4001  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL is keeping a portion of first batch chips for their own mining farm on: March 25, 2013, 01:32:29 AM
This is a blatant and outright conflict of interest.

In a professional organization, Josh would be instantly fired for doing something like this.

Given that BFL is run by a convicted felon, should it really surprise anyone that one of his underlings is operating with questionable ethics as well ?
4002  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like we are going to hit 1000 usd this year on: March 24, 2013, 08:51:54 PM
it looks like we will cross 1000 this year, a couple of years too soon in my opinion.. And im not complaining Cheesy

I would like whichever drugs you are on. Mine don't seem to be as good as yours.
4003  Economy / Speculation / Re: [LOL] Noobs define a crash as Up $60 then down $10...so fail on: March 23, 2013, 07:02:56 PM
Not that I'm complaining, but I'm surprised it rose to $75 as quickly as it did.

I'm kind of amazed it went beyond $50 at all at this point. Was shocked when it broke it's previous high of ~$32.

A retraction of $10 should not really be surprising to anyone.

TL;DR: LOL @ N00bZ.

*Checks to make sure mining rigs are still chugging along at ~7GH/s*

4005  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: [POLL] Should Butterfly Labs (BFL) get a Scammer tag? on: March 21, 2013, 06:36:43 PM
Tag as a scammer. Remove tag if/when they ship out their first batch and it's verified working.

These last two weeks have been an inexcusable Vaudevillian comedy of errors.
4006  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Luke Jr. @ BFL on: March 20, 2013, 10:52:08 PM
i wish they would put up a webcam in the building area so we can see progress.

I don't want to see what Luke gets up to in front of a computer.

I've seen it and it isn't pretty. Let's just say it involves bible verses.

I wonder if Luke-Jr is going to make a pilgrimage to the Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka before he heads back...

These still available ? I'm in Dallas. What is the cash price for both of 'em ?

4009  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Update - 3-1-13 on: March 01, 2013, 06:05:28 PM
What is curious to me (having two Single SC's on pre-order) is the size of these Avalon units. From all indications we have so far, the BFL Single SC will occupy a ~quarter of the cubic space of the Avalon miner at an equivalent hashing rate.

In theory, anyway.
4010  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Them BFL Cowboys on: February 27, 2013, 03:27:30 PM
ASIC's DO NOT EXIST YET. (at least before Avalon)  Creating a brand new thing that never existed before is a shit-ton of hard work.

False. Application Specific Integrated Circuits have been around since the early 80's.
4011  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New BFL update. 25 February 2013. on: February 27, 2013, 07:03:14 AM
Bullshit Fabrication continues.

"The ASIC team has promised me pictures of the wafer tomorrow, Tuesday the 26th. As soon as I get those, I will be posting them."

26th has come and gone with no update.
4012  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New BFL update. 25 February 2013. on: February 26, 2013, 08:32:19 PM
This is BFL we're talking about, so both Cheesy

I sort-of feel bad for Josh. I can understand being in his position; Someone at the mercy of forces beyond his control.

However, he is quickly becoming the spokesperson for "Bullshit Fabrication Laboratories" and is one bad bender away from pulling a full on Tom and imploding all over the forums.

Josh/Inaba, as your customer, I advise you to rent a very fast car with no top. And you'll need the cocaine. Tape recorder for special music. Acapulco shirts. Get the hell out of Kansas for at least 48 hours.

Let this shit with the bump fac resolve itself. Shit happens. But chill the fuck out man.
4013  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New BFL update. 25 February 2013. on: February 26, 2013, 04:55:58 AM
I guess this means two more weeks of Josh piss-warring with Micon in the Gambling sub.
4014  Economy / Gambling / Re: 80 BTC bet between Micon and mrb (are BFL ASICs real?) on: February 25, 2013, 10:59:34 PM
You know, it occurred to me that Bryan Micon doesn't even have enough confidence in his claim that BFL is a scam to put up a $9 USD domain name against any amount of BTC.  All he has to do is tell me what he'd sell the domain outright for in USD or BTC and we might have ourselves a bet.  Hell, I'd even let casascius be the arbitrator of when the bet would be satisfied one way or another.

Bryan Micon is unwilling to bet even $9 that is claim is true.  That pretty much says it all.

Respectfully, how about you get off these forums, stop with your piss war, and update the official BFL forums thread on what is going on with our orders.

You are making your company look like a bunch of insecure, bumbling and posturing buffoons.

Christ dude, be thankful you are working for a private company, because your ass would be fucking fired for how you are conducting yourself as a representative of your company were it a public entity.

This's good for you. I say sorry if I underestimated you. So you have a wide list of hunting games, strange thing is that why you are still pathetically mean & shallow. Are you having an unfillable thirst? Maybe you should cry for a blood river.

Have you ever really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

We should all listen to this man. He has an Anonymous Guy Fawkes Matrix-esque wallpaper.

Clearly, he knows what he is doing...

An update on what's going on at the bumping facility is way overdue.

I know right ?! I'm sure they have been slaving away for us all weekend...
4019  Economy / Service Discussion / Coinbase technical difficulties ? on: February 17, 2013, 06:42:44 PM
Have been reading grumblings on Reddit and other parts about the forums that Coinbase accounts are unexplainably missing coins, transfers have been pending for > 24 hours, and they don't have coins available for sale at the moment.

Anyone know what is going on over there ?

Edit: http://blog.coinbase.com/ reports problems 14 hours ago as of this edit, but problems persist it seems ? Something else going on ?

Slashdot is worthless now.

Hear hear ! Started becoming irrelevant around the time Digg and Reddit came onto the scene.
