401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO NOT TRUST TO TETHER on: July 05, 2020, 06:57:12 AM
I've heard contradicting allegations about tether. Some persons are saying that the project doesn't have sufficient back up in USD for the tether in circulation. I've also read that the audit carried out vindicated tether which proofs that the company is solvent and have the required back up.

MadeMen you are right, we all read contradicting allegations about Tether. I don't like stable coins, they are good only for traders
who have pairs with crypto-currencies. But it's not recommended holding it for too long, as we can see anything can happen if
authorities try to seize them for money laundering, and that can happen just like OP said.

You should also enclose that website in "[c o d e] [/ c o d e]' so that no one will accidentally click on the link.

And just by looking at it's domain name:

https://whois.domaintools.com/bitxplay.com
I agree with you, and [nobbc][/nobbc] tag is even more convenient to use for that.
But more importantly, OP should post some screenshots of the website to allow people to see how it looks like, because these kind of scams regularly change their domain names AFAIK.  Undecided

They change the name, but the scam stays the same. I agree with you on that Saint-loup, and OP should add that tag you
suggested, for more visibility.
I regularly receive scam PM's on Telegram and on Twitter. All kind of propositions, and all of them ask for some starting
investment and promise big returns. I don't know do they attract anyone with this kind of scams?
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies take my advice on: July 04, 2020, 02:39:22 PM
It is a pity that people generally come up with such a stupid idea as taking a loan for cryptocurrencies. How many classes of education do they have? 1-2? I understand when people who are already established and know the market do this - they fully understand what they are doing and know what to expect but when a newcomer comes to the crypto industry with credit money… This will cause  news of another suicide. This is very sad.
who does something stupid like that? it would be better to sell the real assets we have than to have to borrow from others. it's like killing yourself by losing people's money. no one gives certainty that they will benefit in the time they planned.

Bison, people who are doing this are people who are self-confident in their intentions. The same people learn from their mistakes,
after they make them. And we shouldn't bother about this, it's their thing what they do with their own life!
What is important for us it to learn from other peoples mistakes, and if we made a mistake to not hurt us too much. It's what we
learn and what we need to teach our children and close people we know.
404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "Poker Tournaments" are reopening little by little. on: July 04, 2020, 01:07:41 PM
So this means that physical casino wants to open and generate revenue so that they can give taxes to the government. How can government ask for the taxes when they themselves asked the casino business to be shutdown in the pandemic. The government should generate taxes from some other sources and do not ask those business to give taxes which are currently closed.
No, you are missing the point. Don't focus on taxes alone, there are so many reasons why they will reopen. Physical Casino is also a business, they have many employees to provide salary and continue paying other expenses even in lockdown. They have no other choice but to open because if they don't, it will turn into bankruptcy.

I agree with you Angrybirdy, it's not just taxes and salaries, bills have to be paid, there's electricity, maintenance. They can't
pay for anything if they don't work.
JohnBitCo government could save all businesses if they wanted to. Big corporations would suffer, but they have money they
accumulated over the years. But we have a case where we are paying for everything and some corporations are getting richer
every day!
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance deserves the first Position on CMC on: July 04, 2020, 11:01:59 AM
It's good when that 1 place in the hands of the ones who deserve it! Binance is the best exchange at the moment, but I think
other exchanges will try to claim that first place for them. Which is a normal thing, it's a healthy competition and that have
positive effects on the entire crypto-market.
If Binance keeps doing the great things like until now, it will be hard for other exchanges to keep up, but some of them will try
to get closer!
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Some Alts for long run investment. on: July 04, 2020, 10:00:15 AM
Are you able to hold your coin for years or do you just want to hold for less than one year?
No matter how long you hold a coin, we still have to choose a coin that is really good. Do not just choose shitcoin which will bring us to a loss.
Choose coins that already have big names!

Khiholangkang you are the one who needs to find projects that are good now, but have a chance to become great one day! I am
fort choosing well-established coins, but I say pay attention on some undervalued projects with great potential.
I have more than 10 coins under a dollar, nothing big, but I have them and when I can I add more. Little by little I invest in
projects I believe in long-term, not for next month or year, I plan to hold minimum 5 years!
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest to this project ? on: July 04, 2020, 08:36:23 AM
Hi , I have never invested for a project , i need to invest for a project and i have an idea to invest on this project - https://curioinvest.com/car/4
But i need your opinions about this project ? Is it a Scam project ?
Will it be Profitable for me ?

Truth to be told I have never heard of that project till now. My only suggestion to you would be to do your own research before investing in any project that will help you a lot in the long run.

Alicea this is a new project for me too, I never heard about it before. I checked their page and I got a message pop out saying
become smarter in just 5 minutes. With pictures of super cars and tokenizing that industry. I don't think this is for me, I don't
wish to be smarter in 5 minutes, and I don't have a taste for super cars, I need a family minivan.
I will pass this, this is not for me and I will not research it further, I seen enough in first couple of minutes there to make a decision.
408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: July 04, 2020, 07:04:21 AM
I am not really sure if the local government of Las Vegas is totally oblivious to the situation that is happening all over the world. If they are aware of the consequences of really opening up to the public for the sake of reviving the economy. Sure the city will avoid any economic slump it tries to avoid but at the cost of many people getting sick. The end result is simply with too many sick people, tourists will find other casino towns or cities in the west coast and will avoid Las Vegas altogether, making its economic misery worse.
I guess, they have no other choice. Instead of suffering for both of their increasing numbers of infected patients and the declining of the economy, they prefer to focus on recovering their economy. This might look crazy for most of us, but it is for the best of their city.

Kayvie I will take the same guess, they have no other choice left. It's not like they have plant something in that desert and grow
food, they can only try to make some money and to have for food. I agree with you, it can look crazy, but they can only choose
between working with risk, or not working and not having food to eat!
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins unite! on: July 03, 2020, 08:39:57 PM
I realized today that even thought many Altcoins are total shitcoins, all of them have an ambitious dev team behind them that must understand the blockchain business to some extent. Therefore I call on to all the devs of impotent shitcoins to unite for a quest of more utility for their cryptos and stop being shitcoins! Upgrade your blockchains! Switch to a more exciting algorithm. Slice max supply. Add real utility like storage or bandwidth or both! You can do it! Contact me if you want to know more.

I think many altcoins have been successful. They are coins that develop their own platform systems, not dependence on other platforms.
But now shitcoins occur on tokens that only rely on third-party smartcontracts. What needs to be developed by those who use smart contracts. There is no. They just make a website, then sell tokens.

He talks about developers to unite, not alt-coins. There can be some truth in this, if developers join together, the ones
from failed projects, they can come up with some great idea, with their experience they can make something good I guess.
But that will not happen, scammers will try to scam, new people will try to earn, and for really successful project there
needs a good team, that is honest and have skills!
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy these altcoins!!! on: July 03, 2020, 07:41:09 PM
Can you explain to me why we should buy these coins? I strongly believe in the top 10 coins as they have proven to be solid and trustworthy.

We have our own perspective on why we choose a coin that is not included in top 10.

I also holding some coins that is not popular but I believe has potential for future growth so still holding it.

Well if you're newbie in crypto dont forget to invest in well-established coins like bitcoin.

Lenfaye I agree with every word! Top 10 coins are good, but there are others that have potential to get in top 10 one day!
We need to decide to believe in some new project or not. Like you said, never forget to buy well-established coins like Bitcoin
and Ethereum are, but why not to spend some money on projects that are very promising? I try to keep my portfolio balanced,
and to have 10% of my portfolio in some undervalued projects that have great potential!
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin market speculation ?? on: July 03, 2020, 06:16:34 PM
precisely it the price of market can't prediction because we don't know what the next price and when it can rise again. no one can predict market prices in crypto and in the near future or a long time everything can change maybe in 6 hours will go down or up. sometimes many people predict but it doesn't happen according to what they say. this it is clear that market prices cannot be predicted.
If you were saying like that and there will be no a speculators or even traders in the market as they didn't know where the market is going on but this is a speculation market that everyone is feeling free to express what will be their prediction for the future of crypto currency

Bitkanu I think you misunderstood Mandors words. He just saying that
crypto-market is volatile and that its impossible to predict next direction
for many people.
I agree with you Bitkanu, traders make profit, but in same time they risk
a lot. Trading is not for me I invest in long-term and I have faith in future
of crypto-currencies. Maybe daily fluctuations disturb some people, but not
me, crypto-market is growing every year and that will not stop any time soon.
412  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will governments do next to manipulate Bitcoin? on: July 03, 2020, 04:30:11 AM
^ Definitely right, the decentralized asset of bitcoin it is impossible to the government manipulated bitcoin. But there are countries that classified as a bitcoin is fully restricted to their country but do you think this manipulation will not able to people accessing bitcoin? They can use a VPN if they want, even Trump nothing has to do in using bitcoin in the US. He wants to manipulate bitcoin and put it a tax. Nevertheless, I like the idea of other countries that trying to establish a legal framework for cryptocurrencies even though they know that this probably threaten when it comes as an investment asset.

DoublerHunter some countries are financially strong and with a lot of money they can try to manipulate with crypto-market.
I don't know about manipulations from technical side, but if county is equipped and have good infrastructure with strong
computers maybe they can try to make some problems. I believe some countries tried this already, but if we are still alive and
decentralized probably they couldn't do much, and crypto-currencies are getting stronger, I believe it will be harder for them
to manipulate with crypto-markets in the future, or even impossible.

413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1% in 24 Hours on: July 02, 2020, 07:19:25 PM
I think it's a shame that people don't see a good opportunity just because of a few negative trust marks without even trying the platform for themselves.

Where are the posts from people that say "Tried the out and it doesn't work. SCAM!"  NONE.

How to try it when you promise 1% daily, it's 30% every month! It's unbelivable in my experience, and I would not dare to
try it! This will try just some greedy, uneducated person, who will think that 30% every month is possible!
Sorry about hard words, but this is truth. There are safer investments, and many of us are satisfied with safe and small
than to rush and lose what we have because of the greediness.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers, the biggest crypto problem on: July 02, 2020, 04:00:27 PM
Indeed the presence of scammers pushes away possible crypto supporters. I think that is why many governments are considering regulation to protect people from scammers. But I also think that crypto users should be more vigilant in their activities so they will fall victim to scams.
Until now, scammers are indeed very difficult to stop. it's just that, we have enough experience in choosing projects that look really scam nowadays because of the many oddities found in a whitepaper from a team. it's just that, we are still difficult to identify a scam project when the sale has been completed. until now, the problem still persists.

I agree with you until some point, but scammers are not new. They existed before crypto-currencies and they will probably
exist as long as world lasts. They are simply people who learned to live that life, to not work and be honest, to earn money
fast and probably to spend that money even faster.
Like many people said before, only with education of individuals we can see less scammers. When people know things they
are careful and they don't get trapped easily.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: July 02, 2020, 11:54:29 AM
All three reasons are valid because the fact that they still get scammed with obviously a lot signs that it is a scam is a problem if you are blinded by greed. Greed is always present whenever you want something for yourself but some people need to be mindful that if we are not careful, we can lose more than what we are suppose to gain. We will lose our trust in ourselves and trust in other possible good projects that are yet to come. So being knowledgeable about some projects are never useless because it is for our own benefit.

I think the main problem is a bad research or no research at all. People can be greedy, but with good research they can
find a project that fits their goals, but people who just join new project without thinking are the ones who are being scammed
most easily.
We all make mistakes, but its stupid to make the same mistakes all the time.
416  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy supposed to be a political tools? on: July 02, 2020, 10:27:40 AM
Your words are true, the continuous printing of money impedes the economy and may cause inflation and the collapse of the economy if there is no real value for this money such as gold or commodities or others, but I do not think that the government issuing bills has anything to do with the matter.
usually the central bank of any country is the one that issues These recommendations are implemented by the government, of course when politicians intervene in the economy a lot of problems occur because such serious decisions may be taken for a political reason rather than an economic reason and this will lead to serious consequences for the economy.

Economy should be a tool Yhiaali3, but the tool in wrong hands is a disaster. Many of us complain on governments and how
they operate, but we can't do a lot about that. It's why I prefer crypto-currences over traditional currencies, decentralization
is what we need, the power should be in the hands of all the people, not just some people.
Now everything is just a political tool in hands of the party that wins election. In my country it's like that, and I believe in
many others as well.
417  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FOMO In Crypto; How to identify It on: July 02, 2020, 07:27:51 AM
FOMO is when you see promises about the rise of some coin! Big words from all side about the project and project capabilities
in the future. There's nothing except promises about what can happen in the future, and we see that here on forum how newbies
create threads, everywhere on Twitter and Facebook. Many people talk about it, but without evidences, those words are not backed
up! It's FOMO, and if you buy it will be probably on top, while the ones who created FOMO are selling in that time.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Short suggestion and situation on: July 01, 2020, 07:46:47 PM
Increasing rank on bitcointalk and joining in bounties or signature campaigns cannot be considered as job because the rewards are so little and not permanent but if you are having some skills to provide some kind of service then it will be one of your permanent asset.

Rewards are little for some people, who live in countries where you can earn even with simple jobs. But countries where
minimal wager for month is under 100$, here you can earn twice as much with good rank and good signature campaign.
But to have better rank and to be accepted in good campaign you need a lot of work to get those merits. You need to be
outstanding in something, and if you have skills, you can be highly rewarded for that.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Short selling altcoins on: July 01, 2020, 04:14:40 PM
You can sell any alt-coin on exchange if it's listed, if alt-coin is not listed on any exchange you will have to be listed. That waiting
is not advisible, some alt-coins never get listed because they are bad and not any exchange want's them.
If you are not sure are they listed or not, first try CoinGecko or CoinMarketCap, if you find your alt-coins there you can click on
them and check are they listed anywhere and their trading volume. If trading volume is 0, there's no demand for that alt-coin
you will not be able to sell it even if it's listed.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins for 2020? on: July 01, 2020, 09:23:03 AM
BNB is very surprising, I prefer coins that grow quickly. bnb has a large community with the largest trade today. Binance is a new reference in the crypto trade.
but don't trust the exchange too much, nor does the bnb, maybe one day you will lose your funds.

Every coin have some risks Asyakashi! Binance have a great exchange, but they have DEX as well. Now BNB is not just
an exchange token, it's a platform for new apps. And like other platforms they will try to have many apps, with their marketing
and possibilities I believe they will attract many developers. I think we can believe in BNB in long-term, I do and I invested
already. Probably I will add more money over time in BNB.
