if this is bitcoin ( or later coins based on the bitcoin core ) - the stratum will not work due to the 'rpc-less' style of daemon its using
Where to find details about this feature?

well - most of the info can be found on the bitcoin site ...

but if you are after technical / code - then their git is the best place ...

site ...

Code:

git ...

Code:

I managed to fix all errors and got CoiniumServer up. But next problem appeared.

I enabled backend, but I can not access it on metrics page

thats great ...

it would be great for documented guides on how - a massive howto Smiley ...

Do you have redis installed? Try
Code:
service redis-server start
Make sure your coin client accepts RPC connections.

Redis works, client accepts rpc.

but still I dont get this

Code:
14:09:02 [Error] [PaymentProcessor] [Bitcoin] Halted as we can not connect to configured coin daemon: An unknown exception occured while making json request.
14:09:02 [Error] [NetworkInfo] [Bitcoin] Can not read getdifficulty(): Error getting response stream (ReadDone4): ServerProtocolViolation
14:09:02 [Error] [NetworkInfo] [Bitcoin] Can not probe submitblock() support: Error getting response stream (ReadDone4): ServerProtocolViolation
14:09:02 [Error] [NetworkInfo] [Bitcoin] Can not read getinfo(): Error getting response stream (ReadDone4): ServerProtocolViolation
14:09:02 [Error] [NetworkInfo] [Bitcoin] Can not read getmininginfo(): An unknown exception occured while making json request.
14:09:02 [Error] [NetworkInfo] [Bitcoin] Can not read getblocktemplate(): Error getting response stream (ReadDone4): ServerProtocolViolation

Edit 1:

This is my deps folder which I got from git. Am I missing something?

Edit 2:
Now this happens

Edit 3:
Fixed Edit 1 and Edit 2
Now I get Error while reading json response

Can someone help me before I start preparation for seppuku

this stratum does not support accessibility to the bitcoin-cli - as mentioned to you in pm ...

we are trying to get devs to come join us and help us with much more than just pool code ...

if anyone knows how to code - and can recode with us and join - please pm me ... or post on the cwi thread ...

407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EGC] EverGreenCoin | Environmental Green Causes | Full 7% PoS | Foundation on: September 23, 2016, 05:03:44 AM

Great stuff EverGreenCoin. I like the look of the roadmap. Thanks for keeping us updated, a lot of the coins I'm following don't tend to publish any plans =)
Good to know the road map of EverGreenCoin... Great going.... surely this coin if different from others. I love the faster transaction time of EverGreenCoin.  Wink

Thank you, both of you. EverGreenCoin has a clear path to achieving its objectives of having a positive impact on our environment and doing so while being a profitable investment for holders via staking.

Yes, EverGreenCoin is certainly different tree in the forest, if you will. We are commonly grouped into the classification of a 'cause coin'. What sets us apart from even that honorable pack is the cause is in support of all our environment and the many ways it can be improved. The scope of that can be very big, and it should be. As the newly forming branches grow and new ones emerge, our impact will be broader and more widespread giving EverGreenCoin more and more exposure. This new exposure has and will continue to bring new minds and hands into the community. I like this analogy, if the divisions are branches and the foundation is the trunk, the community is our root-system. That growth there will nourish the many budding blossoms of the branches. The cycle repeats.

Fueled by the need for environmental change in all its various forms, a fuel that will surly only increase in octane, EverGreenCoin will flourish in its causes and its profitability while doing so.

Thanks again for the kind words!

well put steven ...

really well put mate ...

408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: September 21, 2016, 11:12:58 AM
guys. Release #4 has not yet been released. I have a busy schedule in the next few weeks..
so sorry .... I have already prepared the money ...
You can use #3 Still the fastest...
#4 is faster but use more power.
I tried to reduce the power and rewrote a powersaving kernel with the tdp limited and managed 130MHASH on the 1060 3gb with only 25% TDP. (30 Watt) (EVGA 1060)  (release #5 ?)
Release #4 works best on the 6gb 2x fan cards, the 1060 3gb is trottleing.
When do you planing to distribute it on the donators ?

Donators or buyers?

Buyers get one copy. Donators get improved performance for free...

It's very interesting that now there's a difference.

Who should be considered a buyer then, considering also that the latest revisions had a fee of 0.1 (buy) plus a 3.3% constant fee called "donation" (with some bugs due reconnections)?

You cannot change rules after someone makes a purchase, especially if you call it firstly a donation. Sounds like a way to cut-off a good portion of your customers.

he has ...

one of the ones that used to support him a HUGE amount too ...

ok - back to work and thefarm - then sleep Wink ...

409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EGC] EverGreenCoin | Environmental Green Causes | Full 7% PoS | Foundation on: September 19, 2016, 04:31:27 AM
I had a rather lengthy conversation with David, the owner of SciFi Domains. He has recently lost a loved one in his family and would feel more conbfortable moving the anticipated website ETA to 2 weeks, as opposed to 1 week. Please be reminded that SciFi Domains was contracted at a very considerable discount and some of the work is being done after hours. David and his staff are doing a top-notch job developing the new EverGreenCoin website. It truly will be a portal for all things 'evergreen', and 'main-street easy', at that. The quality of which that is well worth any needed wait.

Of course, and I feel I can say this for the entire EverGreenCoin community, our condolences to David and his family during their time of loss.

I noticed that the http://www.coiniumserv.com is no longer for the coiniumserv software. I am willing to host the coiniumserv webpage for free. I am in the process of building my first mining pool with coiniumserv. So I would like to help the cause.

Has anyone heard from bonesoul, about continuing this project. I am will to donate to the project but I want to know if the project is still growing.

ill be with you on that also ...

i think its great software that is left for dead ...

our team will be looking at the code / software in the coming months - and see what can be done with it ...

for the time being - we are building a series of mpos pools just to get th mining started on various coins ...

any devs out there that are willing to work together ( or even with / for us ) is more than welcome to message me ...

413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EGC] EverGreenCoin | Environmental Green Causes | Full 7% PoS | Foundation on: September 10, 2016, 01:14:46 AM
So sorry, I could not post a link to the hangout because BCT was down from all these DDoS attacks.

I was able to get links out on social media however, and we did have quite a few participants, 6 in total.

To summarize:
  • EGC Android wallet (EGC Foundation) -  because of the downfalls of staking on an Android device, which will usually be a cell phone, i.e. constant battery drain, high chance of being lost or stolen, we discussed the possibility of proceeding with an Android wallet that only stores, does not stake, EverGreenCoin. This is at suggestion after a month and a half of failed promises from Android devs and negotiations with them that failed. The present budget for the development of an EGC Android wallet is not sufficiently funded to hire an Android dev for as long as it seems the task demands.

Now the good news, EGC has the budget presently to pay for the non-staking Android wallet and the Android dev is well known and trusted. With this option also comes with it the expenses for another block explorer, this one an ABE, and the associated VPS to run it. This cost is also within the present budget. I suggest EGC goes forward with a non-staking Android wallet to make that option available for person-to-person EGC commerce and business-to-consumer EGC commerce should the merchant decide to run an Android or has an already Android Point Of Sales terminal. Owners of Android devices like phones would be advised to stake the bulk of their EGC on a computer or a web service like poswallet.com until the option of a staking EGC Android wallet became viable. Budget wise, it is best for EGC to take the now feasible step in the right direction and proceed with an Android wallet that does not stake EGC. The community did agree with this plan.

  • New EGC website (EGC Foundation) - the community was provided a glimpse of the new site via some mockups provided by David and shared by me at today's community meeting. The EGC marketplace that will be linked to the forum profiles (of businesses or individuals) being discussed much. EGC merchants, marketplace or otherwise, will also be advertised on the first page of the new site. The community was delivered a 2 week ETA.

  • Solar Staker/Miner (EGC Renewables) - after much debate about many mini-computers such as Pine64 and Pi devices, it was agreed that the C.H.I.P. remains the best solution for the solar staker/miner. This is because many devices would need additional equipment purchased for wi-fi and power management/monitoring. The C.H.I.P. fits the project perfectly, not only in price. However; because of a delay in shipping of the C.H.I.P. by its manufacture development on the C.H.I.P. itself has been slowed. My own order was pushed back to the middle of next month, not the originally anticipated delivery of this week. The community agreed proceeding with C.H.I.P in-spite of their growing pains is the best option for the project at this time.

Discussion was also held about the various ways to design the EGC solar miner/staker and its components. It was agreed we are going down the best path of making functional prototypes at this time.

  • Montana State Hemp Festival (EGC Cannabis) - Bow is onsite and helping set-up for the festival. He is without Internet connectivity but was able to touch base with me this morning. Pictures will be forth-coming over the next few days.

Many thanks to those that attended!

i missed the meeting - and as such - am a little behind with it all ...

but tanx to you steven - with your ever diligent updates - i can catch up a little later today ...

hi all ...

during the move that i have been undertaking - the pool systems were delayed which caused a backlog of services that needed to be pushed through ...

now that my move has been completed - and all i need to do is start settling into the new life i have here - ill be working tirelessly to continue with theteam - the projects that we have taken on ...

the pool services and systems have been forced through a few minutes ago - and should bring the pool back to normal operations - with the hi and lo diff stratums being restarted for good measure also ...

so you will only see a very small interruption in functionality - and all payouts as well and mining should resume back to normal ...

please let us know if any issues are encountered ...

tanx for using and mining with the official goldblocks pool ...

We are debating having this weeks google hangout at 20:00 GMT on Friday September 9th. This is 24 hours of the time of this writing, ~4 PM EST.

If you wish to attend and would like to suggest a better time, so that you are more likely to attend, please suggest a new time.

Most of us can and are willing to move the time to any time, so long as we know ahead of time, we will gladly move the time to gain your attendance. You do not need a video camera, nor even a microphone, to attend. There is a group chat with just text, if you feel more comfortable with that only or have no mic or camera.

If you only wish to just observe but be present, you also are more than welcome and yes, the flexibility of the hangout time is open to your opinion of a better time as well.

Thanks!

im not familiar with google hangouts - and i am unfamiliar with the time difference ... but ill work it out ...

if i miss this one - and there is a next one - ill attend and join in ...

ill be settling in for the next few weeks - and make sure that everything on my end is fully functional ... soon will be the full upgrades of the nodes also - as ive had word back from the isp that the backend upgrades were completed successfully ...

new vps / server systems will be implemented in the coming weeks also - to cater for the expansion of the cwi infrastructure - so any free time i have will be dedicated to that - and the rest of the free time to everything else liek these meets ...

hope to be able to make the time frames ...

416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW][ANONYMOUS][SHA256/SCRYPT/SCRYPT-N/X11/NEO]CoinKing.io on: September 06, 2016, 03:21:16 AM
It's pathetic, too because some of us actually have coins sitting in this pool that were never paid out although it was requested. So basically the owners of the pool stole money from us that isn't theirs. What a scam.

well ...

we are setting up a series of mpos pools currently to start mining various coins on an internal level ( which is why we have them in 'alpha' mode ) but are releasing them to the public to mine soon ...

the 'beta' stage means that they are fully functional and test - but will have the hidiff stratums active and being tested - then 'full' or 'production' mode will mean that they have been all tested ...

mpos is no where near the complexity and versatility of what coinking has been - but at least we will not go down and run off with peoples coins ... and we are accessible also ...

we are also doing a deal with a known unomp style pool - and if finalized - we will have a number of algorithms that can be mined and paid out with also ... but that deal is yet to be completed - and will let every one know in our thread when that happens ... currently the only algos available in that pool is sha256 - scrypt - x11 ... we will be adding another 4 algos when we can agree and finalize the takeover ...

in any case - it is a real pity this pool was left to rot - then die altogether - as we would have been very happy to do a takeover ...

420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: --- ChainWorks Industries --- on: September 03, 2016, 12:31:36 PM
What exactly do your team do? I will like your explanation for us the non-tech people

tanx for the question ...

cwi is the umbrella for all the projects we have running ...

this includes coins ( granite - ozziecoin ) as well as affiliated and supported coins ( evergreencoin - berncash - donationcoin - mastertradercoin - droidz ) ... it includes our inhouse projects such as dbm ( donate by mining ) which will eventually be assimilated into the coin project ( granite being our flagship ) ...

the website on completion will have most of the information available at launch - but will also grow to include all the other projects we are affiliated with - and support ...

this support is not based on marketing of the other projects ( as we are NOT a marketing team ) - but moreso the backend base for some of these projects ... like nodes - staking systems - and technical support of varying degrees ...

it also includes the major subset of projects - collectively known as 'thefarm' - for mining and the mining support for the projects in our arsenal ... this also includes the pools that we have in 'alpha' testing ( only because i have yet to change them over to beta / full production ) and the internal mine switching scrypt ...

'theteam' consists of three of us currently - each with a set of skills and expertise we bring to the table ... while we contract other talent from the industry to complete certain other tasks that the core team does not or cannot do ...

alphabetically ...

chrysophylax ( crysx - me ) - infrastructure / backend server / 'thefarm' developer and team lead ...
skaia - backend web / php / bot and exchange coordinator and developer ...
steven saxton - core coin / wallet and c++ developer ...

what we have planned for the coming months is an exercise in development and a comprehensive experiment into the integration of projects under one roof - as well as the foray into the use of crypto in everyday life ... hence the design and development of 'theshop' ...

all this will be updated and comprehensively detailed in due course on the op and website - as well as the following commentary of each of the projects after the op ...

i personally have a massive relocation to make - covering almost 2500kms one way ... so i will not have settled for about two weeks ... but the latest granite wallet has been tested and is functioning really well ... i have yet to update the git and windows / osx wallets ... this is in preparation for the full rebase that granite will undergo - which includes a PoW / PoS hybrid core - masternodes - and a few other wallet integrations ... one of which has never been attempted before ...

tanx ...
