4001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gives the poor an Opportunity. on: September 23, 2023, 01:55:44 PM
✂✂✂✂

My point is that Bitcoin might not actually give the poor an opportunity, at least in this discussion's context.

There are many people who are very poor, not even able to eat 3 meals a day like you said, and investing with them is almost impossible. But in the future, if they can save a small amount of money and wish to change their lives by investing. It can be said that bitcoin is their choice, bitcoin gives them an opportunity because they can invest with their little capital. Unlike other investments that require more capital to start. So for me, bitcoin really does bring opportunity to everyone including the poor, although not everyone.
I think for those who can't afford to eat three times a day, of course they won't think about investing and if they have met their food needs, they will of course be able to think about other things such as investing. Choosing to invest in Bitcoin, there are many things that need to be learned and it would be better to have someone accompanying you so that you can easily understand it and we can start with little capital. You are right that Bitcoin provides opportunities for everyone who wants to invest whatever capital we have, even with little capital, if we do it consistently then we will get a profit from the investment we make.
Its really sad that in this day and age, people still go hungry at least three times a day. And as the wealthy discuss investments and Bitcoin, the less fortunate struggle to survive. Its a terrible and extreme discrepancy. However, Bitcoin? The elites would prefer that no one go too deeply into the subject, I see. They would rather that the general public ignore cryptocurrency's capacity for decentralization.

In fact, Bitcoin has the potential to be an equalizer. Its true that there is a severe learning curve. Has the public ever been genuinely educated about the complexities of money by the financial masters, the banks, or the governments? I think not. Only if everyone is aware of and uses cryptocurrency's power can it pose a challenge to the centralization.
4002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is The Father After All on: September 23, 2023, 01:32:59 PM
Bitcoin is known as the king of cryptocurrencies.

For me, Bitcoin is not only the father of all altcoins, bitcoin is also the king of the entire cryptocurrency industry and if the king cannot survive, the country's survival will also be very difficult to maintain.

Up to now, we can see many new projects being born and always wanting to declare war on ETH and always wanting to become a replacement for ETH. But do we see any projects daring to challenge bitcoin's throne? I've never seen a project have the courage to claim that. That shows us the true power that bitcoin is dominating the market.
Bitcoin is a revolution, not just a digital asset. Its inception set off a wave that altered our perspective on finance. While several cryptocurrencies strive to become the next Ethereum, none have the guts to compete with Bitcoin. How come? Power is the simple solution. It is impossible to dispute Bitcoin's enormous power. But where there is power, there is resistance, as history has demonstrated. Do not believe that Bitcoin's dominance is uncontested. Though they may not openly state their goals, there are actors in the background and hidden forces at work who are surely preparing their moves. We are merely onlookers as a silent game of chess is being played.
4003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hate speech and it impacts on bitcoin on: September 23, 2023, 01:08:24 PM
Ignorant is a big disease, if anyone hates Bitcoin it's because they know nothing about it or they are in the governments office, making decisions that only benefits centralization, normal people living around me today have no knowledge about technology, when something like Bitcoin can give you money, they call it a scam or Ponzi, without them trying to figure out what Bitcoin truly is.

My message to such people is to keep hating, since I've knew about Bitcoin there are countless of hate speeches from people, even from popular figures in the world, but the smart ones later started buying Bitcoin and took their hate speech back, like seriously, you can't or shouldn't judge what you don't understand.

Some set of people lacks the courage to change their lives, when they see challenges or failure from anything online, to them, automatically everything online and the internet is a scam, they don't even bother to learn from their own mistakes, sadly there is no way to change their minds, the world will ways be full of such people.
Isnt it fascinating how the powerful fear the unknown? They dont know about Bitcoin because they fear losing control. Whatever disrupts the established quo, particularly Bitcoin, has always threatened central authority.

To those who call it a fraud, I wonder if they've mindfully studied. How quickly they embrace hatred. Ironically, many skeptics buy Bitcoin privately. Its potential is hidden by pride or fear.

The internet was once ridiculed too. Today, can we even imagine a world without it? Many avoid history, staying in their ignorance. How sad that misplaced worries kept them from progress.
4004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Satoshi have known? on: September 23, 2023, 12:45:09 PM
Change is inevitable. The truth is this. But to say Satoshi knew Bitcoin's volatility? Quite the stretch. Satoshi wanted a peer-to-peer system for transactions, not speculation. Yet here we are, treating Bitcoin more like a casino chip than a medium of exchange. Satoshi designed a method to defy central banks and intermediaries. Did he expect avarice and speculation to overshadow his creation's purpose? Perhaps he underestimated people's need for rapid cash. Satoshi may have anticipated some currency appreciation, but to say he anticipated this amount of frenzied speculation is conspiratorial. Satoshi would have noticed Bitcoin's usage alter. Whether he accepts is unknown
4005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling game is not good and everyone should stay away from it on: September 23, 2023, 12:18:13 PM
Numerous lives have experienced the devastation caused by gambling. I feel your suffering. The way the world has changed makes it challenging for people to avoid temptations like gambling, especially in light of the flashy ads and deceptive claims. Do they not inform you about the ruined families? But now that you're in the world of Bitcoin, you're looking for a new beginning.

Keep in mind that the forces governing the modern economy frequently employ strategies to persuade people to part with their hard-earned cash. Although Bitcoin presents opportunities, it also has its drawbacks. Its critical to exercise caution, alertness, and knowledge. Take lessons from history. Dont dive in without fully comprehending it. You desire illumination in your life. Arm yourself with information. Your only real defense against the shadows of the world will be that.
4006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when you look at your first Bitcoin wallet? on: September 23, 2023, 11:44:40 AM
Its always a learning curve to try something new like Bitcoin. Many lessons have been learned by me. At initially, I utilized Bitcoin for practical reasons, like you. When I looked through my old wallet, I remembered all the wasted opportunities. I made a mistake using Coinbase. It's simple, but I dont have my secret key. I gave them almost everything they needed to take charge. These companies lurk in the shadows for blunders like ours. However, sharing helps us learn and reduces their control. Avoid giving them the upper hand
4007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Earnings on: September 23, 2023, 11:19:30 AM
Listen up: the financial world wants you to be clueless. They live off of how stupid you are. But Bitcoin's power comes from the fact that it is not centralized. It is a clear challenge to the traditional methods of doing things. If you really want to trade in Bitcoin, you need to learn as much as you can about it. Remember that knowledge is everything

A word of warning: this place is full of scammers and hacker and theives. Learn the basics, like how the blockchain works, what Bitcoin is for, and what role it plays in the world's financial system. Then, learn to protect it. Before you start buying, you should know how the market works. Once you know enough, you'll not only be able to resist the lure of casinos and gambling, but also be good at trade Bitcoins
4008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 22, 2023, 12:10:06 PM
What Joao Felix has done so far has also made Barcelona happy and Barcelona's decision to respond well to his desire to play at this club has at least paid off, with the very little money they have spent in the transfer market and with what is currently being shown it is quite profitable for Barcelona, and the next thing is how they patented Joao Felix as a full Barcelona player.
Joao brothers aka Felix and Cancelo looks really different when they were playing in their old teams and when they play for Barcelona, I expect Barcelona will sign both of them permanently. Barcelona need to prepare at least 200 Million Euros because Atletico Madrid tend to ask ridiculous amount.
I really think that Joao Felix plays much better at Barcelona than he did at Atletico Madrid. I remember seeing a player in the Champions League whose control of the ball and appearance on the field were amazing. Now, things get complicated because Felix's deal with Barcelona doesnt include a buyout clause for Atletico. The question is still whether or not Atletico Madrid will even think about moving him. Since they have always asked for high fees, the price will be very high. Cancelo has also done nothing but amazing things. But can Barcelona pay for both of them? Since numbers are being thrown around, Im pretty worried about what this will mean for Barcelona's finances. 200,000,000 EUR? Even for a big club like Barcelona, thats a lot of money
4009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: September 22, 2023, 11:53:43 AM
Yes, it's true, Neymar is not fully fit. This can be seen in the two matches played, he has not fully given his best for Al Hilal, he has not been fully able to adapt. In these two matches, Neymar lacked stamina and energy, he made many loose ball mistakes, but sometimes he had good key passes to create opportunities. Al Hilal must give him many opportunities to prove himself, they must also utilize Neymar's abilities in every match so that they can compete to win the ACL and SPL trophies this season.

Today Neymar played his 3rd match with Al-Hilal the results are the same without any significant contribution and what is more surprising Al-Hilal failed to get 3 points today, they only drew 1-1 against Damac, even though Damac is not a strong team, they are at the bottom of the standings lol. The battle for the title is increasingly open with 6 other clubs only 2-4 points difference from competitors. In the next hour, Al-Ittihad will play their 7th match then they will take over the standings with a total of 18 points then tomorrow's big match between Al-Nassr vs Al-Ahli one of them will lose a point or only get 1 point.
I've always said this, and I'll say it again: Neymar's move to Al-Hilal hasnt gone as smoothly as we'd thought. Not for Damac? How come? Given where they are now, a tie is just not an option! Things are changing quickly in the league, and I can tell that Al-Hilal might soon feel the pressure. Neymar needs to improve his game right away. If they dont, sides like Al-Ittihad are ready to take the lead. And lets not even talk about the fight between Al-Nassr and Al-Ahli! One of them will lose ground in the race for the title. This season looks like it will be a nail-biter, and Al-Hilal needs to step up their game if they want to stay in the running.
4010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 22, 2023, 11:35:58 AM
Real was very very lucky to get this win, and we need to really give credit to Jude for being such a great "striker" for them lately. They are having incredible tough time scoring goals because they are lacking players they had before, Vini is a must for them. Jude has taken up the responsibility very very well and they are doing amazingly.

I feel like we are talking about a situation that is a lot more important for them than people think it is, because Jude wasn't brought in to be a scorer, he was brought in so that he would be a great midfielder, which he was at Dortmund and before. Him turning into a goal scorer wasn't something anyone expected but that fact saved them so many times during this season so far.

Jude Bellingham is not only a midfield player; he can also play as a striker. He wants Real Madrid to win every game this season and to become the most renowned team in the world because the absence of Karim Benzema will negatively impact the team. Real Madrid are really fortunate to have a player like Bellingham on their team since, without him, I do not believe that any other Real Madrid player is currently more intelligent than he is.

Real Madrid always plays a lucky game this season, and that's because the majority of the team members are injured. Real Madrid, as far as I'm aware, never played ball by winning like this before; instead, they always played well by defeating teams with a lot of goals. However, this season, it's been very difficult to see real Madrid score goals in the opening period of a game.
Bellingham's ability to transition between midfielder and striker has been impressive this season. He clearly assisted Real Madrid through these trying times. But the club's dependence on him worries me. Benzema's replacement has done well, but its unfair to put so much burden on one man. Madrid must remember teamwork is crucial. Not sure why Real Madrid is playing a "lucky game." In the past, they ruled. They need to reinforce their front line to stabilize their attack and not rely on Bellingham.
4011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Experience for new and old gambler? on: September 22, 2023, 11:16:33 AM
Do you think it is the same experience for a gambler who has practically experienced and been involved in gambling evolution since gambling was on the street side with personal belongings or money, to spaces and buildings for gambling with money, to gambling with money online, and now to gambling with cryptocurrency online with a gambler who has experienced a few or just one of the forms of gambling? whose addiction will be harder to break?

It is not very easy to say because we can never understand what someone is feeling. But I think all the gamblers who have played offline gambling in the past and the amount of addiction they had will not take much time to break it. For if the man is so addicted to gambling that he loses all his money by gambling, he must find employment, and if Congress seeks him, he must be gradually freed from gambling addiction. But a person addicted to online gambling never takes such steps rather he gets so addicted to gambling that he can never quit it. Today's gamblers are more addicted to casinos than the gamblers of yesteryear. It has been observed that there are individuals who gamble with cryptocurrencies online and accumulate good funds with the goal of increasing their funds. Many a times they win the jackpot and lots of money and with that money again starts gambling again and at one time he gets addicted to gambling in large amounts. Moreover, in the earlier era people did not gamble online due to which the dignitaries of many societies used various judgments to free them from gambling and feared those gamblers. Today's gamblers avoid them and instead gamble online with mobile computers at night in various ways that no one can catch. A gambler doesn't get bored of gambling until the money runs out but quits gambling when the money runs out, which I think is the most addictive tax.
The rise of online gambling platforms is alarming. What was once a vice contained within physical spaces has now spread its tendrils through our very devices. Traditional gamblers had some limitations - the travel, the physicality of it all, and society's watchful eye. Now, the cloak of anonymity online provides them a mask, making them more audacious. The sinister truth? Technology has made gambling not just accessible, but insidious. The convenience of gambling in the dead of night, away from prying eyes, only makes the addiction more entrenched. There's a silent conspiracy by online platforms luring vulnerable souls into this financial abyss.
4012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 22, 2023, 11:00:17 AM
Absolutely looking forward to it. Time for some real high level action and also excitement as this is a serious top game. Since Arsenal plays at home I guess most would go for Arsenal as the winner or a draw in a worst case scenario, but I have to admit that I didn't expect Tottenham to do that well after losing Kane and after seeing them play last season. They have been playing remarkable without a doubt and if they can win a point or even the game against Arsenal, that would be an exclamation mark to the whole Premier League.
This will really be a match to look forward to. We might also be curious about what Tottenham's front line will be like without Kane against big clubs, especially Arsenal. However, so far, Tottenham have still been able to play very well and consistently. They have never lost before, only drawing once against Brentford.
But on the other hand, they were able to win 2-0 without a goal in return against Man United. However, this cannot be compared between Man United and Arsenal. Arsenal this season is much better and stronger than Man United. And because of this, of course when competing against Tottenham, Arsenal is not an enemy that is easy to beat. But on the other hand, Tottenham too. So here it will really depend on how they maximize all the chances they have when competing. Arsenal definitely has the advantage of playing at home. So, at least Arsenal can also optimize this advantage.
I agree. Arsenal and Tottenham are two of the world's top teams, so their match should be hotttt. Arsenal plays better at home. Tottenham's play, especially since Kane left, has been startling. I think manager Postecoglu's leadership got Tottenham where they are. His Pep Guardiola-like strategies have been his signature for years. With Son's improvement and James Maddison's midfield ingenuity, they could overcome Arsenal. Tottenham must keep Maddison healthy since he's crucial to their success. Many expect Arsenal to win, but Tottenham's tie or win would shock the Premier League.
4013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling by financial dependents. on: September 22, 2023, 10:42:15 AM
A family member reported to me that her eighteen years old son has started gambling. She is not worried that he is gaming but her problem is that he is a student that solely depends on her for everything he needs. Her fear is also that her son might start stealing from her if he has no access to the money he needs to gamble. My relative has even started suspecting that some money she feels was misplaced might have been stolen by her son.

I spoke to my nephew and he told me that he has never stolen from his mother to gamble. And he gambles with only his savings from his weekly stipend he receives from the family. And he won't gamble if he has no savings to do that. From my observation, he is a responsible gambler that is just enjoying the game and making a little money occasionally. The gambling age in my country is 18+, but his mother is insisting that he must stop. What will be your advice for this young boy?

It's definitely reasonable for a Father/Mother to remind his/her child about gambling because he's undoubtedly heard and read a lot of negative news about gambling and doesn't want his child to get involved in it. Now, I hope you're right in thinking that the boy is a responsible gambler. We don't retain every gambler's mind when they're in the casino, you know.

And I hope he can retain his responsibility in the gambling casino where he will be playing. Also, from what I can tell, the child is dependent solely on what is handed to him, but I hope he does not train himself to deplete his resources in order to gamble.

You know, behind all the glitz and glamour of gambling is a complicated system. They're not just for fun. The casino is always set up to make money, and players? Most of the time, they are used as pawns. Any parent who warns their kids would be doing the right thing. The news doesnt lie: gaming has ruined the lives of many people. Putting your faith in a young mind to be "responsible" in a place like this is like putting your faith in a sheep among dogs. Gambling can be a bottomless pit, and theres no easy way out once you're in it. The boy? He may think he is in charge, but there are things going on that keep him coming back. Not only is it not a game. This is a business that takes more than it gives.
4014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 22, 2023, 10:25:48 AM
It might be argued that Paris Saint Germain are one of the stronger clubs in the Champions League, but the question is how strong are they when compared to the other clubs in the same competition? Not to underestimate Paris Saint Germain, but I would say that they are not stronger than the other favorites. I probably don't have to mention which clubs those are, because I'm pretty sure you can already tell which ones I'm referring to.
I'm not saying this without reason, and one of the factors for me to say that is when I look at their performance in the previous season.
PSG is always the talk of the town every season but in the end for the Champions League they still ended up in the same condition where PSG only continued until the last 16 after that they were eliminated. Currently, they have made changes in terms of plans and player reshuffles have also been made but until now PSG still hasn't found anything more and even their performance tends to decline for the start of this season.
In the Champions League their first match was still very good and they got 3 points. To be honest for the group phase even though they are in the hell group at the moment because there are 3 other big clubs in the group with them but I am quite sure for them to qualify from the group phase but after that I don't expect much and this depends on how their opponents will be after qualifying because if there are heavy opponents again like the previous 2 seasons then the last 16 phase will definitely be difficult for them to pass and they could have stopped again this season.
Assuming that they will be able to qualify from the group stage, the draw to see their opponents will be decisive. I'm talking about external factors here, because the luck of who their opponents will be in the last 16 is also something that matters. After all, we don't know which clubs will qualify from this group stage. And if they are lucky enough at the time of the draw they are matched with a weaker club, or could be considered a dark horse in the group stage. But we'll see, because we're just past the first game, and we're still a long way from the last 16.
I completely agree that the upcoming rounds are crucial and unpredictable. PSG started well with their win over Dortmund, which was impressive after losing to Nice in Ligue 1 the week before. However, Im still concerned about their future. It was concerning that only 3 of their 17 goals versus Dortmund were on target. Can these stats give us hope for their games? It appears they are outmatched if they continue. We all know that leaving the gang is just the start. I hope they succeed, but I doubt it.
4015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What really is affected by hard fork? on: September 22, 2023, 10:08:29 AM
Hard forks are a complex and often misleading subject. There's more to it than merely tweaking blockchain protocols. No. Its about who gets to control things. To answer your question, yes, older blocks do stay together. But the real problem is that these splits cause conflicts in the community. By pushing older nodes to the side, the impact of earlier participants is tried to be lessened. Its like saying, "What have you done in the past?" They are no longer important." This could be a plan by some powerful people to steer Bitcoin in the way they want.
4016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: George Residence becomes first hotel to accept Bitcoin in Nigeria on: September 22, 2023, 09:51:15 AM
Nigeria is making waves again, right? You know what this is? This is a strategic counterattack on global financial elites and their "stable" systems. George Residence is a pioneering Nigerian hotel. By adopting Bitcoin, its attacking banking cartels and suggesting that our fiat-based economic system is broken. More Nigerian firms following suit will be a serious rebellion against the established order. You're right: this is just the beginning, and the old world conspirators may not like it. Nigeria may inspire the globe to ask, "Why not Bitcoin?"
4017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin can provide Subscription Auto Renewal solution on: September 22, 2023, 09:32:57 AM
The modern financial world thrives on centralized control. Banks and card companies have a hand in every transaction. They watch, wait, and charge fees. Auto-renewals work well because they pull all the right strings.

Then Bitcoin. Decentralized, independent, and uncontrollable. The good and bad of it. How can auto-renewal work if there is no central authority? The answer: Smart Contracts. Though, before you get too excited, you should know that Bitcoin's smart contract? Just not there yet. Auto-renewals and subscriptions are important if Bitcoin wants to be the real world currency. But its method for smart contracts needs a big update. We need a solution that doesnt give anyone in the shadows the power they so badly want.
4018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Do you think Satoshi Would Think About Today's Bitcoin? on: September 22, 2023, 09:15:05 AM
Bitcoin's original vision was groundbreaking, a rebellion against the traditional financial systems. If I were Satoshi, I would look at the current situation with a mixed feeling of fascination and sadness. Fascination, because a concept I birthed has become globally recognized. Sad, because the original purpose seems to fade away

The manipulation by centralized exchanges? You're right. This is a glaring issue. Satoshi aimed for a decentralized, peer-to-peer economy, not for a few powerful entities to puppeteer the market dynamics. The initial aim was a pure P2P exchange; not this warped B2P version where exchanges wield more power than they should

The "store of value" vs"currency" is right on. The scaling issues made Bitcoin less practical as a daily currency, so the narrative got twisted. The masses, especially post-2020, dont necessarily grasp the depth of its founding philosophy

We seem to have gone in a different direction from Satoshi's dream, dont we?  Bitcoin was supposed to be for the people, by the people. Not a playground for the elite
4019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Secure Your Legacy, Educate Your Loved Ones on: September 22, 2023, 08:54:44 AM
This, my friend, is more than a lesson; its a wake-up call. While many are distracted by trivial matters, a financial revolution is unfolding right under our noses. You think its a coincidence that theres such a limited understanding of Bitcoin among the general population? Think again. Forces, powerful ones, would rather have the masses remain uninformed.

The urgency to impart Bitcoin knowledge to your family isnt just about ensuring their financial well-being. Its about equipping them against possible manipulations and control by unseen entities. The real tragedy is letting your family be potentially blind-sided by an evolving economy they could have benefited from.
4020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone notice this pattern? on: September 22, 2023, 08:37:14 AM
Now, while your observations are fascinating, the dataset  is dangerously small. You have three distinct instances and you're attempting to draw a consistent pattern from them? Thats supposition, not analysis. And believe me, in the world of crypto, speculation can be as dangerous as misinformation.

With so little information, your faith in the "law of averages" could easily mislead you and anyone else who reads into it. But there is an exception: if enough people buy into this idea and act on it, it could very well become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Simply because a lot of traders anticipate a response, the market might act approprpiately. Therefore, even though your hypothesis is unproven, if enough individuals accept it, it has the potential to influence market behavior. But keep in mind that this is still dangerous. Dont get too comfortable.
