Well, congrat. Did you take into consideration electricity bills? No as I have also not added the fact I could sell each for $350-400. I wasn't there, so I don't know, but I am betting whoever told you that you wouldn't ROI probably didn't think you would pretend your electricity costs don't exist or pretend you could sell the device for twice what it is worth (even ebay has them for $200.00 now). TBH, the fact that you have to fudge the numbers to break even probably proves their point....Just sayin. .1 * 24 * 90 = $216, Cost for hydro over 3 months 4 * 200 = $800. Something about something with fudging numbers about something? Now onto fudging numbers you're not to bad. Goes one Ebay, finds the lowest price with a week before the end of bid acts like that's what it will sell for. Now Kijij when I see an item up, call them and they tell me it's sold I can assume it's selling at that price for around a week or two. |

Same as the Leah betts issue so many years ago this is just a parent avoiding the issue that their kid made a bad choice and it cost them their life! Sad as it is pointing fingers and claiming the government was responsible for her daughters purchase and use of illegal narcotics is like blaming the government if your kid decides to drive at 120 mph and hits a tree, makes no sense it's just a bad decision! $10,000 sounds like a crazy amount for a single unit of anything even when we all know perfectly well that there aren't very many of them.
There's only a few million coins. There are soon to be 12.6 billion Apple shares.

We are in the dispair phase. It will rise again but will take some time.
despair phase will likely be tomorrow when nothing happens post auction and yet another round of sell offs begin as investors grow anxious over holding during the weekend. I hate to say it, but I think this is the most likely scenario tomorrow. wat.... if those coins don't hit the market(nothing happens)... the price would probably jump.... I think the price is gonna jump as it seems all the bidders are HODLers. When you're expecting 30,000 BTC to hit the market and it doesn't..... PANIC PANIC BUY BUY BUY PANIC |

Same boat essentially. We knew that btc was fucked then (or at least I had no faith), so mining was a good option as opposed to buying/holding.
The question now is btc going to out scale our mining if we buy new ants?
I'm buying anyways cause mining is an addiction. Something about having noisy machines running all the time that calms me down lol.

Human intelligence has a limit, the smartest scientists in the world can barely understand quantum mechanics. In order for human intelligence to improve, you have to upgrade the hardware (brain). First they use supercomputers to figure things out, then they will start putting computers in our brains (cyborgs), the final step is completely becoming a computer. But what do the robots evolve into after that?
After I watched Avatar I was tripping about this idea hard. I think it is very possible and will happen. I have a hunch the purpose of life(not ours life in general) is to reach a point of immoratlity. |

And when the difficulty adjusts to 17.1 BILLION in 3 days, it will make 0.01471 BTC per day! At the current price of $568 per BTC, that is $ 8.35 a day, before power costs and before purchase price. ROI - NEVER!!!!!  Send your money to ME if you are so determined to piss it away on something!!!!!  At least I will invest and spend your money wisely, instead of letting it go to some ASIC company owner laying on the beach and laughing at all the people who bought an already obsolete miner.
