There's no interesting update on this team yet, or rumors. In free agency, there's a lot of players that they could sign if they think of improving, Melo to be in the line up does not help big time at all IMO. What the Blazers need is a young players with real talent, good in defense, and has a high basketball IQ. . They already have the best backcourt duo, but sometimes one is inconsistent so it wouldn't work. I think they also need to build their chemistry as they already have the talents. Wilder's apparently taken a vow of silence. He has not been heard of in a long time. Fury and his promoters say they no longer have any obligation to have the trilogy fight and are now looking for a new opponent to prepare for him for facing Anthony Joshua next year. I don't think Wilder's team will put up a legal fight to try and force the rematch to happen next. Wilder is still a top 3 heavyweight so his chance will come up again.
I think the cancellation of the third fight would be on Wilder's advantage because he need to but some time to bring back the confidence in him as he was battered on their last fight. AFAIK, the rematch clause has expiration so i don't think the camp of Wilder will take a legal action here. Of course, they have the right to take legal action and the legendary Shelly Finkel kick against the action and he claims to have been in talks with Wilder about the fight as i read. Besides, he also claimed Wilder is ready to fight Fury any time and any place. Maybe Wilder has a reason for being silent. Wilder might be silent because there's no sense of talking when the contract was already sign, I mean the rematch clause was with the previous contract and therefore any fighter is obliged to fight if one of them wants a rematch, there's nothing to speculate more, Wilder is just trying to be professional here and might have probably focus more now on his training to be back in shape and to have a chance of beating Fury. Fury looking for another fighter to fight when their trilogy wasn't over yet, I think that's a big disrespect to the old champion. I hope this will create spark so both will be on fire when in the ring for the "TRILOGY FIGHT". Its not a way of disrespecting but rather a necessary move to be made if you do saw that the other party isn't really interested for trilogy. Then what can you do? I think they need to talk with Wilder's camp first before they will try to find another fight to sign with, that might create some problem as anytime the cam of Wilder can sue them for doing that, when there's a big money involved, it's better to be safe in all legal matters. Contract is legal, it should be carefully valued. Of course to move on and find for another opponent.It cant really just stop there if the said opponent doesn't want on what you like for it to happen.
Lots do prefer on that trilogy but still the management or the organization will always have the final verdict when it comes to decision making

Some "old" guys are planning to return to the NBA floor in the next season. For example, Joe Johnson still looks healthy, and I think he will able to play 1 or 2 seasons. Also, Jamal Crawford intends to return to break the ankles of rookies with his crossover skills.  Article about free agents. Both players are still playing well, hopefully they will be sign again especially Joe Johnson. Jamal Crawford signed with the nets for the bubble only, so he has no contract yet this upcoming season but this guy can still play and can contribute to the team as he is already a veteran which has some big games during his prime, is GSW can signed him, I would be glad to see him in the roster. |

Someone put a thread about this fight: Tyson Fury’s working out from trilogy fight against Deontay Wilder. Anyway, here is my take on it:
It's really hard to say, maybe the postponement has put a lot of stress on Wilder and as much as he wanted to focus, there could be other things in his mind that he can't do because everything is on the line. They are pose to make a lot of money in this trilogy, but if there are not final date and everything is still up in the air, then better cancel it and let this pandemic settles down a bit. Cancelling it might do better for Wilder, in my opinion. The trilogy though should happen eventually, 1-0 for Fury and Wilder needs to comeback and make it even and settle to score, nothing is better than boxing than a revenge win and prove yourself. They can't do nothing on the current situation, they wan't to make money and how is it possible without a crowd. These two are the biggest names in boxing, they can potentially make a lot of money in this trilogy but the timing was really wrong, the only thing they should do now is to continue to be fit for the fight as the moment vaccine is available, we will see a real schedule of this fight. |

Honestly, this fight was one of the best boxing match this year and I'm sure Lopez winning the fight will shocked all Loma fans and others that believed in Loma statement when he claimed to have the fight in bag, I'm sure you guys now understand what i mean when I said Lopez have chance to win this fight. It's normal to see predictions go wrong. Most of them will always make themselves better than the rest, it's an honor for them to say such words. Yes, but it was Harden himself making a prediction that his team will be a champion, but it didn't happen, so I think he should just shut up and do it in action in the court, Curry and Thompson never boost about their team but they are so successful playing together, what the Rockets need is more work less talk. Well maybe you are correct but it is better to read still because you will lose nothing by reading the TOS but you may lose everything if you did not follow their TOS.
and also there will be a chance that others will have different Terms Of Service so better be aware of that.
