How to understand this in NRS 0.8.12 unconfirmed transactions?

So what will happen if DGEX user can't deposit any more BTC from address or addresses used with previous deposits?
Account verification is then carried out in some other way on case by case basis.
I have the same problem and reply to your email address already. Can you take a look of that?

this thread is dead. Take a look at their forum: nextcoin.org
4006  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Selling BTC at Ebay on: March 31, 2014, 11:43:29 PM
I tried selling dogecoin on ebay. The listing was up for about a week. I never made any sales, and ebay eventually deleted my listing, saying it was miscategorized (I gues I didn't put it in the "virtual" category). I saw other dogecoin sellers claim that they were selling a "penny" and that the dogecoins came along with the penny. These sellers were actually shipping a real penny to the buyers. I guess it worked for them, but seems silly.

That penny trick is just so that you can prove that you send something. In the end you are at paypal/ebays final decision, and in the past they are not very crypto friendly. Also 8-10% fees is just ridiculous for digital currency, but that is another story...

Well sell them a starter set comes with a CD guide and all the things you need to know about the currency
Then you can probably set a 2000-3000% premium on it

I am sure there are ways that work with a higher probability than just sending coins, but I don't get why anyone would wanna do that. Just use an exchange or localbtc
4007  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: MTGOX <-> BTC BID/ASK on: March 31, 2014, 11:41:22 PM
lmao, another 3+ year case to show that MK is personally liable and should pay out of pocket to creditors.

that won't happen i fear. It is very rare that owners are liable for a bankruptcy. it is sad!
This is true generally speaking, but I guess it very well may depend on proper case argumentation by lawyers representing debtors. At no point should they agree, to ANY extend, about tech team and MK in particular not being liable for losses. As known to most "practicing in the field", such losses WERE preventable, with very minimum security precautions, which apparently haven't been taken, yet advised.

At no point where I doubting that. But it is very hard to convince a judge/jury of that. Breaking the limited liability is very rare in most states.
As someone with money "stuck" on mtgox, i hope that sucker pays every single cent he owns!!!!

I have to agree that if you showed the pixels also on the free money page, than you would have much more traffic for the ads. Which would raise the intrest in buying them.

Or am i wrong in that assumption?

This is genious. Why do people think that real "Pump and dump"ers would charge money? They profit from an increased number of followers. He would be clever if he just gave his predictions for free after buying.

But actually paying for that. Roflcopter!

Hm, some "elite" ones will I guess. As too many people join them, more people will dump their coins before a pump is over.

Too sad these pumps are actually happening in the e-currency world. I know them from a well known game called Runescape. You had those pump-"clans" over there too and some people made serious money with it.

Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about it. Or teammembers should (anonomously) announce which coins are actually getting pumped, but not many will as they won't earn much money than anymore.

These pumps will happen as long as it is allowed to do that. And if I am not completely wrong, than this won't be ever the case.

Crypto/Fiat might get regulated though.

hope he gets sued ...

He is swedish not american.. Here we solve issues like this with a good old fashioned lead pipe.

Look that brat kid is from a wealthy "fine family" his father have double last names while his mother kept her maiden name only, these are nose up in the air people.
Best advice is to make phonecalls, alot of them - call him, his parents, call his parents at work, call his relatives.
Keep pressure up until his parents force him to repay your bitcoin, he lives in their house, make his situation impossible.

If his family situation is indeed like that, then this will work 99% of the time.

can i send btc from multibit wallet?

after i send btc, when and how i can get the chance coin?

thank you very much!

You can indeed burn BTC into CHA using Multibit. BUT you must be careful that you are sending BTC from a single address (otherwise Chancecoin won't know which address to send CHA to). The best thing to do is send BTC to the burn address using a wallet that only has a single address. To check that you only have a single address, click on "Request" and verify that under "Your receiving addresses," you only have one address listed. If you have more than one, you should create a new wallet (File -> New Wallet), send some BTC to the new wallet, and then send BTC from the new wallet to 1ChancecoinXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXZELUFD. Hope that helps. Alternatively, you can always send BTC to a Blockchain.info wallet and follow the instructions I just posted for burning from Blockchain.info.

After you send BTC, you can see your Chancecoin using the Chancecoin wallet software. You can either install this from source, or run a pre-compiled binary. We currently have a pre-compiled binary available for OS X Mavericks, and we will have a Windows binary out soon. The wallet software has a function you can use to check the balance associated with your address.
But I used the multibit to send btc, then, I can't open the chancecoin wallet software .
It said that  Please make sure you have bitcoind or Bitcoin-QT running and that your config file is set correctly at C......
I have not install the bitcoind, I install the multibit. Does it mean that I can't use the chancecoin wallet software because I don't install the bitcoin-qt?

yes you can not.

So, a web client like the counterwallet website for XCP is very important for this Chancecoin to be accepted and be played by more people.

yes, i have to agree!

How can you ensure that no one can buy more coins for the total amount of 1,5 BTC?

He can't and he even said, that newby accounts are welcome to invest.
4018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: March 31, 2014, 06:15:10 PM

In short Monetary System will allow to create currencies backed by NXT. New coins r created by "burning" NXTs. Actually these NXTs r not burned but locked. Anytime u can destroy created coins and get the NXTs back.
Shocked

Horry fug. That is huge! All the upside without the downside Wink

You can burn Nxt by sending them back to the genesis account.

yes but where is the value of that?
With CFBs proposition, you can really back a currency. In the way that if someone decides that the currency is now at a lower value than the amount of NXT behind it, he can just "trade" it against the backed NXT

Depending on the mechanics of this feature, this might be good for implementing Zerocoin mint/spend transactions.  Wait and see.

you missunderstood me. I also think that feature is really cool! I just said that buring NXT in the genesis block is a far inferior feature Wink

You probably make around 100BTC/month net from your fees so may not "need" to run away and create more troubles to yourself..

Where did you get 100BTC/month from?  Which fees?  From what I understand, Dooglus makes money from commision the bank (the people invested) makes.  If the website makes a profit over a week, Dooglus gets 10% commission on net investment profits if and when investments are divested.  If the website doesn't make a profit and people divest, he makes nothing (which has happened a lot).

Am I understanding this incorrectly?

He was taking about expected profit.

For 100.000 BTC wagered he receives an expected 100 BTC.
There are 5000000BTC wagered and the site is opend since June or so, thus leading to more than 100.000BTC wagered per month...

5,000,000 wagered

Profit is written at 15,000BTC so 10% of that is 1500BTC-costs, by the way the website has been that unlucky?? Only getting 0.15% of the total wagered?

It is 0.3%...

Also 1500 BTC is the absolute minimum. He earned much more, because people were daytrading nakowa like crazy. Doge-dice also rakes in some money.

Oops,
Spoke too soon, lol

Bitcoincharts ranks exchanges by 30-day volume, not 24-hour. Bitfinex will get to the top soon enough. Smiley

Remember,
"BIGGER is not ALWAYS Better !"
Gox PROVED That.

But bitfinex doesn't try to be the biggest, they try to be the best. And they succeed at it.
