4021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the Crypto Markets Are Saying About the Future of Bitcoin on: December 01, 2019, 09:09:20 PM

A poll conducted by Alex Kruger, a macro cryptocurrency analyst, shows the majority of Crypto Twitter participants think bitcoin (BTC) will ‘eventually’ mature and settle into a wide price range, resembling the traditional commodities markets in real-terms.

This is very true. Equity trading dates back to 17 century (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stock_market). While crypto trading is just 10 years old. We have to give time to crypto trading before we start comparing it with a trading market that is centuries old.
Still BTC is way ahead of any "share" traded till date in terms of giving huge profit in such short span.
4022  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I Buy Bitcoin Now? on: December 01, 2019, 03:54:08 PM
I would say wait for a while. BTC price is going down and hopefully it will go more down of his current price. Safe bet to buy BTC is below 5k, though buying below 4k will be an ideal thing. You may have to wait for months or years to get profit. Make sure you have strong nerves.
Only wise investors bought BTC when it went down to 3500 this year.
4023  Other / Off-topic / Re: Marijuana should be legalized.? on: December 01, 2019, 01:45:04 PM
There are many countries in the world where marijuana is legal for instance Canada. There are few states in USA also where marijuana is legal. As per my knowledge marijuana doesn't have any negative effect. In this pharma dominated world everything is legal as long as pharms can earn from it.
4024  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Fighting unemployment by monetizing your passion. on: December 01, 2019, 09:38:54 AM
Success doesn't come overnight, one has to work hard to earn it.
The reason why many startups are failing is because of lack of patience and continuity. Everyone want to get rich overnight without working continually. Most of successful Enterpneurer projects had a total failure in there earlier days but they got success because of not losing focus.
4025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shill Me Your Altcoins on: December 01, 2019, 08:39:53 AM
Though I have many alt coins in my portfolio but if I have to recommend anyone alt coins it will be ethereum only. I don't have much confidence in other alt coins about there future. Alt coin in my view is just ethereum.
4026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Friends of Satoshi on: December 01, 2019, 07:42:30 AM
In my view if satoshi were a group of people then some of then may have popped by now, since not all will prefer to remain anonymous. A decade is over n satoshi still not shown up. It is the biggest mystery of 21st century.
4027  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Help in Trading on: November 30, 2019, 01:04:11 PM
I m not a big fan of day trading or short term investment. You can find scores of stories in which people are at loss only.
If you want to be successful try to learn the hodling technique, you wont regret.
4028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A new proof-of-work system for Bitcoin mining? on: November 30, 2019, 10:31:24 AM
I agree with members on this thread that its pow consensus that has kept the network secure for almost a decade. Will this new OPoW guarantee security of the BTC network? EOS has DPoS consensus algorithm that is fast but at cost of security n centralization.
4029  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You need to seek for answers yourself on: November 30, 2019, 09:23:06 AM
Imo my opinion newbies can mostly ignore any other project. The only project that newbies should invest is Bitcoin

The risk of losing money is too high, even in bitcon. Those other projects are way too risky, most of them scams (even coin in top100cmc)

Newbies should learn first before jumping into any project I say. Though BTC is old and scam free still playing with BTC is not easy. Newbies lose money, mainly because they start with heavy capital and invest in projects that looks attractive but are scam in reality.
4030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 61% of Bitcoin hodlers could sell at a profit on: November 30, 2019, 08:49:51 AM
Not really, if you are one of the unlucky bunch who decided to purchase Bitcoin in 2017-2018's boom. You are currently in negative and will be unless BTC goes way above 20k. Although it is safe to assume a fair amount of those people must've sold their coins already, there should be some HODLers. Considering the former miners and people who gathered more than thousands of BTC spread among several ten-thousand addresses, it has always been more than 60-70% almost always.

I think it holds true for people who bought BTC earlier this year when BTC was traded below 4k,  I dont think there ratio will be around 61%. Current reason is good for buying BTC but not much pay attention to this fact when market is down and out.
4031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New EU law: Banks allowed to hold and sell Bitcoin as of 2020 on: November 29, 2019, 06:34:28 PM
I don't think this would have a huge impact though, to be honest. The banks will still not want to work with crypto-currency and definelty not bitcoin, when it is literally the opposite of the values that they support.

It's going to make the small amount of banks that wanted to work with bitcoin easier to do so, but no one is going to start jumping to offer crypto services.

What's the exact date for this issuance BTW? So, I'm assuming banks can't work with BTC and other cryptos rn?

Yes I think governments along with banks will only allow crypto usage if they are regulated. Without regulations they wont accept crypto, its very simple.
In my view crypto system will work in parallel with banks at least in a decade or so.
4032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mass adoption of crypto on: November 29, 2019, 06:09:33 PM
Which central bank is accepting BTC with open arms? I think non in the world.
Banks are centralized financial institutes while BTC is decentralized financial system. In order to have mass adoption BTC has to win the war with all such centralized bodies.

Since we have announced the announcement on November 24, IDAX Global CEO have gone missing with unknown cause and IDAX Global staffs were out of touch with IDAX Global CEO.

For this reason, access to Cold wallet which is stored almost all cryptocurrency balances on IDAX has been restricted so in effect, deposit/withdrawal service cannot be provided.

Lets hope its not a scam and CEO show up very soon. But incidence like this are certainly not good for crypto exchanges.

4034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You think terrorist groups around the world use Cryptos as a means of payment? on: November 29, 2019, 03:40:30 PM
Well terrorists, drug dealing and other bad activities are performed using fiat currencies for centuries. So we cant say paper currency is bad. Like wise dark web is just one usage of crypto, there are many positive uses of crypto also. So we cant rule BTC as bad just because it has one bad use.
4035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who has entered a shop (non-BTC accepting) and asked if they will accept Crypto? on: November 29, 2019, 03:19:55 PM
In my experience in our country none of them are accepting crypto as payment unless they are already into crypto community and know how to use it. One thing for sure is there will be time that banks will make a crypto atm and use it as debit/credit card to use in shop.

Likewise in my country there aren't many merchants which accept BTC as payment. Main reason is people dont know much about crypto and secondly due to government advisories on cryptocurrency.
4036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will the price of Ethereum be tomorrow? on: November 28, 2019, 06:53:17 PM
Ethereum price right now is 155 USD and tomorrow it may go further down. Despite following news we are seeing nothing in Ethereum price rise.

4037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NOW the time to get into Ethereum ? on: November 28, 2019, 06:32:01 PM
Agree that currently Ethereum prices are near their bottom support range so good time to pick some and watch the market for any coming dips to keep adding on spikes lower.

Ethereum no doubt is the most undervalued coin at the moment. Keeping in view the current bearish market trend I think ethereum will further come down. If you are looking for long term investment buying ethereum at the current price of 155 USD is not bad as it involves minimum risk of loss.
4038  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here is why Bitcoin can only go down on: November 28, 2019, 06:06:09 PM
Lover and haters everywhere. Not only crypto. First of all I saw thousands of calculation like you.saw thousands of posts that bitcoin will be 0.01$ or bitcoin will be dead. But finally bitcoin is more than 7500$ right now.hope i will see same post when bitcoin price will be more than 30k$.but no matter bitcoin is bitcoin. Lovers will love and haters will hate.

Every new technology faces criticism in the start, its a natural fact. Important point is BTC community firmly believe in the strengths of Bitcoin and its the BTC community that is driving the upword price of Bitcoin. If we see Bitcoin journey from 2009 to 2019, we clearly see Bitcoin has gained global attention despite too much criticism from centralized financial institutes.
4039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is impossible to proof that somebody is Satoshi. on: November 28, 2019, 05:43:49 PM
It is impossible to prove that somebody is Satoshi.

I firmly believe that even if real satoshi turned up one day, people will also declare him Faketoshi.
This is so true.

Even if Satoshi presents his privatekeys, signs messages, shows his passwords, e-mail account accesses... it could be someone else who has all these privatekeys, passwords, accesses now.
He would only prove the ownership of these but it is impossible for somebody to prove that he is Satoshi.

Satoshi never showed up but he at the same time make sure that nobody else can steal his work and claim to be Satoshi. Many tried to prove themselves as satoshi but failed miserably since there is nothing intrinsic to satoshi that somebody can show and claim the prize. Lets wait and see if something good comes out regarding real Satoshi.
4040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your take? on: November 27, 2019, 07:38:27 PM
In my view market is taking correction after recent hype in prices. Correction in every market is inevitable factor and crypto market is not an exception. I have set my own prices at which I will buy BTC and alt coins of my choice. If you see the history BTC never disappoint its holders and I am one of it, proudly.
