401  Economy / Economics / Re: Wasn't that good to use bitcoin as your lifetime asset? on: August 08, 2017, 03:14:44 PM
Please help me make clear idea about how good bitcoin is to be a digital asset as we become old in the future, and this served as our lifetime asset same as pension when your retire from your current job at the age of 60.

Bitcoin have proven itself countless times with regards to its potential and value. It really is a good form of future investment and you should start immediately before the price gets higher. In a span of one week, its value soar to a staggering price which is hundreds of dollars difference from lastweek. What more if you plan on investing for 10 years or more. In my opinion, I don't think btc can wait before you turns 60 for you to see how good of an investment it is. You might quit your job even at the age of 40 assuming that you are in your 20s.
402  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: August 08, 2017, 02:49:00 PM
i had about $200 worth of bitcoin.
How can i earn more with that amount?
should I trading? or make an investment?
and please give me some trusted site to investing my wealth.

**i dont want to give a loan, or else.**

if you had some advice, feel free to tell me.
really apreciate it.
thank you.

It really depends with your interests. Why don't you first try both and then decide later on. I'm actually doing both investing and trading. I'd say put half in trading and half in investment. That way, you can earn in trading while you wait for your investment to grow.
403  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: August 07, 2017, 02:19:33 AM
I can see that people nowadays are busy searching on money and everything depends on money. People nowadays never go to church just because they would rather earn money rather than praise God. Others do not pay respect to elders  because they earn money for them or richer than them. Well for you, is money above all things ?

It's true that money is a necessity in our everyday life. But for me and my family, we always put God first even if it means we have to set aside our jobs. We grew up in a religious family and our parents raised us this way and they made sure that we know the value of our spiritual life. We go to church twice a week even if we're sick. For me, money comes after God and family.

Hi Edwardard, payment received. Thank you so much!
405  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hold until its $10,000 on: August 05, 2017, 10:27:26 AM
I am seeing a lot of posts asking for investments idea!

I do believe for 5 bitcoins holder or less, hold! It will reach $10,000.

Don't risk losing it! Lips sealed

Definitely gonna do this. I have less than 1btc right now but I'm really working hard to gain at least 1. Since I am just relying on campaigns to have my fair share of btc. And I don't have the resources to do mining. But it is fun to earn here in campaigns because not only I am earning but most importantly learning as well and I cannot wait to see that $10,000. I think by next year we can achieve that as long as investors will keep faith in btc.
406  Economy / Speculation / Re: About BCC (Bitcoin's Cancer Cell) on: August 05, 2017, 10:12:54 AM
So, the thing we've been trying to avoid for years has actually happened: a contentious hard fork.

What are the ramifications?

Bitcoin Cancer Cell is the single crypto sharing SHA-256 with Bitcoin. Thus, miners are free to transition between the two as is more profitable. If Bitcoin Cancer increases in price, the market will subtract hashrate from Bitcoin and add it to the Cancer.

The Cancer is not only a direct threat to Bitcoin, but ultimately to itself since it is built on faulty fundamentals: The big block vision is one where blocks become so huge that only a few datacenters will be able to operate nodes, leading to a centralization level akin to PayPal and credit cards.

The Cancer comes from within us. It uses the same forums, chats and subreddits.

It is here to destroy.

The only solution? Excision before it metastazises and it's too late: Miners of the majority fork must band together and kill off the minority fork.

Miners banding together to kill the minority fork, I think, aren't gonna happen. There's still so much to see about bcc and it is too early to predict its fate. Though I'm not a fan and I don't own any bcc and not yet planning to have as of this moment. But I think it is not that bad and we can't do anything if investors chose to invest in bcc. But one thing I am sure of, btc will be forever and all my faith goes with btc.
407  Economy / Speculation / Re: New all-time high on: August 05, 2017, 09:48:57 AM
Totally just sitting here with a big ass grin on my face  Grin

Its probably a bit steep to hold for long though.

Oh boy, oh boy! Big ass grin here too when I woke up and see those beautiful numbers! Can't even help myself and I actually sang "the tide is high, but I'm holding on" LOL Cheesy. And what's more exciting is the numbers just goes up and up. I really think we can see $5000-$6000 this year no doubt about that. I cannot contain my excitement right now. Saving my btc for the holiday season. Cheers!
408  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we see $50 ? on: August 05, 2017, 07:20:37 AM
We have seen it before so why not.
btc has no bottom when it comes to a debate

Nah, I don't think we will see that low of a value for btc especially right now. More and more people getting involved with btc and that price drop at $50 will be impossible. The lowest I can see will be around $2000. But heck, if I see $50 I'm gonna buy me a good stock of btc for sure. It's a pitty I wasn't able to buy when btc is at that price range. But it's never too late for everyone who want in.
409  Economy / Speculation / Re: To sell all?? on: August 05, 2017, 07:11:53 AM
Im losing alot money with this shitty war which decrease btc to 1900$ wtf why this happening. So i need to sell all and go away or i need to wait to 22july and maybe everything will back?

Now, I am curious if you ever sold all of your btc last month. Seeing that we're looking at $3000 compare to last month's $1900. It will be a total loss for you if you did. But if you didn't then I'm glad for you. I think you have a lot to learn about investing since you panicked way too early and planned to sell after seeing that you've lost some of your investments.
410  Economy / Speculation / Re: WOW!!! Bitcoin prices start to skyrocket again!!! on: August 05, 2017, 07:01:50 AM
Bitcoin prices have exceeded $3000.
Whether bitcoin prices will continue to skyrocket until reach $3500 - $4000? Shocked

Yes!!! And everybody's happy. Yesterday when I saw that btc peaked at $2800 I was thinking twice on selling some of my btc. I am glad that I didn't seeing that it reached the $3000 when I woke up. And now, I'm not planning on selling any portion until next year. All that I am earning from campaigns right now I am just letting it pile up. And yes, I think we can reach the $4000 before the end of this year. Let us all hope and keep holding on our btc.
411  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is now going high on: August 05, 2017, 06:01:45 AM
Bitcoin price is now going high..and it getting to be closer to 200k - 1 btc.... What do you think guys is it will be a trap or it is really going to a higher price?

Never thought of any trap. Besides, it is normal that btc price is getting higher everyday. We are witnessing the after effect of August 1st and everybody is happy. And I'm taking back what I said yesterday to my other posts that we will not reach the $4000 mark. Clearly, I have underestimated btc and I am glad that I kept my btc before and after the segwit.
412  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is the price of BTC still so high eventhough BCH is going up on: August 05, 2017, 04:53:42 AM
It does not make any sense ...
the coins are doubled and 300-600$ is added to the value
does not make sense imo

It actually makes sense. Bitcoin is in demand that is why its value is going up no matter how many altcoin will come out. It just prove how much faith people have in bitcoin. And bch price have nothing to do with btc's so it has no effect. And of course they have different investors and traders. Not all btc fan invest in bch (like me).
413  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin reach the $4000 mark this year ? on: August 04, 2017, 05:52:22 PM
Bitcoin price seems to be surging , investors seem to think that the price will surge to $4000 , In the US there seems to be negativity towards bitcoin on the securities and Exchange commission , what would create this surge ?

I'm not sure with the $4000 mark. It is the middle of the year and we are yet to hit the $3000 almost nearly. That $1000 surge in five months is quite uncertain though possible. It really is hard to say at this time but we will get there. Maybe not this year but who knows, maybe early next year. Let us hope so.
414  Economy / Economics / Re: Japan now #1 in volume on: August 04, 2017, 05:08:21 PM
Where are you seeing Japan as #1 in volume? Looking at http://data.bitcoinity.org I'm seeing these volumes for the past couple weeks:

Volume (in BTC)     Week 7/23  Week 7/16
USD/BTC  621k  982k
CNY/BTC  180k  255k
JPY/BTC  94k  168k

Looks like Japan's volume is still way behind both China and the US.

I guess Japan had its time on the first spot sometime in February. But we can really see the aggressivess among these countries and how competitive they are in every aspect of country rivalries that we see even in bitcoin world. Like I've said in other threads, whatever the US started, its rival countries will always try to cope up and compete.
415  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: August 04, 2017, 04:52:45 PM
Hello All,

What you think is the best investment to gain steady income in btc without actively doing anything?
So no trading/gambling/loaning etc.

Steady income more likely to be 'small & secure' than 'big & risky'.

Thanks,
BR Oinas

Ah, so you want a passive income. First thing that came to my my mind was bitcoin mining. I guess this is safer and less risky. But earning bitcoin without actively doing anything is really not gonna earn you big profits. It's like your lying on a back waiting for the cherry to fall in your mouth.
416  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: August 04, 2017, 03:44:10 PM

Today many countries accept bitcoin as a virtual currency, is it because bitcoin is so high that they think bitcoin can change the country's economy, or because the country has many bitcoin users already?

Bitcoin may be a powerful cryptocurrency but I don't think it can have a big impact in a country's economy. If you studied economics, you will know that human capital, infrastructure, and technology are some of the factors of economic growth. And I think that the reason why many countries accept btc is that it is a new source of income. And of course, they are also influenced by other countries and we know that US have a lot of influence so whatever the US have, other countries will try to cope up and compete.
417  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: August 04, 2017, 12:56:05 PM
It is said that bitcoin will destroy the fiat system but i believe that if this happens the world will change completly because banks and a lot of things will go out of market.

Fiat being destroyed by bitcoin? Says who? I don't think that will ever happen. If that is the case the government will be alarmed and most definitely will ban the use of btc in their countries. They will not allow anything that cannot be controlled by them. It will be chaotic and the poor people will most definitely suffer since it is hard to get your hands in btc if you do not have resources such as access to internet.
418  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to make money with bitcoin in 2017? on: August 04, 2017, 12:48:30 PM
What is the best way to make money with bitcoin in 2017?

I agree with most of the people here that signature campaigns and trading are the best way to make money with bitcoin. I suggest that you do signature campaigns and hold all your btc earnings then use them in trading afterwards for faster and good profit.
419  Economy / Economics / Re: Investments outside crypto on: August 03, 2017, 10:36:40 AM
What are good investments outside of crypto?

It is very unfortunate what is happening in venezuela. I wish the united states would forget about north korea for a second and make some attempt to re-establish stability in south america.

As things stand there is nothing I could do to help venezuelans.

Looking at venezuela's currency devaluation there could be opportunities for profit there. Shorting the bolivar. Buying bolivar when its nearer to making a recovery could both yield decent gains if someone could get the timing right.

What are good opportunities for investment outside of crypto? Is it moral to profit off of the unfortunate conditions of people in venezuela and other countries? What do ppl think about this?

In that state of venezuela, I can't think of any good investment other that bitcoin. I suggest that you just continue earning and trading in btc for the meantime. And I agree that you should not take advantage of the unfortunate state of other people and I salute you for thinking of it first. The thing is, you can help them instead. Why not teach them about bitcoin? You may not profit any cash from it but the satisfaction and happiness inside is priceless and they will thank you for it and when time comes that you need help they won't think twice. Like they always say, you reap what you sow.
420  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: August 03, 2017, 04:45:13 AM
It seems there are bad news all around with doom and gloom. Trade figures going down, jobs cuts, security situation not going well, and bad loans.

Is the economy situation in your country that dismal? Or this is just some fear mongering?

I think the economy here in our country is doing great. In fact it is considered as 10th fastest growing economy in the world for 2017 according to forbes. See this link https://www.forbes.com/sites/panosmourdoukoutas/2017/06/20/dutertes-philippines-is-the-10th-fastest-growing-economy-in-the-world/amp/.

Though the economy is doing well, we can't hide the fact that the poverty is present and the crime rate too. But still it is a growing country I just hope that all those corruptions will stop.
