401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Launched: PiCoin [POS+POW] [SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN=AIRDROP] on: April 04, 2017, 01:26:57 PM
What is the maturity for coins in POS I cant find the info on the site or on the first page. I would recommend the dev add more information on the front page like total amount of coins % already distributed ect.
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: April 04, 2017, 01:03:51 PM
It would form a niche community and probably be worth less, but it would still have a grat function and role to play.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SpreadCoin | Decentralize Everything (decentralized blockexplorer coming) on: April 04, 2017, 04:46:44 AM
Are service nodes released yet, or only on the testnet and we have to wait for the block explorer to be released?
When the original developer (Mr. Spread) left (suddenly dissappeared), they were in the middle of being tested.
This was many years ago, and you can find the thread on spreadcointalk if you want, it's pretty easy to find. Smiley

Do you know if there are plans to ever continue the work on them ?
404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: April 04, 2017, 04:41:23 AM
Paypal has a use for the first world that bitcoin probably wont completely take over. We might take over the market cap, but they will probably still exist.
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inviting reasoned and civil criticism of my big-block position please? on: April 04, 2017, 04:40:09 AM
Why are you against segwit though, which will directly help the problem. Even if it doesnt solve it, it will still help it.
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I support Bitcoin Unlimited and hate the wizard alien overlords on: April 04, 2017, 04:37:49 AM
No!! its the FBI who runs bitcoin NOT aliens, JEEZ.
407  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: April 04, 2017, 04:37:04 AM
I think that at some point after may BU might fork or if they dont the fees will keep getting higher and more people will get pissed off.
408  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: April 04, 2017, 04:36:12 AM
I love these threads and hope that in the long run we can look back to them and laugh that bitcoin was 300 at one point and we thought that was too expensive.
409  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: April 04, 2017, 04:34:55 AM
It gets harder and harder as the market cap raises, but we are still at a point where bitcoin is small enough to be heavily manipulated.
410  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: April 04, 2017, 04:33:53 AM
Do whatever you want, they are your coins.
411  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: April 04, 2017, 04:33:21 AM
I agree it wont replace fiat, basing an economy on a deflationary asset is a terrible idea for lending and borrowing. If bitcoin acts as strictly a transitory currency it would still add a massive amount of value.
412  Economy / Economics / Re: Which country are you from? Here list THIRTY popular bitcoin countries for trade on: April 04, 2017, 04:32:01 AM
I am from India and you listed in the right position I believe. Not far away from the top 10 and it is the real case actually. In India bitcoin is very popular now and companies (crypto based) have formed within the country in recent years. These companies are offering best trading platforms for Indians and as the value of 1BTC = Four Figures money it is gaining more popularity here. I mostly use bitcoin for trading in real cash and I earn a lot from it.

This is great, India is a sleeping economic giant not only in the bitcoin sense, but in the developing world sense. I have been loving watching the volume go up over time there and hope it continues.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: April 04, 2017, 04:30:36 AM
So many free coins, and no pow,i dont think this can develop and grow

Its interesting at least in my opinion and id like to see where it goes personally.
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi reveals himself, what would be of Bitcoin? on: April 04, 2017, 04:29:46 AM
He would be much more underwhelming than what anyone believes. Meeting your idol is always underwhelming and it often shows that someone is flawed. IMO I hope satoshi is dead or never reveals himself. Lets keep the myth of the man in the way we all want him to be.
415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitlisten - the best bitcoin transaction visualizer on: April 04, 2017, 04:27:28 AM
Bitlisten is pretty great, I like to just sitback and listen to the dings of the blockchain working. I dont need a VR visualizer persponally like the one on steam.
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Block issue SOLVED!? Extension Blocks on: April 04, 2017, 04:25:50 AM
We need segwit to do extension blocks. They've been a part of segwit for a long time.

i think minners might seriously reconsider segwit, if they could get extension blocks shortly after.
my god, imagine 4MB effective coreblocksize + extension blocks + LN
bitcoin is going to scale up Up UP!!!!!!!! like a MOFO

If only BU and the miners were not blocking advancement
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GCH] GiveCash-X13 POS | ICO#1 In Progress on: April 04, 2017, 04:24:34 AM
so many ICOs, why are they all the rage these days?
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Launched: PiCoin [POS+POW] [SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN=AIRDROP] on: April 04, 2017, 02:51:38 AM
Do any exchanges currently support picoin? Also how often is the signature campaign updated? Also what is the largest mining pool? It seems like the ones posted account for a small amount of the network.
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Virtual Reality Simulator of the Bitcoin Blockchain just Came to Steam on: April 04, 2017, 01:14:42 AM
Its interesting but why does it have to be on steam ?
420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Crimes, and Terrorism on: April 04, 2017, 01:14:05 AM
People who flip out at how bitcoin could be used for terrorism should check out other coins that actually offer privacy like Monero. The hardest part though for any of these coins is safely pulling it out into a fiat currency you desire like USD. You could trade in person but in large amounts its dangerous and very hard. The exchanges are the chokepoints.
