401  Economy / Economics / Re: Is COVID-19 an excuse for governments & central banks to print money? on: November 13, 2020, 09:54:39 PM
I don't see it as an excuse because this will have a adverse effects on the economy for a long time. I don't think any government want anything that will downturn it economic performance in any way.
Yes people think it that way, without realizing if all banks or country can print out many money why they are not doing it? They even can't think that maybe it could affect the process, the value and the economy, not because we can't see the disadvantage of it, we may conclude that it is normal.
402  Other / Archival / Re: Pay for Your Passport with Bitcoin on: November 13, 2020, 08:24:40 PM
Bitcoin is slowly adapted by the community and it is a matter of time where people will decide whether to use the fiat currency or the cryptocurrency. This like a centralized currency mix by the decentralized currency. For me, this is not a bad idea because there is no perfect system if it is an absolute like absolute centralization system the same thing with absolute decentralization system (vice versa). A good system for an efficient and effective system to be used should be a mixed of decentralized and centralized system.
and it is good right? quite impressive. We can use bitcoin to travel, this is what we cannot do in the past years but now we can do it, we can see that as time passes by people are adapting the technology and they are also get interested in crypto and its benefits.
403  Economy / Economics / Re: Is COVID-19 an excuse for governments & central banks to print money? on: November 08, 2020, 10:28:21 PM
Printing of money will affect the current economic status of a certain country. It will cause inflation if the country has a lot monetary supply, I believe that if they will continue the production of money, the value of it will be lessen, the supply will be change but the value of each will decrease. So printing more money? Is not an answer, maybe using each country's fund is the answer not printing more of it, or they can ask for help from the United Nations.
404  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best DEX trading platform on: November 08, 2020, 08:39:50 PM
What's the best DEX trading platform which can compete with centralized platforms like Binance, Kraken, etc in terms of speed and UI but at the same time it should be dependable and robust. It doesn't sound safe to complete KYC and furnish details about us to CEX when transaction is tend to cross a certain limit.

Kindly share your suggestions, I have already used IDEX, Uniswap, Binance DEX
for me the best Dex that I used is idex, I did not encounter any problem with that Dex because I am using metamask before accessing it, it quite secured for me and direct to my eth address. But if we can consider uniswap as Dex if ever, I will choose uniswap among other exchange, it is fast and it is good based on my experiences. But well if I will choose between Dex and cex, I still choose cex. I think binance has a launchpad like Dex. So my vote is for binance too.
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Airdrop Conflict on: November 08, 2020, 06:20:12 PM
First of all, airdrop suppose to give you free tokens and doesn't need you to deposit any amount, if I am seing such so called airdrop I rather not join to it because if they are asking for money why do they launch an airdrop? for what? also binance is clear about that thing that it is your responsibility to filter out things and to know some thing if it is scam or not, best thing to do is work hard to earn it again but mate keep in mind that thing so that you will not get scammed again.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: November 06, 2020, 07:27:38 PM
Actually its really indeed difficult to earn money not just here in crypto world but also from the outside world. It takes a lot of hardwork, patience, effort for you to earn a great amount of money. Here in crypto world you need a lot of understanding and knowledge for the daily communnicative activities most especially trading of knowledge and ideas just like what we are doing now.
407  Other / Archival / Re: Hong Kong bans retail trading of digital currencies on: November 04, 2020, 02:12:41 PM
this will reduce fraudulent act of people, but it will also affects the current price of bitcoin and other altcoin, but it will not have a huge impact but slightly changes, since the lost number of people uses crypto is in Asia. but since we already know that China has already a plan having their own coin digital yuan, maybe that is one of the reason, but I cannot say that digital yuan will stop other altcoin to be purchased in hk.
408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: November 04, 2020, 09:23:04 AM
You are right on what you've said, you need to bet what you are afford to lose, but the thing is we should move forward after this failures, because if we don't, it will only make us frustrated and will keep up on regretting. I remember last time I lost 3eth I think in trading, it hurts yes  but we need to move on, and make it grow again so that we can play or trade again in good shape with healthy mindset.
409  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What technical indicators do you use and why on: November 04, 2020, 02:57:19 AM
Try out the ichimoku cloud system, its one of the best thing you can ever get to predict the direction in both short and long term, if you can master it well!
You Can get many tutorials on it on youtube.
Never heard about this before, but is it really good? Is it an software or what. I don't know this but before I am using MACD, but that was before because I recently stop trading due to some personal problems. But now I am getting back to trading, reading some books and monitoring some charts, but I am not using any tools as of the moment.
410  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 myths about crypto trading tools on: November 03, 2020, 11:51:46 PM
These things are useful, it can help you in your trading. But day trader should not use stop loss since they can monitor their trades without using it, stop loss is highly recommended if you are going to make it in a long term investment wherein you will let your asset in your  exchange wallet, and if sudden change will be made, it will not affect you so much.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Really Happening To The Market? on: November 03, 2020, 05:52:49 PM
Everything that is happening right now is brought by the pandemic. All aspects are affected, economically, financially, spiritually, the well being of each and everyone and most especially our mental health. What happened this year is really traumatic because a lot of people died, a lot of businesses are forcedly closed because of bankruptcy and a lot of people are financially unstable and these are some of the reasons why even the bitcoin and any other crypto currencies are affected.
412  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: November 03, 2020, 03:40:45 PM

Bitcoin is very uncomfortable to pay for everyday goods... It has a very large commission for such purposes! As for cashless payments, there have long been banking applications or the same PayPal...
Aside from that bitcoin can be send without physical contact, if you need to send it with a lesser fee you may convert it to xrp ,  charge will be 0.5 only I think. Bitcoin is widely known in the world now, paypal is good but I rather choose bitcoin, in bitcoin I can invest it or hold it till it will reach its ATH, in paypal there is no ATH.And this question has been answered years ago , and still bitcoin is in the top among all coins.

414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking: Sources that show information about suspended/injured missing players on: October 31, 2020, 10:00:13 AM
Such thing doesn't exist for all I know (and I wouldn't like if there was such a website Grin). You would have to go to different places to find this information and an all-in-one website would never be as reliable as dedicated sites are, and even those are not always super reliable.

US Sports is probably best organized, since they have so many stats for everything, here is for example the injury report for MLB and NFL week 7. For soccer Flashscore has built a large database over the years and you can find information about missing/injured players for the big leagues there.

Basketball (non-NBA), Volleyball, Ice Hockey (non-NHL) etc. are really small sports and you will maybe find some overviews on the leagues websites, but in 95+% of the cases not. There you would have to go the team sites, fan forums, local newspapers etc.

If your research is related to betting, then I can tell you, that the lack of such an overview of all sports in one site is a good thing, since it gives you the possibility to gain an edge, if you put in the work and search for information that is not easily accessible. If you just go to page XY and see that two superstars from an european ice hockey team are missing, then everyone has this information. If you (can only) get this information by reading a local newspaper, then you are one of few persons, who has this information and can get valuable odds.
I doubt it also. I dont think there is a certain page or website that is existing for a particular reasons like players from different events that's gone, injured, died or etc. I think if you are really looking for sports update like this, you can directly search it on google or go to the main website for a specific event like basketball or the NBA page and etc.
415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Follow your mind! on: October 31, 2020, 06:32:52 AM
There are so many costly mistakes investors make that may be regrettable. Such as
1. Borrowing money to invest
nope this is red flag for me,I will never lend a money for my investment not unless it is to recover my existing Business in which i didthis last pandemic season.
Quote
2. Greedy expectations in reward
all of us are entitled to look for good reward but not too much that almost impossible to happen.
Quote
3. Total reliance of people's opinion. Among many others.
Why not just believe your instinct and your decisions?
Quote
My emphasy is the third. It is good to listen to people opinions but not all opinion counts. Many here just make confident predictions that has no base, go to prediction topics in our bitcointalk to confirm this.and you know how painful it is when you lose just on someones prediction. It is better you follow your mind during investment and bear the consequencies thereafter.
Don't listen to them just read their comments and suggestion but in the end make your own.
Me too, I don't recommend to lend some money for gambling or investment purposes because you can lose a great amount if you lose a certain game or the project you invested in is not legit. It is much better if you have your own money for playing gambling or investing into a particular project. Atleast you don't have to pay for the money you lend.
416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Death during illegal cockfighting raid on: October 30, 2020, 03:37:32 PM
According to the chief of police in that area this is the first time that this things happened it's a freak accident the sharp blade made it's way to the arteries of his leg causing heavy loss of blood, it takes a good Kristo or the cockfight referee to handle those cock with a sharp blade properly, it's very unfortunately circumstances because cockfighting is not allowed during a pandemic anywhere else int he Philippines but there are gamblers who are stubborn to gamble.
Hahaha no wonder most of the Filipinos are hard headed even if we are facing this Covid19 pandemic they can still manage to play illegal cock fights and etc. because it is the source of income of most of indigenous people in the Philippines most especially on the low lying areas, barrios and informal settlers' area. And they aren't that afraid to the authorities co'z they know how to escape when they caught.
417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cashless gaming now available in land-based casino in USA on: October 30, 2020, 01:39:03 PM

With the cashless wagering digital wallet now in place, will you be interested to go to Blue Chip Casino to experience its innovative digital payment system? Also, do you look forward to having more land-based casinos accept Bitcoin, and if they do, will you be inclined to go to these Bitcoin-accepting land-based casinos?

It's been almost 2 years since I was the last time in a physical casino in the States. I was hoping to go again in January next year, but with corona pandemic still on the rise, I don't think this is going to be possible. Cashless Casinos with digital wallets and accepting crypto currencies sound awesome. I would definitely go and check them out if it's allowed again to travel.
It seems to be a good news if cashless system would be approve in some businesses most especially in physical casino in where a lot of players goes just to have fun, meet new people and earn money. It would be safe for them because they don't need to touch fiat just to pay for their chips and everything. In some Casinos there are grandfathers and grandmothers who are allowed to play and I think is it much better for them to use this cashless transaction to avoid the virus.
418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi bets vs single bets on: October 30, 2020, 12:13:42 PM
I'm just betting for entertainment and just placing bet on the team that I support and really like and so I just bet on the who would win or who would lose in short a single bet. I think by just betting it's risky already but placing multiple bets would increase the risk.
I do think twice before I bet for a particular team so I don't need to vote for any other team and also I have limited money access that's why I only bet one time. And those who bets for almost all the teams, they have a lot of money to spend with, well good for them but us who has a limited money ones is really enough. I also bet for entertainment purposes only.
419  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Cryptocurrency scam. on: October 30, 2020, 08:04:22 AM
Kaya dapat maging maingat tayo sa pagiinvest at pagtitiwala kasi even kakilala natin pwede tayong lokohin. Sa social media rin marami akong nakikita na biglang nagcocomment sa mga pages para manghikayat ng mga tao na sumali sa isang campaign at tumangkilik ng bitcoin pero di ko pa natry at wala akong balak kasi baka mamaya scam pala.
420  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Vlogs on how to earn in Bitcointalk on: October 30, 2020, 05:00:27 AM
It's good but some of us here are not here to earn but to learn. Nagregister ako dito sa forum nitong January lang and I'm not even making posts or reply because I'd rather spent my time reading those good topics that will enlighten my knowledge about bitcoin. Kaya let's spread some good reply or topics that will help everyone.

Tama naman pero mas maganda while learning pwede ka naman mag earn at the same time.
