I think that basically there is not enough depth market for that huge amount of bitcoin But he could create an auction and he would probably sell them.
Just disgressing, nobody has 1million bitcoin, not even satoshi
people like to think he has 1 million bitcoin as that is super exciting. satoshi could have dumped his coins at much better price ranges. but then again, i don't believe he has as it would make him less anonymous.

someone make a fuckin bitcion auction site ffs
There is one: cryptothrift. I'm sure there'll be many more that spring up as well. FTC also has an eBay-like marketplace on their site. Cryptothrift is a good site, and I wonder why more people don't know about it by now. I will be shopping there again, ASAP. didn't hear of cryptothrift before. i will definitely have a look now as i am tired from ebay and their fees. people start to look at alternatives to avoid dealing with ebay.

currently bears have had a few great days. but i think we'll soon see bears change into bulls as there is no reason why bitcoin should go lower than $200. some times people are just lucky when their prediction becomes reality and they start to think they are an expert.

|
|
that's weird. if you accept bitcoin then there is no reason to exclude the purchase of certain things. it really doesn't make sense. did you ask them what the reason was for that?
|
|

i think yes. he knows that there was a need for something like bitcoin where we move around the traditional payment system and have a bank in our pocket. and look now. bitcoin is the reason for many people to start a business and the list of merchants accepting bitcoin is only growing.

i bought some coins yesterday because i don't think it will drop below $200 so from that view it's a good investment for me. and if it goes below $200 i will buy some more.

I think if we cleaned out most of the alt currency like doge coin included, litecoin and having just 1 coin.
It would probably increase the value, but the reason for alt coins is cause most people just decided to pump and dump it to make back into bitcoin so its more of a profit situation.
more and more people realize that altcoins don't serve any purpose. dogecoin and darkcoin seem to have real support from a lot people but the rest of altcoins are just flyby coins.

most people are getting used to these threads. they are all the same. op will probably create a new account once the price bounces back up.
|

don't fall for it. exchanges or people who are stating that they sell coins way below market value are mostly scammers. legit exchanges mostly only have $2 - $5 difference in price.
|
|
|
bottom or not, i bought today at around $220 which seems like a very good price if you ask me. can't see it going below $200 as buy support looks strong.

Yanis at work again.. with his very ambiguous style. He seems to like the idea behind it, but doesn't really take a solid position. Would he use it? Never replies that one. He probably owns some, secretly.
if he owns bitcoins then he might even be more willing to bring his idea's to work. at the end people mostly look for personal gains. don't think he is any different.

Yes, I do mean 1 btc=1 dollar. The workings of the banking system can (and will) drag Bitcoin into submission. Bitcoin is now an official currency and subject to control. Bitcoin falling off a cliff? As if they'll let you buy a thousand of their dollars or pounds for ONE Bitcoin.
bitcoin an official currency? since when? people still don't know what they should name bitcoin. a currency? gold 2.0? assets? people can't seem to agree.

what a waste of time. waiting years for only $100 doesn't exactly make sense. single digits will never happen guys. keep dreaming.

i hear people often say companies such as ebay, walmart, amazon will have a huge impact on bitcoin. i would think amazon by itself would already boost adoption.

this forum is full of threads like this. if you really think it's a ponzi then sell your coins quickly. then you don't have to worry anymore.

it will be interesting to see whether the $200 mark will hold this month. i don't think it will get dumped below $200 but with bitcoin you just never know.

i have tried several android wallets but i seriously have my doubts regarding the security of third party wallets. or maybe i am just too concerned. for me nothing can beat the blockchain app.

When there is volitility, people are worried about bubbles. When there is relative stability, people complainted about it being flat. The market can't please everyone. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I like stability more than volatility. i compare it to what we think of the weather. if it's raining people want sun, once there is sun people complain about the sun being too hot. people are never satisfied.

would be nice to see all merchants who sell digital products to accept bitcoin. i can't think of a reason why they shouldn't start accepting it directly.
|
|
|
you can't speak of a bubble with current price. you can't expect something to only go up. as with everything bitcoin will have a good period and a lesser period. the real bubble might come if wallstreet decide to jump in.
