Try both. Then if you are good at day or position trading, you'll have more to put in your long term investments and you could take some short term profits for whatever else as well. Obviously do your research though before you start throwing money at random ass trades. Youtube is a great resource for this.
Youtube has been a great help for me including those crypto and blockchain experts because they give me a perspective of how should I look at the market in a way that would motivate me to continue earning and to invest on it. If one should have time then trading for short term is a good source of income but it is more risky than long term trading or investing because it could compromise your emotions that would result to losses instead of profits. I would choose both as well and as cliche as it is, do your own research. |

Same here. Real estate investment is one of the goals that I want to have. In our place, the land is not that expensive and only those rich people were able to benefit from it because they can afford it while those who are living paycheck to paycheck are having a hard time so one of my aim is to acquire a real estate and then plant some crops and vegetables. It is a land for agricultural purposes and I want to buy back some of the lands my relatives sold to other people. Lands value alone is going up so having crops or trees in it would make it much more valuable. |

Well, that is the reasons why poeple invest in bitcoin. People invest in bitcoin because they believe in the potential profits of bitcoin. No matter how low it dumps for sure the market will bounce back to a much higher value. That's how the market play, when the price is dump that doesn't mean it will dump forever. As long as many people invest in the cryptocurrency the market will continue go up and down but not totally down. Believing in this unpredictable market is why people continue to stay.
I believe bitcoin would go back up again because it is just the nature of the market cycle. We experience a meteoric rise last year and it is not that expected that it will go that high so it is not an organic growth wherein there is regular taking of profits that's why its drop is this dip as well. Every time the price drops more, its a pain for the holders and maybe some cannot just take it anymore. If you have more funds then you are lucky because you can average down. Those who are patient will eventually be able to reap the fruits of being able to wait until such time we are in profits again. |

The people that are selling deep down already know this, they know there is a potential the price recovers and goes even higher but they are not willing to wait anymore, the reason for this is they had no plan, they just invested because bitcoin was the hottest investment in December and they thought they could make some easy money and now they realized they are mistaken.
This would be it. People are not that patient anymore. If you are the one who bought near all time then you would be greatly discouraged of how the price turn out. Many people are only interested when they are in profit but if they are at a loss then they easily surrender and find another earning opportunity. The disadvantage of this is that they spread bad news about bitcoin because they have bad experience with it so others would not want to invest on it anymore. What happen in December is an eye opener to those who are willing to stay and to those who are in it for only a short time. |

Yeah right! It should have been in December when all the market is in green and we are enjoying our profits but unfortunately, many people weren't able to get out during that time and now become bag holders of coins that has lost more than half of its value not knowing when they should be able to sell it at a profit. The lesson I've learned during the bear market is to always have a plan and take profit when you can because the time may come when your coin already lose 90% of its value and that's the time you would sell it because of disappointment and hopelessness. |

Some may just be scams from the beginning, others may, because they didn't reach their target
Some ICOs fail because their mission is not clear and some projects are already implemented with the same goal as their ICO that is already successful. Some ICOs just copy the idea of others and when the people knew that they are just copy cats, people wouldn't want to invest in it resulting to a failure. The ICO may just be a scam because they don't have a unique idea. Some ICOs that are legit fail because they weren't able to attract more investors due to the lack of marketing strategy and the team is not that active when it comes to communication to the supporters of its community. The ICOs goal should be understandable in layman's term so that investors would be able to understand what they are hoping for and if the project is viable. |

OP, I think this question is an already answered one because lately, most bitcoin or cryptocurrency enthusiastist are only interested in trading in a decentralized exchanges because it gives you the trader or investor the freedom to manage your cryptocurrencies without monitoring from any second other third parties. I guess most investors whom have no other choice than to use this centralized exchanges are those from countries that demands the use of it and they definitely have no choice.
The problem with decentralized ones is that the volume is pretty low so for those people who has large amount of coins, they would wait for sometime for the coins to be listed in centralized exchanges because that's where the volume is. We would say that most cryptocurrency enthusiast are interested in trading in decentralized ones but why is it I can always see people who are asking when the coin would be listed in binance when it is a centralized one? It is because we know that volume would be there when it is listed in a centralized exchange. |

If you have a lot of funds and no time to do bounty then just buy the token and wait for the time you can use the token or you can sell it for a profit. If you don't have funds then you can join the bounty program but you need to invest your time because bounties would last for sometime and usually it would last for months depending on when they would end their ICO. Both are good but if you want to have less risk then joining the bounty campaign is better but you can only receive a small amount especially if there are many hunters who would join the campaign. |

It's red again because that how it's used to be. It's all natural scene when you are into cryptocurrency. Due to its market volatility, expect something like this to happen and even worse than these but just hold on. Don't sell off your crypto assets for all of these will just pass and better days are coming for cryptos.
We just need a little patience for the prices to recover again. We are still now in a period wherein bitcoin price has been push lower over and over again. With just a little push upwards, they would double push it downwards resulting to lower prices. The challenge for us now is to be patient or if you are risk taker then you can trade from time to time through scalping. Holders are suffering now because the portfolio is bloody and red days seems never ending but we will eventually experience the greens again sooner or later. |

Yes it depends on the project if it is worth it to join or not. Of course you wouldn't just immediately submit your documents if you think there is something fish with the project. If anything, a project that requires KYC for me is an advantage to an ICO because it would mean that they are just compliant with the authorities so that they wouldn't have any problems in the future and they can trace the flow of money. |

this is the umpteenth time bitcoin prices throw deep enough, yet always able to go back up again. it has proved that investor confidence has not diminished but little panic that has always happened here is mainly due to new investors.
I dont think investors only has small panic. I see investors have very high panic and it can be proven with the recent market condition, very bad. However, as true believer we need to be stronger to keep supporting this world. Only people who not really believe will quit from this situation. Those who are in the cryptocurrency for a long time may not panic but instead loading up more because they know that the market will reverse eventually. You can still profit from the small movement in the market but if you have more fiat then you can invest more. Prices will not go down forever. There are still many supporters of the crypto market and as long as there is demand then it will go up. One should take the risk if you believe that this market has still a long way to go. |

Many of the telegram groups which give signals are run by the same people, I have noticed on multiple occasions of the groups giving the same signals. Many of the groups also conduct coordinated pump and dumps, and they usually send it in all the groups to gather a greater audience. Although some of the signals turn out to be correct, always do your own research before making a trade.
I did follow some telegram channels before but because I observe that many of them are giving the same signals at the same time and then when I check the charts there is already a pre-pumped then I decided to leave those groups and then stayed in some telegram groups that are giving explanation to what is happening in the market and a chart as well to support those claims. It is just a matter of choosing the best telegram group to follow. I do my own research and charting anyway before buying a coin but at least I have a guide what coins to look into at the moment. |

A cryptocurrency exchange hacked does not necessary impact the prices on the market until the exchange is big with huge volume.
There are many cryptocurrency exchange hack in the past and some are even small exchanges but it has affected the price greatly. Bithumb being a large volume exchange, it is expected too that it will affect the bitcoin price big time but the market is not moving that much since it is still sideways so maybe it is a good sign. We maybe at the bottom already and bears are already exhausted so it is a good time to buy more but do not be too confident and still have a stop loss to manage your risk. |
