401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: July 16, 2016, 09:42:15 AM
I am not the best or the luckiest when it comes to gambling but i find it amusing and i like to spend some time playing  just for fun.
most of the people are doing gambling for making fun. but when they are asked about gambling they are arguing that they are playing it for fun. i think there are so many other activities where you can get a lot of fun why these people not going to get fun there.
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is too slow on: July 15, 2016, 09:33:32 PM
10 minutes is decent. We don't want something too quick or that will create no traffic, which is what the miners like. 10 minutes is good, but what's not is when blocks take 2 hours to mine. That's what sets me on edge. There should be a fail safe for blocks after miners have spent 30 minutes searching. But afaik that's not possible.
10 minutes is too much. if you want bitcoin that people should use it then i think it is important that the trisection period must be very very little. may be in second. because the customer and the trader do not wait for such a long time.
403  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: July 15, 2016, 09:23:32 PM
If I can withdraw my Bitcoin quickly after I receive it like with an ATM or whatever it is, then I'll say yes to accept my salary with Bitcoin. Because the problem is, in my country it's quite hard to withdraw your Bitcoin into fiat.
What country are you exactly from? I mean, not that I want to stalk your or something but from what I know, there are multiple sites that are actually offering Bitcoin ATMs that you can withdraw anytime at any international teller machines.
Yeah like coinbank but those master or debit card i don't need it because we have already a site available only for philippines that you can withdraw instantly without or you have atm cards..  but i am choosing without or cardless payout in the bank which is i can withdraw via codes in one bank..
This is the fastest withdrawal without any fees we are lucky that i am here in my country because  there is no fee in withdrawing bitcoins into fiat..
to me i want to receive my salary in bitcoin. because i do not need my salary for monthly shopping but if i feel the need i will change it in fiat curry and will use for  my need.
404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: July 15, 2016, 09:19:12 PM
Do you think that in this year halving is a profitable???

Halving has no effect over btc price.

Maybe it`s profitable for people who are mining bitcoins.I don`t know.

Perhaps, one month after the halving, the price will start to increase.

We need to have patience as the effect of halving will be felt after few months, so if you are looking for higher profits then you need to hold your coins for a while.

Halving has already had its effect on the BTC price and, yes, it will have even more effect in the future. Selling your BTC now is not a smart move IMO, it's better to hold them and buy them if you can.
Yes that right. One must hold till next two months if one wants to cash in on benefits of halving. However these are all speculations and if you are the one who has bought btc at $500 rate, should sell to prevent any possible loss in an unlikely event of price fall
i think no one is still ready to sell their bitcoin. they are just holding it because they know that in near future the price of bitcoin will increase more and more. and i think they are right because there are so many solid reason which shows that the price of bitcoin will increase in next few months.
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Just Too Stupid to Use Bitcoin Right Now on: July 15, 2016, 09:10:33 PM
I think bitcoin users do not fool many rich people who choose bitcoin compared to other commodities that have legality. but they chose bitcoin? they smart have chosen bitcoin
it does not mean that they are fool because they have join and using bitcoin. it mean that as the price of bitcoin is going to increase then why should one withdraw their bitcoin to use for shopping or any other activity. he want people to stay for the profit.
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: July 15, 2016, 09:07:54 PM
The lack of knowledge and the misunderstanding regarding its backing technology were the one which makes users to stand away from bitcoin as well other digital currencies.

This is very true, lack of knowledge and bad press leads to misunderstanding Bitcoin.  People tend to just believe on what is in the news without doing any research.  Sadly often times bitcoin is always involved in illegal stuff when it is presented in news.
Yeah thats one the  reason why people dont want to use bitcoin because they are always heard a news about bitcoin that involve in illegal or scam activity
This i also think before im afraid to hold those bitcoin for nothing but when i found this forum i learn a lot with bitcoin..
that is very good. good and bad elements are present everywhere both in real life and in internet. but this doesn't mean that we will stop working with their fear. i think we will do fight with them and will win.
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: July 15, 2016, 08:58:57 PM
Doge may have promoted bitcoin a bit as a meme(being a crypto-currency), other than that I don't think LTC or any other shitcoins actually influence bitcoin in any(positive) way.

I have to agree with you.

I know a lot of people who got started in crypto by using Doge as a joke first. They now use Bitcoin all the time. Doge has helped Bitcoin a lot. Although, Litecoin did help Bitcoin, because Dogecoin was based off of Litecoin, no Litecoin means no Dogecoin, no Dogecoin means less Bitcoin users. All the other shitcoins are only here for some people to make money.
but i think now only bitcoin is enough. and bitcoin can survive without altcoin. bitcoin need nothing and no any other currency.
408  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the next BIG event after block halving that may boost bitcoin price? on: July 15, 2016, 08:30:24 PM
i think the next big even may be the increase of bitcoin while crossing the physiological limit and that is 1000 USD. i think that will be biggest event after that the price will again boost more high i think.
409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Is it normal not to see my sending/receiving addresses while the bitcoin client on: July 15, 2016, 08:26:11 PM
yes it is normal. but there is always an option if you want to receive the address. or it is also better if you keep backup of our transaction through this you will be a little safe having backup data.
410  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: i heard bitcoin illegal in Taiwan...why? on: July 15, 2016, 10:21:27 AM
i guess not only in taiwan because as i know many country has banned bitcoin or say bitmain are illegal its same like in russians, china, venezuela, etc.
yes that is a fact. that bitcoin is still not legalize in so many other countries and not only in Taiwan. but still there so many other countries who have yet not given any statement about bitcoin that either it is legal or illegal there. but still people are continuously using it.
411  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: The legality of sending money abroad using bitcoin - am I doing something wrong? on: July 15, 2016, 10:13:30 AM
yes there is no doubt about this. if you are sending money abroad in bitcoin it is illegal. because bitcoin is still not legalize by any country. so if you sending money in form of bitcoin so it is a form of money laundlng.
412  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legalization of Bitcoins on: July 15, 2016, 08:51:37 AM
legalization of bitcoin is such a big problem. in previous days i have read a statement that japan and China has passed some bill in favour of bitcoin. they gave the right to the people that they can use bitcoin just like other currencies.
yes i also agree with you. but i think this problem should be solve now because it will impose a very bad effect on the status of bitcoin. i think china has now taken a step about the legalization of bitcoin.
413  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin and tax on: July 15, 2016, 07:21:57 AM
Anybody that makes money online has to declare how much he makes and pay tax, one way or the other they still have to pay taxes.
but i think the tax they are paying is is not income tax. i think they only pay the  bank charges and the company charges  who transfers the payment. because if bitcoin is not legalize in a country then how can the govt collect income tax on bitcoin.
yo want to say that a country cannot impose tax on anything which are no legalize by the govt. actually i have no idea about this. but i think that will be right. govt cannot impose tax on those idem which are no register with government.
414  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: 10% americans used bitcoin to ignore identity theft ?is this real or fake news? on: July 14, 2016, 09:31:28 PM
my personal view is that it will be totally fake news. because they cannot sell anything they have stolen from someone because it is more easy to find the person as compare to other people who are not using bitcoin.
415  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: China’s Proposed New Law Recognizes Bitcoin as ‘People’s Rights’ on: July 14, 2016, 09:25:58 PM
some people are thinking that china is holding bitcoin. i think they are just looking after their citizen and they give importance to the wishes and interest of their people and that is the reason that china is taking such a positive step in four of bitcoin.
416  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin regulation in California on: July 14, 2016, 09:14:22 PM
just like other countries it is also an issue in Califoria. i think bitcoin is yet not regularize in California. may the officials of California may be thinking about this. but still there is yet no conformation about this.
417  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Japan Passes Bill to Regulate Bitcoin Exchanges... on: July 14, 2016, 09:06:31 PM
we are hearing this news again and again some time on social media and some time from our friends and in bitcointalk. but still there is no conformation about this statement. i dont know either is for real or just the expectation.
418  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin and how it is in different countires on: July 14, 2016, 08:49:32 PM
Guys I think it will be free in the world because this can be easier for our life.bitcoin is very useful thing

No mate that's not possible, govt. will never support bitcoins and never allow bitcoin to get on the mainstream, that's true that its easy and convenient to use but different people thinks differently.
but i think it will take a little more time to change the mindset of the people. when the people know about the importance of bitocin defiantly they will compel the government to legalize bitcoin in their country and accept is as a stage currency.
419  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it illegal for me to sell my Bitcoins? on: July 14, 2016, 08:39:21 PM
It depends on where you're from. It's best to always report it when you're doing your taxes just to be safe and be sure you won't run into those kinda of problems of having to pay back.
can you mention any place where people pay taxes on bitcoin. i think still there is not a  single country who have imposed tax on bitcoin. it is still tax free and the reason is that still not a sing le country legalize bitcoin.
