4001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: May 17, 2019, 04:50:17 PM
Almost a win for Portland. It's just that....

-They didn't maintain it's lead (especially the 17 points big lead) while clock is ticking down. I like how they battle for exchange shots but after the 3 minute period mark, what happen? And then Warriors now take the lead on a 1 minute mark.

-Lots of wasted possession attempts. Seth Curry almost on fire, why not giving him the play during the last few minutes.

-Poor defense in the paint area, Myers got confused. Lots of uncontested shot made by the Warriors on the paint area during the last few minutes.

"THEY CHOKED" lol.

In my opinion, Portland missed another big chance of winning the series. I am curious to see what would be the result when Kevin Durant is going to play in the games. Now that he doesn't play Stephen Curry takes a lot of changes for 3-points and he scores a lot which causes a huge problem to the Blazers. Maybe if KD joins the series the game will be more customized to Portland's gameplay.
4002  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Message to all Brits who voted for sovergnity, you are damn idiots on: May 17, 2019, 04:45:17 PM
you will lose more sovergnity and democracy then ever before althoug you voted to leave for sovereignity and for democracy

the more you are dropping our the more you will realise what a worthless junk democracy is if your currency is worth nothing,

you are so damn overdue to get that.

have fun learning

In another post you were against of the European Union. You didn't want the Mediterranean countries in the union and if I am not mistaken I think you were advising them to leave.
Now what is the point of making such comment about the British people? It is their right to vote for whatever they want. Money doesn't matter in many things.
4003  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Blockchain vs Trump on: May 17, 2019, 04:34:13 PM
It has been stated before that the blockchain technology is useful for politics.
I would agree that we can make not only political parties but also politicians more transparent and thus decrease the corruption that exist in our politics' decisions. And not only with regards to Trump but for all politicians around the world.
4004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your game and why? on: May 17, 2019, 04:28:00 PM
I only play sports betting and nothing more. I bet mostly on Basketball and sometimes in Boxing.

I don't want to spend many time and money on gambling because I can't control myself when I spend many time gambling. Different gamblers here play on different games like poker, roulette etc. I don't play into any of them Cheesy. I just want to bet on Basketball games Cheesy.

I used to play dice a lot by now i don't have time to do so.
Now I find pleasure in sports betting (not live) because I gamble when I am relaxed on my couch and watch the game. Especially if you like the sport that you have gambled at it is the best way to spend your spare time by far.
4005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 17, 2019, 04:17:59 PM
There are rumors that Mauricio Sarri is already sacked and Chelsea just waits the Europa League final to be finished and announce it.
After the transfer ban that has been posed from FIFA he doesn't want to continue on Chelsea because they he will not be able to ask for new signings. Bad news fors the club. Maybe a former player like Frank Lampard may sign as new coach.
4006  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are bitcoin whales complete morons? on: May 17, 2019, 04:09:03 PM
Hi

I saw todays dip and then read that a whale von Bitstamp sold about 3600 coins at once and tanked the price down to 6200 for a short period of time. Now it stabilized at around 7200 USD.

Why do these people do this? Are they just morons?

If they would sell their coins within a period of 3-4 days they could probably get close to 8000 USD for every single BTC ...

They are not morons.
Actually, they know exactly what they do. When they sell they drop the price and maybe they buy again instantly. The market is strongly manipulated by them and they have made many profits from these strategies.
4007  Economy / Speculation / Re: Taking profits but don't be afraid! on: May 17, 2019, 04:04:50 PM
I wake up this morning and when I tried to refresh my wallet, I findout that bitcoin has lose over $700 from it high of yesterday! Immediately,  "this thought come into my mind, don't be afraid,  it is taking profits time", new confident come into my mind and I developed another hope that bitcoin is far strong now,  better and menture now than in 2017. I will like to encourage us to keep holding and buying more at this time as bitcoin is on the way to the moon! Though, "this is not a recommendations for you to make investments decision"!

I woke up today and I had the same thoughts.
Yesterday, I was thinking if I had to withdraw and cash out some profits or all of them and come back to the market later. I didn't do so and now I think that If I had to I would have made some good profit for this month.
4008  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rises very fast! on: May 17, 2019, 03:51:12 PM
It was very obvious that the price will not rise so easily.
Due to the fact that it was increasing without any news about development or growth of the market, it was normal to see it falling like this. At least we can see that there is a pace in the market.
4009  Economy / Speculation / Re: What price will never be seen again? on: May 16, 2019, 07:15:29 PM
When people discuss Bitcoin's price, sometimes they tell that some price will never be seen again, because the market will be so bullish in the future, that even new bottoms will be higher than that price. The only way it won't hold true is if Bitcoin will be truly dying, but there's absolutely no reason to think that it will happen as of now.

So, let's predict what price will never be seen again! I think we won't see anything lower than $5,700 ever again, and the next few weeks is the last opportunity for bearish movements that can bring Bitcoin to below $6,000.

Personally I believe that it is very hard to reach 20.000 again.
There was a lot of FOMO when this price was reached in early 2018 that doesn't exist now. 20k will only be reach again if we bring mass adoption of cryptocurrencies to real life cases.
4010  Economy / Speculation / Re: How are bitcoin and alt price charts connected? on: May 16, 2019, 06:59:26 PM
Bitcoin price and altcoin price is strongly connected as you can see every pairing in exchange of altcoins is with Bitcoin.
So when bitcoin price fluctuates it can impact directly altcoins. I hope it helps, I tried to give an explanation with simple words.
4011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA...WHAT HAPPENS NOW ⚽⚽ on: May 16, 2019, 06:39:08 PM
So I was doing some thinking of who qualifies to next year's most prized soccer competition putting into account that both the champions league and Europa league finals have an all English teams final. All this has led to some unanswered questions..

So my question(s) is: if Arsenal win the Europa cup...they automatically qualify to next year's champions league, so does this mean 5 teams could possibly make it to the champions league including the top four ?? If this gets to be the case does Manchester United get to play in the Europa league as arsenal will be playing in the champions league and they secured a Europa slot??

The English football totally deserves to have the most teams that play in the champions league.
Manchester United has already managed to get a place to the Europa League competition. I think that even if Arsenal wins the Europa League title, this doesn't affect Man Utd at all.
4012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How important are VIP ranks and rewards to you? on: May 16, 2019, 06:30:52 PM
Some Bitcoin gambling websites have these extensive multi-tier VIP rewards for their players.
How important is it for you that the website you play on has these?

Also, do you take these VIP rewards into account when you look at the website's house edge?
I mean, if the house edge is at like 1% for dice, but you also get some additional rewards when you wager certain amounts, then the overall house edge is actually a little bit lower, right?

I personally really like it when a website offers these additional rewards, combined with a system for ranking up.
Really adds a whole new element to your gambling experience.

What do you think?

I don't consider VIP rewards a lot if I want to decide in which online casino I want to play.
Most of those incentives are to make you play more in their casino and force you lose more money, thus giving them more profit. It is a strategy that helps the casino and not the gambler.
4013  Other / Politics & Society / Re: capitalism and democracy destined to split appart on: May 16, 2019, 06:24:35 PM

proof:

uk left european democracy

france wants to leave european democracy

bitcoin and crypto are controlled by private individuals, that run that cryptocurrency index.

democracy and capitalism are split.

Bitcoin is not capitalism and I wonder why you say that.
The ecosystem that Bitcoin creates is where everyone is equal and everything is accessible to all counterparts. I can't see how you connect those two factors, they are not correlated at all.
4014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of poker player are you? on: May 16, 2019, 06:17:10 PM
I have noticed that there two kinds of persons in poker gambling (when it refers to profits)

1._ The hit and run ones
2._ The ones who uses the money earned on previous bets to hunt for a bigger reward

What's your kind?

I believe that poker is also a game of luck (many gamblers think that it is about skill and knowledge but I don't think so) so I am a hit a run poker player.
The possibilities to win some money are more if you don't make a lot of bets thus this is the reason I do so.
4015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: May 16, 2019, 06:12:16 PM
The bucks vs toronto series is a long way to go. We can't say if the bucks will get it in 5 or 6. It's going to be a close game that I'm expecting no less than a game 7. But the bucks are heavily favored here. But I'm not going to be surprised if Toronto will manage to extend the game to 7 because of Kawhi Leonard.

Raptors is a fantastic team and I think that Bucks will have a difficult series to play.
Giannis is not enough to take the team to the NBA Finals and yesterday, Giannis didn't play very good as well as his teammates. Now they have to show that they are team. If they do so they are going to progress further.
4016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About to throw down $20K and need some advice on: May 16, 2019, 05:55:32 PM
Hello everyone, I'm brand new to this board but have been buying bitcoin (exclusively) off and on for 5 years. I'm ready to invest another $20K and was wondering what your thoughts were on my investment. As of now, I'm leaning towards the following
$10k Bitcoin
$5k Etherium
$2k XRP
$2k LTC
$1k Stellar

Thoughts?
Regardless, I look forward to engaging in talk with you all in future. Much love, Thomas

I think that it is not so smart to invest so much money in bitcoin due to the fact I don't see a huge potential for it to grow.
In my opinion, it is better to spread the bigger amount of money among altcoins such as Stellar, Ethereum and Litecoin.
4017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with altcoins on: May 15, 2019, 05:53:38 PM
Any gambling platform without altcoins like: Ethereum, Litecoin and Doge aren't interested to me, and not always playing around becasue altcoins give my play a better look than playing around all the time with Bitcoin. Many atime, i swap Bitcoin for some accepted altcoin before i gamble, loosing some altcoins never worried me like i lost Bitcoin.

I usually try to select platforms with altcoins as you do.
From my personal experience I think that they are not scamming online casinos and also they give me another opportunity to gamble safer as I don't risk my bitcoins. On the other hand, if altcoins are going to increase in value in the future then losses are more, but it is not so risky to gamble with them.
4018  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ww3 soon? China vs America? (I hope not) on: May 15, 2019, 05:47:41 PM
A war between China and The USA is not going to happen and I will explain you why.
Indeed, they have the strongest armies in the world, but China has its dog, Russia to bark and cause the trouble to the US. Thus, they are introduced as the silent power that wants the stability in the region and not as the power that can cause trouble.

John Mcafee running for president, would you vote for him?  Grin

Actually, this is an interview filmed at his home right? He really lives on this yacht!
It is an interesting interview that gives insights about his life and his knowledge but still I don't believe this guy. Anything he has said has turned wrong afterwards.
4020  Economy / Economics / Re: why bitcoin price fall down? on: May 15, 2019, 05:23:11 PM
maybe this is the plan of crypto investors to take a big profit they get Bitcoin when the price is big, well maybe this is also the cause of the decline in Bitcoin prices because there is a lot of Bitcoin supply and this is also used by some investors to buy Bitcoin when prices drop

It could be a point.
But it can happen because this is the nature of the market. It needs to go down in order to crease a strong support that it is going to help it go even higher.
As the supply of bitcoin is going to be slowing down, the price will be increasing. So this is another point that has to be considered.
