4001  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to make Hard move up or Break down Hard on: August 13, 2019, 04:46:00 PM
Failure of the above level will trigger the Bear to be in control and their potential target is 4350$.
I wont be surprised if the market goes down before the big rally, i expect the market to be trading on a range bound till next year and even if the market goes down to the levels you expect people will see that as an opportunity to invest for the big rally. The market will start moving up by the end of this year and then after the halving i do expect that the market will go higher to new levels.
4002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC halving , what to expect? on: August 13, 2019, 03:29:15 PM
maybe 1 year after halving the price of ltc will go back up and actually now is the right time to buy and sell it before halving or keep it strong
Hope you are not aware that halving in litecoin already happened on August 5 Tongue. I was anticipating some market movement when i saw the trading volume going high before halving and i expected the market to rise but then it died down eventually, the general market sentiments was not that great during the halving and we might see some movement when the alt coin market rises other than that i do not see any individual rise.
4003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 13, 2019, 12:23:38 PM
I have to disagree with you. According to her records, she was fighting in the bantamweight division before coming to the UFC. She was fighting in the bantamweight class since 2010 at least, so 5years before joining UFC
So it must be some kind of russian urban legends I guess. I hope Amanda Nunes will accept to go down to flyweight class to try to take her belt and win the championship of a 3rd division.
You can disagree all you want. Lets take the women's MMA, you are telling all the MMA matches before joining UFC, have you watched any Flyweight weight fights in any of those competitions, you will not find because there was no flyweight division for women's MMA but there was a Bantamweight division in every organization and even UFC opened the flyweight division recently, if there is no flyweight division where do you think she will fight, do you know that even when she was fighting in Bantamweight division in MMA she was fighting in her natural weight class of 57 to 60 Kg in Mua Thai and Kick Boxing, hope you are aware that 60 KG is not Bantamweight. So i hope the Russian urban legend is clear  Tongue.
4004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 13, 2019, 10:45:02 AM
In fact I suspect Shevchenko to have gone down to flyweight category because she saw it would be too difficult to beat Amanda Nunes and take her bantamweight belt. So she preferred to go down to flyweight to win the title...
You have to understand that Valentina Shevchenko was a legit 125 pound fighter and she was fighting all her Muay Thai and Kickboxing in 125 pound weight category and when she came to the UFC they did not have a 125 pound division and so she was forced to move up in weight and fight in 135 pound division and once they opened the division there is no one who could beat her.
4005  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What DEX exchange do you use? on: August 13, 2019, 07:42:15 AM
Hi, guys! I'm thinking about moving to DEX and wanna know your opinion on trustful DEXes.
I used to trade in IDEX and EtherDelta sometime back and during those times the volumes were low in some of the coins but i still liked trading in those platform until the big news of decentralized EtherDelta got hacked, i was confused on how a decentralized exchange got hacked at that time and then there was IDEX blocking users from NY, if they can do that it is not truly decentralized as they claim to be and then i never visited them after that, right now i am not sure which is a good DEX exchange.
4006  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance Swirled into ‘KYC Leak’ Turmoil, Binance not Safu Anymore on: August 13, 2019, 05:10:25 AM
As much as I wanted that legal means should be taken, but I do think that this could be settled out of court. Its Binance fault here, they should have taken steps to protect their customers. But they are still on top of the business so probably thinking of another way to get out of this mess by cooperating and then settling with their customers for damage control  Wink
If the customers sensitive details are leaked then what kind of damage control they can do  Smiley, will they give personal protection to the people who traded huge amounts in binance, if the hackers got hold of the KYC details i am sure they have more sensitive information than that like an individual users trading volume and what coins they are holding and now they have their home address, what do you think will happen, we have already heard criminals holding families at ransom and extorting bitcoin in the UK, so it is not a simple case that can be settled easily out of court.
4007  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance Swirled into ‘KYC Leak’ Turmoil, Binance not Safu Anymore on: August 13, 2019, 03:30:27 AM
To trust or not to trust? That is the question for all Binance users. Binance needs to use hard&soft tactics to prove its technology capabilities and its commitment to transparency and security goals.
The moment Binance was hacked and millions of dollars were lost because of their inefficiency you should consider more bad things were bound to come out in the future, i never traded in binance after that because you never know when they will shut down and freeze all the accounts and then we have to wait for the legal battle to get our coins and we all know that it would take years, the owner can tweet a thousand times that it is SAFU because it will hurt his business, with time we might see the extend of the damage, legal actions are to be taken if they are not capable to taking care of sensitive information and i am not happy with the way things are going.
4008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 12, 2019, 10:21:36 PM
Starc is likely to comeback in second Test squad and Jofra Archer going to debut for England but he already mentioned to media that " don't expect any miracle". sounds fair.
Why was Starc not selected in the first test match, is it because of any injury if not i am not sure why was that, Jofra might be feeling a lot of pressure as he is debuting in Ashes and with his performance in the shorter version there is a lot of expectation for him to perform as they lost the first test and he just want to take an insurance before he plays in the Ashes  Cheesy.
4009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: August 12, 2019, 07:08:16 PM
This is not the case with Joshua as he seemed reluctant to continue fighting in the last rounds after the first knockdown by Ruiz (who visibly showed balls after being almost downed himself), and lost more psychologically than physically to his opponent, the meaning being that it may be very difficult for him to recover, psychologically
The reason for Anthony Joshua to quit in the seventh round is simply because he never expected his management team to select a fighter who was much faster than he expected in his US debut , he was filling the stadiums in O2 arena fighting easy opponents and he took the risk of taking Andy Ruiz as a replacement for his US debut and the rematch is scheduled to happen in Saudi Arabia which is weird, i expect Joshua to be better prepared in his rematch and if he looses this one the hype train is derailed for good.
4010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 12, 2019, 05:19:08 PM
This is really getting absurd and should not be happening in the Footballing world.
Violence should not happen anywhere and people are behaving like hooligans and cannot be tolerated, two people from Tottenham are arrested for altercation with security personals patrolling his residence which is unfortunate.

Liverpool V Chelsea is coming up and i am going for Liverpool to win with ease here but i am going with Liverpool scoring two goals or more but looking at the H2H stats Chelsea is leading the table with 3 wins but considering their last weeks performance it is likely to be the case in this match.

4011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 12, 2019, 03:29:19 PM
They have been known to bounce back after losses which is why I am expecting the same in this 2nd test match. A draw is also a possibility.
I hope England could bounce back in the second test, they were on top most of the time in the first innings but they never capitalized their good start and was able to build a good first innings lead, the English batsmen has to perform well if they are to win the test match and they will be including Jofra Archer in the team instead of the injured James Anderson and they might leave Moeen Ali out. I am still expecting Australia to win the test match as Smith is back in form and Lyon is bowling well and the toss is important.
4012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever won a huge amount on gambling? on: August 12, 2019, 12:51:53 PM
In my experiences, I already won but a little amount of BTC only betting on a boxing fight which is Pacquiao-Thurman fight.
Manny Pacquiao was the favorite in the fight and i wonder how much have you wagged in that fight. If you are planning to win big either you have go with parlay with good odds which is always risky as you cannot predict exactly any sporting events rather than going for favorites with less odds  Tongue.

Now can I ask you, did you ever won a huge amount of money on gambling?
Share your experience.
Like i said there are many people who won big in sports gambling but that does not mean that you will be winning all the time, you need luck on your way and a deep understanding of the sport and the match itself to have the correct prediction and anyone can perform better and some can have a bad day. So there are many variables, higher the risk you are able to take higher the profit you could win and that is the basic.
4013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Surpassed The "Stocks" Search Term (Google Trends) on: August 12, 2019, 11:57:38 AM
Bitcoin Surpassed The "Stocks" Search Term (Google Trends).
The rally in 2017 was really crazy and all the news headlines were mentioning about the huge amount of profit you could earn by investing in it and naturally people will search for the new market place hoping to take advantage of the situation, these trends are just an indication of search results and that does not mean that huge investment will come in, the real investment will come from institutional investors that could drive the market and then everyone will join in the rally to ride them  Cheesy.

This doesn't mean that bitcoin will start to rise tommorow. But there is a higher chance that we started a new positive cycle to the longterm upside. At least it's very bullish compared to the stocks.
There are many factors that are driving the stock market downwards and we never know whether we might see yet another recession in the coming years because of the trade wars that is being going on between US and China, just look at the price of gold, it is rising once again and bitcoin is way better than stock market at this point to invest.
4014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 12, 2019, 09:58:39 AM
Nunes is a batamweight fighter she went up to featherweight category few months ago to fight against Cris Cyborg for the featherweight title, so I don't think she will be very delighted to cut her weight for going down to flyweights category now.
There is no real contender for both Valentina Shevchenko and Amanda Nunes, even when they fought each other when Valentina Shevchenko was fighting above his weight class at 135 pounds the fights were really close the first time and the second one was a split decision and she is the only person who stood with Nunes for 8 rounds which is incredible considering how she demolished everyone after that. We need to see the third fight, either Valentina Shevchenko will move up to challenge Nunes for her championship or Nunes comes down to 125 which is really hard, either way we need to see them fight for the third time.
4015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: British Authorities (HMRC )Seek Data from Crypto Exchanges on: August 12, 2019, 08:40:14 AM
First world countries like USA, UK etc are efficiently regulating the crypto environment in this manner, but I cannot the same about third world countries like India etc. They have no clue as to how to properly regulate crypto and instead focus on banning it completely.
The issue with India and the governance is that they have no clue on how to handle the market, they already opened the can of worms at Jet mentioned by banning all the exchanges that were complying with the normal standards and majority of the exchanges are shut down because the RBI restricted the banks from dealing with them and now P2P exchanges are the way to go for now. They would have done the right way by incorporating things the right way.

are you currently paying taxes for your crypto in UK? If you simply purchased crypto in an exchange for example coinbase and then moved the crypto to a hardware wallet etc, do you need to pay taxes?  If no, how do you convince taxman that you simply transfered from one account to another of yours rather than selling?Huh
You pay taxes for your profits and not for holding your assets, it is the same rule as stock markets and you can just provide all the purchases you have made and the assets you are holding.
4016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Hackers Bombard Chipmixer to Launder at Least 4,836 BTC on: August 12, 2019, 03:55:07 AM
At least 4,836 Bitcoin (BTC) of stolen from Binance exchange in May 2019 was laundered through crypto mixing service Chipmixer.
It is a really bad news for chipmixer as a service as they are put under the bus by this act, with mixing service closing left and right because of pressure from authorities and with his new update the authorities will be putting too much pressure to one of the only surviving good mixing service, even if they reveal the identity of the hackers it will hurt their business, how they are going to respond to the authorities is the biggest suspense here.

Was there was a forecast of rain before the start of the match ? If so, this is one of the best decision of kohli of choosing to bat first.
The outfield is also wet now and it may slow the outfield.
I checked the weather forecast before the match thinking i could make a bet for washout due to rain, but the weather forecast said it will be a sunny day and hence i did not wage a bet on that.

West Indies lost 2 wickets and they are trying to built a partnership and the only way to reach near to the total is to play smartly without loosing much wickets and not taking much risks and if West Indies could achieve that which is highly unlikely they could win the match, want to see how they are going to approach the mid overs, if India could take some wickets and put some pressure i am sure they will crumble.
4018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 11, 2019, 03:39:56 PM
India is winning all the tosses and Kohli is always gambling with his choices.
There was time when Kohli was having no luck when it comes to the toss not too long ago especially during IPL and now he is winning them consecutively which is weird Grin.

Dhawan is really playing badly after his injury. He must have not practiced since then. :-(
I blame Dhawan here as his form is anyways bad.
He performed well in the world cup until his injury and now he is coming after an injury, give him some time to regain his confidence  Wink. India does not have other openers to consider.

I feel 150-160 is a good score against WI today.
Hopefully you are aware that this is not T20 for India to defend a score like 160  Tongue.

Kohli is eyeing for another century by the way he is playing and Iyer could give him good support at the other end.
4019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 11, 2019, 02:18:03 PM
Dalw Steyn has played 93 test matches, got 439 wickets. I think his decision is right. Now he can put more effort on ODI and T20 which I think is badly needed for him, as you know his recent performance wasn't so good.
He was plagued by injury and it wont be easy to perform at an international stage after undergoing surgery and he had so many injuries throughout his career and that could have hampered his performance and we all know he is a great talent and he will come back strongly if his body allows, age is also catching up and he made a good decision to retire from test matches to prolong his career, but all of his memorable performance were in test matches.

Guys! 2nd ODI in few hours. I may not be able to watch it. For last two days I am having some busy time in personal life however I will try to hangout here once I come back home. Not sure when I am leaving.
By the way, it's Gayle's 300th ODI!
I was not aware that the ODI series is underway, just got a pop in my mobile that India won the toss for the second ODI and then i came to know that there was a tournament on going after the T20 Shocked. The reason i missed the first ODI was that i was busy with my life too and the first match was a washout and hence i never got any updates in my mobile.
We will see the entire match today as the weather is good and i am rooting for India to win here simply because of their quality bowling.
