving that you can still bring something and manage to win the game, I like the exchange attacks of Kyrie and Luka they are not forcing it but instead they really managing the help that they can get from all their teammates, like what you said those young big man they all working hard fighting for the second chance points. |

The Celtics won by 5 points in OT. I thought this series would be easy for the Celtics, but Game 1 proved me wrong. The Pacers are giving their all; 7 players scored in double digits, with 3 of them scoring more than 20. The Pacers had 6 more field goals, but the Celtics had more free throws, with 24 compared to the Pacers' 9. The Pacers committed 23 fouls and had 21 turnovers. They need to work more on reducing their turnovers and fouls.
This is just game 1, and we've already seen how the Pacers are playing. It was a winnable game for them, but the Celtics got lucky with Brown's tough tying shot. In OT, the Celtics took over in the last two minutes and secured the win. That's fine—if the Pacers were able to come back from a 0-2 deficit before, I'm sure it's not hard for them to do it against the Celtics, even if they are the underdog. Some thought this series would be easy for the Celtics, but the result of game 1 proved them wrong. We have a series here, and I'm sure we will see more entertaining action ahead. I wouldn't say it's lucky though, I mean Brown could have a good 3 point percentage. But if he didn't make it, will be over for the Celtics in game 1. But yeah, this is just game one and it shows that even if the Boston is the top seed, the Pacers have been in two tough series already and they are well built for this kind of big games. Pacers are still a big underdog in game 2, but there could be NBA bettors who might go with them ML for a huge upset next game. SMB is just too much for ROS. Although ROS are sharing the ball very well which is good but their 3 point shooting was really the problem in this game. Just 27% from 3's and since that should be their main weapon to defeat SMB, with a low percentage that's an automatic loss. ROS really struggling to score in the paint as JMF is waiting their to block shots, and sometimes when JMF attack the paint, he can also grab some offensive rebounds which hurts more the ROS. Now, let's talk about game 3, what should be the strategy the ROS has to use? Because they can't afford to go 0-3 where no team have even comeback in the PBA history.
Actually there was already a team that came back from a 0-3 hole and that is the Beermen also lead by that time a younger June Mar Fajardo. It was dubbed as a "beeracle" where the SMB Beermen defeated the Alaska aces four consecutive game to grad the AFC trophy. Just forgot what year that was but it really happens in the PBA. Yes, it does not happen in NBA but it happen in the PBA, it's already in the history. However, the situation was different with the current match up of the SMB now because ROS are healthy and they are the underdog in the series, unlike that time where SMB was only underdog because they don't have their best player, but when he came back, it changes everything and they made a history. Indeed, Alaska got their chance since JMF is not playing on their first 3 meetings but when JMF start to play there's no way Alaska can stop him and with his pals "the death 5" it's really tough to handle thats solid squad, nothing but only watching the Beermen snatching that almost another title for the Aces. Though, the situation now is too different, SMB is the heavy favorite and there's no one from ROS lineup that they are waiting to bring a big impact, and worse is SMB begins to spark that bond with those resting superstars now being back in form, it's really tough to handled. |

It’s suicidal to YOLO bet with Dallas considering how great the defense and offense of Wolves. I wonder who will guard with Gobert and KAT properly on Dallas current line-up without removing Kyrie and Luka on their player on the court. Both Kyrie and Luka will be a burden on defense if they can’t answer on offense while ANT will have the greatest day of his life free shooting or driving due to the space that Gobert and KAT give to him. It’s a massacre to think that Wolves will play same energy level when they are against Nuggets. Maybe game 1 might be rest for Wolves but the rest of the match will surely overwhelming for Dallas. For Gobert, it would be Gafford most of the time if he isn't injured but if he is, it would be Lively II. For KAT, most of the time it would be PJ Washington. Overall, I don't see the Mavericks winning on this one either. I mean I don't underestimate the Mavericks in this match-up, but beating the defending champions? Defeating a team that has the MVP and currently the best player in the league? That's a bigtime statement for the Timberwolves saying, "We're here to win it all." Irving and Doncic will be having a hard time finding ways to get some rhythm because of the suffocating defense of the Timberwolves that's for sure. The Wolves have it all. Defensive minded players but can contribute on offense as well. I will not be surprised if the Timberwolves will get the NBA title this season after 20 years of continuously losing. Beating the Nuggets surely boost the morale of the Timberwolves, and they will carry it all throughout the playoffs. I'll go with Timberwolves on this one probably in 6 games, or 5 maybe, but it will not go 7 games. No disrespect to the Mavericks, but the Wolves are just better. Stats wise we can all see that big advantages as like what the post above you mentioned with the two towers they can give a free looks for ANT, the good catch is KAT also have that killer instinct, he have that capabilities to attack and that height and veterans advantage against the young big of Dallas, though basketball is the game of skills and good adoptions to adjust. Your very right, gambling in front of children can cause them to develop early gambling habits and it could be a trouble for thme growing up cause they would always want to use their money to gamble seeing it as a source to get more miney which is worng, parents should learn to keep habits off children cause childcare learn by observation and would replicate what their parents do.
It's better that way. Although we want to gamble freely in our house, we should also think about the effects that it will have on our kids. I learned it the hard way. I used to curse inside our house and my kids always heard me say it and then suddenly I was shocked that they repeated what I said clearly. I didn't like it when I heard it which is why I stopped using cursed words in our house. Kids will always observe and mimic their parents because they think it is right or they just want to copy anything for fun. That is the reason why we should not let our children have any clue about what gambling is or how it works. There are ways to do this and one way is when they are away at school or they are already sleeping. We should always be mindful of what we will do when we are near them because they can easily absorb it and copy it. Kids always observe and adopt whatever they see or heard from those adults that they have from their surroundings, learning it only from observing and there's no need for anything as the kids easily adopt and we can't control that without proper guidance, like what happened to you, it's just by hearing it and you just find it out that they already using those words without really knowing what's the meaning of it. Cause you don't know what to do with that extra money. That's why mind will force you to do gambling with that fund. I have seen this before as well, which is why I only keep an amount of money that is very small on my gambling accounts at casinos, now this means that I have to make several small transactions instead of a big one, and for an observer this may not seem to make a lot of sense, as I could save someone money on fees by simply sending all of that money at the same time, but since I know that having a large amount of money there will cause me to be more reckless when gambling, this is not really an option for me. There's always good and bad side on each process that we made, just like how you describes it, if you send large transactions it will save you some for your transaction fees but the risk is you might lose everything compared with sending small amount and let it roll and enjoy your gambling using the amount that you are willing to let go. Mavs vs Nuggets or Timberwolves sino sa tingin nyo makakalaban ng Mavs? Sa tingin ko kahit sino pa makalaban ng Mavs dito no match ang Mavs. Ganun din sa East kahit sino makalaban ng Celtics palagay ko sila makakpasok sa NBA Finals.
