404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MasterCoin: New Protocol Layer Starting From “The Exodus Address” on: January 13, 2014, 03:37:33 PM
Thank you jeroenn13, maxmint.

Two more questions: I have 3 addresses in my qt wallet, each one of these having different amount of MSC.

1 ) If I choose to send from the first address, how is the advisor informed for the sending address (I guess it doesn't need to know which is the sending address, just the receiving..) and how do I choose the specific address?

2 ) Can you clarify to me what the first step in advisor mean ("send all funds in your wallet to the address which owns the mastercoins (the following sends must come from that address)")?

Thank you in advance  Smiley Smiley

The wallet you currently have (Bitcoin - QT) can have more addresses which have different amounts of BTC. If you want to send from 1 specific MSC address you have to send your total balance to the address you which to send from, so Bitcoin Qt will be forced to send from that specific address because it holds all the BTC.

Excellent. So I'll send all BTC to one of the specific addresses that hold the MSC that I want to send.

Hope I understood correctly. Thank you sincerelly, jeroenn13.  Cool

Yes thats how you send MSC from a specific address in your wallet.

I hope to sell 3-6% of my total MSC holdings (5000-10000 MSC).

How is the selling going, JR?

Seems like it wasn't the best idea to do it this early  Cheesy

Or he already sold it.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MasterCoin: New Protocol Layer Starting From “The Exodus Address” on: January 12, 2014, 02:06:28 PM
Hello,

Can someone tell me what are the currently working / partially working features of MasterCoin ?

Especially theses :
Additional security features to make your money much harder to steal
Built-in support for a distributed currency exchange
Built-in support for distributed betting (no need to trust a website to coordinate bets)
Built-in support for "smart property" which can be used to create and transfer property such as titles, deeds, or stock in a company
Capability to hold a stable user-defined value, such as an ounce of gold or U.S. Dollar, with no need to trust a person promising to back up that value

If not, when is going to be implemented ? Any time-schedule ?

Any comment or explanation welcome.

Thanks

Currently only a mastercoind and a distributed exchange is under development. The other features are not under development yet as far as I know.

Smart property will take a few months after the launch of the Distributed exchange.

At this moment I'll just wait and see what happens with the first 100 MSC and consider any price change after that.
Thanks again for you feedback

Just wondering if you have any relationship with buymastercoin?

No, there is no relationship with Buymastercoin.

412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MasterCoin Buyer/Seller Thread on: January 10, 2014, 11:01:44 PM

it makes it easier to buy above market price MSC (at list its "only" 50% higher).
i hope new comers will not use your site or buymastercoin.
due diligence will lead them to https://masterxchange.com/faq.php and http://mcoin.io/#/

lol another garbage website like buybitcoin trying to trick noobs into buying at a higher price. they are better off buying from JR than your site, at least it will help JR sell his coins.

We are trying to make the purchase of Mastercoins easier and quicker. If you want to use our services feel free to do so, if you don't want to then don't.
Thank you.

That's cool 'n all but why not lower your profit margin a little so that people who buy won't feel ripped off. Do you really have to have a 50% margin? Can't you lower that to 10%? Try a 10% markup and you might get a pretty decent businesses going that buyers won't trashtalk on forums and damage your credibility and you'd actually bring something to the table instead of pissing people off.

Alright, I think you might be right with the margin. I'm willing to sell the first 100 MSC for 0.199
If they're sold very quick I will raise the price to 0.249 again.

Thanks for the feedback.

- Jeroenn13

If they sell quickly you might wanna keep price low because you can make more money with higher sales volume than with few high margin sales. Ripped off customers won't return to buy the 2nd time and all the community will advise against using your website. Think about it. Do you want one time customers or customers that return and potentially bring you other customers by "word of mouth".

At this moment I'll just wait and see what happens with the first 100 MSC and consider any price change after that.
Thanks again for you feedback

There is no quicker and easier, or cheaper than http://masterxchange.com right now.

every single person who buys from your website is going to be upset when they see its half the price on masterxchange.

We offer the exact same service as buymastercoin.com but with a lower price, if you compare that we offer a 68% discount.

416  Local / Alt Coins (Nederlands) / Nieuwe Bitcoin/Mastercoin exchange (BTC-MSC) - koopmastercoin.nl on: January 10, 2014, 09:50:08 PM
Aankondiging

Announcement

I want to announce two new Bitcoin to Mastercoin exchanges.
I created the Dutch www.koopmastercoin.nl and the world wide www.mastercoindirect.com.
The reason I made these websites is the low volume of Mastercoin trades at this moment and to make it easier and faster to buy Mastercoins.
Both websites use a simple 'send and receive' payment system, so quick and anonymous trades without the requirement to create an account.

Please feel free to give me any comments or ask me any question.

419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Mastercoin]Group buy Mastercoin/MSC from J.R. on: January 08, 2014, 04:06:18 PM
Please stop the "Scammer" accusations if not proven.
If anyone is interested to join this group buy just post here, ofcourse there will be a trusted middleman.
If you are lucky you can get MSC under the market price when bought in bulk.

@ OP, get a trusted middleman who holds the BTC.

These panic selling are temporary.
If anyone took the time to understand the project he/she should know this is a great investment.
