401  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: September 07, 2016, 10:22:47 AM
2016 is till now a good year for bitcoin overall, Increased media coverage, wider acceptance and better understanding of bitcoins rather than the pure negative opinion of before, 2017 looks promising with increased adoption and projects that are still pending release.
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing Bitcoin illegal? on: September 07, 2016, 10:21:03 AM
I don't know where you are located but stealing anything is illegal all around the world, bitcoin is a currency or even according to governments at least a commodity, of course stealing it is considered illegal, Whether the thief gets caught or not is not the question.
403  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why we must trust with bitcoin? on: September 05, 2016, 07:18:02 PM
I guess bitcoin is trusted alright by almost anyone here, Bitcoin gained a positive view among almost everyone that knows and follows it around, A completely concrete system allowing users to exchange money with ease.
404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Amazon.com still resisting the use of BTC for payment? on: September 05, 2016, 07:14:51 PM
it would create tons of issues for amazon if they add it IMO, the legal sources of funds and the claiming issues etc... as well as the impact adding bitcoin might have on their existing user base since bitcoin has a negative image at the current time, I guess they are waiting for BTC to go more mainstream to make a move like this.
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brave Browser Launches Bitcoin Micropayments on: September 05, 2016, 07:12:55 PM
Would be quite interesting to see if this works out, it would be good for the user for not having ads and great for the website for getting a compensation for ad blocking, I would like to see the reaction of users and if they will use it or rather use the free adblock.
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: September 05, 2016, 07:10:27 PM
I think bitcoin would survive just fine without altcoins, not sure about the other way around though, Bitcoin is still the original and cryptocurrency to beat but with new rising altcoins we might see some competition and might even see bitcoin losing some of it's grounds.

410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: September 05, 2016, 06:55:38 PM
I am more of a PC nerd, I prefer online gambling than real gambling and although the experience or feelings may be different or more favorable I'm more comfortable doing that in my PC and not in a casino or a suspicious place like this.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: September 05, 2016, 06:51:13 PM
Israel   vs  Italy  WIN Italy at quote @1,55

I'm following you on that one, IMO the odds are relatively good when you compare the stats and players of each team.
412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Open 2016 - Thoughts and Tips on: September 05, 2016, 06:38:03 PM
Personally I'm rooting for Djokovic to win this tournament, He seems to be the most consistent and high-class tennis player among the current generation, without Fed I think no other player will be much of a competition.
Surprised by how Nadal was knocked out this early though.
413  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever lost Bitcoin? on: September 05, 2016, 06:33:53 PM
I lost few bitcents due to having installed a wallet and did not carefully keep the private keys, Ended up with the address which I can view on blockchain but no access to the BTC in it.
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome To The Blockchain on: September 05, 2016, 06:32:16 PM
Nice song, added to my playlist, I like hearing BTC songs, it's going mainstream!
415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or a gold bar with the same value? on: September 05, 2016, 06:30:03 PM
I would probably go for the bitcoins, They can be easily exchanged far more than gold IMO and you can rely on them being reliable, Even if you don't have interest in keeping them long term they are still the more convenient payment method IMO.

off-topic: where can you find such guy?  Grin
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are bitcoin ATMs worth using? on: September 05, 2016, 06:26:24 PM
I think they are worth using if they located in an area around you, The rate isn't that competitive IMO and I wouldn't go around for one, it's relatively cheaper than Coinbase or the like but it's still the hassle of going to a far place for a non-competitive rate is too much.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets? on: September 05, 2016, 06:24:34 PM
I guess it depends on how you are using your wallet and your PC, You can either focus on security and install a secure wallet like Armory or focus on ease of use and download electrum, I guess the user needs determine how you use it.
418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank??? on: September 05, 2016, 06:15:51 PM
No real banks in the current time, There are some risky investment as far as I know but no safe investment or a real bank, Just minor HYIP's claiming to be banks and not doing any lending to get the interest, I think a real bank is something that should happen with bitcoins sometime soon.
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a good way to store money? on: September 05, 2016, 06:12:43 PM
I think so if it's for small amounts and for longer term, Shorter term as well as big amounts are not suitable for investing in bitcoin IMO because of the even higher risk associated with it, it's also suitable if you don't intend to withdraw "if you just want to keep it as BTC".
420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: September 05, 2016, 06:07:52 PM
Never did I do that and have no interest in it though, I have to admit it's interesting to see someone making a confession like that in an online forum but I doubt it would have an impact on the user anyway, I think people are free to do what they want as long as they don't harm someone else.
