Yes, if you dig really deep into their help center you'll find it. But why should one do any kind of research? It should be mentioned on this card order page: https://wirexapp.com/card/ if it's not there it means they have a reason to hide it otherwise nobody would ever want to order their card....  As an alternative you can try Mistertango. They only charge 20EUR for every 1kEUR withdrawn and daily ATM limit is 1000EUR. |

Wanted to share a short review of a new Wirex debit card. Due to my previous poor experience with Wirex (7-8 out of 10 card loads failed or took a REEEEAALLY LONG time and/or opening multiple tickets with them receiving only incoherent mumbling about some mysterious planned maintenance with no advance notice) I was expecting some kind of catch but I wasn't expecting something like this: max ATM withdrawal daily limit is.... 250EUR! After checking my account I found that I was charged ~10EUR in fees! So it means to withdraw 1kEUR you'll have to pay ~40EUR in fees! What a RIPOFF! This is without taking into account their fake exchange rate and card maintenance monthly fees! The most interesting fact is that I wasn't able to find these fees and ATM daily limits on their website. So this card is completely unusable for me and my needs. Perhaps if you're planning to use it to pay in shops, restaurants etc it will be ok for you but the POS fees are also missing from their website.... so beware! |

Good morning Bitcoinland. Back in the frozen north.
I see we're back up over $7k... currently $7044USD/$9010CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
I wish spring would hurry up, both for the Toronto weather and for the price of Bitcoin.
I left for Mexico during a snowstorm in mid-March and arrived back last night to freezing temperatures. Winter is starting to get as tedious as 4-digit Bitcoin prices.

Finally got my temporary dentures 3 hours before hopping on the plane and they'll take some getting used to. They feel like I have a mouthful of plastic. Halfway though my flight back I had to take them out.
They look good when they're in though. I'd almost forgotten how to grin. I'm sure I'll get used to them fairly soon but I'll still have to wait a couple more weeks before I can start chewing with them.
By next year they'll just be an unpleasant memory when I have solid zirconia teeth anchored securely in my skull. Being a Bitcoin holder definitely teaches you patience with optimism.

Rose: if you are really concerned about a crypto winter, sell 10% of your holdings on the next pump over $7k so you can spend your time worrying about being bear trapped. Its much more relaxing worrying that you will make money with 90% of your stash. I'm just buying enough dollars to make ends meet. We've already doomed more than I thought possible. Tomorrow is all about acceptance. A year ago in April 2017 the price was ~$1200-1300 and you're talking about doom and capitulation? |
